The atmosphere was ok. The serve seem to be not as professional when certain people can in. My spring rolls had ice still on the inside of them, so it had to be recook. The rice need some seasoning, the soup was favorable. The crawfish sushi was very food and the dragon sushi roll needed more seasoning as well. This restaurant isn’t bad for the price, but needs some work on seasoning and customer service.

LOVED this spot! The Staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious and prompt. We enjoyed a few rounds of different sushi at a very affordable rate. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try a variety of Sushi without having to commit to entire orders but, also to anyone wanting to try multiple plates as a group.

Our visit to Wasabi Bistro was for dinner on a Monday evening. We had forgotten that they don’t serve the bento box meals on the dinner menu…we really with they would. Anyway, I had the three roll combo, which was definitely plentiful and tasty. The combos are reasonably priced and offer a lot of value for the money. Our server was prompt, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a nice and quiet place to eat.

She helped us by identifying the plates on the reviews ( please name the dish you ordered) our food was really tasty. Will definitely will come back!! I visited Wasabi Bistro for my birthday and the service was amazing as well as the food I had ordered the chicken Katsu dinner and it was so fresh and crunchy! I ordered the chicken Katsu bento box recently since it was good and it is amazing and you can’t beat the price

We ordered food to go because Baby was craving sweet and sour chicken and shrimp fried rice, and it was close to where we were visiting. The woman on the phone was professional and easy to communicate with. She explained some of the details about the dishes with ease, and I was satisfied with her ability to make it happen. The place was easy to find in a nice, new strip center with all kinds of access. The Google map took me right to it. Getting out into traffic was pretty easy too. There were a lot of cars on the road, but exit points with stop signs or stop lights surround the area. Upon arrival, the place looked clean and taken care of, and even though it was mid-afternoon there was patronage inside. Since my order was to go, I went right up to the counter where someone was waiting. My order was ready and included plasticware and fortune cookies that were fresh AND gave me hope. Praise God... mysterious ways and all that. 😉 The food was tasty and still warm even after I got back to where we were staying. That's something, because it wasn't far away, but there was traffic, and I had to walk a good distance when I got back. My wife enjoyed her lunch dish that included an egg roll, her preferred style of rice, and her choice of soup. We elected hot and sour and it was tasty. She ate more than she had been eating, much to my joy and surprise. I had some of the shrimp fried rice and a green dragon sushi roll. It was a tough decision on the sushi because the selection was extensive. I enjoyed the roll I ordered. She liked the sweet and sour chicken because the sauce had a unique and tasty flavor. I prefer a larger quantity of smaller shrimp as opposed to a few larger shrimp, but it hit the spot and I even managed to save some of the shrimp for Babes! All-in-all we were pleased with the food, service, & location, and we would probably eat it again if we're in the area. Enjoy.

Service is always attentive here. The food always tastes great and you really do get a lot of food. We had a ladies night out and it was a great time. The Shaggy dog is the best roll! I also really enjoy the walnut shrimp, but really anything I have eaten here is good.

Truly disappointed. I was expecting good Asian food, but was sadly disappointed. Others give it a good rating, but I wouldn't.

I ordered food to go the other night. It was the chicken katsu dinner, General Tsao, and coconut shrimp. I must say they all tasted horrible. This is probably my 3rd time visiting the place. It was bad the 1st time, but I thought I'll give them another chance. I must've forgotten how horrible it was the first time, so went again the 2nd time. Bad idea. Well, the 2nd time, must've been a year ago, so I went and tried it again the 3rd time, which will be the final time I'd set foot in this place again. The katsu was very bland, it tasted like cardboard. The batter was separating from the meat and the meat was dry. The miso soup was sweet...I don't know why? The general tsao was soggy and very vinegary, and bland as well. The coconut shrimp was not only soggy, but the coconut tasted old and under seasoned. I paid over $41 for all 3 and not worth it. Will not be coming back ever again.

Ever since the new owners took over the food has not been like it used to be to be. The servers aren't attentive as before , and the cleanliness is getting like the service .

Got there at 2:55 noticed they had lunch specials until 3 Server took our lunch special order & went on. A few minutes later she came back to table saying her manager would not allow us to get the lunch special bc it was already past 3. The server was very apologetic and I told her it was not her we were upset with. They were not busy. Wouldn't it have been better to just let us continue with our lunch special? Our order was already taken! It didn't set well with us so we left. We have always enjoyed eating here when we are in town ...but will def be looking for an alternative.

