The 15 Best Korean Barbecue Restaurants in Orange County | Eater LA

"If looking for an affordably priced all-you-can-eat experience, family-owned Wang Cho has it covered. Though the restaurant started in Chino over 10 years ago, it has since opened another location in Santa Ana near Southcoast Plaza. Even with three distinct AYCE tiers to choose from, each comes with over 20 meat options. The most commonly ordered cuts are the Angus beef brisket, marinated beef bulgogi, and the LA short ribs. The flavorful marinades stand out in particular, with options like basil pork belly, smoked honey barbecue chicken, and rosemary spicy shrimp." - Cathy Park

If you’re looking for top-tier Korean BBQ and world-class service, this is it you’re in the right spot! 🔥🥩 Everything was perfect the grill 🔥, the flavors 😋, the ambiance ✨. And Tiffany? She’s a rockstar 🌟💯 So professional and friendly. She made sure our table had everything before we even asked 🙌🍽️. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
I recently visited Wang Cho All You Can Eat Korean BBQ, and I can't stop raving about it! The food was incredibly delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The all-you-can-eat concept was fantastic, allowing me to sample a little bit of everything. However, what truly stood out was the service. The staff at Wang Cho went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The service was absolutely the best I've ever experienced. Overall, I highly recommend Wang Cho All You Can Eat Korean BBQ for not only the mouthwatering food but also for the exceptional service that truly elevates the dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon!

Google
You can always count on Wang Cho for great service! I've been here a few times and almost every time I find myself amazed by the service. My party of 4 came on a Sunday at opening and we NEVER had to flag anyone down during our meal. The servers continuously asked us if we needed anything, changed our grills, checked up on us. IT WAS AMAZING! They were also so quick and didn't forget a single thing. The meats here are great as well but the main star is the BEEF BELLY! Really great beef belly. Tried a few of the other meats which were also good but the beef belly was the best. Had a great time and I'll definitely be back! I love the Yelp waitlist option as well :)

Google
By far the best Korean BBQ in Orange County. My husband and I have been coming here since we got married. We tried other ones but the flavor of the food does not compare, neither does the prices. Also want to shout out the amazing customer service by the servers. They are so attentive and awesome at what they do! I recommend the beef bulgogi, beef belly and spicy tofu soup! The food is very fresh and flavorful! Great job! Keep up the good work!

Our waitress had a bad attitude and ignored us whenever we reminded her about things she kept forgetting — like refills, a drink, and a bowl of rice for one of our party of six. Even though we clearly told her we were six, she only brought drinks, rice bowls, and utensils for five people. Despite paying for the all-you-can-eat prince package, she got visibly annoyed when we ordered. Everyone at our table noticed her attitude, which made the whole dinner feel uncomfortable and rushed. At times, it felt like she didn’t want to assist us. We’re hispanic, and while I can’t say for sure if that influenced anything, it’s worth mentioning that others have had similar experiences. We were also left with a grill that was off and not heating by the time our meat tray was brought out and we began cooking it. Our server didn’t seem to realize since she was quick to leave. So we had to wait for her to pass us by and flag her down just to get her attention and have her turn it on. After bringing out our food, she rarely came back to check on us. She did not check in to see if we wanted more sides, drinks, or checked if we wanted more meat. Thankfully, a busboy stepped in and was far more attentive and polite. He truly made our experience a little better. A 17% gratuity is automatically added despite the poor service. We paid $290 for a dinner that made us feel like a burden and completely ignored, not worth it. The reviews don’t lie.

Service was great lots of food options. I would go again

Google
Great place for an AYCE Korean BBQ. We came in a group of 4 (+1 baby) and ordered the King menu for each of us. I recommended the first 9 items. They were really good. Garlic butter shrimps, tofu stew, and steamed egg were on point. House noodle soup was also very tasty, as well as corn cheese. Assorted vegetables were also very fresh. The only thing I disliked was rice soup. It was very plain, like basically just roasted rice with boiled water. The service was fast. Staff were nice and helpful. They moved fast, served fast and cleaned fast, too. I would recommend this place if you like Korean BBQ and AYCE.

Google
Wang Cho is a great spot for AYCE Korean BBQ! The location is convenient, parking is easy and wait time is fairly brief each time we walk in for dinners! The staff are gracious and attentive, the meat selection is generous and the prices are reasonable! It’s among our favorites in the South Coast Metro area. Check it out!

