Waldhotel Davos

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The views of the mountains from the room balcony were exquisite, the spa was wonderful, the room was cozy and very clean and the restaurant was lovely. I highly recommend.

We were first time in this hotel after we stayed in Waldhuus with our sons several times. |The location is fantastic. Beatiful view over the city. We stayed in suite 404 and junior suite 501; last one -on top floor- was for us the most atmospheric. |The whole hotel exudes the atmosphere of the past; the time it was a sanatorium. |Very nice how the hotel has been decorated talking into account earlier times. |When you enter the restaurant you feel and recognize the atmosphere of the book from Thomas Mann "Der Zauberberg"...We ate every evening there and enjoyed the delicious dishes. The highlight was the Valentine's dinner: a rose upon arrival, beautifully decorated table! It's the little things that make it special!|The hotel also has a lovely swimming pool with a pleasant temperature. |A stay in this hotel I can recommend anyone who loves the atmosphere from earlier times (without being old-fashioned or out-dated) , who can enjoy beautiful views, delicious food and a good spa. |We will definitely return.

The Waldhotel is a gem. The rooms, the food, the staff and the spa are world class. We spent 4 nights here over New Year and the experience was delightful. From the moment the hotel collected us from Davos Dorf until they dropped us back they looked after all of our needs. When we requested late changes to items we have booked, the helpful reception staff worked with the restaurant staff to help us change our plans as our holiday unfolded. First class people and venue. They were very friendly and forthcoming. Gave us an upgrade upon check-in without hesitation. |All the staff were very welcoming and could and wanted to answer to our needs in an uncomplicated manner. |The room was spacious and very clean and had a wonderful view over Davos thanks to the elevated yet central location. |The spa offering and the wellness aria suited us perfectly. |The only critic I have is it’s furnishing. It’s a little dated and could do with a fresher and more timeless look inside. Maybe bring back some of the turn of century features in a modern and classy discrete way. |Especially the hallway by the rooms felt a bit empty and therefor a bit sad.

Highly recommend! This is indeed outstanding service in every aspect. First of all, all the hotel staff are super friendly. Yes, all of them! They give you warm hearted smile and service. The balcony view is just wonderful! Even do nothing the whole day just to chill on the balcony would be fantastic experience! The food in the hotel restaurant also pretty good! Yum yum tasty! In the hotel, you can tell that they care about every detail and they care about how you feel! Will definitely come back again!

My company recently went on a ski trip to Waldhotel Davos for one night and we all had a fantastic time! The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and made sure all of our needs were met. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great views of the mountains. The barkeeper was very friendly. We also took advantage of the hotel's wellness area, which was great. The location of the hotel was perfect - it was close to the ski slopes and there is a ski shuttle from the hotel. Overall, we all had a great time and would definitely recommend the Waldhotel Davos to anyone looking for a great ski trip!

I had a very relaxing stay at the hotel and the staff were very friendly, Rooms are large (I only had a single but it was still a good size) and the wellness area excellent. There was live music in the bar and an open fire - a lovely way to relax of an evening|I would highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a more peaceful location in Davos as the location is slightly off the main road. |I would come again!
