Checks my boxes. It looks like it's small in the photos but it's much larger with many seating options available. Love the clean modern lines of the actual Cafe. Good stong latte. Freshly-baked & quality cookie. Big & robust too. Love that the seating options are directly outside where you order. Couches and a large table for a big group. Little tables close to some outlets for some for those who want to work with their laptops. Chill instrumental playing in the background. Spacious, modern, clean. Great ambience. Can chat, enjoy my coffee, & do some remote work too.

Delicious coffee! It's in The Joule lobby so there is plenty of seating, even if it doesn't look that way. Great place to remotely work.

TASTY LATTES & A VIBRANT SETTING Weekend Coffee is a gem in The Joule building and one of my favorite spots for a quick walk from my apartment. I ordered a vanilla latte—it was on the sweet side but still very tasty. The staff was welcoming and kind, which added to the experience. The Joule itself is such a vibe: artsy, modern, and filled with photo-worthy aesthetics. It’s always a treat to stop by, thanks to the warm atmosphere and friendly team. Highly recommend for both the coffee and the setting!

I ordered a hot vanilla latte. It cost less than Starbucks and tasted way better. The cute latte art was an unexpected bonus and made my so happy. I took a few minutes to sit down and enjoy the cozy atmosphere before heading out.

This place ROCKS!!! One of the best lattes I’ve had in many years here in the US. Strong but smooth and full flavoured. Not at all bitter. Exceptional! It is not your average American cafe - they know coffee! And the croissants are also excellent. I went here every morning during my stay and it was consistently excellent. And the staff are super cool and lovely!

Coffee shop inside the boutique Joule hotel - I come for the coffee, indulge in the house made pop tarts and chill in the comfy lobby (which has cool art). Great place in downtown Dallas if you're looking for a coffee shop.

Stopped in for an oat milk cortado and was so happy I did. It was one of the best cortados I've had! Staff was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back in!

The staff wasn't that friendly. We both got the Spanish latte, and I also got their breakfast taco. I didn't enjoy the coffee. Surprisingly coffee was bitter, even though it had condensed milk. I did like the breakfast taco; quite flavorful and wrapped in a good tortilla. Due to this visit, we got to check out a fascinating bookstore across the hall before heading home.

Had a crack head take my book and coffee while I was in the restroom barista handled it really well called security and made me a new coffee great service good coffee good people

Superb little purveyor of coffee and morning pastry.Just off the lobby in the Joule hotel its convenient to run down and grab a masterfully prepared Latte or Cortado and pastries. The baked goods are supplied by CBD next door and are superb. Go!

Always hits the spot. Convenient location, sitting inside the Joule Hotel with street parking nearby. I always get an iced Spanish latte with is reminiscent of a Vietnamese iced latte but with a more subtle flavor plus cinnamon. Service is always fast and coffee always served with a smile. Nicely decorated interior, nice restrooms in the same building, plenty of seating. Highly recommend!

Cute little spot located inside the Joule hotel. I stopped by 3-4 times during my week in Dallas. I came late mornings (around 10a) and there was never a line. Highly recommend the Spanish latte. I'm a sucker for anything with condensed milk. I tried it hot and cold, and even as an iced coffee fan, I recommend getting it hot. Otherwise, the condensed milk just clumps at the bottom and you end up drinking it through the straw. Although, hack if you live nearby like I did while visiting: get the latte hot and pour over ice when you get home. Not only do you get more coffee, but the condensed milk will actually combine. Staff was friendly and quick to make orders. There are a couple stools inside and a few small tables leading into the hotel available for use. They also offer a few pastries/food items, so definitely get there earlier if you're interested.

Ordered a pourover. It was made well; no complaints from me! Would come back to try other drinks

This cute coffee shop is located inside the Joule hotel in downtown Dallas. We were staying in the hotel for the weekend and decided to try it. I ordered a Spanish latte, which was very tasty. The setting of the Joule is also appealing as it is a beautiful and decorative hotel worth checking out (see multiple photos of my coffee cup with the hotel backdrop).

