I had the best experience at Walk Ons in Hammond. My server, Lauren, was so sweet and professional. She made me feel like I had known her forever. She kept everything running smooth, our drinks stayed full, and she checked in just right, not too much and not too little. If every restaurant had a Lauren, eating out would always feel this good.

Alaina F was absolutely amazing, hands down gave the best service. It’s nice to find someone who actually enjoys their job. The food was amazing as well !!! If you can save room for desert the bread pudding is a life changer ! Will definitely be back !

My family and I eat out pretty often, and it honestly takes a lot for service to really stand out to us, but Vivien absolutely did. From the second we sat down, she was welcoming, upbeat, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. She stayed on top of everything without us ever having to ask, and you could tell she truly enjoys what she does. It made the whole meal so much more enjoyable knowing we didn’t have to worry about a thing because she had it covered. It’s rare to come across a server who goes above and beyond in every aspect, but Vivien did just that. Hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time, and we’ll definitely be back asking for her again

I had an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to our server Essence ! From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. She knew the menu inside and out and offered great recommendations. Our drinks were always filled, and our food came out perfectly. Her positive attitude and excellent service truly made our meal enjoyable. I'll definitely be back and hope to be seated in her section again!

I had the pleasure of being served by Mia. She made the whole experience amazing! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations for the menu were spot on, and she had such a great attitude throughout our entire visit. The atmosphere was already great, but Mia’s service really took it to the next level. If you're ever there, definitely ask for Mia — she’s a true asset to the team!

Colton was the man! Great personality and amazing waiter. For a young guy he’s the best I’ve seen at his job in many states!!

Walked in and didn’t wait to be seated. My server, Lauren, greeted me with a smile and was attentive to my requests. She periodically doubled back to see if I was in need of assistance. I order lemon pepper wings as my appetizer and they were amazing. I then ordered a bacon cheeseburger burger and it was a hearty handful. I’ll always visit Walk-On’s and request to be seated in Lauren’s section.

Wings were just as good as the service from Pat and Rayna at the bar. They know how to keep us fed and entertained

Mostly good experiences with Walkons chain of restaurants over the years. I might be done with them now. Changed the bayou pasta recipe and charge $3.00 up charge just to get fried shrimp on it instead of blackened shrimp. Does it really cost $3.00 for batter? That makes it come to $22.00 for a pasta dish. Thats insane! I usually get this dish every time I come but I ordered something else instead because I wasn't paying $22.00 for pasta! Update: They brought it out to me anyway, so I got to get it one last time. Still not paying $22 for it in the future.

I have been here 4 times in 3 years. Each time was good so far. I gave it some time to open before trying, and now that it's been open for a while, have tried several times. Food: Food was good each time. Devil's on Horseback were great last time I visited for guys' night in November 2024. My burger was OK. Nothing special. It would be better if they cooked to order. The chili glazed salmon was great. Chicken Salad was great. Mozzarella sticks - off the chain! Service: No complaints or issues with service or servers. Ambiance: Restaurant has been clean each time visited. When it gets within an hour of closing time, the volume on the TV's seems to have been turned up to an unreasonable level this last time. It would be better if customers could enjoy the restaurant during all open hours and not be drowned out with TV volume within the last hour. I understand if it's used to get people to leave maybe in the last 10 minutes, but an hour ahead - maybe it was just a fluke though, so I am not going to complain this time. Overall, I will revisit this Walk Ons.

The Ahi tuna salad is not very good. Pretty much the worst. The cubed tuna is tough, no flavor and seems like an after thought. The drinks are great!

After traveling 10 hours from Norman, Oklahoma we decided to stop in and grab some dinner. We were finally greeted after 5 minutes with zero smiles, or enthusiasm but thankfully our waitress was super kind! Atmosphere: 10/10 They had a decent vibe. Good music, some fun little basketball shooter games my kids loved, and decently clean. Could use some friendlier faces. (Coming from a long time waitress myself) Food: 6/10 cheeseburger came without cheese, and the Louisiana platter could've used a few more shrimps, the kids pasta was the saving grace. Super good! Cold beer, decent food, and a good vibe. We'd swing through again if we're on this side of the world!

