Washington Squares

We got delivery pizza to our apt. Beside a missing Beet Salad from the order, the pizza are still hot and the mushroom pie was exceptionally good and of course the free ice cream that comes with every pie you order only for the weekend.

We are huge fans of Loring Place, and we were stoked to get have more pizza options from Dan Kluger - this time available for delivery! Unfortunately, the delivery system has some major kinks to sort out. We ordered at 5:15 and were given a 6:00 delivery estimate. The pizzas actually arrived just after 7:15, by which point they were cold and soggy. Compared to the pizzas at Loring Place - which are incredible - these were decidedly average in terms of ingredients and preparation. I am not hating on either cold or average pizza; but given the cachet attached to the operation and the price point, these needed to be better.

My friend ordered this pizza last night and I was blown away by the flavor! The mushroom pizza was delicious. Well done!
