Our family has eaten at Watershed probably a dozen times over the last couple years and the food and service is always consistently excellent. The tasting menu for $55 is a good deal. My wife and son tell me how good their cocktails are here (I’m more of a wine person) and even my younger son loves how they can make many of them as mocktails. We highly recommend Watershed.

Made reservations at Watershed for their Valentine’s Day Dinner set menu, and it was definitely worth it. Our server asked right off the bat if there are any dietary restrictions, and when this was shared, she immediately discussed this with the chef who was able to change the dish to meet my dietary restriction (replaced beef tartare with a beet tartare and maintained the overall look and taste of the dish!). We had the paired cocktails with the set menu which were all unique and complimented the food well. Although the location is in a random alley, the place is much bigger than expected and has such a nice ambiance to it with comfortable seating.

Wow, went in for the Sunday supper. Beef rib night. And chef Matty and crew absolutely knocked it out of the park. Amazing cocktails, seeing the distillery through the windows was cool, and the food absolutely top notch. Those Brussels sprouts were crisp and sweet and a little spiced and delicious. I’ve also never had a beef rib like that. It was so tender and perfectly smoked and flavored. My wife loved the icecream dessert too.Nice job!

Google
Dined here for our 5 year anniversary. Our server was very welcoming and friendly. The Caesar salad was the best I have ever had. We added shredded short rib to both of our entrees (mushroom pasta & grilled zucchini) which was delicious!! Their craft cocktails were unique and flavorful as well. The icing on the cake was the hand written card they gave us with a gift card inside for our anniversary. Great experience overall and we would definitely return!

Google
Top tier flavor profiles in drink and food. This includes non-alcoholic cocktails or "Mocktails". A rustic, modern bar with private outdoor seating and indoor seating that has a full view of their stills which is cool. Drinks: Great. I got a "thats all right folks" in Alcoholic, theb my second in non-alcoholic. I actually liked both equally. The alcoholic is made with their own brandy and they balance it well. The n/a was really good and had a great cherry quality without being too simple. Food: Got brussels sprouts, bread, and market fish which was halibut. The brussels was very well done - perfect texture and well balanced with sweet and acidity. The skins were not mushy or overdone, but weren't underdone as if gnawing on uncooked roots. Very good. Bread - butter was red onion and jam I think was a seasonal fall profile like a spiced apple butter. I highly recommend this dish. It's extremely well done. My fish dish was absolutely fantastic. It comes with spinach and yoghurt and pistachio. This dish was absolutely astounding. The only item for improvement was portion size - a halibut for nearly 40 bucks I recommend a larger portion size. Luckily, my fellow diner had way too much food so I finished off their fries. Fellow diner got the kb burger. While the flavor was good (I didnt try, just relaying), ingredients resulted in a product far too wet and ended up being visibly soggy even to me. I saw the bread moosh up so they recommended doing a more solid cheese and sticking to onion instead of onion jam. The fries were good, but definitely on the salty side. Definitely expensive but they certainly take pride in their work. I just recommend a few improvements because it was so expensive.

I’ve been here three times. The first time I thought it was great, the second I got drinks and appetizers and the third I had dinner with a few friends. Overall this place isn’t a regular jaunt. Most recently I found the food to be particularly unimpressive (with the exception of the fritters), and extremely overpriced.

Google
This was such a disappointment. We ordered our first round of drinks, which I got a N.A. bee’s knees and my husband got one of the specialty cocktails. Please tell me why a drink that was comprised of no spirits more expensive than my husband’s cocktail. It tasted like watered down lemonade. My husband said his cocktail was very disappointing. Our service was not very good. We were asking about the chef’s tasting and went to ask a question, and our waitress interrupted and rudely said, “We don’t have that.” And offered no apologies and reacted the same way to another question we had. We got the chef’s tasting. The food was not good. My kale on my salad needed to be massaged much more (it was as if they just threw it on the plate) and it was hardly anything else. My husband’s wings were not crispy. For the second course, I chose the halibut and my husband got the braised short ribs. The carrots on my plate were completely undercooked. The fish was okay. My husband said the short ribs were good, but the cabbage was either raw or burnt, very randomly cooked. For dessert he chose the apply crumble and it was okay. It needed a reprieve from how sweet it was, such as salt or lemon zest. We had to wait a very long time between each course, and it typically wasn’t our waitress who brought food by or to check on us. It is extremely loud inside. We were on the verge of shouting to hear each other. Extremely disappointed, and we will not be back. I have been also sharing with friends and family as I do not want them to waste their money. We would have been better off saving $160 and just getting McDonald’s.

