Felt right to stop in after a 7 hour drive. The vibes of the place were great! The staff was really chill so I was grateful I wasn't in a hurry. Food was kinda pricey but also really good. Highly recommend the garlic potato chips dipped in Sriracha Oil!

One of my favorite places to grab a bite. The ambiance and service are incredible. The bar features amazing decorations and provides the perfect amount of light. Highly recommended the walleye from the Friday fish fry and a mug of Grog!

So good and exactly what we were hungry for. The Prime Dip with onions and melty cheese w/ au jus. My sister had the smoked turkey Ruben. The garlic fries and chips were great. My only suggestion is to place the chips on their own plate instead of sharing with the dressed greens and pickle; most of my chips were soggy and not crisp. But the crisp ones were delicious!

Cool place, cool vibes. Great food, great bartender, great drinks at great prices. The kind of place where great conversations and good times happen. The fun and funky door that you'll use whether coming or going (making it feel a little bit like a speakeasy!) sort of says it all!

Google
Neat decor inside with speak easy vibes. The live music playing was extremely loud, which made it hard to converse. However, the food was great! For $19 you get a huge sandwhich, a large side of potatoes of your choice, and a side salad. The garlic potatoes are a must try as well as the bacon potato salad. The walleye sandwich was the perfect amount of spicy and the fish was cooked well. My boyfriend's burger was overcooked a little bit but still very tasty. It's definitely worth checking this place out, there's something on the menu for everyone.

This place is a gem. Upscale pub food with cozy vibe and staff friendly as family. Great tunes always on here and the place is decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and is full of character. Great spot to have a pint and conversation with old friends or a new friend you’d meet at the bar. Great for pre-show hang, family dinner, brunch, and even a first date. Can’t recommend highly enough. Enjoy!

Arrived pretty excited but left pretty disappointed. Fairly easy street parking. Decent selection of local beers but nothing outstanding. Awesome interior and bar area that clearly tell a story with plenty of history and cool swag but it might be too dark inside for some. Folks were friendly enough and we happened to arrive during happy hour which was nice. The food was the disappointing aspect. Everything was a bit bland. The happy hour small bites plates were mostly flavorless but it was the walleye sandwich that was the true bummer. Super small piece of fish about half the size of the brioche bun and salad had no dressing even though the menu stated they use a rotating vinaigrette. For $18 that’s inexcusable. I love places like this and they usually surpass expectations but this is one I won’t return to.

Without a doubt, this restaurant deserves to be on everyone's top 5 list in Madison! It has been one of my favorites for over a decade, and it continues to impress! WTF features a diverse menu that caters to a wide range of tastes while consistently delivering high-quality dishes. Their signature Bob's Bad Breath Burger is a must-try, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything from their menu. Here’s what we enjoyed during our visit: Caesar Salad, Bulgogi Beef Flatbread, Herb-Crusted 16oz Bone-In Steak, Bahn Mi Dynasty Sandwich, and Tres Leches for dessert.

Yelp
A great neighborhood pub which has been a go to for years. I first found it when I was somewhat of a weary traveler myself, having come to Madison to visit for a recruiting visit, and stumbled on it in the dead of January. During the pandemic, it was one of the reliable places to still go out and eat. Solid and even somewhat unique food, and both Danielle and Evan are wonderful and attentive servers. Perfect place for a casual (and tasty) meal and drink; atmosphere has a lot of character.

Yelp
Easy Wisconsin back bay joint. Large bar to eat and swill a beer or glass of wine. I pounded back beers with college students. The staff is a bit too laid back, which knocks a star. The food is really delectable: above average bar food that is served in heaps - not small amounts! Their beers are mixed, both local and out of state. In case you have questions about, drinks; just ask, the staff knows their drinks and dishes. It has some quaint 2-top tables, if you need a more date like atmosphere. There's no view from the bar, but I (of course) got my food faster than table-dining people who ordered way before me. Excellent meats, beers, burgers, fish and side dishes - try them paired (ask bar men) with an ice cold local beer! Awesome dive bar and date (-ish) joint with skeletons, wine, signs, ghouls, ivy, booze and low lighting. Review: 4

Yelp
Could improve service & food quality. 10 year ago - apart of our Top 10, after our visit today, sadly will never return. Server was inattentive and really after the order never heard back. Ordered snack Hummus and snack 3 meat only kabobs that were tough / dry / over cooked. Food came after we had to track down the server because other tables that came after us received their meals.