Ordered the bayou pasta. The menu states it comes with jumbo blackened shrimp. When I received it there was fried popcorn shrimp instead! I pointed it out to the waitress and she stated no it comes like that. I showed her the picture on the app of the pasta and she said well it always comes like that here. Later she brought the check and said I was right but they just changed the menu yesterday! Very disappointing experience. I wouldn't have ordered the bayou pasta if I knew it came with fried shrimp and I still paid full price for it! Picture for proof.

The food is usually consistent and good here. The burgers, salads, and sandwiches (try the ribeye Poboy) are all sure fire winners! Nice atmosphere in the restaurant area which is surrounded by big screens showing any number of sports events. As well as at the large bar area. Servers help, like ours Kaylie. She was helpful, knowledgeable about the menu items, and very sweet. And as a quick reference, our favs are the Hickory Burger (It's gigantic!!), the Cypress Cobb Salad, and the Ribeye Poboy. All are absolute winners! It's a nice place to hang with friends as well. Go give it a try.

To start my party and I showed up right around 10:45 and was seated almost immediately. The sever was very friendly and a great person. Food was good, no complaints there. Only problem this place has is the lack of seasoning in their pasta, other than that deserts are great. The cookie skillet and mini beignets were really good, definitely a place If you just craving a bunch of different things this is the place to go.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We frequent Walk On's and have never had an experience like this. We arrived to pick up our curbside order, and waited in the parking lot for about 20 minutes. I was only able to receive my order because I had to flag down an employee. She informed us that they don't get notified by the website when an online order is placed. The fries were hard and stale. We added avocado to a salad... I think they had just picked the avocado off of the tree. It was so unbelievably hard. Not ripe whatsoever. The chicken on the salad... dry as could be. No moisture. The burger had virtually no sauce. The bread, bacon, and burger patties were burnt. I've had disappointing meals before, but this was almost insulting. $40 down the drain :(

Upon entering host was sitting at booth infront on her phone. We asked if the cheese fry's come with pork and were told it can be added. I did not say I wanted to be up charged and the waitress never said she would add it to the bill. We got at most one ounce of pork for the addition $2. Entrees were small came with no sides without up charge. Waitress did not check on us, besides taking our drink, app, and entree order. She never came up until it was time to drop off the bill. My drink ran empty and I never received a refill. The tables around us had very vibrant waitresses that did check on them often but ours was lacking and looked upset the entire night.

The bar tender was not very attentive to the people around the bar our food was cold and I had a martini then when I ordered my second one the bar tender made the drink in the shaker glass and poured it in my dirty glass then took the cocktail pick out of our dirty dishes and put the olives on and put it in my new drink very unprofessional

Love this place, all the tv s, sports, really fun, service was great, both appetizers were really good (cheese logs and wings) my Alfredo was a little on the dry side but still good. Great experience, as always.

Walked in and for roughly 5-7 minutes, there was no one there to greet us. A few waitresses/servers walked past us but again, no one acknowledged we were there. At this point, I stopped a waitress walking past and asked should we seat ourselves. She replied by saying no, she'd get us some help. 2 minutes later, someone walked up and asked how many in our party. I told her 8. She asked that we give them 5 minutes to prepare our table. Shortly after she walked away, a group of 5, another of 6, and a couple walked in. When the hostess came back, she looked up from her tablet device and said "holy moly " . It was quite hilarious but sadly you could tell she was overwhelmed and they were understaffed. The manager and another staff member came to assist and all were seated within 10 minutes. Once seated, our party of 8 was quickly served with drinks and orders were taken. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. As far as taste, it's typical bar/chained restaurant food. Nothing fancy. I highlight this since living in Louisiana and frequently visiting restaurants in NOLA and surrounding area, this was just a quick pit stop to put something on our stomach. Food met expectations for type of restaurant but service upon entry started off a bit touch and go. Two groups that came in after us left based on the initial service upon entry.

