Green Sea Shells Mag: Wellness by KK

Google
We’ve been to Wanderlust Creamery in Venice several times now—it’s right next to Floyd’s on Lincoln—and it never disappoints. Every visit feels like a small adventure because the flavors are so unique and constantly rotating. You won’t find your standard vanilla-chocolate options here. This time, we tried something new again (as we always do), and it was as inventive and delicious as ever. The place has been around for a while and has a fun, relaxed vibe that fits right into Venice. If you’re into ice cream that’s a little out of the ordinary—think globally inspired flavors done really well—it’s definitely worth the stop.

Visited this creamery after partaking the sights of Santa Monica pier. This is a nice ice cream spot. Unique large swinging front door opens you up to a nicely decorated interior. The flavors are diverse and I like how they show the ingredients and where the flavor originates from. Friendly employee served us. Ample seating arrangements. Parking looks like on busy days it could get scarce as there's a barber shop right next to the creamery. Nice experience.

Google
One of the best ice cream spots in LA! They have so many options and the best part is so all are inspired by different countries. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I tried a range of different flavors but went with the Sticky rice + Mango and Smoky road (dark chocolate). Would definitely recommend visiting and definitely coming back!

Google
The local ice cream chain in Los Angeles is known for their assortment of delicious flavors with lots of vegan options and 6 flavors that change every month. This specific location is one of my favorites. They have 3 parking spots out front and a parking lot in the back. The store design located inside of a garage are really nice with plenty of seating and fun geometric wood panel designs. The staff member is super kind and helpful in helping choose flavors and like other locations, offers metal tasting spoons for samples.

Google
Great place to stop for dessert after your meal. Locally made ice creams with great flavors. Parking is sparse up front there is some street parking. There's a bathroom inside if you need it. I had some Thai ice cream that was really good I would go back. The ice cream people were super cool and very friendly!

Google
Definitely a great place if you want some ice cream near the beach. Highly recommend

Google
Absolutely and unequivocally the best. We were fortunate enough to come during Filipino Heritage Month and got to savor all the great tropical tastes of the Philippines. The quality of the dairy and firmness of the ice cream is a testament to its goodness. If you are here for the first time, try the ube (pronounced ooh-bay) which is a purple yam. Think of sweet potato flavor but more with a coconut vibe. You can also taste all the available flavors.

Google
I've seen this for a while, and today was the day I tried it with my six year old kid. So today was the day, and I forgot the name of the one I had, but it was very tasty. It's not bad for a kids' scoop, and a regular scoop comes up to 13 bucks. I will be back again.

Yelp
Came again! & still great ice cream! The flavors are so unique and full of real flavors. Flavors ordered: Pistachio & sticky, rice, mango 10/10 : incredibly delicious together. Mango & sticky rice is incredibly JUST like having the real thing. How do they get the flavor just right! naniomo bar & kinder 8.5/10: great flavors & incredibly tasty together. Overall this might be my go to spot of a craving of yummy ice cream! The servers were kind and the ambiance is always welcoming. The shop is always clean and has lots of seating areas!

Yelp
I loveeee Asian inspired ice creams and Wanderlust does it so well with their plentiful options! My favorite one to get is their Japanese Neopolitan (5/5) since it comes with three flavors in one which makes it seem like I get to try even more options! This comes with their matcha green tea base, and swirls of their sakura pink ice cream which gives a sweet, floral taste, and their Hokkaido vanilla. Hokkaido milk is amazing... I also got their Black Sesame Cookies and Cream (5/5) which was so nutty, creamy, and had chunks of Oreos in it. I love the consistency of their ice cream base where it's always so thick and creamy!

Yelp
California has a lot of great ice cream shops, and it can be difficult to stand out. Wanderlust didn't quite stand out, but it was very good. quality ice cream with interesting flavors that borrow from "ethnic" cuisines. Pandan flavoring in the pandan tres leches was a bit light on the pandan flavor. I would like something that is less subtle. same can be said for the ube flavoring in the ube malted crunch. good, but i want more ube flavor. I think my favorite was the black sesame cookies and cream. finally, a full dose of black sesame flavor!