Yelp
It's huge inside. The vents working on the pan made it so that you don't walk away smelling awful. Food was plentiful but I don't have other experienced to compare this to an ayce. The service was excellent. I prob wouldn't come back unless I was in the area, hungry and needed ayce kbbq.

Yelp
What we got on a Wednesday night with the prince menu: Baby octopus (5/5) Popcorn chicken (1/5) Banchan (cucumbers, japchae, rice paper, kimchi, bean sprouts, mac salad, green salad) Brisket (2/5) Spicy brisket (4/5) Garlic pork belly (4/5) House soup (1/5) Service was quick, grill was changed frequently, and multiple employees checked in with us which was great! We really liked the baby octopus because it was fresh, succulent, and soft. However, the popcorn chicken was very disappointing because it looked like Costco chicken nuggets drizzled with sauce. The house soup wasn't good either, the broth was one dimensional and underwhelming. Maybe I would give this place another try to try the other items, but the house soup and the popcorn chicken were definitely a miss. The plain brisket was so dry, we asked for the spicy sauce to make it better. The other meat options were definitely solid and I feel like it was all worth it for the AYCE price

Yelp
I only come to this location because of the fantastic service provided by Andrew and the other associates. The restaurant is clean and spacious for large parties, as I have been here multiple times with anywhere between 4-12 people, and they have always been able to accommodate without any issues. If you make a reservation, it's also nice that they follow up to confirm that you will not be making any changes to the upcoming reservation which helps serve as a friendly reminder of your RSVP. The associates are quick and efficient, yet extremely friendly and helped explain any questions we had with the menu. The brisket is on point and it's the one protein I can never get tired of when it's done correctly. The sides are plentiful, as they have the standard rice or radish paper, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, japchae, and macaroni salad. Our favorite meat options include the non-marinated short rib and steak, although you may need to elect for a higher tier selection in order to order those items. The pricing is very fair for the sheer amount of food selection you are given and I'm a fan of the consistency. Looking forward to returning with another group in the near future!

Yelp
The moment we walked through the door service was provided quickly, with a smile, inquiring how large are party was. We had a party of 8 and the hostess was able to find two tables together and sat us promptly. The first waitress (I think was Luna) was very friendly and was able to answer all questions we had. She did an amazing job ensuring our food was correctly ordered. We had the all you can eat "Prince" level (which was more than enough food for us. The other tiers were "King" & "Emperor" (something along those lines) with the last having an option for Angus Steak. Our grill was changed out frequently to ensure the grill was clean and able to cook meat at proper temperature levels. Had to take our kid to restroom and restrooms were clean and acceptable to use. Overall would go back to this place for another meal in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Everyone hyped this place up to me, however it was average to me. If I go to KBBQ, I'll just make the drive to Westminster and Garden Grove. It is very nice and modern inside, can't lie about that. I came here for dinner and ordered the Prince Menu. It had a good amount of meats and sides. The service could use work. I felt my server was the only one working in a large area by herself, so service was not as attentive as I am used to. The meats were decent, could use some seasoning or flavor. To me, the stab of the meats was the garlic pork belly and spicy beef belly. My food came out before water which was different. Overall this is a one and done place for me. Overall experience to include food is 3/5.

Yelp
Service is fast pace, come early this place gets busy quickly, we came for dinner and it was busy, but we got lucky waited 5 minutes or so. Make sure to use Yelp to get on waitlist, helps out! The staff is nice and very attentive, as they pass your tables, tons of side dishes, upscale Korean bbq and huge restaurant. They have inside and patio seating too, and different tons of meat options as well.
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
We ordered the King $38/pp level and it had a nice selection of meats, seafood, and sides. My favorites were the marinated short ribs (Kalbi), beef belly and beef tongue. The shrimp with garlic butter was also really good. It's actually my friend's favorite item. He said his meal is not complete without it! We also enjoyed the banchan, fluffy steamed egg, and corn cheese. The service was very good with so many grill changes and constant ordering of additional meats. I wish there was free dessert included, but you can purchase ice cream at the front.
google avatar

Myra J.

Yelp
The quality of meat and seafood here is amazing! We did the king dining option and tried all kinds of the options. We had squid, brisket, beef tongue, shrimp, and short rib. They were all delicious and we got them numerous times. We couldn't stop!! The service was very fast and we only waited 5 minutes before we were seated. It was very busy too which meant it was going to be good. And it was!! Delicious AYCE kbbq!! Loved it here!

