Girlfriend and I wanted to try new takeout so we were excited to take a chance at trying a new place! Wan Wang has now become our new favorite restaurant! My girlfriend had the Chicken Finger and Crab Rangoon white rice combo and I went with Orange Chicken one of my favorites since childhood. When we received our food we even received a full page menu stapled to the bag which right away we felt cared about and excited to get to the food and see the physical menu! We opened up our to go food and saw the food was filled up to the top and it was nice and steaming! We agreed both of our rices were fluffy and the chicken in both were nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside like a true pan fried cook! I was happy to see our rice was shining with natural color cuz I prefer stir fry style rice over fried with oil, seasoning, or msg loaded. It was some of the best rice I’ve ever had! It reminds me when my mom would spend as long as an hour making homemade stir fry rice! Beef teriyaki sticks are nice and thick and juicy tender some of the best as well! Crab Rangoon are good and more on the mild cream cheese tasting side, not too sweet, and medium light heaviness! We agree this is some of the best and most fresh Asian food we’ve ever had and we hope to order again soon! : ] Ordered again on 6/18 and wanted to try an upscale sushi so got the Mt. Fuji roll and got some spare ribs cuz the beef teriyaki was the best I’ve had and I wasn’t disappointed with the bbq ribs either! They also gave me a full container! Sushi roll craftsmanship and overall taste was super nice! None of the sushi flavors were overpowering and it had the sticky fluffy pillow consistency that sushi should have! Very happy again! Thanks Wan Wang! I really recommend the orange chicken it’s not too sweet and not too spicy more natural style, Hunan or Singapore noodles is a good dry heat dish if you want something with less sauce, and the spare ribs, shrimp tempura or shrimp dumplings, and sushi rolls have been delicious! Everything I’ve had has been good!

Went for paint night / date night with my girl and I wish I could remember who our waitress was (her name) because she was flat out amazing. The food was tasty and paint night was pretty fun. First time I'd ever tried my Bob Ross skills.

Note to myself for the next time. I normally come here for the crab rangoon and chicken terriyaki but today i was dissapointed. Im already not happy about spending $11 for 4 pieces of chicken terriyaki but they were super skimpy today and barely had any meat on them. They were more like what you would get at a run down buffet, versus and over priced, nicer restaurant. They had about half the amount of meat on each of them compared to what they usually give. Also, idk if they over cooked the crab rangoon or if they were old or they changed the wraps and the filling they usually use but they simply werent good. The crab rangoon are usually yellow and light, today they were dark and had some white stuff on it and the wrap seemed a lot thicker. They just werent good. The staff is nice though. Im kind of glad though that I was dissapointed with the food today bc I wont be craving it again and tempted to come back.

I brought my wife, mom and aunt last night and we had the best time sitting at the sushi bar. You need to understand, my mom and aunt are very difficult to please when going out to eat. They absolutely LOVED it!!! The drinks were refreshing, the sushi was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back. 5 stars, just a memorable dinner experience. Thank you!!!

Google
Overpriced and did not live up to expectations. Ordered the Pad Thai, Salt and Pepper Jumbo Shrimp app, and Chicken Ramen Noodle Bowl. Pad Thai - very acidic. All you taste is vinegar - flavor was awful but it was a good portion of food. Salt and Pepper Jumbo Shimp App - If you are considering this and looking at the price (about $20) and thinking to yourself, "That's a lot of money for an appetizer, there must be a good portion of shrimp to make it worth the money" do NOT be fooled. We got about 8 pieces of REGULAR sized shrimp and it was NOT salt and pepper shrimp. It was fried shrimp with a spicy red pepper sauce on top of lettuce. It was tasty - but not what was expected and NOT worth the money. I would not spend more than $8 on this app. Ramen - flavor was good, portion was good, but still overpriced. There were only 4 slivers of what looked like canned chicken in the entire meal. Overall, we paid $60 for this meal and were not satisfied by anything. Would never order from this place again.