Went for a birthday dinner, so a special occasion. For 4 the bill was ~260 without tip. Included 2 appetizers, 2 3-course dinners, a couple of cocktails and 2 of their bourbon flights. The food was outstanding and service very good.

Yelp
This was recommended as a "hidden gem" and I agree. To my surprise their menu included decent size entrees, as opposed to tapas, which is what I would expect at a distillery. We started with the chicken wings as an appetizer - 10/10. Great flavor and texture. Duck Fried Rice - 9/10. More wild rice and a decent serving size of duck, which I enjoyed. Braised Short Rib - 10/10. Wasn't expecting the flavor and tenderness that came with it. It's a good choice for a date night, but beware that the tables are close together so you can hear the conversations next to you, unless you don't mind having to lean in to whisper.

Yelp
Watershed's happy hour is a great way to try a selection of their cocktails for cheap, but this visit was during the dinner hours. It was still a good time. The weather was warm, so the windows were open. Super cool vibe and my server was astute in his knowledge of the visually engaging and ample cocktail menu. There's something for every type of spirit preference and flavor profile. I went with the tried and true old fashioned. Burger and fries were good... I'd say better than the Braised Short Rib. Brussels Sprouts, Homemade Bread & Spreads, and Crispy Polenta are a must in my opinion. Finished up with a German Chocolate Cake because it's one of my favorites in life. It looked and sounded good, but the taste wasn't worth the cost. Overall, Watershed remains my favorite Columbus distillery.

Yelp
Another amazing visit, this time during happy hour. We sat at the bar and had wonderful service. There are several cocktails on the HH menu as well as couple food items. The bees knees was delicious as well as all the food options we ordered. We always have to try the bread because the seasonal jam is always so incredible. This visit it was passion fruit and oh my, that may be my new favorite. Drinks and food here are some of the best in the city!

Yelp
I have heard great things about Watershed's restaurant, so I purchased a Columbus Independents' $50 half-price gift certificate. I took my mother for a Tuesday night dinner and was very happy I finally got a chance to see what this establishment is all about. It was not crowded at all when we arrived, but by the time we left around 6:45, it had definitely filled in nicely. Our waiter gentleman was great. Very relaxed friendly personality, explained some things on their usually-seasonally-changing menu, checked on us throughout the evening, even pointed out we would save a few dollars buying a la cart, not going with their Chef's Tasting Menu. My mother tried their "Now That's What I Call Tea" drink - basically, their take on the Moscow Mule, but served in a tea cup (the going rage). It was great, went down mouth but still had a prominent lemon fizz to it. Highly recommend. We started off with the Fried Brussels Sprouts, Vegetable Fritters, 1145 Salad and shared their K+B Burger. The three apps alone I could indulge in daily, no questions! The black pepper honey (base) and lemon (acidic) counter-balanced perfectly. Also loved the small size of the sprouts, excellent roasted flavor. The vegetable fritter is huge and very good. A flavorful light tempura coating, this dish came out hot and delish! I loved the fried broccolini and onions. The three dipping sauces were also excellent - kudos to the onion chutney. Without even asking, our waiter had our 1145 Salad split and served on two separate plates, a small touch that's always so thoughtful, imo. And the salad was wonderful, too. I like that they don't use the prickly kale kind, and the toppings mixed really well. The tasty dressing was lite and tossed throughout (not overpowering). Once again, without us even mentioning it, our burger was split and separately plated when brought out with a healthy amount of fresh hot fries on each plate. The burger was excellent! The gooey cheese was wonderful, and the lamb/beef patty was so good. I literally had 3-4 fries I was so full, but they were excellent in my breakfast hash a few days later. We had a great evening - I'm kinda bummed it took me so long to finally try WKB, and I definitely won't let that happen again. Kudos to the staff and kitchen!