Yelp
been here plenty of times before lately maybe in 2023/24 and ifl the meat quality has gone down a bit. However Cannot go wrong with brisket or beef belly, bulgogi. One thing they are known for is their honey marinates. Really love the honey bbq pork belly. Meat quality and sides: 3/5. Taste was okay a bit on the blander side but large selection and can top w salt/sauce. Service: 5/5. You are in and out and always attended. I never once had to call our server over bc they always checked in/refilled drinks/took our orders. Top tier service, and very minimal wait for a Saturday evening (5mins). Price is also quite fair compared to others starts at $33. Interior: 4/5 nice interior modern and on par w other kbbq restraunts. Would have been cool if they had like K-pop vids playing or something but they had football on lolz Anyways quick reliable and fairly affordable kbbq spot that satisfies the craving of Korean food. Would come again forshure.

Yelp
Convenient kbbq in Santa Ana. Service is quick and efficient. Lots of meat selections. They do beer towers! Clean restrooms. 10/10.

Yelp
I've raved alone and going solo to festivals/shows is kind of a big deal for a lot of people. It's a little intimidating at first, so I get it, but tell me why getting KBBQ alone felt like more of a big deal to me lmao Anyway, I woke up Sunday morning with a mean KBBQ craving but had no one to go with. My sister isn't a fan of it, my parents only eat Canto and Viet food despite them telling me I'm the one that's apparently too picky, and my friends were busy. Wang Cho allows solo dining which is pretty rare, but also pretty awesome too. Food wise, everything was just average. Meat quality was average. Nothing more, nothing less. This goes for the banchan too. In fact, the whole experience just kind of felt like the bare minimum compared to everywhere else I've been. For $33 (Prince tier) I certainly did not feel like I was getting royal treatment. Jokes aside, it was pretty steep for mediocrity. Service was great so definitely zero complaints in that department. I had to switch tables because my grill was being a pain in the ass and they were nice about it. They were also cool about charging my Cardo (IYKYK) which was awesome because I wanted some tunes for my ride home. Unfortunately this isn't a place I would come back to. I'd rather hunt someone down to go eat KBBQ with so I can go to my usual spots for better quality, atmosphere, and cost. Bad news is that it looks like I'll have to continue my search for a good KBBQ place that allows solo diners. The good news is that I have an excuse to eat more KBBQ.

Yelp
Great priced ayce Korean bbq place near the south coast plaza mall. Great variety of meats and good service. One of the better all you can eat kbbq places in Orange County.
google avatar

Edward C.

Yelp
Amazing service! Honestly, didn't expect that given how busy they are. Outdoor seating was empty because it was a cool day, but inside was pretty full. However we were able to make last minute reservation adjustments. Food quality was pretty good at this price for AYCE. Beef belly, marinated short rib, beef tongue, and shrimp were all excellent!
google avatar

Erin Pepero L.

Yelp
service here is SPOT ON! They constantly checked on me and my boyfriend and changed our grill every time after we finished grilling a few rounds of meat. The meat quality is not the best, but was still enjoyable. Side dishes were also mediocre but they give a good amount of rice papers and salad :).
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
Wang Cho was a great place to visit to celebrate with a large party. The service and ambiance was top notch. The meats were okay, however. I wanted more from their banchan. With that said, they did a great job delivering the meats and requests within minutes. Bartender was amazing. Servers were all friendly and professional. They were very attentive which we enjoyed. Tofu stew wasn't worth getting again. Plenty of parking.
google avatar

Nathan D.

Yelp
The menu had a lot of options, with a wide variety of meats to choose from, but the sauces were a little lackluster and came in small dishes. The meat quality was decent but the service was a bit slow in terms of ordering because we had to flag someone down each time during the first hour. But, we were checked up on very regularly to see if we needed a grill change. The slow service at the start may have been due to the lack of customers at the time (went around 12pm) The layout was quite large and the booths were very comfy, so it made overall experience great.
google avatar

Rhina M.

Yelp
The food is always fresh and amazingly good. The service was to the top. Effiecient, friendly and very accommodating staff made it so worth coming back. The ambiance is clean and inviting. No pictures taken but I highly recommend the beef tongue, beef belly and beef finger. The spicy shrimp was ok but the rest were just worth every $. Will definitely come back although it's a bit of a drive for us.