I have noticed that their Miso soup has no taste its not the same as before. Their Hibachi Steak is ok with few tiny bits of steak . Having a bento box is ok which is not bad at all . I have not been here for 8mos and i have noticed that they have new servers and which are they are all friendly . The ambiance still the same nothing new . I hope they somehow change their wall decors or put something that will look more lively to look at.

The food is hot and fresh. Staff is very nice and on top of it. Easy parking. There are booths or table seating.

I haven't been here in many years since they did their remodel and move to a different location. I am going to give them a second try however I am 5050 about the experience. Food: Everything we tried on the food side from sushi to a bento Box was pretty good. Really the only thing we didn't have was dessert so we did a sampling of everything and were content we're content with the food and how much the portions were. Location: This is a strip mall type parking lot situation we were able to get really good parking but I can imagine maybe when it's busy that it could be more of a challenge however we went during lunch and though it was a bit busy we were able to get in within about 10 minutes. Service: So the waitress that we had was nice however I had to ask her to take away a dish that was physically dirty and I didn't want to drink from it. When I told her it was dirty I was very surprised she wanted to leave it on the table. Also my food for the bento Box came out very very late so much so that I truly thought that they had forgotten that portion of my order. I was so full however that I would not have cared and almost was hoping for the mistake. Which says good things about the food but again not so great about the service and timing. Atmosphere: Atmosphere here is decent it's not really anything to write home about and it's definitely a busy spot a tiny bit cramped. It's not terrible and it is nice to see they did try to put effort into the décor by putting butterflies on the wall and putting in initial effort. Overall as I said the food was good the service was OK but the dirty dishes was kind of a huge turn off considering it wasn't just one it was 2 different things. Maybe they just have a c***** dishwasher maybe they just like didn't care or maybe it was completely sanitized and just happened to be really stuck on either way it's super gross. I'm willing to give this place another shot but if it's not kind of a slam dunk I probably am going to keep looking.

Omg. Was in Conroe on a whim and searched yelp for a close by place. This place is the bomb!!! I always judge a sushi place by their ginger. Is it fresh? Is it homemade? Is it good? YES YES YES! This place nailed it. I wish I lived closer. This place beats out 90% Houston sushi places. Dang...I may have to trip back to Conroe just for this!!!

Food was really good with American sized portions of sushi. But it fills up quickly at peak lunch times so be prepared.

The first time we ate here the food was very good and the last 2 times there has been an extremely offensive odor in the restaurant and the quality of food was not good. Will not go back.

We had dinner here for the 1st time. We are thrilled with the food, the service & the ambiance! I just wish it was a little closer to where we live.

The food here was really delicious. Unfortunately there was a strange smell when I went with friends but we just tried to ignore it. Service was okay. I had the lobster lover roll but did not think it was worth $17. However the bento box which was priced for a lunch special was delicious and came with a lot of food actually. I will look forward to going back and trying some other different items! Easy parking and no wait to get in for lunch time.

I have been here multiple times, so I figured it was time for a review!! They opened years ago and I used to come during summer break! It is small and intimate. Wonderful art on the wall and a cute bar top area where you can watch them make the sushi!! You can also see how clean that area is!! I always look at that when visiting sushi places!! Was sat immediately today due to not minding the bar area!! They were super packed and it's 1:30! Ordered myself a glass of wine and the tuna tar tar! Was so thankful it was still on the menu!!! It's absolutely fantastic! I knew it would be from past experience!! The tuna is just so fresh and with the avocado... the crunch of the chip you dip in the mixture... phenomenal!! Now to the "Bird Nest!!" If you want a super cool experience order this item!! HS11!! It is jumbo shrimp and scallops sautéed in a "special sauce" and seduced on top of fried wonton wrappers!! This is new to me!! It used to be fried noodles!! It's the presentation for me!!!! Epic!! Hope this helps with your decision to try Wasabi out!! You won't be disappo

This was such a good surprise! I saw this place and am so glad we tried it. The resturant itself is a super quaint chill Low-key vibe. Our service was also very good. The food is excellent, my spring rolls were very good and the peanut sauce was to die for! I'm so glad to have found a place that has it. My Husband said his wonton was very good and has more flavor and depth than any other wonton he's had. The sweet and sour chicken was juicy and the sauce was good. My Sweet Heart was excellent with the spicy tuna. Overall this is a very good option if you want sushi or Asian food!