Google
Placed a take out order of three traditional Chinese favorites-Home Style Bean Curd, Kung Pao chicken and Szechuan beef. Food was authentic and delicious. Each was amply served and included rice. We'll be back.

Yelp
My son in law brought Me here for dinner and then painting The food was delicious I got the Shanghai fried pan. It was fried noodles with chicken, beef, pork and vegetables in a delicious sauce. I also had the traditional Chinese appetizer. That was also delicious. I got a scorpion bowl to drink. We also got the teriyaki beef. Cooked to perfection. The waitress was helpful in answering all our questions about different foods. She was very friendly and accommodating. The place was on the older side but appeared to be clean. Restroom was very clean. They held a wine and paint night in the back of the place. We had so much fun painting a cardinal in a winter theme. We came from CT to Worcester MA for this dinner because it has the reputation of being the best Chinese food. I have to agree it was the best authentic food I have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend, it is worth the trip.

Yelp
I have seen mixed reviews for this place so when my friend wanted to give it a try I was up for it. Disclaimer: Chinese food is not my expertise. I eat it 1-2 times per year. Atmosphere: this restaurant is really spacious! There is a big bar when you walk in and lots of booths / seating in the back. The decor was typical for a Chinese restaurant. There was a TV by our booth. Parking: Spacious lot behind the restaurant which is great for its location on Park Ave Service: Average. Waitress was fine. Not bad, not great. Food: Entree doesn't come with rice; for the amount you pay this should be included. Sesame chicken and lo mein was average. Mochi was awful, tasted freezer burnt and was crystalized like it had been sitting for months. Summary: I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here but if you're looking for an average dining experience for Chinese food this place is fine. Don't bother with dessert.

Yelp
The booths are very private and nice looking. Thwaitress was nice but to a certain point. Meaning if you complain that something isn't right about your meal. She definitely wasn't trying to make it right. We ordered a basic pupu platter for two. Egg rolls were ok,shrimp tempura was good, beef teriyaki was very good, crab rangoons were good, chicken wings were ok,chicken fingers were meh and tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Plus a couple were as hard as fortune cookies. The worst of everything on the pupu platter WAS THE BONELESS LEATHER SPARE RIBS. OMG!! They were TRASH!!! They were dry and flavorless. I tried one or two and i spit it out. They tasted like one or two day old. The worst boneless spare ribs i have ever had. We tried to tell the waitress but she shut us down by saying "when i first brought it you, should have told me" well we didn't tasted them yet or i would have. She had no care to attempt to fix the problem. So we basically 86 those. I put those with the chicken wing bones. Overall from 1 to 10 i rate this place a luke warm 7. On here 2 stars. I would have gave 3 if the waitress cared. I did leave a video to show the hard chicken fingers and dry flavorless boneless leather ribs. Smh

Yelp
I ordered spicy yellow tail, tuna and salmon. This doesn't even have spicy mayo. Looks like someone squirt sriracha on 1 of them. The fried rice isn't even fried! This is white rice with sauce on top! I'm very disappointed! I've eaten here plenty of times and food was delicious. I guess when you order to go they don't care as much....

Yelp
Food amazing, great service, chill staff and fun jukebox! The owners are such friendly folks

Yelp
We came here after hearing our favorite place Sake Bomb closed a few months ago. It's owned by the same people. This does not compare at all. I love crab rangoons and these were so of the worse ones I've had. The wonton wrappers tasted old and the filling was terrible. We ordered an appetizer of chicken fingers with the rest of our food and they never arrived. Luckily, they weren't on the bill, either. The sesame chicken was by far, the best item we ordered. Even our picky 2 year old loved it. We got the pineapple fried rice and it was pretty good. I didn't care for the taste of the shrimp that was included though. The service was okay. Our waitress was nice enough but disappeared towards the end of our meal so we were waiting around for the bill. It does have parking in the back of the building, which was nice. I might be back to try some other items. At least it has good sesame chicken!