Yelp
Wang Cho in Santa Ana has quickly become one of my favorite AYCE KBBQ spots! For the price and the quality of the meat, it's hard to beat. The restaurant is super spacious, which made it really comfortable for our family. On a busy Friday night we didn't even have to wait, and our baby was able to sit in her portable high chair with no issues. We went with the King combo, and every cut of meat we tried was absolutely delicious. What stood out just as much as the food was the service. The staff was amazing and constantly checking in to refill drinks, bring more sides, and making sure we never had to wait for anything. Between the quality, service, and space, this spot checks all the boxes. Definitely my new go-to KBBQ place moving forward!
google avatar

Alisha S.

Yelp
This is a solid spot for AYCE KBBQ near south coast plaza. Was seated right away on a Saturday evening. We did the prince option and loved everything we got, including the chicken which I usually am not a fan of at kbbq. Only thing is I wish there was a bar to make your own dipping sauces as many other places have. They give you a premade sauce which was still really good, but would enjoy the option to create my own. Service was great, they were always checking in on us
google avatar

Rish C.

Yelp
I was a bit skeptical coming to this spot as I saw quite a few one star reviews, but I thought I'd try it out since I didn't want to travel more than 5 miles for Korean bbq. Coming in, the hosts were very kind and they sat us right away. At the moment my partner is handicap and has issues with sitting on hard chairs so I felt bad requesting a booth, but they had accommodated us without making us feel guilty and all which I really appreciated. Our server was very nice too! He took our orders fairly quick and our meats were brought out instantly. I honestly loved the meats! The bulgogi had a lot of flavor, but I will say the brisket and steak didn't were kinda dry. I really needed to dip those ones in the sauces provided to us. But other than that, everything was great! I loved the corn cheese and the spicy tofu soup. It was so goood. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back at all if I'm in the area!
google avatar

Yelp
Wang Cho is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots around! My friends and coworkers always have such a great time eating here, it's our go-to for good food and good vibes. We especially love the brisket, marinated beef, and all the delicious sides that come with the meal. One thing I really appreciate is that they include rice and radish paper, which not every KBBQ place does. The service is always top-notch, the staff checks in often to refill drinks, restock sides, and make sure you've got all the meats you want. The ambiance is spacious and comfortable, and I love that they have built-in vents so you don't walk out smelling like BBQ. I've had some of my best memories here, amazing food, great company, and consistently excellent service!

Andrea C.

Yelp
The food was good, but last night me and my bf were the only ones that wouldn't be getting refills, asking if we were okay, anything to add, just regular customer service things, LOL not to mention our grill was never changed once ! i honestly wouldn't have been bothered so much but we literally heard and physically saw everyone around us getting helped out and talked to nicely, and there were 3 people working outside and they all would pass us, the couples near us would get there customer service frequently, as someone who works in the customer service environment i just found it completely rude
google avatar

Janette B.

Yelp
Their website says they close at midnight. We came on a Saturday night at 10pm, they told us last call in 10 minutes. We drove an hour to get here! Service was fast and efficient, however. Our server said they weren't busy this evening, so the "Manager" decided to close shop early. Hah! How about that. As we were still eating, the staff started cleaning up to close around us--mopping the floors, putting chairs on top of tables, and even having someone stand right next to our table, holding a mop! Clearly waiting for us to finish. So rude! We understand that every business has closing hours, but there's a way to handle it without making customers feel rushed or unwelcome. Instead of allowing us to enjoy our meal, we felt pressured to hurry up and leave. It completely ruined the experience, and we left feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied. They should have waited until after we were finished to begin cleanup. At least the section where all the other customers were. Sadly, this lack of courtesy and professionalism overshadowed everything else.
google avatar

Marisela S.

Yelp
We came here on a random whim, like saw it on the corner of the stoplight and flipped a U and came in and ate. For such a random spot we didn't know of, it was delicious! They had a pretty good variety of meats and chicken and sauces to try. They were busy and the staff wasn't as attentive as I would have liked, we ran out of water and waited a bit for the food, but overall it was a good experience and I would come back.
google avatar

Jenny P.

Yelp
I wouldn't say this is my favorite KBBQ spot, but it does the job! I came here with a group of friends, and we had a good time. The meat and side dishes were good, the servers were attentive, and the restaurant was very clean. Parking was also very easy. Definitely worth a try!
google avatar

Leslie L.

Yelp
Yummy food, fresh meat, quality service product and place all amazing. U get what u pay for
google avatar

Mimi V.