Perfect sushi date spot! Intimate inside, with friendly service. Egg rolls were perfectly seasoned and the sushi was very fresh. They had seating by sushi bar which is a fun spot to watch your food being made.

Delicious Chinese noodles and veggies with tofu. I forgot how spicy but delicious this dish is. I enjoyed my visit here. Steven was very attentive to my dietary needs and was a very good server. Portions are huge, 2 meals of leftovers. If you haven't been here, please go it's delicious.

The service was good. The food was good. The portions are big. I have enough for 2 more days of leftovers. This place was busy. There was a line out the door. No seats left. I recommend checking this place out.

I've yet to try anything from Wasabi Bistro that I didn't like. They have amazing food. One of my favorites is the Singapore Noodles. Pair the great food with fantastic customer service and it can't get much better.

I did a good amount of research on local sushi spots, IE, Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Montgomery County area. Even tried a few on my list. Starting with the menu here. One might get concerned as their menu is a mixture of Japanese, Chinese grub, and even a roll with ribeye steak in it. Nothing to worry about!!! My wife ordered several rolls, Lava, Nemo, and The Spicy Lady I believe it was called. Nothing fancy. I tried Nemo and the lady one. Both very good but if you like a little spice the spicy lady was awesome. I got the Big Mac and the pictured Sashimi Deluxe. I tend to lean more towards sashimi but I tried the Big Mac because the list of ingredients was unbelievable. Fish inside and out, even a touch of mango. Very, very good. The slices of sashimi were HUGE. I have only been to a handful of places all over the place that give you slabs of sashimi like this. It was fresh and melt in your mouth delicious. The service was also very good. When we entered it was pretty crowded but we were seated right away, right in the heat of dinner time. Our waitress kept our drinks full and checked on the food quality several times. If I had any concerns it would be things are are just normal for most restaurants, like being loud and crowded, and not worth mentioning as this is normal on a Friday night in a small clearing popular sushi spot. Long and not short. My wife and I have found our regular sushi spot. Highly recommended!!!!

12.16.23 6pm, my husband went to pick up our take out order. We 2 sushi roles, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and crab puffs. My husband gets the bag of food and walks to the car, opens the bag to double check everything is there and the crab puffs and they are missing-he's maybe been out of the restaurant 1 min. He brings the bag and it's contents back in to ask about missing puffs and the cashier/hostess go to tell the kitchen. The kitchen staff tell my husband he's wrong and accuse him of lying. They insist that he is wrong and the puffs were put in there and argue that he must have done something with the missing food. So disrespectful and rude. We will not be back.

While we were disappointed Ted to find our regular sushi spot in town was no longer in business, it was a silver lining to find this new gem. The service is impeccable and the food was delicious. The ramen could have been a little warmer, but it was tasty and miso base was different. What I was most surprised about was the the pricing on quality sushi. We will definitely return soon to sample their expansive food Pan-Asian menu.

We are from out of town, but when in Conroe and we want Asian food for dinner...this place never misses. The menu is delicious with incredible variety and the staff has always been very friendly

My husband and I stopped in today (6/3/24 ) for a light dinner big mistake. I've never had such sorry attitudes from beginning to end to end. The cashier/hostess acted like we were putting her out to be seated. And just when we are trying to be seated our waiter came over asking for our drink order (we had not even opened the menu). Once in the booth we made a very simple order soup (2 bowls) dumplings and chicken lomein -- with attitude our waiter brought one soup had to ask for another and then he took note of the 2 bowl situation. Before we could finish he was hovering to take our empty plates. Checkout wasn't much better. Needless to I will not be eating here again!

We missed our exit off the interstate and found this little gem had high reviews online, lunch was absolutely delicious. We all did a Bento box lunch specials, my friend of the sushi Bento box - The rest of us did hibachi steak and it came with a salad with peanut dressing and clear broth soup. It was a lot of food and all of it was delicious. I ordered my steak medium and my mom got well done. The service was great - loved this place. Comfortable booths with power outlets and good lighting and natural sunlight coming in.

Good food and service. Enjoyed our whole meal so much, our son ordered another serving of his original dish, the chicken fried rice. We will be going back.

First timer here and omgosh what a great find! I tried the Orange chicken and chow mein which was in point! Absolutely delicious, I will definitely be back and bringing the family!

Not so authentic Japanese/Chinese cuisine to me. The sushi was ok, the Chinese dish wasn't that great, they're more suitable for Americans or non-Asian eaters. Service is good.