For a sports grill the cuisine was really good. Had some delicious boudin balls for an appetizer and they were meaty and not filled with breading or rice. The gumbo had a very rich sauce and ample sausage and chicken. My wife's classic hamburger was excellent and ample. So ample that our dog got to enjoy some! My po boy was okay but I wished they used the wonderful shrimp from the gulf instead of imported shrimp. Service was fine and the restroom was clean.

A lot of Walkons I go to in Louisiana have serious management problems which equates to bad service and food. Not so with this one. Service was great, portions were perfect (most restaurants serve too much food) and taste was great. Great bar staff too!

It make no sense to stack the waitlist at the door as there are plenty of empty tables. This is poor service and bad management.

The food here is so subpar. My family and I will not be back in. I had the Alfredo and it tasted like it came from the 99 cent store. I don't know how y'all keep business here with these microwave meals.

Food and service is always consistent. Portions are large and well seasoned. One place I don't have to break out my Tony's. My favorite is the fried fish topped with etouffee and the black jack chicken. My husband loves their salads they are huge.

They Fk up your order togo, almost every time and I only ordered Togo twice ‍ they forgot my sons order of fries, they messed up the wings and the fish taco's plus they only give you 2 pcs of fish Togo when they give you 3 in the restaurant they got out of 5 right.. I came here a few times after work and the food and service has always been great and prompt. I have not been to Walk On's in years before coming to this one. This location is fairly new in Hammond and is a good spot for my coworkers and I to go to. The menu is quite large and there are plenty of great choices to choose from. You can never go wrong with their tasty and fulfilling appetizers. I personally love their mozzarella logs and wings. The entree sizes are quite large so you sometimes leave with a takeout box. The food has always been on point and their presentation is consistently nice. The staff is well trained and work hard to keep customers happy. The bartenders are fun and know how to make tasty, but strong drinks. All in all, this location does their job well and consistently. They overall have a great team who are all ready to serve you!

Went to the new walk one in Hammond and tasted a little bit of everything! Service was fast and nice. Got the boudin balls and spinach dip as appetizer. The spinach dip was good, but the bread was hard as a rock. Would be much better with chips! The boudin balls were different yet very good! The chicken berry salad was delicious as always. Boyfriend loved the crawfish etuf and friend loved her chicken Caesar salad!

Pitiful!! Drove All The Way From Loranger After I Placed An order And Just Got A Bowl OF Noodles. Bayou Pasta Should Have Shrimp In It but Not This Time!!!!

Had the Death Valley today and to go with a great drink I received great service from both Hailey and Leslie. I will definitely be back. Been a while since I've felt this welcomed at a Walk Ons thank you.

Cleo was an amazing well round and great hospitality. She was really knowledgeable about the beer and made sure I tried the beer before I had a full pint. Love her bubbly personality. Also knew how to keep a great conversation due to the fact she was busy. She's a very hard working young person that the company needs to have more. I will definitely will come back to this great establishment due to her! Cleo had a smile the whole time and made me feel welcome.

I highly recommend the restaurant. The service and food were truly exceptional. My server Taylar was attentive and I appreciated that since I had my younger children with me. My children loved the activities.

Food was excellent BUT, when the bills came out the server,MADISON S, kept the credit card machine in her hand and we didn't see our bills. Since it was 8 of us the tip was already on the ticket. Madison S DID NOT TELL ANYONE. I ended up giving the server a second tip as did everyone else. We talked to the manager and he told us the server is not required to notify the customer about the tip being added already. THAT IS NOT THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. The manager finally offered to give us a free appetizer. This appetizer I was offered will end up costing me an extra $12.00. We will not be back.

The fried catfish looked amazing on the menu, but what I got didn't come close to the picture on the menu. The fish was cut so thin and curly like a French frie. I couldn't eat it because the fish was hard! the hush puppies were old and tasted like grease. I also didn't like that I couldn't find the prices. I've never bee to the restaurant before but I doubt I ever will.

