I had Dog Tags (fried pickles) and a small Burly Bulldog (meaty pizza). They were sooo good, and I brought half the pizza home for dinner tonight. I drank pink lemonade with my lunch instead of anything alcoholic, but they do have a good beer selection.

Admittedly, I only popped in for one drink, to kill some time. However, the interior was very modern and clean! That staff were very attentive and courteous as well! I arrived around 4PM this Monday, and there were only a couple other folks at the bar. For owners sake, I hope this was peculiar, but it certainly did make for a fast pour! Speaking of which, I got the German Shepheweizen Hefeweizen, and it was very tasty. Hazy, bright, and beautifully banana-clove forward—Wasserhund nails the Hefeweizen style with their Shepheweizen. Clean, refreshing, and super easy to enjoy. Plus, I’m a sucker for any good dog-related merch

I’ve always loved Wasserhund, but tonight made me a forever fan. They spotlight local nonprofits throughout the month and tonight they had REACH and The Big Free Bookstore. The staff was so friendly, food was delicious, and their beer is always great. Thank you for all you do for the community!

My wife and I usually look for breweries to try out when traveling and came across Wasserhund. We had a great visit, and wish we had the time to stop a second time before we had to leave town. We enjoyed two beer flights and their puppy tails appetizer. Wish we had room for their pizza, it looked amazing! We opted for some merchandise and beer to bring back home to enjoy again with friends. We will definitely stop by Wasserhund again when we get back to Virginia Beach!

I don't know how to say any more about this place. Dogs are awesome, and this place gets it. They always have a profound understanding of how to make a delicous IPA, and cook a real tasty pizza. Great atmosphere with cool wall graphics inside, with fun dog themed beers. I was thoroughly impressed.

Google
This place has it all! Great service, dogs everywhere, good beer, and complimentary EV chargers! We came here to be the first place as we bar hopped back to our Airb&b. Ended up staying for 4 hours. You will NOT be disappointed. Can’t comment on the food, but everything else is legit. Enjoyed our visit and will be back again.

Google
Cool dog themed brewery and restaurant. Went here for St. Pattie’s Day for the first time and was pleasantly surprised about the atmosphere and food! The lucky charm mimosas, appetizer dipper trio, and Oreo dessert pizza was so delicious! I’ll definitely be back if I’m looking for a chill spot to have some food and drinks.

Yelp
We decided to try a local brewery while on vacation. We stopped in at Wasserhund Brewing Company. Nice friendly atmosphere, lots of seating, great beer selection.

Yelp
This was a recommendation from my gf so I checked it out. Upon arrival the dog theme explained why she was drawn to this place. I grabbed the blonde ale and got the Rottweiler pizza. The ale was amazing, but the pizza was a bit underwhelming for my taste. If back in VA I will give it another chance to see if it was just an off day. They have a clothing selection as well and I picked up something for my gf. Let's see if she reads my reviews.

Yelp
This place has great food, great music, and great beer. The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was really good, perfectly crisp and the the Hot Honey sauce was perfect. The Chicken Tenders were disappointing, they seem just like regular frozen tenders, barely any meat, skip these. I will get the pizza next time because it looks really good. The bartenders are kind and kept asking if we needed refills.

Yelp
Wasserhund is a dog gone good time! Everything from their service, dog friendly menu/outside seating and the draft list is impressive. Join their loyalty club and earn rewards for each level/challenge and 20 percent off for your birthday month. They also do a military discount on Wednesdays. The food is great and they have enough draft beer options for anyone who enjoys craft brews. The outside seating was perfect to bring your four legged best friend while enjoying the beautiful VB weather and a beer or two! Order the dog park for a mixture of pepperoni, pretzels and Stromboli!

Yelp
When I'm in the Hilltop area around lunch time, I like to stop by Wasserhund Brewing for some of their incredible pizza. I know what you're thinking, what does a brewery know about making good pizza? As it turns out, quite a lot.., I recently discovered that they use the same yeast that they use to make their beer, they use it in their pizza dough. That is the secret to their magic. If you love good craft style beer and excellent pizza, check out Wasserhund Brewing. You'll be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local restaurant community.