I ordered take-out and it was great! The crab rangoons were some of the best I've had. They had so much cream cheese, and a generous portion of sweet and sour sauce to go with it. The sushi rolls were fresh. My take-out was pretty quick and the hostess was friendly. I'll definitely be going back!

I have now been back weekly for quite sometime now, and I have tried several other dishes....ALL of which have been AMAZING!! The Pepper Steak melts in your mouth, the Sweet and Tangy Chicken is divine!! Just last night I tried the General Tso Beef...it was wonderful!! I'm a super fan of Wasabi Bistro!!

I am telling you what, if you want the hands down best roll you've ever seen that will have your mouth watering and bursting with flavor beyond your wildest dreams, than look no further than Wasabi's famous "Big Mac" Roll. This role will Have you begging for more before the plate is even gone. 10/10

Good sushi in Conroe??? Good Asian Fusion in Conroe???? Who'd a thunk it! It's NOT good sushi......it's great sushi!!! Yes, really good sushi in Conroe! New place in the new development on Loop 336 S just west of I45. Fresh and flavorful sushi with some really good specialty rolls. We were a party of 5 and ordered a lot of sushi and some Chinese dishes. Everything was really good. Gave them 4 stars because the service was efficient, but the servers were a whopping zero on personality!

We love wasabi bistro! Fresh and delicious and a family favorite. They have great friend rice and sushi.

Love their Chirashi here, so fresh. The slices of sashimi are thick so the price is on point compared to other places where they charge the same or more only to get thin slices with a lot of rice.

Great Asian menu! Several types of cuisine are available and the sushi creations are amazing. So creative! They are tucked away in a Kroger marketplace area, but go find them. The food is top notch!

First time visiting on a Thursday evening. I was seated right away and the waitress was very friendly. She visited the table in a timely manner and did not make me wait long at all. My drink and soup arrived really quickly. They had a decent amount of customers. I ordered the sweet and sour soup as my appetizer. It has a spicy kick to it but it's so good. The Thai tea is also really good if you have had it before and are familiar with this type of Asian tea. I personally really like it. I ordered the Big Jason Sushi roll. Everything is pictured below. I really like Asian cuisine and since this is local to me I will continue to visit!

This was the first time I have eaten here. We went with friends and family that had been there before and raved about the food. I eat Chinese food several time s week. Or favorite in Conroe is China Delight, they are unbeatable. I had my usual Volcano Chicken. It was of the dinner menu, no egg roll, no Rangoon, nothing just the entree and a cup of rice. I chose fried rice. The spices on the volcano chicken were weird. It was hot and that was good but it was like the heat from Wasabi not peppers. The flavor was odd and unusual. I didn't expect it and didn't like it. I didn't have to pay the bill so I'm not complaining about the price but the serving size was vary small in comparison to China Delight, about half the size. We went is separate vehicles so we can stop at McDonalds on the way home. They do have Coca-Cola, which is more than I can say about other Chinese restaurants, most only have Pepsi and I hate Pepsi. The Coke was on par and not flat.

It is a small and unassuming restaurant along a storefront facing 336 South loop in Conroe, TX, however they have a full menu and excellent service. The prices are not bad either.

Went in for a second time and this time tried their sushi. The plating was beautiful and the sushi divine! I had pepper tuna and a sexy lady roll and they were fresh and delicious! I'm super glad I found this place! My date had the general Tao chicken and thought it he was delicious as well!

Found this last Friday as we were trying to decide where to eat while driving down I-45 in Conroe. We like Asian food and it has good ratings so we thought we'd give it a go. It is located on the south loop in Conroe, where a lot of our new shops are located now. Not much space to wait in. The place was packed and it's not a large dining room area. We were finally seated at a table and served within a short time. The menu is huge! So many things to choose from. I wanted to try sushi as well as my main dinner. We made our selections and the wait time was good. I had wonton soup with my meal. It was tasty. The egg rolls were small but tasty. My wife also ordered some spring rolls. Very good. The peanut sauce was "very peanutty" according to her. I ate it with Shiracha. I orders the Hibachi Steak. She got Pad Thai. My boys got orange chicken and shrimp fried rice. Overall a good experience and we're glad we found it. We will be back!

First time eating here today. Restaurant was pretty full but got my food in great time. The sushi here is fresh and amazing! Rolls and sashimi were big portions and full of flavor. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!