I ordered an americano from here and ended up asking for a refund. I got an overpulled, sour drink. My BIL ordered a similar espresso drink, received a smaller size than requested, and also had a similar tasting drink. Not the place to go if you're ordering an espresso drink without any additional syrups or if you want to enjoy the taste of your espresso. Maybe I just went on an off day but from 3 different drinks ordered, none of us enjoyed our coffee.

I recently visited while in town for work. I ordered a cold brew and a lemon almond flour pastry. The pastry was really good and actually a bit filling. The cold brew was good and I would get it again. I wish they had more food options here aside from the pastries and two different breakfast burritos. The atmosphere was good here as well. They didn't have much seating inside their coffee shop, but the Joule lobby had quite a bit.

Small coffee shop behind The Joule is a must try! Stopped by on the way home from the gym for a little pick me up and I was super happy I did. Great customer service! The barista recommended the Spanish latte which I ended up getting along with a cinnamon pear muffin. The muffin was very filling and the latte was sweet and creamy. I'll definitely be stopping by more often!

I'm in town for two days and weekend coffee was on my street! I walked in and absolutely loved it! It's so modern, fresh, and full of light! I ordered immediately and the staff was very helpful and nice. While I was waiting for my coffee, I went shop next door at the other little store within the hotel. I ordered a iced vanilla latte with almond milk, delicious!! It comes in a cute glass cup which is great for pictures. They started off my morning well!!

Excellent coffee and service. They have almond milk and oat milk alternatives. I had the oat milk latte. The staff was very helpful in locating a working restroom in the spa, which was super nice. The one in the lobby was closed for maintenance.

Super cute coffee shop inside the Joule hotel. Hidden chill spot. Small place but nice and cozy. However, I ordered a latte with skim milk at 8am, was told they were out of skim milk (at 8am!) He said they have reg, almond and oat milk. So I said oat. Total came to 1.25 more than the price. I said but you're out of skim milk... he said "I know". The end. Not very friendly or customer oriented. Sad Bc it's a great coffee shop inside a beautiful hotel.

VEGAN OPTIONS - Yes. Stopped by while I was in the area to grab a couple of hot espresso drinks to go. I got a mocha, and a honey latte, both with oat milk. The drinks were made well, and the staff was very friendly. Overall, nothing disappointing about the experience, but nothing memorable either, and not something I would go out of my way for.

The coffee was smooth and well crafted. The coffee cups were very high quality. The seating was comfortable and open. I was a little worried before I came since it was in a hotel, but it is still a cozy coffee shop.

Small coffee house is located in the upscale Joule hotel, with a variety of coffee beverages and pastries. I wasn't impressed with the cold brew, which was drenched in cream.

Just went in to ask a few questions and try out their coffee. We love buying different bags of coffee from good roasters. Unfortunately No one greeted my family for a few minutes, when there was 3 people working, with no one in the store. Furthermore two of the three employees refused to acknowledge or communicate to us, even after my wife was handed a coffee and she thanked them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, will not be back. The Horchata cold brew was decent but not great.

I ordered a Spanish Latte and breakfast taco which was so good! The coffee shop is within a hotel and has plenty of space for lounging and hanging out while enjoying your coffee. It's such a vibe and definitely worth checking out!

Whether you go weekend or weekday, it will be fine. Located inside The Joule Hotel, on the Commerce St side of the building. Came here a few times, menu is simple, some pastry and baked good items in the little case, they also offer breakfast tacos (not sure from where though). Drip coffee is tasty, cold brew is good, lattes are nice, cheese biscuit is tasty (comes with butter & jam). Just get in line, order at counter, they will call you by name when ready, if dining in, they will bring out your coffee and food order to you. Friendly, hipster-ish staff, people that work and live in the area seem to go there a lot, dining area is in the shared hotel and cafe part. If you need to go, you can use the fancy hotel bathroom which is across the hall. Great coffee spot!