Yelp
After the most enlightening and entertaining sampling & tour of the distillery, I had the pleasure of having a three course meal that was amazing. Our service was prompt, professional and courteous. And I love the classy way Watershed brings the distillery into the restaurant. It's worth saying again, the food was absolutely delicious! I'll be back

Yelp
Such a fun date night spot! The bar has the best vibes. I love their vinyl record themed menus. Every cocktail is mindfully crafted and unique. Too difficult to name a favorite, you cannot go wrong! Bartenders are super friendly and helpful.

Yelp
The staff was quick and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the freshly made bread with spreads, which were both flavorful. Added bonus, the bread is made with spent grain from the distillery. The Panzanella salad I had was fantastic too. It was a delightful lunch in a beautifully decorated space.

Yelp
Dark ceiling, dark walls, candle lit tables.... Soft funky music. Great place for a date night. We came here on the distillery trail and sat at the bar. Fletcher and Jonathan took great care of everyone at the bar. We ordered a Guayaba Cobbler, Ikigai, and the barrel aged old fashioned. The Ikigai is brown butter washed WS bourbon, Japanese whiskey, sherry, salted syrup, plum wine and coffee. It was complex. Not for everyone. The cobbler was very sweet. Presentation is excellent but I didnt like the rum element to the drink. It had a dry bitterness to it. The old fashioned was the winner. The couple next to us had wings, fingerling potatoes and fresh bread/dips and OMG their dishes looked amazing.

Yelp
Watershed continues to impress. Last night we came here for dinner late, and both the cocktails and the food were outstanding. My spritz was delicious although it was on the sweeter side so may not be for everyone. The dusted cauliflower is huge for an appetizer, and was excellent. The duck and dumplings was pretty good as well. The short ribs was truly outstanding. Service was excellent as always.

Yelp
I went to Watershed Kitchen and Bar this week with a few of my friends and had a FANTASTIC time. The restaurant itself was kinda hard to find because it is hidden in the back of some buildings and I felt like I was in the wrong place when I arrived. I have seen this distillery brand all around Columbus, but have yet to be able to go to this restaurant because I did not realize it existed. Definitely must check out if you love their brand. My friends, and I seated in the way back where I couldn't find them, but once told the lady in the shop, she was able to help me find my friends. Our waiter knew exactly what we wanted to order by offering suggestions that fit a larger group. I highly recommend the Crispy Tempura Cauliflower. The Watershed Distillery Bourbon ginger glaze, cilantro, sesame made the cauliflower something to crave. We also got the following appetizers as well but none were as amazing as the cauliflower. We enjoyed the fried Brussel sprouts, homemade bread and spread and the crispy fingerling potatoes. If you're going to get an appetizers my top two were cauliflower and the potatoes. My drink however was not my favorite. I got the Piri Piri Spritz in the Africa section. This cocktail came with Rosé wine, Cocchi Americano Bianco, Sour Piri Piri Plum Shrub, Lemon sorbet, and Prosecco. The drink was mixed perfectly, but it was way too sweet and reminded me of manischewitz. Please let me know if you get that reference. Overall, I would love to go back with a group and try more drinks! The food was great but a little pricey, but that's what you get for going to a cute Little distillery restaurant.