This Walk Ons is a new location that hasn't officially opened yet. The staff was training and the service was excellent. The food came out fast and hot and was amazing.

ONLINE ORDER placed at 8:33pm! Pickup time was 8:50pm. I arrived at 8:42pm. Sundae had already been made and was sitting! The cup of ice cream had been placed on top of the warm cookie which not only melted the ice cream, but the chocolate chip cookie stuck to the bottom of the cup! I know a cup of ice cream could wait to be scooped once a customer has arrived!! If not, remove that option from online ordering. This was a very disappointing purchase!!

We probably each here once a month because the menu is a large variety of things to choose from. The Devils on Horseback are my favorite appetizer. I really enjoy the blacken chicken alfredo. The ribeye poboy is also delicious. Havent really had a poor experience from any of Walk On's

March 2024 - Food is blah and very pricey. It was not a busy night so service was prompt. I would not recommend this place for food but probably a good hangout for watching a game and having drinks.

Seems like a decent atmosphere, but understaffed and attitudes galore. Wait was 15 minutes but 25 minutes later still not seated as they were looking for an empty table despite several being open. They could care less and seemed put out by having to work.

It's sad to see a great franchise begin to fall apart. Walk-Ons has been great but it's slipping. The service, of course, is less than it was a year ago, in the three Walk-Ons we visit regularly. But, the Hammond store takes the cake. Service is spotty. The so called BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich was dry and reasonably tasteless, and worst of all, they have discontinued their famous waffle fries. Now they serve plain French fries.....about like you can buy in 2-pound bags at Walmart. How disappointing.

Alligator bites were raw, beignet bites tasted like grease. The Cobb salad was good. The burger was really pink. The waitress kept disappearing. Was not a good experience at all.

We had a wonderful experience today! Cleo at the bar took care of us from beginning to end of our dining experience. She gave us detail and honest suggestions. She was spot on with her suggestions and descriptions. If you are looking for great service and food go see Cleo at the bar!!

Came for lunch with my 98 year old Father. This place is NOISY! Music playing so loudly I couldn't hear myself think. Extremely uncomfortable.

I like the TVs. The booth is excellent; sitting at the tables is uncomfortable, so get the booth! Foods good just wished the service was a little better and given more napkins; also, appetizers are expensive!

Went to Walk-Ons for Lunch (yesterday 11/08/2021), normally we order dinner "To-Go", either Thru Door Dash (or) If out, We'll just call in our order, then Drive Up and use their "bring your order out to you in your car" service. Which is Fabulously convenient, especially on either VERY COLD or VERY HOT days (or) if You have a car full of kiddos and You're on Your way home, or You've been shopping or running errands all day, and You can no longer walk on Your exhausted feet, and You just want to get home and put Your footsies up! *chuckles*..Then Walk-On's "bring Your order to Your Car" service will seem Heaven Sent! The Good News is that their bringing Your "To Go" order out to Your Car while You kick back and Relax service, is a standard 365 every day a year (when they're open) service, and not just one temporarily around due to COVID-19...Woohoo! This was only my 2nd visit actually inside a Walk-son's (all other orders were pick-up or Door Dashes), and I have to say, there isn't a single Bad T.V. Viewing seat in the House! Come "Game Day", for whatever "Game" is Your personal addiction (Football, Baseball, Basketball, Etc.), Walk-son's is DEFINITELY where You WANT TO BE SITTING+WATCHING! PARTICULARLY, IF: a) You're hanging with Your Boys! b) You & Your Girl or Guy wants some Grub & a Game! c) Your Single and You hate watching games at home alone! You'll always find Game Fans Here! Etc.. BUT, it's not just a Game Day eats kind of place, No Way!, You'll also want to either Order "To Go" or Dine-In at Walk-On's simply to enjoy their FOOD‼ THE FOOD IS. GOOD! Their "Boom-Boom" Shrimp (Shrimp with a Spicy, but not Hot, glaze) is a Favorite of my Sister's, and is served as either an appetizer just in a bowl by itself, or as Shrimp Boom Boom Tacos (2-3 per serving) with the Shrimp and some shredded cabbage that gives it a nice crunch in a Flour Tortilla. They also offer Redfish, Tuna or Pork as alternate Taco options. I've had the Redfish, which I found a bit disappointing, as the Redfish was chopped up to unrecognizable, so I wasn't a fan. Honestly, I prefer Santa Fe's Fish Tacos that comes with recognizable Chunks/Pieces of Fish and has chopped cabbage, but also includes a more flavorful sauce(?). I've also tried Walk/On's: * CORN GRITS: Yellow Grits with Corn mixed in it. It was good because it was warm, and the first 3-4 spoonfuls tasted like corn, but after that I lost interest,m. I'm not a big grits fan. I only ordered the corn grits, because the loaded mashed potatoes came with bacon already mixed in it. I'm a pescatarian (aka vegetarian that eats seafood). * CRAWFISH ÉTOUFFÉE (bowl): Which was GREAT! I enjoyed it so much I got an additional bowl of it to take home. Their crawfish étouffée is nice and creamy, semi-thick, (but not too thick), and it has a nice flavor without it venturing into that all too common annoying 'tourist spicy' that many restaurants tend to serve, and the étouffée is overall just an enjoyably good dish, and one worth repeating (often!) Note: Crawfish Etouffee is listed on the Menu as 'cup' size; however, when ordering I asked if available and then requested a 'bowl' size, so I had a serving equal to a standard restaurant soup entree instead of the 'cup' size, which is equal (imho) to a starter/appetizer serving size. * CATFISH ATCHAFALAYA: I ate this entree years ago at the Baton Rouge Walk-On's and enjoyed it, and I'm now looking forward to ordering it at the Hammond Mall Walk-On's Soon!

