Their coffee was amazing. I had their iced rose latte and a pain au chocolate. The pain au chocolat was incredible! Buttery, flaky, and the chocolate was spot on. It tasted like I was back in France! I look forward to sampling other pastries they offer. Service was ok, but won’t deter from going back due to the fact the coffee and pastry were delicious.

Two private chefs/estate managers moved to this beautiful little town which usually means build quality can vary widely. Coffee ☕ can be just like that and I will follow this review with an example. Weather Gage has great coffee, rich, full flavored. My wife and I have had a nice sampling of their drink and snack menu. Everything is good and consistently SO! = GET THE CINNAMON TWIST. 😊 Very nice, friendly staff. Great location of you are starting at The Tidewater in town. That's how we found them in the first place, was a lovely stroll from the hotel though this cool town to Weather Gage. Go 🟢 and enjoy! Example: Jack's coffee in the Hamptons. We worked East Hampton last summer, pretty much got the same thing everyday because there was so much variance in the coffee ☕ it was literally different every single day. So, these guys could teach them a thing or two. 🙏 I'll add photos later

Stopped in for coffee while visiting Easton. Small place, great for takeout. There are a couple of small corners that would hold a max of 4 people or so if you plan to hang out. I had a Hazelnut Latte which was very expresso forward and less sweet. I happen to like my lattes that way so I was happy, but you may want to consider that if you prefer yours really sweet. I would certainly stop in again!

Google
The finest coffee this side of NYC! Not to mention the pastries! Absolutely the best this side of Cambridge. I say that because Cambridge has the downtown “Black Water Bakery”, a marvelous cafe’ and lunch place; while out on Rt. 50 , just east of Cambridge, you have the “Bay Country Shop”. So, I would suggest for you travelers to the beaches, to stop off, first, and enjoy the quaintness of downtown Easton (thank you, Mr.Prager) and enjoy your pastry and delicious coffee from “The Weather Gauge”; relaxing outside at their outdoor dining tables along the sidewalk of flowers and just sit back and enjoy the friendliness of the locals! Then, I dare you to stop and visit downtown Cambridge for some casual shopping and stop in at the “Black Water Bakery!” Then as you return to the joys of Rt.50, and heading for about 2 miles east, on the right hand side, please find the “Bay Country Bakery!” … to stick up with some additional goodies to take to the beach for the week! Take plenty from each of the 3 bakeries; have a taste test among your guests as they arrive at your domain! Let me know which of the bakeries won the contest. I guess you will have to decide for yourself which has the best coffee. I think I know the answer to that one! This is your lucky day if you did not know about these lovely, and “deliciously classic” places, here on the Mid-Shore! I am sure you will come again!

Google
If you are looking for a perfect local small coffee and pastry shop, this is the place for you! We had a mocha and a cappuccino (both delicious). We also had the best savory scone I’ve ever had! Great atmosphere, outside seating (a few tables for 2), easy parking, very friendly staff.

Google
A coffee place that has style AND substance. The space is luxurious and well-lit. Baked goods are well featured and enticing. The barista was friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, my americano was perfect. Will definitely return the next time I'm in Easton.

Google
latte was better than any i can remember having. very rich flavor, and the milk was perfectly steamed -- which i know is tricky to do with almond milk! cute interior, too -- sparse seating indoors, but there are a few open tables outside! staff was also lovely.

Yelp
Starting with the coffee, it is La Columbe. In my opinion, it's not great. They put care into the drinks and have a good menu, but it's not anything special because of the beans. They also had skim milk which wasn't on the menu, but made me happy. I got a skim milk latte and my husband got a macchiato that was hilariously little. He was sad they didn't have a lid as we were just passing through town. The pastries looked fantastic. I didn't try them, but my kids did and LOVED them. They favors were unique and looks like it rotates based on the week or day. The options were all different than what I had seen on other yelp pictures. They also had 2 tables outside that were fun to sit and enjoy the heart of Easton, but there was no seating inside and no public bathroom. This is a walk by coffee stop.

Yelp
Cute interior, very clean. Kind of weird to have a large screen TV playing a movie in the middle of the coffee shop. I think putting a painting there instead and adding some tables and chairs for people to sit would benefit the overall space. I got a latte which was nothing exciting, a little bitter. The pastries were amazing though!! I will say I felt rushed making a decision even when I was the only customer in the entire store... Not sure why the girl at the cash register was so pushy... Getting a morning coffee should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Yelp
If you want good coffee while exploring downtown Easton, walk into Weather Gage, a small cafe that sells pastries and a full coffee menu. My small hazelnut latte was not too sweet and tasted great. It was the best coffee I've had in the area!

Yelp
Baristas are friendly and the inside is cute. Coffee is yummy, over priced, but worth it for a cute coffee shop trip. Iced Oat milk latte with lavender is $8.50 ! It's nice to support a local business though.

Yelp
I'm glad I found this place. I liked that they had a simple menu and you could purchase tea or coffee to brew at home. They also had pastries and the pain au chocolate was devine! I ordered an iced matcha tea and I liked it. Next time I want to try a coffee. Very cute place and they do have a seated area inside and outside. The ladies I spoke with were both very kind and helpful. I highly recommend if you're looking for a new place for your caffeine fix.