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite ice cream place! I go back every month to try the seasonal flavors. This was my first time in this location! It is definitely a bigger location. There is space to eat inside. However, very limited parking. Maybe only parking spot in the front. I called ahead of time to make sure they had brown butter sans rival! My absolute favorite flavor. They told me they had all the seasonal flavors in stock! I was able to sample a lot! The servers were very patient and made me feel comfortable to take my time. I was initially going to order 2 scoops in a cone. However, they told us their waffle cone machine is broken :( that was the only downer. I love the waffle cone! So I ended up taking 2 pints home!

Yelp
FLAVOR (5/5): Sampled a good amount of their flavors and so many of them are yummy! I ended up getting their Japanese Neapolitan which was matcha, sakura and hokkaido mix and it really did remind me of Japan! I paired it with black sesame cookies and creams two of my all time favorite flavors blended into one! Even their hand made cone was crumbly in a good way, not too sweet and paired well with the ice cream. Lots of their monthly flavors were already sold out by the time we got there. INSTAGRAM WORTHY (5/5): This location has almost a garage like feeling to it, huge swivel door and lots of room on the inside. The interior is also airy and has posters of their ice cream flavors of the world displayed! SERVICE (5/5): There was only one worker when we went but she was super patient with us wanting to sample so many flavors since it was our first time here! TAKEAWAYS: Wish we had one closer to San Jose, loved their unique flavors inspired by different realms of the world. Would come back again to try their other flavors!

Yelp
The Asian-infused ice cream flavors selections offered by multiple ice cream parlors in LA always get me hooked. Wanderlust has been one of the long well-known ones with some of their iconic all-time options, such as Ube Malted Crunch, Matcha, or Black Sesame. They sometimes kind of rotate the combo of those flavors such as they used to have Japanese Neapolitan featuring Matcha, Hojicha, and Black Sesame while it is now Matcha, Vanilla, and Sakura. My fave is their Ube Malted Crunch which is doubtlessly Filipino inspired. They do offer some limited-edition rotating monthly flavors. Recently I tried their Konggaru and Kyoho Grape Jelly which was called as Korean American PBJ, featuring toasted soybean ice cream with kyoho grapes jam; certainly a unique one to explore. Another one was Vietnamese Rocky Road, which as expected Vietnamese coffee ice cream, combined with sweet touch from condensed milk marshmallow and caramelized cacao nibs. Perfect one when you're coffee lover and fancy something not too sweet. Another one for caffeine's hunter would potentially be their milk coffee jelly. If you're into black sesame for your dessert, the cookies and cream black sesame might be your cup of tea. Or for more adventurous option probably mango sticky rice? As you wish, they offered free samples so you could definitely try before deciding which to order. The attendants were very helpful offering recommendations as well. I used to go to either their Fairfax or Sawtelle outlets and recently figured out they had one in Venice, whose space was even way bigger and nicer to accommodate bigger groups. Best deal was surely their Tasting Trio, offering 3 smaller scoops but giving the option to go for 3 different flavors and honestly speaking they're definitely not small small! Psstttt. They offered this on the price of Single until July 31 in honor of National Ice Cream Day! Thank me later ;)

Yelp
I think this is my new favorite wanderlust location in Southern California besides the Irvine location Food, well that speaks for itself, service also speaks for itself and ambience was like a food hall with lots of seating and lots of light coming through. Always worth coming here to visit and trying out the different flavored ice creams

Yelp
This location was so cute! Definitely one of their larger, if not largest, locations. Parking is basically street only unless you're lucky to park in the limited spots in their lot. Came here for some dessert after dinner and got a split scoop. The staff are friendly, as always, and our ice cream was delicious!

Yelp
If you're looking for interesting flavors and a mix of regular and nondairy options to please a variety of tastes, then this ice cream shop is a great option if you're around Venice Beach! It's a spacious shop off of Lincoln near Whole Foods, it's not my most walkable area but they have parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and helpful scoopers. Their flavors are labeled for allergens, so it's easy to follow dietary restrictions. I like to try whatever dairy free flavors they have at the time, which changes whenever I'm in town.