Yelp
While visiting Columbus, my family and I had dinner at Watershed Kitchen and Bar. Unsure of their parking situation, we rideshared to the restaurant. They have a fairly large parking lot. When you enter the establishment, you'll notice their gift shop that sells apparel, gifts, and spirits. Prior to ordering drinks, I asked if they offered tasting flights of all their spirits. I found out that they only offer bourbon tasting flights. I hope that they expand to include their other spirits like strawberry flavored gin. It was hard to taste the strawberry flavored gin in the Strawberry Fields cocktail as the ouzo took over the whole flavor of the cocktail. It was cool that their cocktails had a 90's theme to them. Among the five of us, we had six cocktails including DIY Basement Show, I'll Be Here Awhile, New Kid Ink Album, Nihilist Daydream, Strawberry Fields, and Zig A Zig Ah. Before our food arrived, we had to move from their patio into their dining room due to a thunderstorm. It was nice that they had a table inside to accommodate our party. For dinner, we shared two appetizers (e.g., Vegetable Fritters and Housemade Bread & Spread), two salads (e.g., Grilled Caesar Salad and Panzanella Salad), and three entrees (e.g., Braised Short Rib, Market Fish, and Mushroom Pasta). I loved how each dish was innovative in terms of combination of seasoning, flavors, and ingredients! Unlike most restaurant breads, their bread was made from bourbon mash grain blend. It kind of reminded me of Guinness bread. This Grilled Caesar Salad was unique in the sense that it was made with purple cabbage instead of romaine or kale. Unlike most Persian fish dishes, this Market Fish was a halibut instead of salmon or striped bass. Unlike most Mushroom pastas, they used a blend of roasted oyster and cremini mushrooms. By the time we finished our meal, we had no more room for dessert. Next time, I hope to try their Duck Breast and K+B Burger!

Yelp
I was so looking forward to my return to the watershed with my family who live in Columbus. We were seated in seats next to the stools at the bar. All seats at the bar were occupied. Our server, Jill greeted us and took our order. My son wanted to order fish bites and we were informed that that item is only available at the bar. We pleased our case as we are next to the bar and this is coming from the kitchen and we are not taking about happy hour item. After much complaining by us and watching our server and manager talking and looking at our table I finally sat at the bar, ordered the fish bites and another drink, I placed the items at our table. This all happened before our food order arrived at our own table. The policy of this restaurant is not based on customer service, I was able to take care our table without the help of the server or manager. The food we ordered, wings, fritters, market fish was delicious.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for a long time, but never had the opportunity. It is hidden away, but the directions take you right there. Plenty of parking, which is a plus in this area. They have a "travel the world" themed drink menu. I got a few drinks from Mexico. It is a fun concept to be able to try drinks from different regions. The table split confit wings, bread and spread and cauliflower for starters. We loved the wings. I really liked the spread for the bread. It was butter and an olive tapenade. The cauliflower was okay. It could have used more sauce, more flavor. We had the burger and short rib. We thought the burger was delicious! It had a creamy cheese sauce and caramelized onions on top. The short rib was okay. Not as tender as I'd prefer. Our service was very good. Lots of seating and it was neat you could see into the distillery.

Yelp
So, stop waiting until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until winter, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink.... there is no better time than right now to be happy.
google avatar

Sara I.

Yelp
Restaurant reeked of rubbing alcohol smell that was very noticeable... it was bad. I understand it's a distillery, but other distilleries don't smell so bad. I ordered the mushroom pasta which was descent and the Basque Cheesecake was weird. The cheesecake just didn't go together, it had popcorn and a fruit spread on it. Just weird. Don't bother. It's sad because I was looking forward to coming here for dinner because I've enjoyed coming here for cocktails in the past. The service was sad as well, she completely forgot I ordered dessert. Now they are doing cocktails around the world, sadly none looked appealing. Overall just disappointed.