Yelp
We keep seeing the Wasserhund truck and remembered to ordered from y'all. We are eating the leftovers from our pizza... Oh My Gosh, we had forgotten how good it was. The crust is wonderfully bready, plenty of sauce the meat toppings are perfect. You're going to be our new Go-to for pizza. Give em a try... YUMMY...

Yelp
First time here and was there for Father's Day celebration - great live music and entertainment throughout the whole day! Large patio and games in the back! Dog friendly patio!

Yelp
It had been a long time since I visited this brewery. We decided to go on a Friday evening and that may have not been a good idea. The place was slammed and it was difficult to find a table because most of them were reserved. Our server was nice and friendly. She was extremely busy so she didn't check on us throughout our meal. When she finally did stop by she apologized and thanked us for our patience and understanding. We ordered some pizzas, fries and beer and everything was good. Considering how busy it was, our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. This is definitely a solid place for good pizza and a brew, just make sure they're not hosting several large groups. It's easy to see that it has a loyal local following.

Yelp
Took a break from black Friday shopping and stopped in here for some drinks. JR was our main server since we sat at the bar, but Ozzy helped too. They were both fantastic. I joined the top dog club while I was sitting there and JR helped me navigate that. I now know what to do the next time I come. I also signed up for the wreath making class while I was sitting there too. I also bought a hoodie. It was an eventful day for me. I tried a few samples but drank a good amount of doggy paddle. We also got the wasserhund pizza. I had just eaten so I wasn't hungry. I tried a bite though and it was good. I ate alllll the crust. That was delicious. So good. I love me some carbs and these were really good carbs. Some friends came up while we were there and they got drinks as well. It was a cute location and I snapped some pics of puppy pictures while I was in my way back from the bathroom. They even have a doggy menu, which is super cute. I love how their menu items are all dog related. I will def be back. I like this place a lot.

Yelp
We had a lot of fun catching up with some friends from home. Wanted to visit a brewery and they had Oktoberfest going on so we came here. When we got here the place was real busy. There are some tables outside then a bunch of tables that can be shared inside. We were in the back because it was not as loud as the front because of the live music. We scanned a QR code to bring up them menu. It was like 17 pages of beer and food. The waitress came over and I got a flight of 4 different beers. The woman that served us was real nice. She could have come by more often but the place was packed so it is understandable why it may have taken so long. Definitely would return.
google avatar

Kristina C.

Yelp
Wasserhund never disappoints. We went for Saturday lunch and even though it was packed, service was fast and friendly. There is always a place to sit and even though it was noisy, it was not loud. Food and beer are awesome. Get the Italian greyhound and the pretzel bites. We picked up the dog pizza with chicken to take home to the pups as an added treat. Great place to grab a beer and have some pizza
google avatar

Yelp
We were in Va. Beach visiting family and this was our first lunch stop of the trip. We had a Chicken Schnitzel sandwich, chicken nuggets, pizza, and a sloppy hot honey chicken sandwich. Also, being in a brewery, we had hefeweizen beer, lagers, a sour and and another tasty beer whose type escapes me. We really loved the food and drinks and will gladly return when in town next.

Susan A.

Yelp
We got our favorites tonight. The Dog Park and the Burly Bulldog Pizza, without ham. Always so good!

Yelp
This place is a must try! Great food great drinks and overall great vibe. You sit yourself down and the servers will make their way over to you. The service is super quick and the food is phenomenal. Not your average pizza place and is one of its own kind. Make sure to try the Wasserhund pizza, I was iffy about ordering it because of all of the different ingredients but they knew what they were doing. The flavors really meshed well with the dough of the pizza. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

Yelp
I'm not a huge brewery person, but I really enjoyed myself! Indoor and outdoor seating. They had a local band called No Agenda playing the day we went. Family/kid/pet friendly, with beers and actual good food. Got one of their specialty pizzas. I hate when breweries just have snack type food, so being able to have a really good meal here was great. Service was great. I would definitely come again.