Yelp
Kenny, Joanne, and family work very hard to provide the best food, drinks, and service! We have been long time customers since their first location Kenichi and will be forever customers. Order a grey goose mai tai, some spicy wings, crab Rangoon's, and house fried rice and your life will forever be changed HAHA!

Yelp
My friend and I wanted to try a new Chinese place in Worcester and we came across this place. We decided to get takeout and it wasn't too badly priced for all the food we got. We ordered an appetizer of spicy crab Rangoons which were pretty good, but we had trouble finding whether they put jalapeños in them or not. We ordered vegetable lo mein and upon returning home, we discovered that they gave us the the lo mein full of different types of meat, which was a little disappointing. It was just alright - the noodles were good, but didn't love the different meats. My general tso's chicken was a tiny bit chewy and sweet, but it was pretty good other than that. Chicken and broccoli was fair, found some pieces of chicken to be inedible (chewy/tough), but overall it was decent. To be nitpicking, there was way too much garlic in the dish which is not standard nor specified in the menu description. We thought the spicy Thai noodles were a little bland, so I'm glad I asked for some chili oil on the side to make it a bit spicier / more flavorful. To be fair, I have really high standards as to what good quality Chinese food is since I grew up eating at the better, more upscale Chinese restaurants back in Connecticut. Overall, the experience was decent.

Yelp
So unorganised Food ok but ordered 2 things and they got I chicken And next food after 2 hours

Yelp
Pad Thai was delicious. But chow fun is oily and almost tasteless. Miso Ramen is ok. Tempura mixture was awesome.

Yelp
Huge selection, great drinks, large servings at this pan Asian restaurant. Both things I tried were great, though the pork in broth was the best. Highly recommend checking it out!

Yelp
How this place was voted as "Best Chinese restaurant" in Worcester is beyond me. I imagine it may be due in part to votes from the boisterous drinking crowd at 2PM when I went to pick up my order? I really wanted to give this place a good review so I've tried the food here a few times and the best I can say is it was underwhelming. Most of the food literally has no taste. The fried rice could possibly be the worst that I've had in Worcester, and that's even after dousing it with a bit of soy sauce. The combo #1 was, well, edible. The chicken wings were not what I expected, basically just leathery deep fried plain wings. I don't plan on ordering from here again. There are just way too many places in Worcester that have better offerings.

Yelp
We really wanted sushi for our business lunch. I looked at pics inside and in person it is pretty inside. The outside was a little dumpy looking. The food here is very good and beautifully presented. We ordered a couple apps and sushi. The crab avocado salad is fresh and flavorful with a little crunch! The sushi rolls are HUGE and presented on platters. We will be returning!
google avatar

Kenny D.

Yelp
The Mongolian chicken is a bit devoid of flavor and not my favorite rendition of the dish, but the kung pao chicken is very good. It is well seasoned with tender morsels of chicken - and not the fried breaded chicken pieces you sometimes get at Chinese food restaurants. I will definitely return for this meal in the near future.

Yelp
Wanted to like this place. Rice was equivalent to what Sake Bomb used to be before they changed the recipe. Volcano roll was delicious, as were spicy Rangoon. Spicy fried chicken was so so as was service. My absolute BIGGEST complaint was that there were so few people here but one large party of SUPER drunks. Ruined our meal and, after speaking to the server a couple of times- they agreed that these people couldn't be reined in. PISS POOR EXCUSE for the rest of us trying to enjoy a meal. Most likely will not be returning.

Yelp
April 23. Early Evening. Never mind Egg Foo Yong, Chicken Lo Mein, Chicken with cashew, egg rolls. Where to start? I ordered in person in a crowded entryway where the handicapped access lift was blocked off. The cutting board for the sushi bar looked like it hadn't been cleaned and disinfected for 'awhile' The food, even though I waited for it and drove straight home, was Luke warm at best. As for flavor and texture: Egg roll; thick heavy pastry- little filling. Egg Foo Yong: while the pancake was puffy, it lacked flavor. The sauce: catsup based and Luke warm. Chicken cashew? overcooked chicken with few cashews. No fortune cookie included with order. We won't be back.