Yelp
Reason for 3 stars: Medium steak came out as well done, thankfully my tenderloin sandwich was tender. I asked for a GF bun but got a brioche. And we were charged $2 for mashed potatoes when it was supposed to be a choice. Not sure why our waiter skipped out before we finished, but we sat for a bit to get our check and takeout box. Bathrooms could use some TLC, lots of grime built up from lack of elbow grease. Why I'd try this place again: What a tasteful mix of cuisines that they e paired together in this small corner restaurant. We were quickly seated indoors (wanted outside but it was full). They bring a carafe of water to your table and explain the specials. A little pricy and smaller portions but most entrees come with a side of greens plus choice of potato. Shaved prime rib was not pre sliced, frozen crap. It was tender and served with a good pairing of sauces-- Bleu cheese, au juis, horseradish. Greens had a very light vinaigrette. Very eclectic style with various photographs and memorabilia throughout the place. Love the arch door with mushrooms adjacent to the bar. SOOOOO GROOVY!!!! Back by bathrooms, they have a wall of books and board games. They have several vegetarian options on the menu. Gluten free buns also available. And they have daily happy hour and late night specials.

Emily D.

Yelp
I'm sad to say that our experience here was very average! The vibes are great - super cozy, eclectic. We were seated relatively quickly and our server barely spoke to us aside from asking our order. The appetizer bread from the magic hour menu was mediocre, not much cheese in the bread. And both of our sandwiches were just so-so. Mine tasted more like meatloaf than a burger. Overall, disappointing, and we won't be rushing back.

Bill B.

Yelp
We found a place on the corner that looked hidden from the general public. We were glad to have found it as the inside was decorated very comfortable. The service was pleasant but a bit slow, I believe they claimed short staff in the kitchen. I had a Cobb salad and the house dressing was very good. The turkey Ruben was also very good. I asked for a soda and was told it was made by a local place, I didn't get the name but it tasted really good. It was nice to have something different from the big chains. If you are looking for a comfortable lunch location with good food and service, this is your place.

Yelp
Unique cool space with friendly people. Nice variety of sandwich's & sides. 1 enjoyed the grilled walleye & potatoe salad it was a nice piece of fish perfectly cooked. Unfortunately the french fries were not good, not cooked properly & most likely frozen, not freshly made. We normally would have order the garlic mashed but they were sold out. Andes churrasco sandwich was delicious! My husband had the Weary Traveler Reuben, they obviously know what they are doing!

Bobb S.

Yelp
11 years after my original review and unfortunately WT actually got worse. I was interested in their Magic Hour-a twice daily happy hour with a sampling of light bites. I was particular interested in their Khachapuri-one of my fave Georgian dishes. Well, their version failed on many levels. Overcooked, dry cheese, flavorless. On a well made dish, you stir the raw egg into the soft hot cheese to make it rich and tasty. Since WT's version was so overcooked and dry, the raw yolk just sat there with nothing to soak into. Besides their reuben empanadas, all their dishes fell flat. The fries, served without the garlic aioli listed in their menu, were not fried well and lacked salt. Their hummus platter came with a paltry two pieces of pita. Service was slow and clunky. The only highlight was their Black Widow Margarita. Way too many options not only on Willy St but also in Madison in total to be back.

Sho R.

Yelp
I took out dinner from here. Hungarian goulash was my favorite item here. It was a very flavorful soup with tender meat. Bob's bad breath burger was also very flavorful. It was strongly garlicy, which I loved.

