Google
Excellent place. We cycle to Abbey mills and always end up eating here. Great staff. Portions have got a little smaller recently. The service is quick and efficient and there are plenty of seats inside and outside. The tuna and cheese on toast is absolutely delicious. I recently had sausage, egg and chips. It was very tasty. Lots of options for drinks which is why we just keep going back.

Nice place. Poor menu availability and quality of food. Not that expensive but not good value despite that. Had three different breakfast items which were distantly average. Won’t return. Shame given the setting.

Great place. Visited yesterday afternoon, only had a couple of drinks so can't comment on the food but it did look good. Owner was great and so was his wife. Was quiet at the time but can tell it would have a good vibe when busy.

Quaint café/grill in old windmill building and nice exterior covered extension. Excellent service, and very reasonably priced food! I had the half a vegetarian breakfast and nicely done toasts! Was filling and nice! Tea was seriously spot on. Nicely brewed and smooth! One of the best teas I have tasted! By that I mean, I could taste the tea's natural quality without having the urge to add a little sugar. I also got 2 and a half cups from the tea pot! Ambience nice and cosy. If you want to feel like you're at a day theme park, just step into the extension at the front of the café/grill. Overall nice food at a very reasonable price near a windmill. You don't need to go to Holland now!

First impressions I like this venue You order food at the bar, and pay before you eat and drink one's Meal is brought to your table. Quick service under 5 minutes Attentive staff No sooner have I eaten than my. empty plates are whisked away SOMETHING I HATE. All the more so, once I had finished my drink the empty glass was whisked away within seconds of it touching the table as if they wanted you out If it was not by chance that I Came here on a Saturday when a brass band was playing under the squares bandstand which added to the ambience I would have given this place Two stars Will be back to try out their Sunday carvery next time to see if it fairs better to other venues I frequent. Post scrip, Sunday Buffet disappointing

Lovely coffee thank you! I wish I’d come for a meal having seen everything being prepped from scratch. Next time!

Yelp
The food was fantastic and tasty as well as piping hot. Friendly service as well. I wanted to eat out in the Merton abbey mills local area but did not want KFC or Pizza Hut so I was glad I decided to walk round to abbey mills & found this gem of a place. I had the moussaka it was delicious. I will go again.

Yelp
Poor service rude staff would not go here again or recommend this place to anyone , a afternoon out with a group of young people with disabilities in wheel chairs , it was made clear by the staff's attitude we werent made welcome and didn't want us in there