Yelp
Nancy Chang's use to be our go to Chinese restaurant in Worcester but not anymore. Having dined at the Wan Wang many times now I can tell you they are the best. Our most recent experience was on Christmas Eve. We had reservations for 4, and despite a very busy evening we were seated promptly upon arrival. Drink orders were taken quickly and our server immediately brought 4 waters to the table, our drinks arrived soon after. We started with two different Maki Rolls, The Pink Lady and Caterpillar Maki along with an order of Spicy Crab Rangoon. Both rolls were delicious and gorgeously presented on a multi level wood set of steps. The Pink Lady was the surprise hit.... All 4 of us agreed. Another reviewer complained the Spicy Rangoon's to be bland with no jalepeno, perhaps the kitchen messed up and gave them regular ones because I can assure you, ours were quite flavorful and had just the right amount of heat. My daughter who is quite the afficiando of Spicy foods, both Asian and Mexican enjoyed them fully and noted the distinct flavor of the Jalepeno! On my recommendation, my daughter ordered the Ramen Noodle Soup with Pork Belly, and asked for spicy broth. She absolutely loved it. If you enjoy an authentic Ramen Noodle Soup you've got to try it at the Wan Wang. My wife and I split an order of Mongolian Sizzling Beef and an order of Pork Egg Foo Young.... first, the EFY.... absolutely delicious, the Wan changes up the usual luscious brown gravy and kicks it up with what I believe is something similar to a peanut sauce. Really really delicious, and just different enough to make it memorable. The Sizzling Beef was out of this world! Perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth tender with a delicious sauce. Served along a side of plain white rice, we used the rice as a bed and pilled the Sizzling Beef on top. Delish! Even though it was a very busy night and like every other business around, they are running very short staffed, the crew at the Wan still managed to provide pretty dam good service. To be critical, the one and only hicup of the evening was the delay of time from when my daughter and her boyfriend were served their main course ( they both ordered the Ramen Noodle Soup) to when my wife and I were served our meal. The owners wife, passing by the table noticed this and quickly went to kitchen, we were presented our dishes very quickly after that. I've enjoyed the Wan Wang many times now, good friendly service, owners who obviously take pride in what the do, great food, excellent sushi... Maybe not the absolute best in the city, but right up there near the top. Fair food and drink prices and a great atmosphere. I fully recommend the Wan Wang! Jim / Worcester

Yelp
SALT. That's pretty much the overwhelming flavor here. Spicy chicken fingers? Dusted heavily with salt. Dry cooked string beans? Cooked in soy sauce, then dusted with salt. Dry diced chicken? Tastes like it was dry-cooked in salt, then packed in salt for take-out. The dumplings weren't anything I couldn't get in the freezer section of the Asian supermarket. I also ordered online for a later pickup, and my food was ice cold when I got home. Very disappointing. I won't be back.

Melissa W.

Yelp
Plus the Food was hot !!! - not much flavor the tea was horrible! ! The beef lo mein was ok -- We have never been and would not go back! Service was good- she was nice!
google avatar

Bailey S.

Yelp
Terrible food. I got vegetable fried rice and there was literally five pieces of broccoli and no other veggies. The rice was bland, unflavored, and a bad texture. My partner got the sweet and sour chicken and said "it tastes like McDonald's". Overall bad experience and bad food.
google avatar

Christina T.

Yelp
Cute little hole in the wall, food is really good we have the Kani salads, sushi, Chinese vegetable dinner and their ramen all exceeded expectations'!
google avatar

David Y.

Yelp
Took my mother out to lunch and boy was I not disappointed. Food was amazing, server was polite, food came quick, definitely going back!!

Nancy G.

Yelp
This place does not care about the customers dietary needs. The hostess was very rude and refused to serve our needs.
google avatar

Nicky R.

Yelp
The only difference between this place and the Ho Toy is the atmosphere, Mai Tai's still suck, food is palatable but nothing special and the clientele are still stiff from 20 years ago. Renovations left it looking like an Asian McDonald's.
google avatar

Corey C.

