Love this place! For sure new hangout spot. Was needing somewhere that allows dogs and has good food. This was it. The server Justin was amazing. Served us and got my dog some water. We also got him a pup patty. Vibes were great, not loud and music was chill . For sure coming back

Dog friendly inside and out. The patio would do great with more shade as it was a bit hot. The food and drinks were great. Service was excellent.

Great dive bar with darts! Great food, great drinks, great vibes! My pup Sadie loves it here too!

Google
Such a fun local neighborhood spot to catch the game or have a drink. Good local beers on tap. They have rotating specials for food/drinks and do text specials often. We went on 20 wings for $10 and also got the smokin fries. Everything was delicious as always. I also recommend the chicken sandwich. They also do live music and other events, definitely a spot to check out.

Google
Great new pub ! The vibe was relaxed and welcoming. Nice selection of beer on tap . Full bar as well. We ordered the Ranch wings . Super salty but nice size and cooked well. Will try a different flavor next time. Dog friendly patio is shaded. Definitely will visit again !!

The food was great and prices were even better. The outdoor patio was awesome! Great vibe. The Hispanic food runner was extremely rude. Had her phone in one hand and on blast, with my food in the other hand. I asked her for napkins and she seemed irritated.

Google
Their food was amazing and the atmosphere was really laid back. Highly recommend their loaded fries, they’re loaded with brisket! It’s one of those hole in the wall kind of places only locals from the neighborhood know about. Truly a hidden gem.

Yelp
I forgot to take pictures of my food and drinks but they were delicious. We tried the wings, fried pickles, and I had the strawberry margaritas.

Yelp
I'm sitting at a 3.5-3.75... we came for trivia night and had a good time! I will probably be back for trivia night even though they were quite difficult questions (it's open ended). I also love the small local pub vibe and the QR scanning app to order. The people are fast and very nice. They have a good deal where you get 50 cent wings if you text the number on their website and good deals on union (the qr menu). We tried to go for "happy hour" but I didn't really see a special menu for that. The downsides... the wings are the tiniest most salty things I've had in a very long time. I get inflation but it actually kinda felt like scraps... the celery same thing. They also felt a little overcooked?? but also slightly pink somehow??? It reminded me of chicken jerky (they might smoke it or smth? because it definitely wasn't undercooked). We tried all three dry rub flavors and the best imo was spicy ranch (good kick but hella salty), lemon pepper then garlic parm (no flavor). We also got fried pickles which were HUGE pickle slices so it wasn't very crispy. I honestly felt a little ill after. The fries looked good though but if I came back I would probably just get snacks and drinks (the drinks are pretty strong tasting too). I also feel that they should have a sign reminding people to close out their online tab too because for some reason we thought that if you closed your tab at the bar, the online tab will close as well... maybe a better system to link them or just have a sign reminding patrons that they are separate bc we got charged a 20 dollar fee :(

Yelp
I want to like this place and I have given it multiple tries, but every single time I go, we are overcharged or our food comes out almost comically late. Once they brought us the fries we ordered for the table as we were getting up to leave and we had been there for a very long time. To add insult to injury, we got home we saw that we had been charged twice for a large order of fries when we had only ordered a side. There are also undisclosed ingredients. Surprise jalapeños aren't for me. If you're going to put them in a sandwich, make sure folks buying it are aware.

Yelp
Ok, this place deserves a 10 out of 10! Such a small comfort neighborhood bar. These are the types of small local businesses that I adore. They' don't offer your typical bar food, they took it up a notch by smoking their own meats! From smoked brisket faves to wings, this place is easily a Texan neighborhood gem. The service is not only welcoming but helpful when it comes to beer and food selections. I totally recommend this place!

Yelp
I really enjoy this place! This used to be Smoking Beauty which was also good and had the best Frito pie. However, they've changed up the concept to be more like a pub and the food has changed to wings. The wings are tasty and they even have a special if you sign up as part of their friends promo to get texts/messaging. I think it's like 50c wings--deal good up to a week. That being said it's just like a neighborhood bar and I plan on coming here more often. They've got a small selection of beers and cocktails that will hit the spot when you're looking for a casual place to watch football or play trivia. I recommend the floradora cocktail or tipsy Texan. Also the fries are delicious

Yelp
Great cocktails and little entertainment area for live bands. Love the Korean style chicken sandwich and when they offer bbq.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place but the kitchen closed an hour earlier than listed on the website and a draft of Pearl Snap is $8, which is not incentive to hang out and drink there. Edit: Thank you for responding, Matt. I was there last night and double checked the kitchen hours on the website today before posting and it still showed 10pm. I see now it's been changed to 9pm. The bartender didn't even know the kitchen now closes at 9 as she let me order but someone from the kitchen came out and told her, so it seems like a very recent change. I totally understand fair wages but I'm still not paying more than $5 a beer to hang out.

Yelp
The wings and fried pickles here are great! The Korean chicken sandwich could have used more coleslaw, and I really think it should come with fries or coleslaw on the side.... The chicken in my sandwich was not very big. Didn't get drinks this time but I heard the drinks were good here too.