SO GOOD. The staff was friendly, helpful and made my large order very quickly. I got 2 iced teas, 2 lattes, 1 cold brew coffee and 3 tacos for $30. Pretty average for downtown Dallas. Here's what I ordered - Cold Brew Coffee: OH YUM. Maybe the best cold brew ever. They offered to add milk and sugar and I asked them to use their expertise and make the judgment call to make it the very best. They definitely did!! Spanish Latte: FRICKEN DELICIOUS. I've never had this kind of latte before. It's made with condensed milk instead of regular milk and cinnamon. 8 oz is the perfect coffee to milk ratio for a latte. Iced Tea (Hibiscus): such a rich flavor for iced tea! (Full disclosure: I can't remember the formal name they gave the iced tea.) Iced Tea (Mango/Pineapple): another great iced tea flavor. (Full disclosure: can't remember the name of this one either but pretty sure it had 'boy' in the title.) Chai Latte: Happens to be my favorite chai ever, but pretty sure it's the Big Train Chai mix that you can buy at the store that many coffee spots use. I still recommend it if you don't care for coffee or are in the mood for something different. Breakfast Tacos - Chorizo is really good chorizo! The potato taco is fine. :) I didn't care for the green tomatillo salsa, but the potato + egg + cheese taco would have benefitted from a little something flavorful.

TL:DR Fantastic Macchiato and Espresso well worth the visit! This small coffee shop that's nestled in the corner of The Joule (Hotel) is wonderful. The coffee they serve not only tastes great, they are gentle and warm. Perfect for even the toughest mornings to get you going. The shining jewel is the fantastic ceramic cups they use, which compliment the coffee so well that I just have to get my own. It's an experience that you won't want to miss out on!

The Weekend Coffee is located inside a hotel. It was actually hard to find. I U-turn x2 looking for the location and concluded that it must be located inside a building. Parking is horrible. The place is a small cute set up and has setting inside and right outside the store as well. I really like the coffee sign that lights up. I ordered a iced vanilla latte. The board says its 4.00/4.50. I'm not sure what size I got because I just said "iced vanilla latte" and was charged 5.00$ without tax. I am assuming because of the syrup? I got my receipt and it just stated "1 Iced Latte" so I got overcharged or the menu price is incorrect. Really confused there. The iced vanilla latte isn't anything spectacular. The milk was just mixed in with the espresso. I usually like it foam and mixed well with the espresso. It was just any other regular latte.

WOW, this place blew me away. I loved the vibes of the place, especially with the clean marble table aesthetic and "coffee" neon sign. Although the shop is small, it was tranquil and clean. They also had Cereal magazines out for those who want to read it. I also love how the whole area around the coffee shop in general is so bougie. Weekend Coffee is in the fancy Joule Hotel, and I definitely see how the the shop fits in. I chose a latte since that's what I normally get and thought I could compare the taste with previous lattes I've had... and WOW, I liked the latte here a LOT. The milk they used in the latte tasted really full and different than other milks I've tried. I don't know if it was whole milk or some other milk but it was a great touch. The service was also super great, and the workers were friendly. Found this place on Yelp (as always), and I expected it to be good, based off of previous reviews. However, this coffee shop has pleasantly surprised me! I liked the vibes a lot more than I thought I would. Pictures don't do this place justice. You need to come in person!

Amazing little coffee shop. At first appearance, it's basic. Bright white and light wood, a neon pink "coffee" sign, and a simple chalk board of maybe a dozen drink options. As you approach, you see a small case of baked goodies and a sign for breakfast taco options. Nothing appears extraordinary but everything absolutely is. The cappuccino with almond milk was perfectly frothy and creamy. The slightest addition of sugar made it perfect. I had the egg white taco, which was yummy. But it was the donuts that were utterly amazing. I had the pistachio and the mocha and they were just to die for. Super moist cake donuts, that had the hard exterior but slightly crumbly inside. The icings were just the right amount and not overly sweet. These were honestly two of the best donuts I've ever had. This is where I'll be stopping each and every time I'm in Dallas.

Need a new place to study and I'm still going around looking for the best coffee shop. Found this one on Yelp actually! Since it's inside a hotel, it was hard to find at first because I just walked passed it and not realized. But it's super cute!! The barista was very nice and answered my questions and chatted with me. There isn't really any seating, but I just sat in the area right in front of it (part of the hotel). Wifi wasn't great so I didn't even stay long because I had trouble playing my lectures.

