Wawa Opens Its Fifth D.C. Store For Sandwiches, Coffee in Adams Morgan - Eater DC
"Wawa, the Pennsylvania-based quick stop shop for subs, pretzels, and coffee that Philadelphians embrace with a rabid intensity, is opening its fifth D.C. store today at 4 p.m. in Adams Morgan (2424 18th Street NW). The chain will host a grand opening celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. and will be giving away free coffees through Sunday, September 29. There will also be a community lantern lighting to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light the Night DC Walk. Washington City Paper has reported that not everyone in the neighborhood is thrilled about the arrival." - Gabe Hiatt

There were three young women working at Wawa tonight, Latonya, Bianca and Kisha. They were amazing at their jobs while keeping huge smiles on their faces. Thank you so much ladies for being a part of the frontline with beautiful smiles. Smoothies were amazing!! I will surely be back!!

Very bright large and open Wawa. People were nice and food is good. Very convenient and open 24 hours. They had a very nice Grand Opening with freebies and Slapshot of Washington Capitals.

Wawa is such a great addition to the neighborhood. It has every snack you could ask for, phenomenal ala carte coffee bar, and made to order food. What more could you ask for? Oh, friendly staff? Absolutely. It is such a delight to walk in!

Best WaWa in DC right now. The staff are always friendly and the store is always clean. I wish I could say the same about other locations. Definitely make sure to stop in if you are in AdMo.

Im giving it one star for the good food you guys prepare but the bad review is due to the fact that when i went in today i saw alot of the cdc guide lines not being follow their where two employees without mask on and walking around the food line one of them was a barista the other just step into the back and went threw to towards the back like they didnt know that on the front door it says wear a mask.