Yelp
Wasserhund Brewing is a great brewery with the catchiest theme. This is definitely the brewery you bring a dog lover to. With quirky dog themed art and posters on the wall, and equally fun beer names to match, this place is a "beer lovers best friend" Inside you will find lots of places to sit, a long L shaped bar and some tall community tables in the back. An almost equally sized area where they brew the good stuff sits behind big windows across from the bar. My partner lives to see those big vessels that beer is made in. Bartenders are helpful and attentive. Menu is found on each table in the form of a QR code. Very on trend and Pandemic friendly. Menu consist of bar bites with names like "kibbles" and "dog bones." Pizza named after the cutest of pups, "The Puggle." Beer with epic flavors and names like "Third hop from the sun, and "Pure-bred Pilsner" Looking to get out of the storm we ordered a small Puggle $11 for 4 pieces. Thick crust, fresh cheese, tasty white sauce and crispy bacon. SO GOOD. Paired well with my IPA, Third Hop from the Sun. Wasserhund is comfy. They make some good pizza, and their beer is fresh. They also have a selection of 4 packs to take home and lots of merchandise to flaunt your new favorite brewing company. 5 stars for great service, great offerings and good vibes.

Yelp
We cater to this place like our second home. You know why? Because the people that work there treat you like family and they work very hard. Plus! The pizza is off the hook. The bier is to die for and the atmosphere is just so relaxing. What more can you ask for? Great job to the staff and to the proprietor who work so hard to bring you the best!

Yelp
Wasserhund is a fantastic neighborhood brewery with insanely good 'za! The beers are pretty good, though I wish they had more in the way of sours. But the pizza is really the star of the show! I've tried the BLT pizza and the dill pickle pizza. Both amazing, the BLT is definitely my favorite and unlike anything else I've ever had. There's a roomy patio to hang out on and a laid back vibe to the place. I've come here with large groups as well and it wasn't a problem. The fire pits out back are a nice touch too!

Pebbles V.

Yelp
This place advertises as dog friendly and dogs allowed. But told us "dogs are only allowed if they're service animals" which obviously if it's a service animal they're allowed anywhere. Their patio area was stored away and there was only indoor seating. Wouldn't recommend, save your time and money especially if you want to bring your dog along.

Yelp
My boyfriend surprised me by stopping here because I like beer and dogs so their logo pulled us in! Didn't try the food, but I saw and ready about good things- the pizza looks fantastic. The newly released Let's go Party, Barbie-inspired, Fantastic Fruited Kolsch with Red Dragonfruit I 5.3% ABV was okay but not very fruity tasting.

Jessica K.

Yelp
I always look forward to coming in to Wasserhund VB for not only the great beer and pizza, but the top tier service provided by the staff. Servers/bartenders are always smiling and patient no matter how busy it may be. Traci and Ozzy have stole the show for me I'm always looking for them when I come in. Tonight especially, everyone on the floor provided excellent service, not to mention the 5 star pizza from the kitchen staff. 10/10 recommend this spot!

Yelp
**This review was accidentally posted on the Chesapeake location 8 months ago so this review covers my visit** Back around December, one of my dear Yelp friends, Lisa O., told me about this place out in Virginia Beach where they serve not only beer, but dishes like pretzels, baked bread, salads and pizza. Turns out they also had a discount for $30 off your meal (either for dine-in or takeout). Since it's Memorial Day weekend, why not take a trek from Newport News to the Southside to check this place out?? The brewery itself is tucked away next to a bicycle shop. Inside is beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating. And the artwork is excellent as well. You can also bring your dog for some treats and it is family friendly too. Now, onto the food: -For beer, I picked the Wasserhund German Shepeweizen. It is wheat beer with a taste of bananas and cloves. A very good way to start off your meal. Not bitter at all and you can taste the fruit flavor as well. -For apps, we picked tail twigs which are housemade bread sticks served with marinara and ranch dipping sauce. Really damn good bread. Came out right out the oven and very soft with each bite. My girlfriend said there should've been more olive oil spread on the bread but I didn't mind at all. And the sauces were very good too. I say the ranch was slightly better than marinara. -For our main course, we chose a large Italian Greyhound pizza which consists of Italian sausage, pepperoni and Roma tomatoes. A truly wonderful creation. With every bite, I could taste a slight crunch. And the toppings were just right. Since we were full, half of this bad boy was all boxed up and ready to take home. I can truly say this trip was all worth it. From the staff to the food, it was a pleasure. I will make sure to tell friends of mine to try them out and I'm sure they'll enjoy it as much as we did. And a special thank you to Lisa O. for suggesting them. We will back here real soon. And as they say in Germany: prost!!!

