"At the Conroe sushi restaurant Wasabi Bistro, Chimene Lewis says she was turned away at the hostess booth when staff told her she hadn’t tipped enough on previous visits after she requested a booth; Lewis says she had visited three times previously, tipped more than 20 percent the first two times, skipped a tip the last time because she found the staff rude, and now won’t return because she “feels wronged.” The restaurant’s owner, Alan Guo, called the incident a “big misunderstanding,” apologized to Lewis and said it’s “no problem if you didn’t tip,” adding that not tipping would indicate there must have been a problem with either the service or the food." - Adele Chapin