Pleasantly surprised with this coffee shop. I ordered the California and it was delicious. Their coffee is smooth and strong! As others mentioned, this coffee shop is located inside of a hotel. Lots of nice comfy seating and beautiful ambiance. I made sure to visit twice during my stay because I loved the Cali so much!

The best coffee ever!! I'm a coffee fanatic and Weekend coffee exceeded my expectations! It's a 25-30 min drive for me but worth the time! You will be a forever fan!

Weekend Coffee is inside a historic building in downtown Dallas. It's a small coffee shop with a killer latte, breakfast tacos, and pastries. The chorizo taco and chocolate glazed donut were filling and delicious. Most people get their coffee and breakfast to go, but there are several tables nearby if you want to stay awhile.

This little coffee shop is located in the back of the Joule hotel. You do not need to be staying at the hotel to enjoy coffee here though! Just walk through to the back of the bottom floor to find this little gem. The barista was great and greeted my wife and I enthusiastically! I had the Japanese cold brew and my wife enjoyed an iced Cuban coffee. Hers was better! If staying at the Joule I would enjoy this place every morning. Since we stayed at Hotel Crescent Court, we enjoyed an afternoon coffee here while exploring downtown. I would absolutely recommend anyone in downtown Dallas stop by and fuel up before continuing your adventure

VIBES FOR DAYS + THE BEST CORTADO I'VE EVER HAD!!! This little gem inside The Joule is absolutely worth stopping in. Counter Culture coffee and Local Press fresh juice combined with a visually stunning setting filled with incredible sculptures and mosaic wall art set. Need I say more? Well, okay then. You also have the magic of downtown Dallas and really knowledgable, friendly baristas who make the best cortado I've had the privilege of tasting. Alright, I'm done. You just gotta go.

Weekend Coffee is currently my go to coffee shop when I'm in Downtown Dallas. The vibe here is unique and different, mainly because it's found inside a beautiful hotel named "The Joule". I love how the decor is always changing inside, and usually when I come the crowd isn't that huge- so seating isn't an issue. Coffee (Cold Brew): Their Cold Brew comes in one size, a general medium sized plastic cup for 4 bucks. I'm not a coffee professional but it falls into the light-medium roast. If you like to add flavoring you'll be limited to just agave syrup. It's good because it's not overwhelmingly sweet nor bitter, the agave gives it a good balance.

I've been here several times now, and I make a point to go anytime I'm in the area which isn't often. This little coffee shop's ambiance is stunning! A secret little gem. And I think they possibly make the best dirty chai latte in Dallas. So yummy, a spicy sweet treat. I appreciate that despite being a small and local coffee shop, they still cater to the public by offering plenty of milk alternatives such as almond milk. As it's sort of tucked away in the Joule, I do think it's tricky to hang out in this little coffee shop as it's VERY small. But if you're not looking to do work, there's plenty of places to browse around within the Joules while you sip on your coffee.

Pretty good and quick on the sunday morning we went. I had the Horchata Cold Brew (which was really delightful) and my S.O. had the Spanish Latte (also pretty good). For a quick bite, we tried the breakfast tacos... My potato and eggs taco was pretty good (although I would ask for an extra salsa because it was a large taco). We also had the egg and bacon taco, but it wasn't as good, but I was happy overall (so five stars from me).

Took me a while to find this place. but that's downtown for you. Inside the coffee shop, there are only a few seats but outside there is plenty of seats that you can lounge on. I got the iced Americano and it was quite delicious! Price wasn't too overpriced. The baristas there were very kind and made the drinks very well. They also have a shelf with different coffee related items that you can purchase. There are a lot of coffee shops around Dallas Downtown but I was glad I chose this one c:

Very quaint shop inside a hotel. Perfect for a quick latte and a brief chat. Theres a few places to sit, but I wouldn't come here for computer work. The tea was stellar. Very unique black tea with an unexpected berry twist. The spanish latte is sweetened with condensed milk and cinnamon which really gives it a creamy and rich favor profile. Come here for the coffee, not the environment.