Yelp
Tried Wang Cho today and it was pretty underwhelming. The meat quality was just okay, sides were very minimal, and the soups and appetizers were basic. Customer service was good, but overall the food did not stand out. For the price, it felt expensive for what you get.
google avatar

Peter T.

Yelp
Meh, wasn't great but wasn't bad, I've had better AYCE KBBQ at other places. The service was good and the only thing memorable to me was the cheese corn.

R G.

Yelp
Visited for the 3rd time. Initially was trying to go to boiling crab around the corner, but the wait was too much. So the walk across the parking lot was worth it. Less than 10 minutes were seated and grilling our food. The honey bbq pork and bulgogi always a hit. Fast with the food and condiments. Doesn't smell like smoke and servers are nice.

Yelp
Fam Visit down to SoCal with a friend's rec for an early Father's Day lunch! Large 1st portions of beef belly, bulgogi, brisket etc... 2nd portions are normal. Also ordered corn cheese- yum green salad-no hype noodle soup(eh-lack of flavor) Steamed egg-good Newbies-Make sure if u order lunch special, that u get that price ($26) we were told to scan the QR code menu on table and ordered-not knowing it was gonna b the higher price! Explained and was adjusted- thank you! Clean restaurant! Clean bathrooms! All in all- we would return but would seek out other multitude of kbbq in SoCal.

Yelp
"Everybody Wang Cho'ng tonight!" I've been to this spot a few times with my friend AA, and it's clear why it's his go-to for AYCE KBBQ. He's at Wang Cho Korean BBQ almost weekly, so much that I'm pretty sure the staff know him by name - HA! I joke but I'm sure it's true. Since this place is like a second home for AA, I let him take the lead on both the ordering and the grilling for us. Photo - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ&start=504&select=lvcAQTXidN2VHQoRQXN2nA Wang Cho Korean BBQ delivers a solid Korean BBQ. The all-you-can-eat option offers a wide selection of meats, including beef brisket, short ribs, and pork belly, all of which come well-marinated and flavorful. The meat quality is good for the price, though some cuts could be a little fresher at times. Meats - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ&start=504&select=1OEFq2l7At0Ygue4cwEwFw The banchan (side dishes) are generous, with kimchi, pickled radishes, and a nice variety of vegetables. While the variety isn't overwhelming, they complement the BBQ well, adding a balance of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors to the meal. Banchan - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ&start=504&select=9pxF38GsIGG-yFIECEjlXA One standout aspect of Wang Cho is the great service. The staff are quick to refill banchan and drinks and replace grills before they get too charred - an important detail that makes the dining experience more enjoyable. (The last AYCE Korean BBQ place that AA and I went to, wasn't so diligent in replacing the grill and he made note of it.) The restaurant gets busy, especially on weekends, but the servers still manage to stay on top of things without making you feel rushed. Dipping sauces - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ&start=504&select=dJjEO1XbCDSAWDd_34_MCA The atmosphere is lively and loud, which is to be expected in a Korean BBQ joint, but it may not be the best spot if you're looking for an intimate or quiet dinner. It's a great place for groups, especially since they have larger tables that can accommodate parties easily. Pricing is fair for what you get, though the premium menu is definitely worth the few extra dollars if you're a fan of more specialty meats like galbi or rib-eye. Overall, Wang Cho is a solid pick if you're craving some KBBQ in Orange County. The food, service, and ambiance make it a fun spot for a casual night out with friends or family, especially if you're ready to indulge in some serious BBQ feasting! I'm looking forward to the next time we return. - Big Aloha! Food: 4 Ambiance: 4 Service: 5 Value: 4

Yelp
This Korean BBQ restaurant has delicious meats to choose from and cook from your table. The staff are friendly and always came up to us for more meats to cook. The vibes of this place is fun.
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
Is Wang Cho the best KBBQ? No. It does not have top quality meat, incredible banchan, a premium drink selection, or anything of the sort. It is merely decent at all of these. They are actually VERY good with their service and their pricing. But that's not what sets them apart. The number one unbeatable quality that Wang Cho has, above any other KBBQ in Orange County, is the sheer amount of seating. The place is so big that it is impossible to wait longer than 5-10 minutes for a table on a weekend night. You will never have to make a reservation here unless you are feeding a company of carnivorous soldiers. You could bring over 8 minivans full of starving teenagers from football practice and get seated in minutes. It doesn't matter. You bring your entire extended family and their +1s over and walk in. No more waiting 2 hours to get into Honey Pig or Mr BBQ or Gen KBBQ on short notice. Just drag everyone over here and don't worry about having to come up with an entire movie's worth of discussion to kill time. Just eat.