Yelp
Incredible and inventive- with great service and ambiance. I was looking for a cool upscale place to try and a lot of them have the same boring menus. I was so excited to see their menu online and was even more giddy with I saw their incentive cocktail menu that has cocktails from all over the world. Honestly, almost everything was very good . I went in a group of 3 and we all got the three course tasting menu so we tried 3 apps, 3 entrees and 3 desserts. We also each got a cocktail. Our opinions on the cocktails varied a lot but they were all tasty, pick what you like and you can't go wrong! The great Apps: the potatoes and the wings. Both increíble. The wing sauce was lovely really standout. Entree: the pork chops. A sleeper favorite. We almost didn't get this and it was so good. The sauces and purées it came with really elevated it. It was also a great portion size. Dessert: both the chocolate ice cream and the haystack were very good The okay App: The beet salad- it was only okay. I love a beet salad but this just wasn't the good mix of sweet and tangy I want. They make their own ricotta which was lovely. The beets and arugula were tasty. But the dressing was sour. And there was too much of it. It was fine but I would never get it again Entree: the brisket. It was tasty. Again the stars were the sauces. I would have liked the meat itself to be more tender but the sauces and the sides really made up for it Items that fell flat Entree: the fish. The plating was very pretty. It just wasn't very good. I would actually wager to say I've had better salmon at outback..... I would recommend against this entree. The purées didn't really go with it well either. It was bland and over cooked. No crispy salmon skin either. Dessert: the cheesecake. They do some sort of fancy cheesecake thing.... and it was salty? I would pass on this and also never recommend it The only reason they don't get 5/5 is because in such a small menu I kind of want every dish to be a stunner, and some fell really flat. But I really enjoyed my experience and will be back.
google avatar

Madison S.

Yelp
We love the cocktails here! And I recently dined in and everything was super tasty. If you're looking to get apps, the crispy potatoes and fried Brussels sprouts were my fav! For the entree, I loved my mushroom salad. We saw the burger going by and that look delicious too. One downfall is that the Happy Hour deals are only at the bar and from 5-6. The cocktails are $10 vs the normal $14-16 range.

Yelp
So lol. Most of my reviews are when I have an amazingly disappointed experience and this will be an exception. Soooo let's see here- service was amazing and too tier. The waiter knew the dishes and explained how they were made / conceived and he was prompt with drink orders. Food wise- we got the crispy polenta- so honestly it was pretty mid. It was more of an execution thing. The oil wasn't hot enough or something- but they picked up a lot of the oil and left a really oily kinda bitter taste to some of the polenta. The bigger cubes absorbed less oil and combined with the two sauces gave a really nice bite. Onto the entree. I had the pork steak- I'm from Chicago and I've been to Avec- Band of Bohemia- and other Michelin starred restaurants- when I say this dish is the best thing I've eaten in four years.... It literally was amazing. The rice-!the char on the pork steak and how it was juicy inside. The saltiness of the gravy- marched the collard greens which were cooked perfectly. It all came together to make one incredibly delicious bite. Honestly one of the best meals I've had in my life and I have been to a bunch of foodie / destination spots. Come here please. lol.

Esther G.

Yelp
We sat in a nice booth away from the bar which was noisy. Our server Barry was great but we were quite disappointed with our meal. My daughter ordered the mushroom pasta that was extremely salty- like someone had an accident with the salt! She sent it back and the next version was told no additional salt was added. It was better but not great. We figured out the arugula they mixed into it had lots of salt added as I had it on top of the halibut I ordered which was tasty except for the salty arugula! Someone is salt crazy in the kitchen. Why add so much salt when the customer can add more if they want?! The bread with spreads we ordered was tasty and the vegetable fritters were not worth the cost. They comped us the cost of the fritters because of the salt issue. I would not go back to this place unless it was just for drinks.

Yelp
Several time visitor but first since Covid. Glad they came thru intact. Plenty of reviews so check those out too. Food continues to be stellar, although a smallish but tight menu. The cocktail booklet is among the best I've seen as a drink menu. Prices have gone to a way different level; $23 for a smashburger? Seems we all have to get used to new pricing at our fave restaurants post-Covid. Everyone has to decide what is too high i guess. If noise is an issue ask to sit in the way back rooms. That will help. It's a noisy place. Tylor served us well. I gather he was new to his job, but he worked hard to please. Stellar bathrooms, thanks for that. We are fans. PS. I left with a bottle of their vodka!

Yelp
This was a hidden gem! The atmosphere was cozy and nostalgic. We sat at the bar and the service was great from the bartenders. We decided to do the chef menu and chose a starter, entree and dessert. The wings were sooo good! I got the mushroom pasta which was so rich and creamy. My husband got the duck which was tender and flavorful. Finished it off with the apple crisp!