This place is amazing! Great customer service, everything is set up for social distancing right now. Contactless pay and they even slide your drink over to you on a slim, wooden board. This coffee shop is set inside of the Joule hotel which in itself is VERY easy on the eyes. But the shop itself is set up really cute and their merchandise is awesome with fun shirts and cute mugs. Their light up coffee sign in the window is so cool! I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, and then walked over to the giant eyeball to get a picture before leaving the area! So many amazing vibes coming out of this place.

This coffee shop is located in the same building as the Joule hotel and has its own section in the corner with plenty of swag for customers looking to rep this brand! The guy at the counter was very helpful and recommend the Californian, which turned out great! Lots of espresso and not too pricey. Great place to grab some coffee on the go!

This place was lovely. Two nights before I was walking around downtown and the coffee sign really caught my attention so I decided to stop by before ending my vacation in Dallas. It did not disappoint. The baristas were very kind and knowledgeable. My Spanish latte was the best one I've had yet and my friend said her matcha was very smooth and good. Will definitely stop by again when I visit.

Amazing caramel oat milk latte and croissants! The baristas are extremely nice and fast. The seating area is pretty and clean as well. Wifi, however, is a little weak so wouldn't recommend doing any work that requires a strong connection in the sitting area.

This is another of the many nice local coffee shops in the area. Unlike most of the other local coffee shops I frequent (which tend to be more hipster) Weekend Coffee has a very modern and contemporary feel to it. A big part of this is due to the fact that Weekend Coffee resides inside The Joule Hotel. While the official address for The Joule is on Main Street, Weekend Coffee is located on the 'back side' which can be entered from Commerce Street. As for their coffee, they brew a very nice cup of java. I have also had the chance to try their cappuccino which was very nice too. Another good thing about Weekend Coffee is they brew their own Cold Brew and bottle it. That's right, they bottle it. It's easily some of the best Cold Brew I've had. Note, it sells out fairly quickly so if Cold Brew is your coffee of choice, stop by earlier in the day. Weekend Coffee is a great spot to come and enjoy a cup of coffee and chat (quietly) with friends. Because it's located on the main level of the hotel, there can be traffic at times and because of this I would not attempt to come here and work or study. This makes a decent spot to people watch. As the name implies, Weekend Coffee will continue to be my rotation of coffee shops to stop by on weekend or any other day that I'm away from the office.

[Out-of-Towner Review] How every boutique hotel, boutique coffee shop should be. All the fellas were nursing hangovers and I was left to my own devices and went on a solo mission to find a new coffee spot (goal of every trip, duh). I knew this one was really close, but I didn't realize it was across the street and through the swanky hotel I'd been seeing every day of my trip. The bell hop men were so nice, they directed me to the coffee when my phone was being weird with the maps app. I said thanks and went on my merry almost caffeinated way! Boughie to say the least, I was really under dressed to saunter through this hotel. But oh well, I just wanted coffee. The small coffee shop was super cute, very minimal in decoration, with a small coffee bar for ordering. I couldn't decide between try their house brew or 'treat yo self' with a soy mocha. Since it was our last day of the trip, I went with treat yo self and grabbed a mocha. I waited for it there and then carefully carried it to the hotel waiting area or the coffee shops additional seating area, I cannot tell the difference, to find a seat. I decided on the very low couch, since no one was sitting there. My soy mocha was divine, although there wasn't enough of it. It was hipsterly priced, but tasted delicious! I could have drank at least four more of them and been completely satisfied. If swanky people watching is your thing, you'd love this spot. Not everyone is swanky, but the decor definitely is. The coffee shop brings the spot down to reality a bit, but still fits in really nicely. Since the mocha wasn't enough for me, I decided to grab a house brew to-go, as well as one for one of hungover fellas back at the house. Again, I was happy with my choice to get a second coffee. The price fits in with the location and a local, boutique coffee shop. It was a little pricey, but this is to be expected. Is hipster swanky even a thing? Cause they nailed it, if it is...