Htx Herbivore H.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I found the vegetarian options to be underwhelming and lackluster. My friends and I shared the Wisconsin Meat & Cheese Platter and the Mediterranean Hummus Plate, but I felt that the hummus and side salad w/couscous were bland. I also ordered the Roasted Veggie Sandwich, but didn't love that either. Overall, good service (there can be a wait though) and great atmosphere (cool interior), but I was a bit disappointed by the food.

Nessa D.

Yelp
Love the ambiance of this place! I just wish the food tasted a little better. I tried the sweet corn quinoa black bean salad with tofu. Even though the salad was fresh, the tofu wasn't seasoned well and was slightly over cooked. My SO had the salmon salad and the salmon was not well seasoned. The pasta was good, but needed a little more salt. The drinks here are awesome, I had the black window margarita and it was made to perfection. This is a great place to grab a drink with friends. Very well decorated and cozy establishment.

Bill H.

Yelp
AMAZING... an absolute gem of a place!! Bohemian, hip, tasteful, creative, inviting, cozy, inspiring... FOOD IS A+ with great vegan options (wish they had more vegan options). Service is TOP NOTCH. Friendly, genuine, welcoming, smart, hip. Music: wow... so PERFECT. Great big windows with charming velvet curtains, potted plants, tin ceiling, wooden tables and chairs, booths, charming lighting and light fixtures, interesting decor: it's a grand slam... This should be a model for other establishments to look to. You must go here to understand just how valuable this place is... The neighborhood it's set in is fun, interesting, culturally vibrant and historic.

Varun R.

Yelp
Its been approximately2 years since I have been craving for some upnorth midwest food... My experiences tell me that nothing beats the midwest north hospitality and they have the best brunch food among the midwest states. This place gives you a vintage vibe of a music freehouse. We tried the Andes west eggwich and it is the best among the sandwiches that I ate more recently. The brunch menu is crisp and mouth watering. The mediterranen hummus plate is a must try starter/small plate from the menu. How can you miss the french toast from your order when you are having a brunch style food. And it is one of the best french toasts in near by the Monona Lake. My verdict I would say is simple, have a plate in here at the freehouse and have a stroll around the near by lake.

Yelp
The staff set the tone of our experience--warm, welcoming, and eager to ensure our evening was exceptional. When we were told of the night's special, prime rib, my excitement skyrocketed. Prime rib, a personal favorite, and boy, did it deliver! The dish arrived impeccably presented, accompanied by a vibrant assortment of fresh vegetables and heavenly mashed potatoes. The prime rib itself? Utterly divine. Each succulent bite was a testament to its quality, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. In a nutshell, the culinary symphony orchestrated was nothing short of a gastronomic masterpiece. The harmonious blend of flavors from the prime rib, the freshness of the veggies, and the creamy perfection of those mashed potatoes created an unforgettable dining experience. Cheers to the impeccable team and the culinary artisans behind this sensational meal!

Yelp
I think this place is pretty standard fair, but done well. Service is hit or miss. But man are the vibes inside so incredibly sharp. So pretty, dark, eclectic. Lovely spot.

Yelp
Womp womp womp... Went here on a recommendation from some workmates in the area...definitely looks like a cool spot with the decor and ambiance, but the service left much to be desired. Like in many others recent reviews service was on the slow side. The magic (happy) hour was not so magical. We put in our drink order (30 minutes before happy hour was to end).. ordered the snack size meat and cheese, and snack size south of the border...but didn't see our waitress or any of our items until 5 minutes before it was about to end and were told we couldn't order anything else from the happy hour menu. The meat and cheese board didn't actually have anything on there that needed to be cooked and the south of the border plate had very bland guacamole. Placed our meal orders and watched all the surrounding tables, which came after us, receive their food. When we finally received our order...the items were ok. I ordered the grilled walleye sandwich--the walleye was not seasoned at all..maybe it wasn't supposed to be. A workmate got the hungarian goulash and also notated there wasn't a lot of flavor. Another workmate ordered the roasted veggie sandwich and thought it was ok also. Overall..just an ok experience. Hoping this isn't the norm but in reading some more recent reviews...not to sure.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Still a fun place to go and enjoy the kitschy ambience. Had a not so spectacular meal recently with Ok service! Grabbed a Bob's Bad breath burger with roasted garlic potatoes the potatoes ended up being chips but soggy chips?? A little odd. Didn't stop me from eating them. It did take us a real hot second to get out food once we ordered (a few tables that came in after us got their food before us) and to flag down our server for the bill. Not super consistent there, but it's still a really fun ambience and I think that's really the reason to go.