Yelp
Wow!!! This place is a must! Exceptional service food and atmosphere. Each part of the building is a whole new vibe. They have a 3 course meal for $55/person which is a wonderful deal. I got the potatoes, market fish (halibut), and the apple dessert. My husband got the chicken wings, bone in pork chop and the frozen dessert. Literally everything complimented the next dish! Oh, we also had their bread and butter which was fantastic! Not only that but their drink menu was very different and their drinks were great. We will definitely be back! It was a great place for our wedding anniversary and a tradition now. Of course they have bottles for purchase as well. A culinary experience everyone should taste!

Yelp
Horrible experience. I was in the area yesterday and thought I would stop in and use a gift card that I had for this place. I looked online and saw that I couldn't get a reservation until after 9:00. That was my fault as I should have planned better. I stopped in a little bit before 4:30 knowing that the restaurant wasn't opening until 5:00. I was warmly greeted and spent a few minutes looking throughout the shop. They have plenty of cool merchandise and bottles of alcohol for sale. I really liked the look of this place. I asked if I could use the gift card to buy a bottle and was told it couldn't be used on alcohol; which is understandable. The lady at the register told me I could come back after 5:00 pm and the bar seats are first come, first serve. I came back to the restaurant a few minutes before 5 pm and was really looking forward to eating here. When I walked in, all the bar seats were taken. I asked if I could use the gift card on one of the candles they sold in the store and was told I could. I handed them my credit card, as the candle cost more then the $25 gift card that I had. There were multiple people working at the counter and when I was handed my receipt, I was charged over $30 on my credit card. When I asked about the gift card, the lady told me it was only good for the restaurant (which I couldn't get seated in). I asked for my money back and was told they would need to go get someone else to apply the credit. As several other groups came into the restaurant and were seated, I waited another several minutes before someone was able to apply the credit back to my card. As a food blogger, I was really looking forward to eating here. I left the gift card on the counter since I had a hard time using it, and I don't plan to come back.

Yelp
The BURGER. Best burger I have ever had. The tomato chutney, caramelized onions and Brie were so messy and so dang good. My mom had the braised short rib and she not only took every bite of leftovers home but said she would come back again to order it. I live in Cincinnati but I would drive 2 hours for that burger. This restaurant will be a must visit the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Finally found a place with the best fried cauliflower . Now one usually wouldn't say that about a bar but man I had to haha. Love watershed with their delicious cocktails and ambiance. You feel comfortable inside and at the same time you want to party. They have plenty of parking around and inside lots of dining tables and private rooms and large bar seating. We came for a quick Bite and beer on our way home. We got the fried cauliflower and the chicken wings. Both were executed perfectly and can't wait to go back for more of this Asian inspired fare. Of course the staff are always hospitable and our bartender Fletcher was super friendly and entertaining. Highly recommend for any occasion

Yelp
I have more video than I do of the food. Love the service and the ambiance. It was intimate and cozy feel when you walk in. The drinks are amazing. They have a drink tour of different countries they are highlighting, that is named after a specific animal of that country. There's a cute booklet of the tour. Very well done. The food was amazing as well, this is more of an adult scene than a family with kids scene. Luckily my kids are grown and they weren't crying screaming. This place would be a great place to take on a first date. Highly recommend

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner here for a birthday. The food was delicious and I loved the CYOA style drink menu. Special thanks and gratitude to our waiter Justin who went out of his way to make sure my wife knew which food and drinks she could have due to an unusual allergy (orange). He had the chef mark up the menu with what items she could and couldn't have and was very accommodating. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Hubby and I stopped here after we had dinner at another location. He was wanting to try some bourbon, so we snagged the last place at the bar. He ordered the bourbon flight, and I had an old fashioned. Hubby really enjoyed the flight, and I thought my old fashioned was pretty watered down. Then I ordered a cocktail by the name of Ikigai and I actually returned it. Was not very good. Not sure what was the problem with it was, but no way could I drink it. The bartender said it is a hit n miss with the customers. He ended up taking it off our bill after several hints. The food menu looks good, and we talked about coming one night for dinner. I will say the bartenders need to step it up and be a little more friendly. We always choose to sit at the bar for the interaction. But not here. :)