Yelp
Wanderlust Creamery is a gem for ice cream enthusiasts seeking unique flavors, a charming atmosphere, and a taste of the world. It boasts a rotating selection of over 24 unique ice cream flavors, inspired by international destinations and unexpected ingredients. I find this particular location to be bright, colorful, and inviting. On my visit just before Christmas I got the trio in a cup with two of the signature flavors namely, the Ube Malted Crunch and Japanese Neapolitan, and the December special which was the champagne truffle. I was more keen on trying the seasonal flavors but unfortunately, two of the flavors I was interested with were already sold out so I was kind of bummed about it.
google avatar

Yelp
Wanderlust is one of my favorite ice cream places in LA, mostly because of their diverse and unique flavors. The names of the flavors already invite intrigue, but the tastes are even more appealing. I'm always interested in their new and seasonal flavors. Per usual, the Wanderlust servers were nice and helpful in shedding light on the different flavors. My goal is to get something different every time, and I've not yet been disappointed. This time I got a split cup of the jasmine milk tea with boba and the ispahan (lychee ice cream freckled w rose-infused valrhona raspberry chocolate)...a wonderful pairing. This was my first time at this Venice location, which was a little tough to find (maybe because it was dark and rainy). It looks like a converted car garage, but surprisingly there was very limited parking out front. Inside, however, was very spacious with tons of seating to just hang out and chill.

Yelp
5 stars for flavors and ice cream. 3 stars for service. The worker just seemed done for the day (we did come around 10pm haha). He gave us samples but looked like he just wanted to go home haha There was a girl who replaced him and she was so enthusiastic and sweet! We thought to ourselves, dang we wish she took our order haha I ended up doing a split scoop of Black Sesame Cookies & Cream and Sticky Rice + Mango. Both flavors were delicious! Loved the creaminess of the black sesame flavor but the real special bites were the bites with cookies n cream clusters. The clusters were SO GOOD. Enjoyed the Sticky Rice + Mango flavor. It was refreshing! It was not as creamy in texture but it is vegan so that makes sense. Had a bite of the Pistacchio Puro flavor and OMG. I thought it was the BEST pistachio ice cream I've ever had. I don't always gravitate towards pistachio ice cream, but man oh man was that good! Love the unique combinations and love all the Asian flavors!
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
I love the overall concept of wanderlust - different flavors = different cultures. Not much parking but there is some lots in the front of the store. The interior here is nicer than the one closer to UCLA
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
Kinder 5 hazelnut Ube Malted Crunch 3 sweet purple yam Violet marshmallow 2 fluffy subtle marshmallow taste, not flavorful Irish Stout & Cream 2 chocolate
google avatar

Dave H.

Yelp
Although this place lacks a personal touch, with all orders placed with a touch screen, the unique flavors are rotated on a monthly basis with a few standards available all year long. Love that you can try multiple flavors with there 2 and 3 mini scoop samplers. The burnt butter cone is decadent. All the ice cream flavors are rich and creamy. Definitely heads and shoulder above your typical chain ice cream store (e.g. 31 flavors). If you something sweet and unique this is the place to go.
google avatar

Janice L.

Yelp
This is my favorite ice cream place in LA! Love both your everyday offerings and many of the monthly special ones. But Wanderlust please bring back the malt ball chunks in the Malted Ube ice cream! It's just not the same
google avatar

Vi D.

Yelp
I really, really, really love that this place is open later than the other ice cream shops. Flavor options are limited, but I ordered three scoops, and I liked the flavors I chose. Also lots of vegan options (sorbet). It's a time of night that I went, parking was not a problem at all. They have a few spots in their lot and there was street parking on the same block.
google avatar

Kislev A.

Yelp
Gotta get a move on if you want any of the monthly flavors. Parking in Venice is always a challenge. Lincoln Ave is especially busy. Doesn't seem to matter what day of the week of what time of the day it is. The people more than makes up for that though. Perfect ice cream in a perfect location - so close to the beach.