Yelp
My expectations for this place was pretty low considering the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything tasted. We went here because we heard they had soup dumplings and we are obsessed with them. The soup dumplings were tiny and more expensive than what you would get for bigger and better quality in Boston or NYC. But they were still good and it's nice to know that there's a place we can go in town that has them. They note that they are listed on the menu as juicy pork bun. My fish bowl drink was perfect. Usually at a Chinese restaurant it has way too much booze in it that I'm unable to drink it but this went down with ease. My bf and friends got the sushi and the presentation was really cool. I personally don't eat sushi but they said it was very good. I got chicken pad Thai knowing not to expect authentic Thai food. And, I was correct. It did not taste like authentic pad Thai but it was still a very good meal. I was planning to get one of their Szechuan dishes that I viewed on their website since the positive reviews I read did suggest to try those dishes but they did not have those dishes on the menu. Also, the waitress was super attentive and great!! All in all we were happy with our evening at Wan Wang. We would definitely go back.
google avatar

Linda T.

Yelp
Came here and got the Wan Wang Platter (basically a pu-pu platter) consisting of egg rolls, chicken fingers, crab Rangoons, beef teriyaki sticks and the spareribs. I think the best thing about the platter was definitely the spare ribs because they were super juicy, not dry at all and definitely something I would order more of. This is the same owners as Kenichi's on Shrewsbury St. so I was pretty stoked to try it. They have a huge selection of food ranging from your typical Chinese dishes to even ramen noodles. Will def be back to try the ramen noodles. Their staff was very friendly and attentive, thank you!
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
I ordered the eel donburi and was so disappointed upon its arrival. There was a giant mound of white rice with only 5 pieces of SLICED eel. The ratio was so off!! I was left with a mound of rice after finishing my eel. The takoyaki was missing sauce and bonito flakes!! It was just plain balls...
google avatar

Marc E.

Yelp
I went there today for the lunch buffet. I got there a few minutes after they opened at noon. I was quite disappointed with the selections that they had. The hot and sour soup could have had a bit more of vinegar as it wasn't sour at all. It was really the only hot thing in the buffet. Everything else was either cold to lukewarm. They had a few appetizers, a too sweet General Tso's chicken, vegetable lo mien, vegetable fried rice, and a couple of other unimpressive something's. With how expensive a restaurant this is, you would think that they would put out a decent and tasty selection. I would give them a minus half a star. I won't be going back again and will tell my friends about my experience there.

Eric S.

Yelp
Kenny and his wife are hard workers with smiles. Food is excellent, and the bar is always a treat. Ask for a Mai Tai! The Wan Wang Platter is great and I've even ordered off of the authentic Chinese menu - Black Fungus - excellent!
google avatar

Anne M.

Yelp
I never went to Ho Toy when it was open. I've only gotten takeout from here so far. I thought it was great. For as big and diverse as Worcester is the Chinese sucks in the city. This place has been really good so far. Everything has been fresh. No dry rice or food that tastes like it's been cooked in old grease. The chicken and broccoli is great and in a brown sauce not the gross clear looking sauce that looks super unappetizing. I used to really like Nancy Chang's but in the last couple years they've taken a nose dive and the girls that answer the phone are complete snots. I hope that this place keeps up the quality! Very pleasedso far.
google avatar

Katie K.

Yelp
Beautiful interior remodel of the old Ho Toy. Service was very good. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating!!! A few kinks probably need to be worked out being such a new restaurant. However, the food was amazing! We had all Chinese entrees. But they have a large menu including Japanese hibachi, Ramen and rice bowls. There are lots of vegetarian selections. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of parking in the back. I'm looking forward to our next visit and trying the Ramen.
google avatar

Danielan D.