Yelp
After seeing it on social media, I've been wanting to go try it for awhile. I was sad because we went right after a menu change, and it was the previous drink menu that was really calling me to visit. The new menu didn't seem as exciting to me, but that's more because of personal drink preferences. We went on a Saturday around 6pm, and were able to be immediately seated at the bar. The location is on the smaller side but the vibes are amazing. I love that there's no TVs so you can really just focus on communicating with your company. We specifically went for drinks, no food. However we saw other people's food that looked phenomenal. It took awhile for us to get our drinks ordered, and I do feel like we weren't checked on as often as we get at other locations. Usually we get asked how we like a drink or if it tastes okay, and we never got that once during our visit. The first drinks my husband and I got was minideth and that's all folk. Minideth was pretty good as well as that's all folks. My husband didn't like all the ice in minideth but overall both were solid drinks. Next he got an old fashioned and I got Ruby My Dear. He thought the old fashioned was pretty good, just a classic old fashioned. I absolutely loved Ruby My Dear, the drink was amazing. My only complaint was that the ice they used was too big for the glass so everytime I'd go to drink it I'd be sucking in the ice and not the drink. I'd have to hold the ice back to get to the drink. A sphere ice cube might've worked better, or a larger cup so my lip isn't right up against the ice cube. For our last drinks I got the espresso martini and my husband got Bourbon Street Brass band. The martini was the best espresso martini I've ever had and was definitely the highlight of the trip for me. My husband hated the drink he ordered, but when he was able to stop someone they allowed him to exchange it out for something else which was very nice of them! He got DIY Basement Show to replace that drink and liked it a lot better. Overall the drinks were great, they did feel a bit overpriced for the size of some of them, but we will definitely back to try again next menu change.

Yelp
Went here for a friend's birthday and the service and staff were amazing! We split the brussel sprouts and hush puppies as a starter and both were super yummy. Loved the dipping sauce for the hush puppies. The cocktails were never ending and so so good. I recommend the Zacatuche, the Guayaba Cobbler and Piri Piri Spritz if you're into fruity drinks. Had the burger for my main and it was honestly one of the best burgers I've had in awhile! Also loved all the cowboy decor.

Yelp
Came here when the wait at High Banks was too much and we were craving brussel sprouts. Overall - they're good, but they shine in their drinks. Their food is a bit too ostentatious for me - the "everything must be a unique take, a unique presentation, unique ingredient twist." There is nothing wrong with that, it's just that the flavors didn't land with me in a "that was an amazing flavor experience and worth the price of admission." It was more "it was interesting, but every time I leave I wish I spent that amount somewhere else on food that tantalized my tastebuds." Maybe I'm basic. Maybe I'm not hip enough. It's not bad, by any means, it's just not my cup of tea.

Yelp
Watershed is our favorite restaurant. Lately they've made three decisions that disappoint. 1. The hush puppies are vegetarian now- the taste factor is no longer worth the calories. Won't order again. 2. The tomato salad- very expensive for its size. It's a tasty salad with a beautiful Mix of greens. The dressing fades and adds little other than texture. It is so Small for $13. You could use a whole tomato for that price, really. Won't order again. 3. Bourbon dinner menu- nope. The half and half based cocktail at the start was the highlight. Dish one was good to excellent. The textures were lovely together and flavors were balanced. Hallibut was ok- the sauce was good and the fish was cooked well. Just not excellent. Duck- EXCELLENT. Do it. Yes yes yes. If they put this on the menu I would switch from my Normal burger or short rib. All other dishes were just overdone. Intensely mismatched flavors. The lotus chips were good as themselves. The sauce was a harsh contrast and entirely too intense for such a salty chip. Blech. The cheesecake was bland and the bourbon sauce was a complete mismatch. I will always choose Watershed for its cocktails. It's 'free styling' menu is a miss. I'd much rather go to a wine dinner at LaPlas than another tasting dinner. It's a pity. Maybe practice the menu and test it outside your normal palettes. Burger- still best in town. Hands down. I will always come for it. Short rib - still gets me to the restaurant when I start thinking about it. Cocktail game - top tier. Complex flavors and drink adventures. I got the menu autographed! Cocktails, burger and short rib are the reason to go to watershed. It's worth every pricey penny. Just watch out for the Babe Ruth style bloopers