Yelp
Food was incredible and fresh! Beer was great and the service was top notch. Great environment.

Yelp
The pizza is always a winner with kiddo and while Mr.Hubster opts for their puppy dog tails. The menu has changed a little since we were last here, so I suggest looking over their menu.

Yelp
Finally made it here after we received a gift card a while ago. Can't believe we haven't visited before! This brewery has such a fun atmosphere with great beer, excellent pizza, and incredible soft pretzels. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Just went for a flight of beers at the bar. Very friendly and attentive bartender. Beers solid. Look forward to returning and trying food next time

Yelp
4 out of 5. Great beer selection, and the beer was tasty. Terrific food menu as well. It was a brewery with a pizza oven, so they had great food. I feel a little silly writing about a brewery. Having been to hundreds of them, they tend to all be about the same. - IPAs - Stouts flavored with marshmallow or chocolate or coffee or some such - Fruity sours - Throw a pilsner and a lager on the menu to please those folks What sets Wasserhund apart is that they seemingly had a larger selection than most places, plus the food. The space was also pretty cozy. Lots of outside seating if that is your thing (it was raining when we went, so it wasn't ours). Where it came up short was the server didn't seem very happy or pleasant. I felt like he felt like we were an annoyance, more than a customer. Which is a shame. However, I later learned that he was annoyed because a couple people called in and he was left to work the dining room all by himself, and he was expecting a group of 100 Republican women that had made a reservation weeks in advance. Which probably explains why people called in. (Who can blame them, really?!) The server also mentioned it is why he chose to wear a belly shirt that day, which I thought was amazing and hilarious. So I immediately had sympathy for him after he told us this fact. Anyhow. Go for the brews and the food. Just make sure there isn't a Karen convention while you're there.
google avatar

Anne F.

Yelp
Dogs, pizza, n' beer. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's all I need to be happy. Okay ice cream too, but that doesn't work for this review. My favorite thing to do is to keep an eye on Wasserhund's social media for their pizza of the month. Every time I've seen a combination that looks interesting- I haven't been disappointed. One time they did this pumpkin & sage pizza. I know what you're thinking... wtf?! It was amazing! You've just gotta trust me or keep an eye on their page to see if they bring it back one day so you can try it for yourself. Another favorite of mine is the puppy tails (with ranch to dip in of course). Basically just little pepperoni rolls. If I'm not vibing with the pizza of the month I usually go for these as my main meal. But when I come with friends I always convince the table to share them. I love the atmosphere of Wasserhund too. It just feels like a local spot. One of those breweries that still has the energy of a new place, but the comfort level of a brewery that's just always been there. And of course... dogs. Everything is dog themed which I just adore. I haven't visited them in person since the pandemic hit last year, but I've continued to support by ordering delivery since I'm lucky enough to live in their delivery range. There was one day when I put the wrong address in for their delivery. They were the MOST helpful getting it straightened out and sent to the right address. There are other shops nearby that you can't even get on the phone if you messed up something on your online order. They are opening a second location later this year- I'm excited to see them grow!
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
So my initial review when Wasserhund first opened is no longer relevant. When they first opened their food was ok and their beer selection was pretty minimal. NOW, (January 2021) they are amazing. I live around the corner and it has become mu go to for beer and pizza. Their "Dog Park" is the best thing. Pretzel and beer cheese, crispy pepperoni with ranch and a "puppy tail" of a crust stuffed with cheese and pepperoni to dip with pizza sauce. Their beers range from IPA's to Stout to Hard kombucha to a bunch of seltzer flavors. Seriously some of the best in the area!
google avatar

Kristina H.

