I visited Wall Street Grill for the first time, as part of a celebratory dinner from my job, back in November. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in a fine dining establishment. My job is predominantly owned and operated by people of Jewish faith. I'm not sure if the owners of the restaurant are Jewish but I believe Wall Street Grill offers kosher, which is why my job chose it. Very unique, as I'm not aware of fine dining Kosher offerings throughout the city. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated in a private room which had a long dining table just for our party, and we partook in a three course meal. We started the night with drinks and appetizers. I had a delicious traditional mojito. Appetizers were a variety of family style sushi rolls, and some dinner rolls with butter. I don't know much about sushi, but this was all really tasty. They had both raw fish and veggie options. Among them all, I loved the smoked salmon sushi. Sooo tasty! We then had a variety of family style appetizers of crispy thai beef, duck dumplings, crispy chicken tikka, and cauliflower bits. Among my favorites were the crispy chicken and thai beef, both had great texture and the sauce on the chicken was a nice balance of sweet and sour. The duck dumplings were surprisingly tasty with tender meat. The cauliflower bits were'nt very tasty; I did not like the peanuts. Shortly after appetizers, we each chose one entree and a dessert. I chose the boneless ribeye (well done), which included some roasted and pureed autumn veggies. As a table, we shared two sides (family style) - truffle fries and roasted green beans. After all the food we had prior, I was too stuffed to eat my meal in its entirety, BUT it was delicious. The steak was prepared exactly how I like it and seasoned well. I was offered some type of sauce on the side that really kicked up the flavor. The roasted autumn veggies added a tinge of sweetness which paired well. Among the other side, the green beans were delicious. I don't know what type of seasoning they put on it, but it was just right. Not too salty or buttery, just right. For the dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake. I did not like it at all. The chocolate was a little too bitter for me, and the cake wasn't as moist as I would have liked. The ice cream and fresh berries were good, no complaints there.
Overall, its was a great and memorable experience. We all had a wonderful time. The staff were kind, attentive, and provided exceptional service. The ambience was also calm and relaxing. I would definitely return on my own, and I would recommend to others. Its a great place to have a business dinner, after work meal, or simply bring family from out of tow
