great views beautiful city. I love to visit Chicago and just spend hours and hours walking through those amazing streets with those great views. this park is by far my favorite place

I'm going to write this Park five stars. Very clean, very free, very safe atmosphere. Great for all ages, they also have a court which is basketball and I believe a soccer court if I remember correctly. Nice place to walk your dogs. Really enjoyed our time here.

It's simply a nice place to slow down and collect your thoughts. Dogs allowed. Small children playing. Many young families. Both dog and kid playgrounds. River at West end of park is filled with boats slowly moving by. There is a Seven/Eleven accross the street on the East side of the park. Nice for small group picnics. There is a short River Walk, with wildlife. Bring your stale bread. This is a very small park. No baseball, tossing basketballs, setting up nets or tables. This park isn't the place to be if you want to party and drink.

The park was amazing my kids loved the playground and we really enjoyed the movie in the park... We had a blast ... Spiderman no way home was nice to see in the park

Great park but 99.99999999999999% of the ahole dog owners enter the park where signs say NO Dogs past this point... the millennials snobs all ignore THE LAW. Dog wiz and crap everywhere.

A small and lush park positioned right next to the river. Grab a bench and watch as dogs of all shapes and sizes are walked by you!

A great place for kids, pets and relaxation by the river.

We used to live in river north before moving to the burbs. Loved bringing my toddler to this park. All year long this place is fantastic for families. We had our son's first birthday party in the park. I'm the winter when it does snow there's a small hill to sled with kiddos. Fall is gorgeous too by the river. There is a chicago taxi stop too that operates during the summer. Though during the pandemic it had stopped service. There is a dog park next to it and a children play area that's fantastic. During the pandemic when we missed halloween cpd came and handed candy to children, which i thought was very sweet.

Stumbled on this little gem. It's great for kids. It has a nice view of the river and the Ohio street bridge. It's quiet, peaceful.

This is a small, but nice park. There are lot of wonderful parks in Chicago, and this is one of them. It's not the biggest park in Chicago, but it has some very nice features. First, it's in the western part of River North and bit hidden away from the crowds. It is nice that this park never really gets too busy. Second, it has some nice features. There is a playground for the neighborhood kids and a sizable dog park. Third, it is one of the parks that futures moves in the park. I like that the movie screen is placed at the bottom of an incline so that you can sit on the slope of the hill and get a good view of the movie. Also, and I am not sure if this is done at other movies in the park events, but during the movies free bags of popcorn are given away. Fourth, the park leads into a river walk. Walking North, you are connected to a walkway that will take past the 600 N. Kingsbury building (there are bars, shops, offices and restaurants in this building) and you can walk all the way past Chicago Ave and beyond. On most days, this is a quite and relaxing walk. Overall, this is a nice park with plenty to do i it.

This park has one of the best views in Chicago. I've been there multiple times for movies in the park and this year I attended Taste of River North which took place at Montgomery Park as well. They have a great play area for kinds which is fairly new. I used to come there back in a day when I was a nanny and my little one loved it. The park is very clean and not too busy or noisy. At night you can enjoy great views on the river and lights from high rises. They also have an area for dogs. There're quite few restaurants near by the park where you can enjoy lunch or dinner.

Such a BEAUTIFUL park located right along the Chicago River. Only a block from where we live, so naturally I come here often. It's made up of a few hills, trees, a fairly new and awesome looking children's playground, and benches scattered along the edge facing the river. So fun to watch all the tour boats and party boats go by! You can catch the boat ferry here too- I believe it can take you to Michigan ave., as well as other stops. It's also the home to the taste of river north (currently going on, and one of the better, smaller sized fest in the cit). In the summer, it's the perfect place to throw a towel down and catch some rays. In the summer it also host outdoor "movies in the park". Dogs are not allowed in the park, but there's a huge, new dog park adjacent to this one. It's also the place where my husband proposed to me, so it will always be a special place for us.

A great park if you'd like to unwind and relax. Close enough to the city and there are bunch of park benches along the Chicago river to unwind and relax, read a book, watch a movie, and even watch the boat tours drive by. If you're a Pokémon Goer, the elusive Onix lives here!! :) I come here weekly!

Very cute park right along the River. It has a water feature and it's made up from a lot of hills. Flooring is that supper rubber soft so perfect for kids. We don't live near by but will come back. I give it 4 stars instead of five just because it would be nice if the playground had some more shade even though there are plenty of trees around the gated playground.