Yelp
The good: I came with a birthday gift card. The flavors here are adventurous, innovative, creative and span the entire globe! I am a sucker for interesting and new ice cream flavors. Ice cream is hands down my favorite dessert and Wanderlust keeps you on your toes with their edgy flavors. I tried six flavors: Vietnamese rocky road, gin, guava tres leches, pistachio, Earl grey, and orange blossom halva. I love the layout and vibe of this Wanderlust most compared to the other 3 locations I've been. The cashier and kitchen area is giant and is open in the middle. There are communal tables and a very open and modern cafe-feel to the space. The entrance door is ginormous and swivels open. The bathroom door blends in with the wooden wall feature and is hidden. It was super interesting how the gin ice cream tasted just like the alcohol without actually having alcohol. The bad: There's limited parking. The ice creams all tasted just okay. I feel like it could be creamier, stretchier or slightly more flavorful. The interesting: They rotate their flavors and have new and festive creations all of the time! They once had a medovik flavor that I missed out on. I hope they bring that back! I've tried over 15 flavors at this point and I think the most interesting one I had was the Vietnamese che Thai because the taste was spot on!
google avatar

Carolyn M.

Yelp
Still a great location as there's usually parking spots around the barber shop. Staff here recently had such great service I wanted to up my rating. Pinoy American history month brought me here last weekend and I love supporting my fellow brown businesses. Not to mention flavors are always amazing!
google avatar

Sayaka S.

Yelp
Wanderlust is by far my favorite ice cream shop! I've been waiting for unique ice cream flavors, especially Asian inspired, so when I first discovered them I was beyond excited. And let me tell you...their flavors do not disappoint!! Every month I look forward to seeing their new seasonal flavors but the classics are also so good and hard to forget. The service is impeccable as well. They don't get make you feel guilty about sampling multiple flavors cause trust me, there's so much you want to try. Also, it's a small shop but there is inside seating. If you haven't tried this spot, IT'S A MUST!
google avatar

Shanelle S.

Yelp
Ice cream shop with flavors inspired by different countries. My friend who was visiting LA absolutely loves this place, so we came here after dinner for a sweet treat. Some indoor tables are available as well as a couple of outdoor seats. You order/pay first and then get your ice cream. Credit cards accepted. They have a self-service water dispenser in the right hand side of the counter. They do give samples. Service is a bit terse but efficient. There's a small parking lot available as well as street parking. They have a regular menu as well as rotating flavors. Vegan flavors available. I had the ube malted crunch (a classic) and the burnt honey hojicha (seasonal). The yuzu creamsicle was a rotating flavor but if you see it, get it for a refreshing, light flavor. The abuelita malted crunch is another good option from the set menu for when you're feeling something heavier.
google avatar

Monika B.

Yelp
Came here on a weekday. Ordered a scoop of Pandan and Ube on a cone. The service was quick. Staff was pleasant. The scoop presentation and colors are instagrammable. The ice cream textures were grainy and a bit icy. This could've been the flavors I chose or bottom of the tub scoops due to popularity. I am more of a creamy, smooth ice cream texture person. I would recommend coming to this chain at least once, to try out their flavors.
google avatar

Chloe K.

Yelp
SO good same as the one in sawtelle but the server was grumpy lmao. prob will always go to sawtelle more !
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Unlike some of the smaller Wanderlust locations, this one has a few parking spots plus ample (well, greater than zero) both indoor and outdoor seating. It's actually pretty spacious inside and overall quite enjoyable if you like the flavors that Wanderlust does. Service is efficient although if you get a line in front of you that likes sampling, there might be a wait.

Yelp
Three of us stopped in for a first visit, to celebrate a birthday. We all had the vegan passion fruit caco and chocolate pepermint stick, and YUM. Absolutely delicious and the gentlemen that served us 5 stars. Friendly and easy going, great options, and a smart interior.
google avatar

Erin K.