Yelp
I dined at the Weary Traveler during a quick walk around Willy Street. The bar and restaurant is large and welcoming with eclectic art and music. Their menu is expansive, with brunch and vegan options abound. They also offer a respectable beer and cocktail list. I started with the beef goulash and it took nearly 30 minutes to arrive... for soup. When it finally arrived, it was great. The vegetables and beef were tasty and delicious and the broth was warm and well-seasoned. I had the classic burger. I didn't specify the cook-level and it came below medium rare, very close to blue. The burger and fries were decent, though the cheese was something unusual, something strong and unpleasant on a burger (it looked and tasted like feta). They also charged me a 3% credit card fee (which wasn't announced on the menu). Boo.

Lexi G.

Yelp
This place has quite the cozy atmosphere! I stopped in on Friday night and it was packed! We were told a 40 minute wait for 2, but it ended up being about 15 minutes. The lighting is dim and mixed with the eccentric decor, it's got quite the ambiance. I got the vegan rueben, and it's the best vegan rueben I've had in madison--and perhaps anywhere. It also came with a creamy potato salad and green salad. My partner got the vegan mulligatawny which was also delicious. Picture is low quality, but the flavor/portions are amazing!

Ladan N.

Yelp
Let me start by saying... I WILL BE BACK! This place was cozy and relaxing and gave "time traveler" vibes. Upon entrance, the owner greeted us and the waitress was super friendly. The service was a bit slow but we were so entertained looking at the interesting things in the restaurant and chatting that we didn't mind it. We ordered the bad breath burger and Reuben to split and share and let me tell you they did not disappoint! So yummy!!! Everything was just perfect!

William Meredith M.

Yelp
Well my uncle created the bobs bad breath burger that won many awards and you can get it here so yeah come eat here

Reel N.

Yelp
Went the Weary Traveler for lunch on a Monday. We were going to go elsewhere but the other place was closed. Wife Googled best places to eat in Madison and Weary Traveler was on the list of Top Ten. I had brunch, wife had their signature burger. Wish I would've ordered the burger. Wife said it was great. She shared a bite. The drinks were good. Took drink recommendations from our waitress. The place wasn't busy. Three guys at the bar with their laptops. The staff was friendly. The decor was...interesting. Dark and old but kind of neat in a vintage sort of way. (IDK) It was "intriguing." Will go back.

Tweezer E.

Yelp
Excellent food & atmosphere - love the Grateful Dead theme. We ordered the roasted veggie sandwich and reuben and split them along with a Mediterranean plate. This review would be 5 stars except for the need for a little more powerful A/C in the joint on a humid Wisconsin summer evening! All good though, thanks for the great grub and tunes

Michael W.

Yelp
I always love coming to the Weary Traveler. It's iconic. The food is tasty. The drinks are strong, and the servers are always very attentive. It's also my go to place for Hungarian Goulash in the winter. Especially tasty when it's snowing outside. I wouldn't ding a star for it - but my only complaint is that it's a little dark and I'm a little old, so reading the menu can be challenging at times. And no, not using the light on my iPhone - I'm not that old!

Michael W.

