Hosted our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here, Alec was amazing & communication was on par. Chef Jace perfected our menu with very little details or guidance & the entire staff made sure we were taken care of. Definitely worth the drive & service was amazing!

Waters Edge Winery & Bistro is one of those rare spots that does everything right. From the moment you walk in, the space feels inviting—whether you’re coming in for a cozy glass of wine or a full dinner with friends. Their wine selection is absolutely delicious (seriously, don’t leave without trying a flight), and the food menu is exquisite, thoughtfully crafted, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And as if that weren’t enough, they’ve recently added a few draft beers to the mix, giving everyone at your table something to love. What really sets this place apart for me is the versatility. I’ve actually come in a few times to work from the bar, thanks to their strong WiFi and peaceful energy. Whether it’s for a productive solo session or a laid-back hang with friends, Waters Edge just works. This is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Dallas. Whether you're a foodie, wine lover, or just looking for a great neighborhood vibe, do yourself a favor and check them out!

My wife and I found this gem recently and have been back twice now. It is a wonderful spot! The atmosphere is upscale and comfortable at the same time. A place where you can relax with good company and lose track of time, yet also feel like you "went out". The service was top notch as well, you can tell the staff really care about the patrons. The food is simply outstanding. The brussels sprouts are a go to starter. The spinach & artichoke flatbread was creative and so tasty. The bayside panini was a comfort dish if I've ever tasted one. And since we ended with dessert... the Sundae Funday made my jaw tingle. We will definitely be back!

Wifey and I came out here for a date night and loved it. The staff and food were excellent, we enjoyed the Romeo and Juliet Salad and the Whipped Ricotta & Honey was fantastic (pictured). Great date night spot with the live music.

The toasted ravioli appetizer was amazing followed by the pork chop and potatoes with the bone marrow butter sauce….awesome presentation. My husband had the Toscana Miscela Rossa while I had the Monterey county Chardonnay. Both were excellent. Service and atmosphere is warm, inviting, and relaxing! Live music-talented musician! Anna was our server and Quincy is the manager! Wonderful date night!

Hidden gem outside the heart of Dallas! Overall, we enjoyed visiting Waters Edge Winery & Bistro. We stopped in this place around 2:30pm on a Saturday for a wine tasting & a light lunch and it ended up being exactly what we were looking for! We were the only patrons in at the time of arrival & it appeared that the staff was having a meeting which led to service being a bit sparse but we were understanding & not too needy. I ordered a wine tasting of 3 wines & my friend's each order a tasting of 5 wines. We ordered Parma Fries (incredible), Just the Basics Flatbread, & the Italian Job Charcuterie Board (we added cheese) from the bistro. Everything was delicious, if I am in the area again, I'd be happy to return!

The staff and hospitality was amazing! Food was good. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Our bartender was Jamie and she was just the best. We had a rough day at work, we just moved to area, she gave us great recommendations on what to drink and let us know the details of brunch. I say ask for her and stop by to this great place!

Waters Edge Winery & Bistro is an amazing choice if your in the mood for wine flights. The wine flights are reasonably priced and the pours are better than average. My bestie and I came and had an amazing time. They have happy hour Tuesday - Thursday and Sundays until 6 pm. They also have a Chef's Happy Hour Special that consists of 5 pours and 5 bites for $35 for one person or $60 for two. The bites consist of stuffed mushrooms, deviled eggs, toasted ravioli, and parma frites with mini fondue. On Wednesdays they have "Wine Down Wednesdays" and offer 25% off glasses of wine and bottles. I highly recommend Waters Edge Winery & Bistro.

I stopped in for happy hour. 2 glasses of wine for $20. I got a sangria and something else. The staff was very friendly. They have brunch and so many activities throughout the week. They also have a wine membership. I'll definitely return.