Yelp
So many unique flavors! Wanderlust is full of interesting flavors of ice cream I guarantee you have never tried before, such as Mango Sticky Rice and Yuzu Creamsicle. There were over 20 flavor options, 5 of which were vegan!! A huge plus! I ordered the Passionfruit Cacao (vegan) and it was delicious. Not too sweet, and creamy enough that it felt like true ice cream. I ordered marshmallows as a topping, and was given a teeny cup of lucky charms rainbow marshmallows for $1. I wish I had know they would not be classic marshmallows before I had ordered. There were also no real chocolate options for toppings, which my friend would've enjoyed with the Hokey Pokey flavor (sweet cream and honeycomb). Lastly, the spoons were more like sample spoons. I'm happy they were biodegradable, but would've preferred a larger spoon to enjoy my ice cream.
google avatar

Linda Y.

Yelp
There are a couple parking spots in front of the store but they are usually taken so street parking is recommended. I loved my visit the lady that was working was very helpful in helping me choose a flavor. We came before a big rush of people so it was nice! The flavors are not your basic average flavors. I loved the passion fruit one with the orange flavored one! The store is huge and is very neat!
google avatar

Nadia J.

Yelp
Hidden gem! Ari (the ice cream expert) was very nice and offered many samples ... tried - Kinder, Japanese Neapolitan, Wanderlust Vanilla, and Smokey Road. Next time, I need to come earlier to try a waffle cone! Cute spot for a quick treat during the day or night cap.
google avatar

Bess S.

Yelp
Wanderlust is easily my favorite ice cream spot! I have been going there for years. What sets them apart is their concept of showcasing and rotating seasonal flavors from around the world every month. It's such an amazing way for us to discover new flavors and learn about a new culture and history. Being Asian myself, I love that this month is Filipino American History Month! :D I tried the Halo Halo ice cream and they nailed it. My personal top flavors are (and have been for years): the Ube Malted Crunch and Vietnamese Rocky Road, though I've been loving the Ube one more lately. I went there recently on Tuesday 10/3/23 in the evening and we parked in their small lot, though I'm sure finding parking earlier in the day or on the weekend may be tougher. There were 2 people ahead of us, it was pretty dead at night. If there was one area for improvement that I could suggest is that the staff seemed a bit unenthusiastic. But that still didn't prevent me from enjoying delicious ice cream.
google avatar

Irene Q.

Yelp
My favorite treat is ice cream from Wanderlust. The flavors are unique, and send you to different adventures each visit. To celebrate LNY, I got the White Rabbit. It taste just like the White Rabbit candy, subtle in flavor and not too sweet. I also got the Vietnamese Rocky Road and Pandan Tres Leches. Enjoyed them all! Service was friendly, accommodating and helpful. We always love a service with a smile. Ambiance was cute and simple. They added a large community table inside, which is great for windy nights like tonight. Overall, a great experience every time I come here. Can't wait to try the other seasonal flavors.
google avatar

Kat A.

Yelp
Always love going to Wanderlust! Love that they have so many flavors to choose from and such unique flavors. The ice cream is truly creamy and so satisfying. Favorite flavors: ube malted crunch and sticky rice mango Service is awesome as they let you try samples and they try not to rush your decision making. Definitely could have a better layout inside with tables that are more inviting and maybe play some music too. Needs more seating!
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Best ice cream I've ever had (so far lol!). During our weekend trip to LA, this place was not to be missed! We came in 15 minutes before they open. We were like hawks waiting for the gates to open. The theme for October was Filipino American Heritage Month! We also ordered the regulars in the menu. (Seasona Flavors) Turon, Kalamansi, Sans Rival, Halo-Halo, Sapin-Sapin, Sampaguita, Mango/Keso | The ice creams were incredibly creamy and smooth. They nailed all of these flavors. So much childhood memories while enjoying every bite! We could not describe how much these flavors brought joy to us! Menu: They have regular flavors as well as seasonal flavors. Bring back the Around the World Flight please! We wanted to taste all of them! Some of the flavors were available in pint containers, too! Service: The employee was very patient lol! It took us quite a while to decide the flavors for each flight cup. Parking: Limited. There were only about 4 free parking spots to the front of the store. Highly Recommend!
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
The flavor selection is amazing. I've tried a few of them and 80% interested me. One suggestion. Just get the waffles cup. And more importantly, don't eat it like a cup, eat it like a cone. Hold the edge of the cup and eat them with ice cream inside. You will know what I mean. This place a must try.
google avatar

Rose Lyn C.

