"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players."
If you read their statement, you'll soon earn that the owners must really love Shakespeare as the above quote is listed in their menu. Meant to evoke "stage dining," the interior is dark, moody, with the occasional spotlight above casting a glow on your table. It's a vibe. I'm not sure it's my vibe, but it's a vibe no less.
White Mountain ($21): Osmanthus infused Fords gin, suze, and amaro sibilla. It's a dark and aromatic drink.
Forgotten Moment ($21): Belvedere vodka, Luxardo maraschino, lime, pineapple, heavy cream, egg whites, soda water, and grenadine. Sounds cute, right? You really can't go wrong with a drink with fluffy egg whites in it.
Peking Duck Salad ($21): Think of the most basic bagged salad and top it with some delicious roast druck. That's pretty much what you're getting. The orange slices and nuts on top do make it lovely.
Crisp Pork ($28): Ten cubes of crispy delicious pork for $28, served with yellow mustard and a salt blend. Delightful!
Black Pepper Beef ($31): The fact that this Black Pepper Beef costs more than the Crispy Pork is almost a crime. For the price, I thought they would be serving beef cubes, but they serve the beef as slices.
Beef Chow Fun ($23): It's a decent chow fun! Classic, no frills, it's good.
Mango Sago ($10): Get this dessert. You won't regret it.
Birthday Ice Cream Trio ($0): Two scoops of popcorn and one mango!
Perhaps it was the items I ordered, or maybe their dim sum is where it's at, but I thought the cuisine was pretty mid. In a town where you can get a lot better Chinese fare for similar pricing, why settle here? I would even argue that there are better Chinese spots on The Strip if you don't want to venture off-strip.