Brandon B.

Yelp
I don't go out to eat KBBQ very often anymore, but I came here with a large group of coworkers/friends, and it was wonderful! Our server's name was Jaswa, and he killed it! We were being especially rowdy and goofy, and he didn't seem to mind at all. In fact, he was super accommodating and chill! The food was really good too! Lotsa brisket for me, and beef tongue too! Whenever I go to KBBQ, I like to keep it simple, so I'm often ordering non-marinated meats, and going ham on unlimited sides as well! I especially like that thinly sliced pickled radish. Other notable goodies include the corn cheese, pork belly, and beef belly. We also got a steamed egg. Who doesn't love a steamed egg? It's fluffy, savory, somewhat sweet, and STEAMING hot. Those koreans really know how to keep hot food hot! Wang Cho? Go, bro!

K N.

Yelp
I usually like coming here for AYCE Korean bbq but this past Friday's experience was terrible. We got the king menu. The brisket was dry, beef tongue was cut so small that when cooked they shriveled to the size of a quarter, and the service was bad. We had to ask for our drink orders, ban chan, condiments, several times. I felt bad for our waitress. She was spread thin between all her tables. Then they charged 17% gratuity for our party of five. It's audacious of them to automatically charge tip after they under deliver on service. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure we will be coming back here again.

Yelp
Always love hitting this spot for ayce KBBQ. Service is attentive and the lowest tier menu serves us best. You will walk out smelling like bbq but that is a given.

Yelp
Happy birthday to me! I love some KBBQ for my birthday dinner and Wang Cho is our go to!! The restaurant is large inside with seating options all over for big or small parties. The menu is generous for the price, the service is fast and friendly, this place DOES IT RIGHT! The meat tastes fresh and seasoned perfectly. I really love coming here it is a great experience everytime. Thank you Wang Cho!

Yelp
On it's website, Wang Cho Korean BBQ states that it is "California's premier all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurant". In addition to this Santa Ana Store, there are locations in Chino and Riverside. The system is easy. They have three packages: the Prince, the King and the Emperor. Compared to the Prince, the King has a longer list of items to choose from; and the Emperor has a more robust selection than both the Prince and King. On this occasion, our group of three each chose the Prince (3 x $33.00). We also ordered a hot tea ($2.95), Sapporo draft ($7.00) and Coors Light bottle ($5.50). With tax ($10.58), our ticket was $125.03 before gratuity. We were provided with a good selection of banchan (side dishes). All of the banchan were "good" in both quality and taste, but nothing was particularly noteworthy. The thing I appreciated was the wide selection. The proteins ordered (beef, pork, chicken, octopus) was good quality; and the food was seasoned well, too. The store was well staffed. Getting a hold of someone to make an additional request was always easy. And someone came by regularly to exchange fresh griddle plates onto the BBQ. In short, the food was good; the service was very good; the environment was neat (clean); the exhaust fans worked really well.

Yelp
Went during lunch on a Saturday - and the service and food were impeccable. I highly recommend the Garlic Pork Belly and Rosemary shrimp - so be sure to eat like a King, and get the king menu Ambiance was pretty normal for a KBBQ place - but I have to say some of the best service I've ever had.

Yelp
This place was super good! This is also the first place where my clothes didnt smell like kbbq after I left!!! High quality meats and good service they were always checking up and offering grill change when it was time. All the meat felt super light and not greasy at all like some ayce places. The macaroon ice cream was also the perfect dessert to top it off. The inside felt super luxurious and clean. The air wasn't stuffy or anything and it felt really fresh inside. Will definitely be coming here again :)