ordering to go is always a challenge because it seems like they enjoy intentionally giving messed up orders. I've had burgers dressed completely opposite of my request which almost feels like a cruel joke and cookie skillets either burnt to a crispy or in crumbles. completely unprofessional and when you call , they don't write down your information in order to fix the order so when you ask , they have no idea what you're talking about. DO BETTER

Had the opportunity to visit during the Tampa Saints game and it was extremely loud. Server had a hard time even taking my order. Everything you should expect Ina sports bar. The beer was cold the pasta hot and everyone had a good time. Will be back!

I've never eaten there before, but my son has so we ordered food for a pickup. I looked over the menu for a while before telling him what I wanted, the Ahi Tuna because it looked so delicious, but it's not what I got, I got a few small squares of tuna, a handful of avocado on a very large portion of cabbage, the tuna was hard to chew. The only thing I ate was the table spoon of very small cuts of avocados. This was not what I saw on the menu

Y'all really made my day that day. My service was excellent even though I know my waiter thought I was a little cooky lol. Food was great also. What really topped it off for me was the band that came and played. I can't think of the name of it right now but it was a Caucasian young female and male and when I tell you her singing genuinely touched my soul?!?! I'm a sucker for live music but they seriously soooooooo good. I would go back here weekly just to here her sing again. Like I might ask her to be the band at my wedding. It was that good!! (If I remember her name I'll add it to my review)

I'm not a huge fan of chains but this place is pretty cool. Good vibe. TVs everywhere. A great place to meet a friend and grab a bite to eat or a drink. Lots of different seafood choices and a nice twist of Cajun appetizers amongst many other tasty looking options I will be back to try. If I want to catch a game and grab a beer and a bite to eat this place is a great option.

Walk On's is the go to spot for a great game day experience. With over 30 options of beer on tap, 70 tv's, and a great menu, there is something for every one. The staff is is very friendly. This is our go to spot.

I would give a zero if I could. Went to a nice family supper and just as you would expect something would go wrong. We ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with no tomatos because my son is allergic. And what do they do? Bring it with tomato's so we sent it back to get it fixed. They brought it out maybe 5 seconds later and IT STILL HAD TOMATOS. So once again we sent it back. This is just ridiculous. Don't recommend. They don't care about you or your allergies.