Yelp
This is my go to spot in Madtown. WT is a beer-focused bar with elevated pub food & brunch wrapped in a vintage, hodgepodge setting. The interior is warm and inviting and the eclectic menu is full of amazing dishes. If you only order 1 thing, it has to be the house specialty: Bob's Bad Breath Burger - a half pound of pasture-raised Wisconsin beef from Underground Butcher with cream cheese, green goddess dressing, caramelized onions, garlic, tomatoes and Pickapeppa Sauce (mild) with a side of Yukon Gold potatoes & local mixed greens. It is an absolute delight! The cream cheese puts it over the top as one of the best burgers you'll ever try (totally worth the bad breath side effect). The gold potatoes are ridiculously good too and are the perfect side. The Carne Asada: marinated, sliced flank steak, fresh guacamole, pico de gallo salsa with corn chips was also super flavorful. I also highly recommend the Hungarian Goulash, very tasty and comforting on a chilly night. We topped it off with dessert: Tres Leches cake. Super moist and was the perfect way to cap off another wonderful dining experience in a super cool spot on Willy. Check it out!

Sarah L.

Yelp
I had somehow never stopped at the Weary Traveler in all my years living in Madison, so I was so glad to go there with my colleagues this week. The food was top notch. I can understand why this is such a beloved place. They have a long-standing menu with classics. I was disappointed they did not have the harvest salad available when we went but substituted the not-weather-fitting goulash instead. It was packed full of flavor and lots of beef. I could have used more bread or another carb to soak it up. Service was okay. We never got refills on our water jugs or my iced tea. There weren't many check-ins despite the restaurant being fairly empty for Tuesday lunch. Still, a very solid spot on Willy that I would recommend.

Joshua D.

Yelp
Food is very mid. Service is friendly but there's usually quite a delay even when it is slow. Happy hour is a decent value. Overall it's just a watering hole for boomers.

Nicole V.

Yelp
Great food and drinks, neat atmosphere, with prompt and friendly service. Served as a convenient respite along our path to the Dells.

Keith C.

Yelp
Absolutely HORRIBLE. The worst service I've ever received in my lifetime. After waiting over an hour and a half for food the server said it was "his bad" and offered 20% off the food I never got. The "manager " offered the same response to a meal I was never served. He then told us we needed to pay for the service regardless. ... don't go here, don't let friends go here.

Heidi S.

Yelp
Oh how I love this place!! Every time the food is on point and the service is outstanding! They bake their bread fresh every morning and it is so delicious!

Leah B.

Yelp
Come here for the incredible decor, fantastic service and warm ambiance. It's cozy, fascinating and reasonably priced. We were a party of eight, got seated immediately with impeccable service throughout our stay. The meat and cheese platter, burger and reuben were all memorable and will bring us back again. The grilled cheese, blackened salmon and prime rib special were just okay. This is great for dates, families or if you have folks visiting from out of town who want to experience the non-campus atmosphere of Madison. This place embodies Madison's eclectic nature, creative presentation and insistence on good cocktails!

Patrick S.

Yelp
I was in town for business and looking for something off the beaten path, where the locals hang and off the State Street hoopla. Good beer selection on tap. The place is pretty dark and relatively small with some really vintage decor but that added to the appeal for me. It gives the feeling of an old English pub of sorts. Ate at the bar and had the chicken Dijon aide, which was great. Chatted a good bit with Jeff, the bartender, who is also the owner. He was super friendly and gave me a free beer coin and a postcard that he mailed off for me. Came back the next night again (why not) to hear some live music and dinner again. This time, I went for the short ribs - which were outstanding but so much food. If you're looking for a local hangout with good food, beers and a great friendly vibe - highly recommend

Jonathan W.

Yelp
It's hard to really say anything bad about a business that has been a Madison staple for over 20 years. Solid and basic food - soups, sandwiches, and low-impact apps - served in eclectic Prairie-Home-Companion-Meets-Mushroom-Trip atmosphere. The service is friendly and informal, you will see a lot of similar reviews with tables being forgotten about and drinks taking too long. This is a bit of a persistent issue but makes sense one you vibe the place.

Honest A.