Yelp
We wanted to find a dog friendly spot and came across this place. It's a lot bigger than we thought it would be. There are long tables inside, where different parties can sit. There are outdoor tables on the side and in back there were fire pits that you could sit around and more tables. There was an awning that was open when we arrived but retracted when we had left, way cool! On the tables were the QR code for their menu. Our server came up immediately and offered us a sample because we weren't sure what beer to try. We also ordered the Bavarian pretzel $9, which came with beer cheese and mustard. I almost said no cheese, husband is not a fan of cheese, so imagine my surprise when he ate most of the cheese!!!! It was that good! We are going back soon with our two dogs and try the pizzas, it seemed that everyone got one!!! They looked amazing!!!
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
Our server was great! We came on a Saturday and it was fun to hang out and watch a basketball game. We got food and drinks- both were amazing!

Yelp
It's been four years since I've been back to Wasserhund. A far larger delay to return and update than I ever expected. I'm delighted to do a substantial upgrade. During the height of the pandemic the brewery operation kept going and worked on distribution which has been greatly improved. This kept a nice money stream to keep them going with the tap room closed. They continue to have a leaning toward German brewing. My visit on a Saturday afternoon brought me in for beer and pizza. In my previous review I had nothing but great things to say about their delicious hand tossed pies. The beer was so underwhelming I hit them hard! After all they are a brewery. The dining room is now open at reduced capacity and it was busy. I checked in at the cashier for outdoor seating and was told someone would be with me. The outdoor seating is a bit cozier than what some may want during COVID times. I'm not sure if anything changed on spacing. The tables can accommodate four comfortably. There are a few larger six tops. The area was clean and expect a pooch or two to be around. Wasserhund is known for their dog friendly atmosphere. There is a QR code on every table to retrieve their menu. I ordered a Octoberfest brew and small pizza with pepperoni, sausage and tomato because I saw it on another table...FACTS! It looked so awesome! The vibe was sweet with friends, family' and K9 enjoying each other's company. Within minutes my beer was delivered. Approximately 15 minutes and probably less my pizza was delivered with silverware and extra napkins. The visual was stunning. The aroma tantalizing. I felt compelled to video that first slice extracted from the pan and lordy was it a thing of beauty. If you like a gooey pie they have you covered. No skimping on the toppings and that first bite was a winner. Quality, just enough grease and the crust is incredible all the way to the top. They place the pizza in a pan that allows the grease to drain off which is novel. My waitress was hustling the entire time but did check in. I ordered a 4pk can of their Octoberfest beer to go. They come in 16 oz cans. The price was around $16 and served cold. My check was promptly delivered upon request. The total price a little over $35 without tax and tip. A reminder they can be a bit difficult to locate. They are behind Contes bike shop. Parking is adequate but unfortunately it's tight on enter and exiting. It appears to be one-way when leaving as cars park on a diagonally. However there is one way in and out. I will not be a stranger.
google avatar

Christian E.

Yelp
Chill vibes! I love the beer and the pizza names for food. My wife and I went there on a casual dinner as the sun sets. A cold beer, a warm delicious pizza, is all you need. Classic pepperoni got them cups; you know it's going to be a good pep pizza when you see that.
google avatar

Sally C.

Yelp
Food here is awesome. I can't say anything about the beer because I am not a craft beer drinker but I have heard good things. But they had plenty of other options for non beer drinkers like me. We sat at the bar for a quick lunch. Don't sit by the pizza oven - it got hot fast at that end of the bar so we moved down a few seats. We both got the lunch special which was a plain cheese pizza and a salad. Perfect amount of food for lunch. The pizza was delicious and hot and fresh. The crust was good too and not too much. We had really great service by Sammy. Friendly and kept checking on us. Even on our way in I heard outside with a table of hers and I remember thinking that she sounded so friendly. And we were lucky enough to get her at the bar. I do enjoy coming here......they do get busy though during peak times. The only thing is no menus so you have to scan. I am old school and do prefer menus so I can see the whole menu. They also have outdoor seating, bar seating and plenty of big tables for groups. I will be back - even though I do not like craft beer.