Yelp
Okay, I love this place. This isn't my favorite location because the parking situation isn't great (I think there's maybe 2ish? parking spots there and the rest is street parking) but my general approach to life is that if I'm anywhere near Wanderlust, I should just go get myself some because I'll regret not getting their ice cream later. They change flavors seasonally and take you on a trip around the world. The ingredients are great. In October I had the sapin sapin and sans ribal. Phenomenal. This location is cute and has some outdoor tables. When I went on a Saturday, this location wasn't too crowded - got our ice cream with minimal wait.

Yelp
This Wanderlust Creamery location is my favorite! Legit, my favorite ice cream shop in Los Angeles. Jeni who? Salt and what? I've been to a few locations, but like this one in particular for a couple of reasons. They have a parking lot (always appreciated in LA) plus several tables & benches outside for dining. These are both big wins in my book allowing this Venice location to lead the Wanderlust pack. Some of my favorites that are consistently good: -Ube Malted Crunch. I love Ube everything so unsurprisingly, this is a flavor I love. The malted balls do add an interesting little texture in the ice cream I enjoy. I don't need them but also don't mind them. -Abuelita Malted Crunch. Another bias going into this one because I've always loved Abuelita chocolate for my hot chocolate. Great flavor with that little signature kick to it. A very minor kick though, you'll be fine. -Gianduja. Cacao with hazlenut has this tasting like a very popular bumpy chocolate that rhymes with Guerrero Mocher. Obsessed with this chocolate. My favorite flavor of theirs. -Hokey Pokey. I think this flavor may be more seasonal but it's soooo good. A soft & creamy sweet cream ice cream with hints of honeycomb throughout. Nomz! I love that you can get a three half scoops to try a bunch of flavors at once! Highly recommend Wanderlust Creamery!
google avatar

Cassie T.

Yelp
My most recent visit to Wanderlust Creamery was such a pleasant way to end the day! My friends and I got to sample a few flavors and loved so many. The lady working behind the counter had such vibrant energy, dancing and singing with some other customers who came with the same vibe. The three of us got split single scoops; my order had a Pandan waffle cone cup that housed the Sticky Rice & Mango flavor with seasonal Bridgetown Coconut & Tamarind Caramel flavor for Black History Month. Delicious ice cream and a wonderful atmosphere? Absolutely perfect! P.S. I do wish they made a vegan Pandan Tres Leches flavor because I would gobble that up! (Hint: flavor suggestion)

Yelp
Y'all scared to be single, ICECREAM (ill scream) if I have to be in another pointless relationship. Wanderlust has INTERESTINGG flavors, i believe they were featured in a Try Guys video before. Some Asian influences , some European influences. .:: Flavor of the Day ::. *able to try samples as of 1/2022 amidst COVID* Split single $6.50 with cone $1.50 Kinder: roasted hazelnut ice cream, gianduja freckle valrhona "carmelized perals" crunchy hazelnut praline. Gives a nutella feels due to the hazelnut Hokey Pokey: Sweet ice cream studded with house made crunchy honeycomb candy. a good enough sweet where it keeps you coming back for more .:: Service / Ambiance / Parking ::. The person was nice, no attitude give while we asked for samples. The place is pretty big, the double swinging doors was a super cool concept Parking lot is quite small but avail street parking.

Yelp
Love their flavor offering! It's definitely unique and caters well to Asian taste buds lol. We went back two nights in a row in July and then two days in a row in August (twice in Venice and twice in Sawtelle, but since Venice was where we tried it first, I'll leave my review here. I do like the Venice location better too). We ubereats a pint over to the hotel lol. My favorite = Japanese Neopolitan Second = Ube Malted Crunch/Pandan Tres Leches I do really like the seasonal flavors too (Pa Amb Xocolata & Amalfi Pear Torte in August). We can choose a single scoop OR 2 half scoops for the same price. 3-flavor-split single scoop is slightly more expensive, but worth it if you are interested in multiple flavors. If you want a pint of ice cream as souvenir, they do have bags that'll help keep it cold for ~20 minutes IF you pull one out from the fridge (aka not freshly scooped into the container.) Note - it seems their Sawtelle location has a bit more options compared to the Venice location, but I think only the Venice one has Ramune flavor.