Yelp
I was devastated to see Smokin' Beauty go as I loved the vietnamese/bbq fusion menu, drinks and live music. But then I learned that Walnut Creek Pub is a rebranding from the same owner so I decided to check it out. The ambience is pretty much the same-intimate and divey. There are bar games like a table version of the ring game, jenga and cornhole (outside) for patrons to enjou. One of the bartenders, Daniel, was very friendly and welcoming. He also filled us in and answered a lot of the questions that we had about the new place. I dreamed out loud if there could be a secret menu of food items from the previous restaurant (I'm imagining the brisket and pork belly banh mis, king fries, brussel sprouts...yum!) but as of right now there aren't any plans for that. Daniel explained that the owner is now going more for a bar feel than a restaurant to standout amongst the other establishments in the area, which makes sense. He also added that the owner is still passionate about bbq so they plan to have special events where they will host bbqs. (Stay tuned on their fb page!) I'm local to this area, so as much as I'm sad to see a delicious and unique concept for a restaurant go, I'm pleased that there is a new local watering hole that provides new options aside from the Domain. The service is friendly and the food menu is small, but done well, which I appreciate from any restaurant. In terms of food, I must have been on a cheese kick because I ordered the fried mac & cheese and the cheese curds. Both were similar and delicious but I preferred cheese curds overall because the mac and cheese retained their heat in the center for a longer time which made them difficult to enjoy. They came with a tangy sweet and sour sauce that had a little bit of a kick. For drinks we had the Guava Sutra, Floradora and Tipsy Texan. They were all good but on a cold winter night, the Tipsy Texan with its cranberry and ginger ale flavor was a standout. Happy hour is from 4-7 so make sure to check this place out when you're looking to get out of the house for a chill evening!

Yelp
BEST WINGS IN TOWN!!! I love this hole in the wall. I didn't want to leave a review in fear it will get too busy. But they are so friendly and amazing. had too.

Yelp
Stopped in to check out Walnut Creek Pub on a Wed night and they had trivia which started at 7pm. Fun vibe and definitely chill bar scene. We signed up for their text messages, the deal at the moment is 50¢ wings when you sign up (up to 10 wings). We ordered some drinks and practically ordered all their wing flavors as a table. Everything was pretty good, buffalo hot could have been hotter, but flavor was there. I enjoyed their lemon pepper the best. Spicy cheese curds and fried pickles were great- not sure what dipping sauce that came with the pickles was, but I loved it. It had a good kick. Will return soon!

Yelp
New neighborhood bar, that checks off all the boxes. Really good, crispy wings with yummy flavors. Probably the best lemon pepper wings that we've found in Austin so far. Most places either miss the mark with the lemon flavor or just do not include enough seasoning. This place does it right, with the perfect amount of butter, salty, and zest. Chill space with decent bar games. Trivia on Wednesday. Darts. Tons of TVs with games playing. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Excellent cozy BBQ place to grab a bite and a pint. Cool spot to just hang out or watch some sports. Great drinks and some good food specials on occasion. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Be sure to subscribe to their text messages via their website or Facebook page or whatever for some nice deals randomly texted to you. One recent example was a chopped brisket sandwich for only $5 but the deal was for one Sunday only. The sandwiches was super delicious with lots of meat! The beers on tap usually agree with my tastes and one of the drafts is usually on special when I pop in randomly. The BBQ here is really good. Five stars even though the parking spaces are sometimes, but not always, limited during peak hours.

Yelp
Great people, better food and for Austin the drinks are reasonable 5-6 for a beer, 9-10 for most decent liquors. Anytime I'm in town, I have to stop by.

Yelp
I'm hesitant to write a 5 star review because I don't want this place to blow up. But the truth is this might be the best bar in austin. Incredible bar food. Strong drinks. All fair priced. Easy ordering and great service. The bartenders will make you want to sit there all day. Plenty of TVs and always playing sports. Great place to bring a group of friends or just sit at the bar and make new ones. Truly a gem of a bar.

Yelp
The nachos were terrible!!!! I have no idea why it took them nearly 25 min to get the order out. The food menu is terrible. We won't be coming back

Yelp
The best spot to get good food and friendly service. Just all around the best spot to hang!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Great place to eat some good food. Wings were hot and cooked perfect. Fried pickles and fries were tasty and crunchy. Service was on point. Will be back for sure.

Yelp
Food is pretty good, owners are awesome. This is a good little neighborhood bar, I'll be going back.

Yelp
So nice to finally have a decent place for booze & bites to visit in the Walnut Creek area. Recommend stopping by to sit inside or out and enjoy some fried goods and chicken sandwiches.

Bailey Y.

Yelp
Great service!! QR codes on tables make it super easy to order and pay. Limited menu but the food is sooo good, highly recommend the Korean chicken sandwich

Sherri G.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. I will order again. And again. And again. Keep doing what you do so well, Walnut Creek Pub.