Yelp
Man oh man how I do love the decor and vibe of the Weary Traveler, but their food? While not bad its not good either. Overpriced, generic, and the smallest portions we've ever paid for. Got the salmon for $25 and when it came I had to do a double take. It was literally the size of a finger. My partners pickle (literal pickle on his plate you dirty minds) was bigger than my salmon. He got the walleye sandwich and we both had to look for it between the buns. It's as if they took a whole fillet and cut it into four small squares for four sandwiches. Talk about bland too. I don't think they have any salt in their back kitchen or are afraid to use it 'cause it might be too explosive. We've had the same experience with their breakfast as well. Oh, our food literally took 45 minutes to get to our table on a slow night. God I wanted to really really like this place.

Immaculate I.

Yelp
Going through Madison and wanted to find something that was local and open a bit late as we were getting in town after 8 pm on a Sunday. We were in luck because they close at 10 pm. We got extra lucky because we got to sit on the patio! This week or next week will be the last time it's open for the season. I ordered the Ginger minion drink. It was perfect. There was a good amount of ginger from the liquor and the ginger beer but not too much to be spicy as ginger can at times be. For meals: We ordered the West of the Andes with Tuna steak made rare. Delicious. Also ordered Bobs bad breath burger. Absolutely delectable. The hot sauce is a great compliment to either. I got a side of Chips. Crispy. Salty. Perfect. For dessert, we ordered the tres leches. I'm going to be dreaming about the marshmallowy whipped cream topped cake. It was the perfect ending to our evening. Great service - Sam was our server. It was also affordable - about $50 for two drinks and two entrees. Would return. Patio was lovely. Clean bathroom.

Caleb S.

Yelp
This place is the definition of eclectic! Somehow, it blends giant chess pieces, portraits, a French horn, a boar's head, and so much more into a fun and cozy restaurant! It was the perfect spot to hang out. My friends and I stopped here to play a board game (from their shelf of games) and have a couple drinks. It was so much fun! While here, we also ordered a cheese board. The board had a great selection of local cheeses (particularly enjoyed the foene Greek cheese) which was a good portion for the price. For drinks, a friend got a spicy habanero margarita which wasn't too spicy but had a great blueberry habanero flavor. Another friend got a chai which was standard but nothing amazing. I got a lime flavored mock tail, which was refreshing and really tasty!

Yelp
We truly were weary travelers when we got here, Madison was the last college stop on our three day and four college Wisconsin tour. (We had one more day yet to be in the Dells, as a reward to the 13 year old who toured with us.) Arrived at the right time as we were seated quickly. The neighborhood and the vibe of this place are great. Server was nice, though would have liked to have seen her more often. Beer selection was good, but they were out of two of the beers I requested, and the can I finally did get was little better than room temperature - so not cold. The 13 year old order the grilled cheese, 17 year old had the chips plate, wife had the salad, and I hade the prime rib sandwich. First and foremost, and I will go on this rant EVERY time, but if you have kids menu items, you have to have Heinz (or similar) ketchup. Kids (and most adults, frankly) don't want homemade ketchup. When I am asking for ketchup I am asking for Heinz. You can have your not-ketchup too, just don't call it ketchup because it isn't ketchup. You probably would not have to serve it in tablespoon sized cups if it was Heinz. It probably also would not taste awful. The only saving grace (and this is a bad save) was that the fries were undercooked and gross, so even proper ketchup would not have helped. My wife's salad came out warm, which is an unusual choice for salad, but this was the second time this happened in Wisconsin, so perhaps it is a regional thing to have salads be warm? My sandwich was pretty flavorless (and I had to order this as they were out of the other thing I tried to order). When we arrived we were weary travelers looking for a good meal to raise our spirits - it did not happen here.

Stacey Z.

Yelp
We found this place driving through Madison and loved it! The food was amazing. One of the better juicer burgers I've had in a long time! Service was fantastic and loved the overall ambiance of the place. I am sad to say I don't think I'll be back in that part of the country but if I ever am... I will sure to stop in again!

Mike P.

Yelp
I had heard such great things about this place and was super excited to visit after finding out it would be open after a late concert. My experience was quite sad all things considered. It took a good 10 minutes to get drinks and then after ordering, it was almost an hour to get our food. After 30 minutes I asked if my cup of chili would be out soon and they said it'd come out with the fish frys. After that response I decided to cancel the chili. There was apparently a miscommunication and I think our order was cancelled. When our food did arrive it was overcooked and pretty awful.

