Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski on His New Restaurant, Recipes, and More | Eater

"An uptown restaurant owned by Lisle Richards and Eric Marx known for more decadent fare but also for being flexible enough to produce lighter, health-forward dishes on request (for example, grilled fish with roasted Brussels sprouts or fibrous vegetables with a poached egg); it served as an informal gathering spot for a workout group and helped inspire the idea for a feel-good, non-carb-coma-focused restaurant." - Greg Morabito

Our move-in experience at Wayfarer was excellent! From start to finish, the team made us feel genuinely special and taken care of. They were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making the process smooth and stress-free. There were some technical issues processing our application, but once we connected, everything was handled quickly and with care. Overall, it felt like they truly cared about making our transition into the building a great one. Highly recommend the Wayfarer team for how professional, welcoming, and kind they are!

Best Apartment Best Amenities. This place is top notch from the spacious layouts and vast options to choose what your looking for. I had 3 days to find a place to live moving from out of state. Jovan was very helpful with any questions and provided many options for my budget. The Amenities is what I love most the attention to details for the common areas, Gym, game room, roof top, Pickel ball court, pet wash room. Parking spaces available for a monthly fee. Building has a small market right next door and cofeeshops and everything is so close, the international district is less than half a mile walk. Same with pier 52. I would highly recommend this place to consider. The friendly staff and safety for your love ones.

Javon should be cloned — the best agent I’ve ever worked with! Riley brings amazing energy too. The decor is fire from the lobby all the way to the rooftop, and the amenities scream “resort.” The only thing missing is a spa — that would make it more than what it is perfect.

I absolutely loved living in this community. We have been here for a year and are unfortunately ending our lease due to limited space in our current unit. Skylar- the leasing agent- has always been amazing. She is always very responsive and helpful. We have never had to submit a maintenance request throughout the year of living here. The amenities are amazing! We enjoyed the sport court, rooftop, gym, and community garden. The location is just a few steps away to the waterfront and Mariners games. SO FUN!!! However, I have a few issues that made me want to locate elsewhere. 1. There is limited storage space in smaller units 2. Street parking here is such a big issue! There are very limited spaces on the street, and we were only allotted one space in the garage due to our living in a 1 bedroom apartment. 3. There is a vent between the living room and the bedroom for air circulation. Great- but the vent in the bedroom constantly spits out dust over our bed (despite numerous dusting attempts). I have woken up with a stuffy nose too many mornings to count. The bedroom in our particular unit is too small/not functional to rotate the bed in a different direction-away from the vent. While these are minor complaints and are in no way no fault of the staff, they are definitely issues I would have liked to be aware of before signing our lease. Overall, we will miss living at Wayfarer. Thank you for an incredible year!

Two stories. 1. Trespassing. One weekend morning, a maintenance guy entered my unit without permission when I was still asleep. This guy goes "a notice was posted 2 days ago for a pre-inspection." - Fantastic. No call, no text from the management so I can be properly informed of, what if I haven't left the home in the last 48 hours? How hard can it be to send an email? Just a piece of paper they left in the living room when I asked him for 5 minutes so I could get dressed. Imaging being in your bed and hearing some random guy in your bedroom. That's how things can go terribly wrong. 2. Blatant price gouge via their utility vendor Conservice. With this rate, be prepared to see a $300/mo utility bill soon. See for yourself.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the maintenance crew. DJ and Angel stepped up to the plate when it counted. We were without a dryer for over two weeks assuming a specific part was needing to be ordered from a tech. Come to find out after Angel and DJ installed it, the initial tech misdiagnosed the problem and we would have had to go another two weeks without a dryer. Thankfully, DJ and Angel were able to come up with a solution that resulted in our problems being solved SAME DAY. We can now comfortably use our dryer again without having to hang clothes on a ladder in front of the heater or in front of an open window haha. Couldn’t be more grateful for them. Thank you!

Lived there for a year. Excellent facilities and coopertive staff. Gym is probably the best among all apartments buildings in the area. Njce view from elegant rooftop. Area can be somewhat noisy from constant ambulances and fire trucks.

My lease was up for renewal and one of the ladies in the leasing office was extremely rude, condescending and unhelpful when I went in for chat. She would aswer my questions in a very condescending tone and talk over me mid question. When I requested information she made it seem like giving information was above her and made unnecessary assumptions about why I would ask her for that information. My partner was with me and when they tried to ask questions she would interrupt and say “I will only be speaking to the lesser unfortunately”. My partner ended up having to ask me a question to ask her on their behalf while we were all sitting next to each other?!??! I have moved out which is unfortunate because The Wayfarer’s interior and amenities are top notch, but after that experience it is not somewhere I could call home. Aside from that, I have had nothing but good experiences living in The Wayfarer for a year. Edit: Lowering to 1 Star. After moving out, got notified I had to pay $50 and will not get the security deposit back even though there was no damage in the unit. Asked for a breakdown on costs and they said it is because of prorated parking fees. When I had the conversation from my first review, the leasing agent said I could cancel my parking immediately. I left follow up emails to confirm but no response. Even left my keys (unit and garage) in the vacated unit and sent a picture the day after (20 days before I had to vacate the unit) as they requested. When on the phone asking about the charges, the guy (who was also there in the first conversation) said he vaguely remembered the conversation about cancelling parking but their policy is that it has to be 20 days in advance. Never let me know and ignored my emails so continued to pay for parking with no parking access for 20 days. The extra $50 still doesnt add up but they are ignoring my emails and never provided the actual cost breakdown.