Yelp
Great coffee and baked goods with a very friendly staff. Went bake a few times during our stay.

Yelp
First off you absolutely have to try their croissants. Let me get that out of the way immediately! This is a great local coffee shop, with lots of offerings for your caffeine needs. Their baked goods are delicious, and the service is very friendly. They have limited outdoor seating, and a couple of indoor chairs, but for the most part this is grab and go. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Delicious pastores a coffee from a coffee snob!! There were people in and out ordering their favorite coffee as we ate our pastries. This is a sign of a local favorite spot

Yelp
Went again with the family and had the best service. It's a beautiful little coffee shop with great coffee and tea. They have the best artisanal pastries this side of the bay. I would've loved if they had even one table inside for in-climate weather but after talking to them come to find out it's an ordinance or some such non-sense by the local government that they're not allowed to put a table inside. The reason for our visit was a treat for mom's birthday. We all enjoyed our coffee's and snacks and had a pleasant conversation with the folks working there who wished mom a happy birthday - putting a smile on her face. Bottom line is I'll be back and recommend it.

Yelp
I think "pit stop" is a better name for this place. Dont get me wrong....the americano was great and the service was kind ...what i did mind...a lot...is that there is truly no where to sit and "ponder". If you want a grab and go .....go here...if you want a coffee house go somewhere else

Yelp
Stopped by here after lunch for a cute matcha and baked good before a long drive back to DC. Matcha was perfect and my friends lattes were also delicious. Super cute spot with lots of amazing looking pastries - their lemon bar was fantastic. Definitely a cute stop by spot!

Yelp
Best coffee and croissants in county! Staff is very friendly . You must give it a try!

Yelp
Perhaps the best chocolate croissant I've ever had. A must visit when in Easton. Enjoy

Yelp
Five stars for beautiful decor :-) I wanted breakfast not just pastries so o move on !

Yelp
Decided to try this (Nov.) to treat a friend to a birthday coffee. Maybe in the summer, with outside seating, it's enjoyable, but it's mostly a takeout place in colder weather. Higher prices ($15 for 2 coffees and 2 pastries). 3 stools at a counter for inside seating. VERY noisy-frequent coffee grinding, making conversation impossible. Croissants are flaky, but chocolate inside was skimpy. Not likely to return.

Yelp
Outstanding espresso macchiato. Not bitter almost sweet. Beautiful relaxed outdoor seating Could spend the afternoon in the autumn sun here!

Yelp
This is one of our favorite spots to stop and get our favorite coffee. Today we were met with an attitude as if we were bothering the staff and with receiving a flippant response with our request. Always willing to give it another try and maybe they need some coffee before they start their day.

Yelp
they have some great espresso's and coffees: plus the people are really nice and nice calm relaxing place to be if u want to chill and have a coffee.

Yelp
Great local business. The mochas are on point!! The business owner is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The baked goods are a great touch as well. You can't go wrong here!

Yelp
A wonderful surprise hidden away in Easton. Coffee is delicious, the vanilla latte was even better. We also purchased the chocolate croissants and they were the best I've had. I highly recommends this beautifully decorated coffee shop.

Alexandra H.

Yelp
This is the most beautiful coffee shop I've ever walked in to! Beautiful pastries too. They made me a great almond milk latte. Excellent service.

Yelp
How fortunate we are to have the best French pastries on the Eastern shore. The freshly made chocolate croissants are out of this world delicious, as are the rest of their French pastries. The coffee is wonderful and the manager, Brooke, and her staff couldn't be any more gracious. I just love this place.

Yelp
I don't know what their secret is, but I'm a coffee snob and I think this is the best coffee in Easton. They have great pastries, too.

Yelp
Really classy coffee shop - plus they knew everyone's name as they came in - I'm not from Easton and first time here so yeah that's ok - I got a medium roast pour-over which was smooth and rich - and my daughter and I split a chocolate croissant - now I'm usually not a fan as they are too rich - but this was ABSOLUTELY the BEST I've ever had - how did they get the chocolate to be in chunks and not totally melted. Dark chocolate. Not too much either. Perfect. Sat outside and watched traffic go by the quiet street and spoke with another patron who had a book placed next to her pastry and coffee. Delightful.

Yelp
What a beautiful coffee shop! Good latte and scrumptious, freshly made croissants. FYI: the pastries are made in house. While they only sell a few kinds, quality over quantity seems to be their emphasis. If you love good coffee, this place needs to be on your list to try.

Pam S.

Yelp
New coffee shop in Easton. Small but classy with great coffee. At the moment limited choices of pastries but they are really good! The chocolate croissant was perfect! Look forward to seeing it grow!

VT P.

Yelp
Five stars plus for the baked goods! We love the croissants, olive cake and the lemon buttery cookies!!! And it seems that we are not alone as when we stopped at around 10 am, their goodies were almost gone. Their coffees are fine too.

G K.

Yelp
Fantastic way to start the day. Perfect brew, great selection of breakfast no-no's when you are in the mood...or not. Worth the 15 minutes drive from the farm. Check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
a perfect cup of coffee and the most delicious croissant I have ever had beautiful decor and service bar ...... I felt like royalty in my short breakfast stay