Yelp
I was iffy about this place at first because of the location, but my friends & I decided to try it today and honestly, it wasn't bad at all. We got the Wan Wang platter and it was delicious! Red ribs were so juicy. Majority of places make it dry so it was very pleasing to have a great plate. Beef teriyaki stick was very good, the meat fell right off in one bite didn't have to tug on it or anything. We also got the beef chow fan; it was tasty, but it had a bit too much garlic & onions for my liking. We will be coming back to try the ramen and other things on the menu. The bathroom was also very clean and presentable.
google avatar

Aliya-Marie M.

Yelp
I came here when they first opened and ordered the Miso Ramen with chicken instead of pork, and Spicy Crab Ragoons. The crab ragoons were not spicy at all. The ramen was served in a large bowl but a small portion. The noodles were flavorless and the broth was basic. I have never finished a bowl of ramen I have ordered from a restaurant, and I cleaned that bowl out. The chicken was also undercooked and I felt the effects immediately I went back a second time a few months after opening, hoping that they would have gotten it together. This time I ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen. It came out in the same large bowl with such a small serving and I ate all of it in about 10 minutes. The broth was not at all spicy, but it was good. I had to order a side of chili oil and dump the entire ramekin in my dish to get it to be a little spicy. The chicken looked cooked, but it most definitely was not. What really got me was that this small portion of food was $17.95!!!! Can you believe it?!?! What a shame. I can assure you I will not be going back. If you choose to eat there, be careful. Salmonella is alive and real. Maybe their other menu items are good, but whatever you do, DO NOT order any chicken ramen.
google avatar

Drew S.

Yelp
If you love fried rice, this is your spot. Honestly one of the best fried rice I've ever had, if not the best. Sushi is good too... well priced. Would recommend when getting Chinese food
google avatar

Selly R.

Yelp
The Ramen tasted awful. I haven't tried any other item besides the ramen and edamame. The edamame didn't taste fresh compared to other places I've had. The Ramen could have had more flavor and the beef wasn't the greatest. It tasted off so I couldn't eat it.

G D.

Yelp
They serve soup dumplings!!! It may be the only place in town that does, they call it "juicy pork buns" on the menu but it is the same thing. The skin is very thin. The real appeal of this place is their Szechuan menu though. I highly highly recommend that you stick to that menu and don't bother with the typical chinese-American takeout options. I think Red Pepper finally has a worthwhile competitor in town.
google avatar

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Went there for lunch. A buffet was advertised but when we got there was told that they didn't have it. I was pretty bummed out about that so we ordered some apps and a lunch special. The fooD was great! Really makes me wish they had the buffet so I could of tried more without such a high cost. The foot came out hot and very timely. You can tell it was freshly made as well! The atmosphere is so different compared to when it was the previous owners. The new owners took pride in this and you can tell! I'll be returning again. Reason for 4 stars was because of the advertised lunch buffet that wasn't available

Yelp
We were really wary of coming here with its current rating. We were more than pleasantly surprised. I haven't been in that building in close to 30 years. They have completely redone it. You walk in and up a couple of steps to a truly warm, inviting dining area. We went for ramen and whatever else we saw that we wanted to try. The ramen looked amazing, though I didn't have any, my husband loved it. The right balance of heat to the subtle pork broth. We also ordered a scallion pancake. This was hands down the best one I have ever had. Nothing like what you get in most restaurants - fried to death or dense. This was delicate, salty, and well layered, with enough scallions to know what you were eating. I ordered the chicken with green beans and ginger. I will order this next time without the chicken only because I prefer just the vegetables. The chicken itself is delicious. Our wait-person, Kim, was super friendly and helpful. I am so glad we found a place nearby with good, authentic Chinese/Asian food.

Yelp
Great service with great food! The male host (maybe the owner) immediately greeted us at the door and sat us at our table. He was friendly and welcoming.. We ordered 2 scorpion bowls, a tuna roll, snow maki roll, and salt and pepper shrimps. The scorpion bowls are delicious!! If we didn't have to drive an hour and a half back into Boston, we would've probably ordered another round. Their snow maki roll is very different from regular snow mountain rolls although their descriptions are almost identical, but still really good. We also had attentive staff and great service. Large spot with a ton of bar seating and regular seating. They have TVs everywhere to watch the game from. They also have a large projector in the back which is convenient to watch the games or for a large table/party. Also, bathrooms are super clean and modern. They have street parking and/or a parking lot that they share with other businesses, but super easy to find free parking! I highly recommend checking out this hole in the wall. Great spot and affordable! You can't beat it!

