"Everybody Wang Cho'ng tonight!"
I've been to this spot a few times with my friend AA, and it's clear why it's his go-to for AYCE KBBQ. He's at Wang Cho Korean BBQ almost weekly, so much that I'm pretty sure the staff know him by name - HA! I joke but I'm sure it's true.
Since this place is like a second home for AA, I let him take the lead on both the ordering and the grilling for us.

Wang Cho Korean BBQ delivers a solid Korean BBQ. The all-you-can-eat option offers a wide selection of meats, including beef brisket, short ribs, and pork belly, all of which come well-marinated and flavorful. The meat quality is good for the price, though some cuts could be a little fresher at times.

The banchan (side dishes) are generous, with kimchi, pickled radishes, and a nice variety of vegetables. While the variety isn't overwhelming, they complement the BBQ well, adding a balance of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors to the meal.

One standout aspect of Wang Cho is the great service. The staff are quick to refill banchan and drinks and replace grills before they get too charred - an important detail that makes the dining experience more enjoyable. (The last AYCE Korean BBQ place that AA and I went to, wasn't so diligent in replacing the grill and he made note of it.) The restaurant gets busy, especially on weekends, but the servers still manage to stay on top of things without making you feel rushed.

The atmosphere is lively and loud, which is to be expected in a Korean BBQ joint, but it may not be the best spot if you're looking for an intimate or quiet dinner. It's a great place for groups, especially since they have larger tables that can accommodate parties easily.
Pricing is fair for what you get, though the premium menu is definitely worth the few extra dollars if you're a fan of more specialty meats like galbi or rib-eye.
Overall, Wang Cho is a solid pick if you're craving some KBBQ in Orange County. The food, service, and ambiance make it a fun spot for a casual night out with friends or family, especially if you're ready to indulge in some serious BBQ feasting!
I'm looking forward to the next time we return.