Erin M.

Yelp
I'm having a tough time with this review because I used to love this place. I wish I had left a review back then saying how great it was instead of bumming everyone out with this blurb. Third stop on our Sunday funday. Sat at any table we wanted since we were coming at an odd time of day for food; 4:00 PM. We didn't wait long before we had menus and water in front of us and our order was taken shortly after. Our food took forever to come and the longer we sat there the more we started to notice how dirty stuff was around us. The fabric covered bench backs were noticeably packed with grime and we found several brown and cracking tree leaves from Fall of an unknown year lingering next to dried up food stuck to the floor. At one point I ventured to the restroom to take inventory of the number of people in the place to offer an internalized excuse for why the food was taking so long only to find we were one of six, groups of two in the place. My mom's face sunk into deep disappointment when the table next to us, whom arrived 20 minutes after we ordered, received food before we did. I did take note what they received may have been easier to make than our two sandwiches, but still. My point drags on. Our food finally arrives and it was excellent, maybe even worth the wait. Our server did an excellent job remembering my dumb food allergy and made sure to note I'd survive this meal. That was the last time they stopped at our table. They walked past us many more times but never checked in and eventually someone else showed up to offer us boxes and bring us the check. As always, I'll give it another chance someday, just not soon.

Daniel H.

Yelp
First things first, our server Air was fantastic and only second day on job. The atmosphere was really cool - blues and oldies tunes and unique "old junk" scattered about the bar. The humus app was delicious, creamy with lots of extras. The Reuben was as classic as anywhere else. The 4B was outstanding as well as the French toast special and corn quinoa salad. Definitely making getting back for a dinner night of fun,

CJ G.

Yelp
A thousand times yes to this locale. LOVED the vibe in here with the cobbled together feel of the tables, lamps and decor. The blues and jazz playing was perfection to go along with it. The ginger beer was just great. What I hadn't expected was the kimchi pancake on special with the beef to go over it. That with the ginger beer was a delightful combo. I would 100 percent recommend this place every day and -if I had the time- twice on Sundays.

Yelp
Great burger. Has the special mushroom Swiss edition. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. The menu is small. But if everything is as well prepared and flavorful as the burger you won't be disappointed. Service good.

Yelp
Everything on the menu is excellent and great every time we go. Drinks are great as well and love the venue and people there!

Yelp
This place was aggressively "ok". It took a crazy amount of time to get our food, as in almost one hour. We also weren't waited on during this hour. We ended up wanting to get more drinks, but no one came to get our order. I'm not sure I will be back, but at least the food and ambiance were cool.

Yelp
Came in early for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The funky and casual atmosphere was very welcoming. The only downside was the AC was too high for October so we were cold the whole time. Our server was very friendly and patient with us. I started with their ginger cocktail - it was fine but not to my taste. I ordered their grilled walleye sandwich which was very good. The side salad was very fresh and good as was the potato salad. My wife got the sweet corn, back quinoa and bean salad with a piece of salmon that was perfectly done medium rare. She really enjoyed it. The menu is somewhat limited but we will stop in again.

Yelp
I enjoyed the Grilled Walleye Sandwich! It was great that the sandwich was cut before it was served to me. Otherwise it would have been very messy.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch with my parents and we were pleasantly surprised by the vibe upon entering. It's a bit dark with the wood paneling but the decor and ambiance is stunning. I ordered the breakfast burrito after seeing another diner order one and it was good. I was hoping for there to be some additional flavor as it was a bit bland and needed hot sauce to finish. The waitress was sweet and attentive, frequently stopping by to check on the table. Overall, we'd return but maybe not for brunch! Definitely seems to be better suited for later in the day meals and drinks.

Yelp
This place is so cool I'm not sure if I want people to know about it. Very cool atmosphere, interesting menu. I think service might be hit or miss. First time we went it was good, second time insanely slow. I would still go back. But when you have a concert to be at after, maybe not the best choice.