Matthew M.

Yelp
I am not sure why this place gets bad ratings from people. This is our favorite spot in Worcester for Szechwan food (definitely be sure to explore that menu, I think it is the absolute must when visiting--you may need to ask for the menu). Is it "authentic"? No idea. Is it unbelievably tasty--undeniably it is. The dry fried string beans and twice cooked pork are the mainstays of what my wife and I order, but a lot of other really good things are on the authentic menu. Service has always been great as well. We've ordered sushi, and its been good (as has the ramen--it fills the craving you have), but the go-to for us is the Szechwan menu. Good alcoholic drink selection and a relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
Ramen noodle and juicy bun dumpling were a hit and everything else we tried were so delicious ! Wonderful staffs and great service ! Can't wait to return back ! High recommended !

Yelp
I don't post reviews often, but I am telling you, Wan Wangs is legit the best Chinese food. do yourself a favor and get some food. everything is always spot on and quality ingredients. fried rice is so fresh and can't get enough. dumplings, beef teriyaki, spicy fried wings!!, gyudon bowl, chicken w string beans and ginger , sizzling Mongolian beef. oh man, it goes on and on. plus don't get me started on the mai tais... which is the sponsor of this message.

Joe R.

Yelp
Always a great time here, a wide selection of drinks and food, and the most friendly staff. I highly suggest giving this place a try!

Yelp
I thought Wan Wang would be a new elevated Chinese food option serving amazing authentic dishes I crave for such as mala style foods and Sichuan cuisine however, I found their menu to be just your average Americanized Chinese with added variety like ramen, which actually does look promising, based off some pictures. Inside, feels a bit dated although this is a newly renovated restaurant. We ordered Mongolian Beef, General Tso's Chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken with Crab Rangoons to start and they all lacked in flavor, I felt. Even the duck sauce wasn't giving me much taste, no matter how much I drown my Crab Rangoon in it. I actually feel as if some MSG was needed for the entree dishes! One good thing is that their portions are enormous which is a plus for eating family style. The service wasn't bad but wasn't great, non-engaging and a bit slow. To the say least, I wasn't impressed. Hopefully they improve down the line, but I will definitely be willing to come back again for the lunch buffet and maybe some ramen.

Yelp
Unfortunately 0* isn't an option. Server was nice, but I could find better cuisine out of a dumpster in the slums. Ordered "country style crispy pork belly" and they remade the dish because they forgot to add the pork belly the first time. When the meal was finally served, I gained experience as a surgeon by digging through a whole head of cabbage to find 6 thin dry pieces of pork belly that had no flavor. For $15 that cabbage must have been the most high end cabbage the world has ever seen. The only thing that really stinks is I'm going to have to taste the one bite I had again once I vomit, but hopefully that will make it taste better.

Yelp
What a disappointing meal, ordered the pork belly bun and when picking it up I could tell right away that it was some store bought dough which they couldn't even microwave completely because of how cold it felt in my hands, and how wet the bottom of the bun was. Next the crab rangoons the plate had oil all over it and the taste of the rangoons was like it was left out and they just decided to toss it in old oil just to heat it up, then came my main course of stir fried pork belly, the server came out to tell us that he was sorry about the wait because the "chef" forgot to add in the pork belly, and when it finally arrived I looked into the dish and found 7-10 pieces of thin, dry pork belly. The only reason I'm putting this one star down is because of the server. He could tell that my group was disappointed with the meals that we had received.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite restaurant in Worcester. They have different variety of foods from authentic Chinese food ( includes Szechuan Spicy foods) to ramens with rich both and freshly cooked meat. The restaurant also has great customer service. The staffs are friendly, attentive, and quick to take care of customer's needs.