Yelp
Some friends and I were in the mood for Korean BBQ and we usually go to another popular place but I discovered they got rid of all their live waitlists and we didn't feel like waiting an hour in line in the hot sun. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I searched for somewhere else to go and came across Wang Cho so we decided to give it a try. I appreciate any restaurant that has a live waitlist as nobody likes to wait a long time to eat. I was a little concerned that the waitlist said there was no wait when we were about to arrive at 6pm on a week night. We walked in and were seated immediately as it didn't look busy but it became a lot more busy over the next hour. The restaurant is spacious, has high ceilings, great ventilation, and the tables are spread out well. The restrooms are large and very clean. The All-You-Can-Eat menu has three different price levels and the higher priced options have more items available. We went for the King option which seemed like the sweet spot and $12 less expensive than that other place we usually go which has a regular and premium option but nothing in between. Banchan is served first including bean sprouts, pickled cucumbers, glass noodies, kimchi, macaroni salad, and regular salad. The King menu has 43 different food options and we ordered a lot of the meats and seafood. Everything was delicious and my favorites were the LA marinated short ribs, Angus beef brisket, beef bulgogi, Wang Cho steak, and garlic butter shrimp. Service was excellent and there was a whole team of servers bringing platters of new food, clearing away empty platters, putting in fresh grills, and refilling drinks in a friendly and timely manner. The amazing thing is that even when the restaurant got very busy, there was barely any smoke in the air. I usually come home from the other KBBQ place smelling like I have been standing over the grill all night but not here. Wang Cho really is a hidden gem and this is now our new regular KBBQ spot.

Yelp
tldr: YUM! AYCE KBBQ so yummy. We got here around 6pm on Thursday and there were plenty of tables open to seat our party of 5 immediately. Our servers were so good and the meat came out so fast. The plates were actually very cold and the meats were nice and solid because they were cold too. The servers were great in checking in with us to see if we needed to order any more and changed our grills several times. Your entire party has to order from the same menu, but the Prince which is the cheapest option at 33 per person was more than enough for both the meats and side dishes. Make sure you get some extra sesame oil, rice paper, radish paper! The bulgogi is nice and sweet. The garlic pork belly was a surprising favorite of mine. The beef belly was super thin and stuck to the grill so it was hard to get off the grill. The spicy pork bulgogi wasn't spicy enough. A solid favorite and great service! Would definitely come again :)

Yelp
We decided to do a random date night here over the weekend because one of our friend is a frequent customer. He said it was amazing, so we had to check it out ourselves. Staff was super friendly upfront, and very accommodating quickly. All the food was great. Highly recommend the wine pork belly + my husband loved the LA Marinated Short Ribs the most! Love that we felt beyond taken care of while there. Everyone is very on it if we need anything at all. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
I came here with my good friend at around 3ish or 4ish. It was still slow, so we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The menu comes in 3 different meal options which are Prince, King, and Emperor. Cheapest one is Prince, which is about 30-35 dollars I think. There are a variety of options to choose just for the cheapest option. Me and my friend mostly just ordered spicy beef brisket and spicy beef belly, which came as good meat quality. Servers here were pretty good too. They respond quickly and I can see how hard they work by running around. My only issue with this place is really just the grill. It's either that or the flame, but the grills burns up quickly. So every time meat gets put onto the grill, it will start to get burnt quickly. So we had to keep asking the servers to constantly change it. This place was quite large for a KBBQ spot. It kinda feels like Gen.

Yelp
The service was excellent. The meat quality was consistent. I wish they have more variety veggies instead of zucchini, mushrooms and onions to grill.

Yelp
One of the best Korean bbq! Made reservations with a big group of friends and they were able to accommodate also kids (private room). The food is good and also the service! Ambiance is welcoming and you can celebrate a big party in the restaurant. I will definitely come back!

Yelp
Probably not my top favorite Kbbq spot but it's still good. I normally just get brisket and it didn't disappoint. I also tried Bulgogi and it was just alright. I thought the spicy bulgogi would have more flavor but it was just bland without the dipping sauces. I could have skipped the garlic chicken and had the teriyaki chicken instead cause that was good. There wasn't not enough banchan options here. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area, but it's not my first choice

Yelp
5/5 stars because Bailey was my server! super great service from him and always seemed happy to help my table -- thank you bailey! he helped a lot of the other servers too but that didn't stop him from being attentive to our needs and always trying to go above and beyond. i'd recommend getting seated in his section if he works! Young was also super kind as well. fav tag team i got to experience :) the food was also pretty good. i don't expect too much from an ayce kbbq as a korean-american who grew up on kbbq & ordering a la carte, but this place was a good budget friendly ayce in santa ana that gets the job done. i'd come back!

Yelp
Ordered from the Prince menu with 2 other people. All of us are left very very underwhelmed. Everything from the sides to the meats - lack of flavor! The water was the best part. Even the kimchi wasnt fermented much if at all... Very busy place but will never be back again.