Yelp
10 out of 10 I absolutely recommend!! The beer was delicious and the pizza was perfect! I tried a three beer flight and they were all great but the Boysenberry Gose and Ice-cream Stout were the best! We also had the giant pretzel and Rottweiler Pizza and they were both amazing! The bread in the pizza was soft and buttery and everything you want in a pizza. I actually ate the crust first. The pretzel had a great crunch and went great with the honey mustard brown mustard. We highly enjoyed our experience and can't wait to come back. Our server was great, he checked on us often and got our food and drinks out fast. I really enjoyed the laid back beach vibe. Very nice and clean. Wish I would have took photos but the food was amazing and we couldn't wait to eat!

Yelp
This brewery is such a vibe !! We went on a Thursday night and it had good crowd and great music !! We went as a group of 20 plus and we had good enough space in the back !! I ordered this delicious pizza and when I tell you it's bomb dot com !!! I'm definitely recommending this bar and coming back !!

Robert C.

Yelp
This is an amazing brewery with the best pizza in Virginia Beach! The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Great atmosphere both inside and outside!

Yelp
Hubby and I love Wasserhund. We have stopped in a few times in the past month (usually early on Sat or Sun right after opening) to have a baby-free beer and pizza. It's off the main drag of Laskin Road behind Conte's bike shop. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating on a nice day. The staff is friendly and helpful and the pizza is REALLY tasty! I'm usually partial to brick-oven pizza, but the Dachinator here is one of my favorites. They have plenty of beer varieties - something for every taste. They also have a good selection of salads if pizza isn't your thing. My only complaint is that the barstools aren't the most comfortable, but after a few beers, who really cares about that?!

William M.

Yelp
Beware the hidden 3% CC fee that nobody mentions before they bring your check. A little frustrating to pay $8/pint for decent beer and then get hit with a hidden fee at the end of your evening. I've been to multiple hosted event nights here and even spent the last couple of Father's Days here, but this is an extremely frustrating. I've already stopped going to Shorebreak over the same behavior. Beer is decent. Service is generally what you'd expect at a brewery. Still love this place, but I'm going to reevaluate how I spend my money and want to give others the heads up that there is a 3% CC Fee that the staff doesn't discuss.
google avatar

Oneida K.

Yelp
Great place to hang out; plenty of space for a few friends of space or just a table for 2. We went for trivia night and had a great time. The food is also very goWe had a pizza "Rottweiler" and appetizer plate "dog park" everything has fun names. Lots of drink choices besides beer, but the beers are great!!
google avatar

Lisa O.

Yelp
THE BEST!!!!!! Food and beverage. Crust is perfect, sauce is perfect, Toppings are way more than perfect, beer is perfect, service is perfect. We go often. I have worked my way through the whole menu. Everything is great. I try to treat myself to cat nip. It is is heavenly dough sprinkled with cinnamon and you dip it in an addicting sweet sauce. Once you try it you will know why they call it cat nip. We actually went to try their brewery and now we cannot get enough of this place because they have it all. The staff is fun and there is an energy to this place that just makes you happy And if your lucky you will see a sweet dog because they have an entire area for your best friend to come with you ( you can bring your dog)