Yelp
The food is great but pricey for what it is--they are also particular about substitutions so I recommend checking out the menu before you go. I do think their cocktails could be better & more creative considering this is a distillery. Service is fine. Ambiance is great overall just tables are so close together. I'd still go back, just not a place I'd frequent or a first choice.

Yelp
Amazing, great selection of dishes and drinks, always accommodating staff for bigger parties. Will come back. Well priced.

Yelp
We split the burger and the breads and spreads. The spreads were I think eggplant or some kind of hummus, and an herby cilantro dip. My friend loved these. The burger was super flavorful and unique toppings even though I usually get a classic burger. I would make this a double burger though, it seemed small. The cocktails were very well balanced and unique. We usually like to sit at the bar if we get the chance anywhere we dine since bartenders usually are very knowledgeable and friendly. I hate to say it but the bartender was not at all friendly, he did not smile or welcome us or give us recommendations and we felt a little like they wanted us to leave. There was another person working the bar who was more friendly. I'm glad I caught a mistake in the bill after my friend paid because our charge was about double what it should have been.

Yelp
Cocktail menu Is amazing and it's challenging to pick just one drink. Their version of a gimlet is delicious and my husband really enjoyed his bourbon. We did the restaurant week menu and the portions were perfect. The summer salad has the fruit nut mix that adds so much flavor. The Brussels and broccolini were equally flavorful. Wish the swordfish had been less salty. I could have eaten the entire plate of potatoes but I exercised self control

Yelp
I have had to dine here on multiple occasions. It would be kind to call the food mediocre. I would not deign to call their alcohol mediocre, as that would be an overstatement. If you like overpriced, poorly designed dishes for a dead palate, and alcohol that is better suited for purging wounds, this is the place for you.

Yelp
Food was great, service was inattentive and slow. Waited a long time for food, had to go to the bar and get our own drinks. Finally went to the bar to pay because it felt like we were forgotten.

Yelp
Finally visited this spot and it was an all around great experience. From the ambiance of the place to the huge list of cocktails and deliciously prepared food, it was a win. Visited on a Sunday evening, we were seated quickly, our server was very polite and knowledgeable of the menu and distillery. The cocktail menu is well balanced and innovative, there is something for everyone. We had The orca (a tequila forward refreshing drink) and the starter jacket (a bourbon featured cocktail). For dinner service , we started with the Brussel sprouts and Hushpuppies (a favorite), and for our main dishes, the steak and the short rib. Perfectly cooked, tasty flavors and great portions. This place is now on the top of our date night list.

Yelp
Very glad this place is back open! Surprised my boyfriend (whiskey lover) with this outing. We mainly visited for drinks and ate only appetizers. We ordered the Whiskey lullaby and Money Pitch as drinks and Fried Brussels and potatoes as appetizers. Parking: ample parking spaces near the restaurant. Ambience: dim light theme with a mini store at the front of the restaurant with tshirts/swag and bourbon for purchase. Their restrooms are near and organized. They have indoor and outdoor dining, bar seating, and high table standing options. Service: Exceptional. Derek Taylor was our server. He was well versed in the menu and drinks (he even participated in creating a drink that's on the menu). Quality: drinks were delicious. Want to try uniquely designed and tasting cocktails, this is the place for you. The appetizers were okay- just okay. Covid precautions: none Price: $$ designer, high quality drinks are pricey but absolutely worth it!

Yelp
We love this place. Very unique food and drinks but always tasty and a good time. The servers have always been good at making recommendations.