What a pleasant surprise! The restaurant is elegant and fantastic! The decor was extremely nice and inviting! Food excellent! Service the best in the area! This area has nothing like it! The ambiance is fenomenal with the water fall sound in the background! It has live music later in the day (Jazz). We will definitely be back with friend for a nice quiet meal and drinks!!! Review long overdue but we have been a few times and enjoyed each visit. Lots of great events happening weekly and you just can't beat the live music, ambiance, and of course the wine!! Service has always been attentive and fantastic and everyone genuinely seems to love working there. Looking forward to more date nights at this neighborhood spot. Plenty of gluten free options and the food selection is wonderful paired with the wine. We will be back!

I can't say enough great things about Waters Edge Winery & Bistro! From the moment you walk in, there's an elegant yet relaxed vibe that instantly makes you want to stay awhile. Crafted in-house from globally sourced grapes, and every glass I've had so far has been delicious. The food? Absolutely exquisite. This place has a lot of potential but I have to write an honest review. The ambiance is great - obviously a lot of attention to detail and decor. And the food was really good - the flatbreads and handhelds were excellent. However, a group of 5 of us were there for lunch and despite being the only ones in the restaurant the food took a very long time to come out, it wasn't all brought at once, and the last to come out (not exaggerating, at least 20 minutes after everyone else) was wrong. To be fair, they did comp our whole meal but by that point we were about to walk out. They were very nice and apologized profusely but it was just painful.

Wishing great things for Waters Edge. I live in the neighborhood so I stopped in with family this past Friday night. What a treat. Andy greeted us and gave some great info about the concept and was very engaging! We had a great experience for the rest of the night with Fernando, our server. He was very attentive and also a joy to talk with. We even met chef Jace who came by the table to check on us personally and share some more info about the food. The food was wonderful! A great time for a few snacks and a wine flight or sharing plates for dinner. Everyone seemed to be enjoy themselves including the staff! We will be back! Special thanks to Andy, Fernando, and Jace! Super cute winery/restaurant with lots of different wines, beers, etc. Excellent food by Chef Jace! Plenty of gluten free options, highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms and the Ahi Tuna!! Delicious!!

This new restaurant in the Lake Highlands area, is absolutely lovely. We went for brunch on a Sunday, they have a two entrées and a bottle of Prosecco brunch special for $44. Who could beat that! The food was extraordinarily good. The chef came and spoke to us about upcoming events and special menu features. She was lovely and very excited to be in the neighborhood. We highly recommend we will be back soon!

This place is amazing! The owner, Kate has created a fabulous place. The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable. The food and drinks are excellent! We went last week one night and then went again on Sunday. Support local business and this new gem!! Will be going weekly! Highly recommend!

First trip of many to this sweet little Lake Highland's find! Water's Edge is delightful! We enjoyed sharing the dip trio and a flatbread with pepperoni. It was delicious and the service was so good. Fernando did a great job of taking care of us. We even get a chance to talk to the owner. Looks like we'll be coming back to this little find in Lake Highlands.!

First time here and I have to say, awesome!!! Great vibe with the live music (which was fabulous) and the kind servers. Everyone seemed to be having fun and the food was excellent! This place is new and I truly hope it sticks around. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend trying it out. Of course. The wine was amazing too. Go see for yourself!

Really nice fancy decor, all new. Upscale but approachable bites, with good pricing. Anna at the bar knows the wines and super friendly. They support small winery's, we had a flight of five to get to know the flavors. Support the locals.

So happy to discover Waters Edge. Great food, good wine selection, elegant design and nice vibe where the music is good but doesn't make conversation difficult. Monthly deviled egg specials! Brussels sprouts and mushroom appetizers are delicious. Definitely recommend this nice addition for the Lake Highlands restaurant options!

So excited for a wine & bistro in LH! Food is amazing, stuffed mushrooms are the chef's "babies" and are amazing! They didn't have the regular champagne for the mimosa's, so they upgraded the bottle we got at $0 charge. This one is worth the try!