Yelp
Wasserhund Brewing Company, more than just a brewery. It's involvement with the community is so impressive for every week they have pledged to support local charities and events by hosting fund raisers, silent auctions, and by every week donating a portion of the revenues to a customer chosen cause. Yes you read correctly !!! It is important to them what YOU the customer want and think !!! You can contact them with ideas or suggestions of a charity or cause in need of support. On Tuesdays they host a different local charity from 5-10pm and Wasserhund Brewery Company donates 30% of the taproom revenue to that evenings charity. While here you MUST try their pizzas !!! This unique pizza dough is mixed with Wasserhund Beer to give it that delicious crust. I recommend you try the "Burly Bulldog" and the "Lil Chihuahua". With plenty of other styles of Pizzas to chose from and Salads, Beer Brats, Vegan (gluten free) Brats, Catnip (dessert) or just to snack on the "Puppy Tails" or "Jumbo Pretzel" you will not leave hungry. The Wasserhund brews !!! Oh yes !!! Pack Mates Cherry Pie Ale, Sour Pup (colab with The Garage Brewery), All American Shepard Dog, Märzen, Apple Cider Ale, Apple Cider Donut Lager, Mystery Oreo Ale, Haywire Husky, and their seasonal Oktoberfest brew. These are just some, but there are plenty more and they are always adding new brews. So do make it a plan to visit Wasserhund Brewery Company for great experience !!!

Yelp
I love Wasserhund! The pizza is to die for and the beers are amazing. My favorite is the Shepeweizen. I get it every time and I'm in love. The pizza is a great pairing, always so fresh and flavorful. It's nice to sit on the patio with the dogs in the summer time since it gets packed quick for being such a small space. Get the Hellhound pizza if you like spice. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Tried a few different sample sizes and made my own beer flight, and what a range they offer! I really enjoyed the Golden Oreo lager, the Coffee lager and the Cherry Pie Ale. Not a fan of the Bourbon Mule at all - but hats personal preference. Our party of four shared the XL Lil' Chihuahua pizza, very tasty, not too heavy on the stomach leaving plenty of room for beer; not a slice was left. The service here is great, they wait on you at your table so no waiting in line at the bar like at other breweries. The day we went was relatively quiet, so service was pretty on par with that of a good restaurant. I couldn't walk away without some merchandise, not only am I a dog lover/owner/mother, I am also aggressively on board with local businesses - like, REALLY on board. Go do the same dangit.

Yelp
Went here spontaneously with a friend to have a quick drink before dinner with some of her coworkers. We didn't want to get full off of beer so ordered a cranberry pomegranate seltzer which was delicious!! They have ciders and wine on the menu as well. I tried a piece of someone else's pizza (with their permission ) and it was very good, they do wood fired pizza on the premises! As we were leaving they were starting up bingo night and my friend and I vowed to come back next week to play

Yelp
Every year we visit VA Beach, we stop here and every year we are happy that we do. The food is always really good and the service is always awesome. We stopped on a chilly, breezy afternoon and took advantage of the open garage door to enjoy the positive aspects of the weather without dealing with the negative ones. The atmosphere is really cool. The service is always extremely friendly and the food is always delicious. This time we made our own Greek pizza and it was so, so good. I absolutely love their crust and love that the pizza isn't disgustingly greasy like most. We also go the soft pretzel with beer cheese and really enjoyed that as well. It seems like they added some more outdoor seating which is really fun. We will continue to stop back every time we visit!

Yelp
I had tried a few different pours from Wasserhund on draft in Richmond in the past several months, so I was intrigued enough to check out the brewery while in Virginia Beach. Plus it was right down the road from where we had brunch, so fate lined up for the visit! It was midday last Saturday, and I easily located an open bar seat. Briefly perused the menu and decided on a flight of four. You can choose any amount you'd like for a flight, which I appreciate. I'd totally try their whole menu if I was visiting with beer friends and had the time to do so. Maybe during a beach trip in the future?? As it stood, I tried their boysenberry sour, the fruit smoothie sour, the pink lemonade beer, and the apple cinnamon beer. All of them were tasty, but I'd say the fruit smoothie was my standout favorite. I'd order it again if I saw it on tap around me. Very well executed. Their menu had options for all taste preferences, plus they even serve food. The space is large and seems like it'd be a good spot for families to visit as well. I'd imagine it's hopping during the summer season. My visit was pretty brief, but I enjoyed what I had and wouldn't hesitate to pop back in if I find myself in the area again.