Yelp
Delicious and creative flavors! Love how each flavor is inspired by a different country and is thoroughly explained in the mini descriptions. I personally love the Japanese Neapolitan and Vietnamese Rocky Road. My only critique is that it's quite pricey considering the portions are on the smaller side. However, still worth trying and I go back whenever I visit home.

Yelp
Such unique flavors and high quality ice cream! I am still reminiscing of the ice cream here it was so good. We came around 8pm on a weeknight and it wasn't too busy but there was also only one person working so we had to wait a bit before getting our ice cream. No worries though, as there were so many flavors to look through that I had a tough time deciding what to get. I ended up deciding to get a double scoop split into 4 flavors so I could maximize the number of different flavors I tried. I chose the mango sticky rice, ube malted crunch, japanese neopolitan, and vietnamese rocky road. They were all so spot on in terms of replicating the real deal! The mango sticky rice tasted exactly like the dessert and the ube was super strong with nice crunchy malted milk balls. The japanese neopolitan had matcha, hojicha, and black sesame but I mainly tasted the matcha. I also loved the vietnamese rocky road which had a really strong coffee taste and yummy add-ins. I would highly highly recommend coming here to try their ice cream! It's so worth it and I would absolutely come back if only I lived closer :")

Yelp
Very unique and tasty flavors. Best part was the associate was patient and encouraging everyone to try different flavors explaining the nuances with good detail. He had a great energy and was very personable to interact with. Kudos to the guy who served us. Didn't get his name.

Yelp
Simply put, great icecream, tons of great flavors, and they even have monthly flavors that change. I can not express how much I love their honey lavender flavor, super rich in flavor and worth the money.

Yelp
Wanderlust is one of my favorite ice cream spots in LA! They specialize in Asian flavors but also have flavors from all around the world. My favorites are the mango sticky rice, the ube malted crunch, and pandan tres leches! Each month they have new seasonal flavors that you can try as well. If you are indecisive like me, you can get a split scoop without an extra charge. The portions are a little bit small though. The hanging lights around the store front are super aesthetic at night. There is also outdoor seating and limited parking.

Yelp
Very good flavors, tiny portions and spoons. The service was quick thankfully and they allowed us to try the flavors. With so many ice cream options nowadays, I'm not sure if I would try this spot again, but we wanted to try something new.

Yelp
Finally tried Wanderlust last night after years of wanting to. The ice cream was delicious and unique and was definitely worth the wait. I got the ube malted crunch & pandan ice cream on an ube waffle cone. You couldn't really taste the ube in the cone, but the ice cream was so yummy. Service wise, the workers were nice and gave out as many samples as we desired. Ambiance wise, the store is super cute, small, and aesthetically pleasing. I can't wait to come back to Wanderlust in the future!

Yelp
Friendly staff and nicely decorated space. Ice cream is delicious and innovative. Some of the flavors take me back home. I got the trio with pandan tres leches, ube, and mango sticky rice. I couldn't decide so I thought I'd try the ones that sound good and familiar, and they didn't disappoint. I loved all of them. My favorite would be the tres leches with ribbons of condensed milk. Cute merchandise too. Flavors are pretty nostalgic to me having consumed countless ube ice cream in my adolescent years.

Yelp
What a fantastical imagination this ice cream chef has! Unconventional flavor combinations that take inspiration from far-flung places, especially Asia. My favorite was the vegan gianduja. Heaven! I didn't want it to end. I think the most creative ingredient mix was the Japanese one with matcha, sesame and another type of tea. While the texture of the ice cream had a few air bubbles here and there, the depth of flavor was incredible. They're also very generous with samples which always gets extra points from me!!
