The Best Bowls of Soup in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"The noodle soups at this Thai restaurant are decadently flavorful and fragrant, full of fresh herbs and greens. The tom kha with seafood is dreamy with coconut cream and an herbaceous broth of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and galangal. It’s filled with seafood like shrimp and mussels, plus tomato, onion, and mushroom — all kept warm over a maw fai fire pot." - Janna Karel

Finally made it here and the food was good! We came early Saturday (6-ish) and we're seated right away. Since there were a few tables before us, our food came around 15, 20 minutes or so. We had beef Rad Nar and Tom Yum soup noodle. The flavors are very good but things were a little bit salty (Believe me, my wife likes things on the savory side but even that was too salty for her!). I watered mine down since it was a soup but they took hers back and made a new one and that was very good. They were apologetic, very nice and professional about it. Even came back a couple of times to make sure it was better. In fact, all the waitstaff were courteous, friendly and talked to all customers I noticed. Not just asking if they were ok but really took the time out to talk to people. That was nice to see cuz our last experience at Weera Thai kItchen (spring mountain location) was bad. This place is night and day comparing to that other location! Both entrees were delicious. The Rad Nar was loaded with gravy and the fat noodles were so good. The Tom Yum noodle soup was loaded with all the goodness and very deep in flavors. We really liked the flavors here. But next time we'll ask them to go easy on the salt/fiah sauce. lol The vibes and atmosphere were warm and intimate. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. We noticed the place gets packed around 7-ish, so FYI. We will come back here again cuz we noticed a few really good dishes there we would want to try.

Google
Highly-rated Weera Thai deserves its reputation as one of the best Thai restaurants in the city across food quality, service and environment. Though famed for its Northern Thai specialties, the more familiar taste of “traditional” Thai dishes like Pad Thai, curries and Pad Prik Kao will likely impress those more that have not had exposure to more sour spicy taste of the northern dishes. Prices were reasonable given the quality and ambience, even suitable for special occasions.

The restaurant has decent parking. The decor for the restaurant is pretty good for a thai themed atmosphere. The service was pretty good. The food quality seemed fresh. The duck pad thai was delicious . The mixed drinks was ok. There are four locations in las vegas.

Google
The food was good. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming and the service was ok. The first dish I didn't enjoy the was the Chilean Sea bass spicy sauce. The rest of our food was good as always. Usually get curry and pad Thai.

Google
Absolutely delicious Thai food.. I'm so glad there were reservations available when I booked because it was packed when we got there, but we got sat right away because we had the reservation.. It was beautifully decorated inside, they had a pretty extensive menu and our server was extremely friendly.. We ordered fried wonton, pan fried dumplings and fried beef jerky Dadd Deaw.. For our entrees we split the orange chicken and a beef Thai fried rice.. My aunt had a curry dish and her hubby had a pork dish and everyone enjoyed everything.. It was definitely worth the 7 minute Uber ride from the Strip.. I was impressed by how much Chinatown Las Vegas had grown since my last visit.. When I was there in '06 it was basically just a plaza.. Now it's blocks upon blocks of restaurants and businesses.. I look forward to exploring more on our next trip but we will definitely be back to Weera.. They were so nice they game me tokens to play the Claw game outside for my birthday.. I won a stuffed cat.. I kept the Weera Thai pin, but gave the cat to the little girl who watched me win it.. An overall fantastic experience

Google
Met up with some friends and family here and it was nice. The inside is on the smaller side but still have room to move around. I got the Pad Thai Woon sen with level 2 spice and it wasn’t bad at all! They definitely over do it with vegetables but it’s good for you. Others got chicken curry, beef Pad Thai, orange chicken and the sampler appetizer.

Google
The food was too spicy to fully enjoy. We ordered it medium spicy, and the food didn't have much flavor. But the fried rice was amazing,I was told they rice was unbearable and it lived up to it. I will be going bacc to try more of the menu and report bacc to you guys PS. The Tofu was horrible, but everywhere i go the Tofu is horrible. What type of person eats that.

Charming and delicious food and drinks at this Thai restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. We took a short drive from the MGM Grand to get here . There's a parking lot in front .We were greeted and seated at a spacious booth . And I have to say that there is a very chill friendly vibe here . We ordered a couple cocktails to start , I got the Lychee Cosmo with vodka and my friend got the White Lotus rum and coconut drink in a cool cup ! Delicious. We got the Calamari app and the Fish Cakes app. The Calamari was average but the Fish Cakes is unusual in a good way . Tasty vinegar dipping sauce ( I did ask for salt and a knife to help cut it though .) For mains we got the Shrimp Mussamun Curry with white rice and the Crispy Duck Panang Curry .These are big and satisfying portions that I could barely finish with lots of Shrimp too . My friend thought his duck was a bit dry but if you pour that tasty Panang sauce on it then it's better . Food is tasty though . We got a 2nd round of drinks because there's a Happy Hour special of 2 for $28 . I got the blue Coco Breeze with the foam on top , it was unusual but ok . My friend got the Call Me Rose rum drink and that was so delicious ! Get that one . It's not rose flavored by the way it just has a flower in the ice cube .Also the staff is extremely polite and helpful and friendly. Definitely try Weera Thai . Get some cocktails and curry .

Yelp
I'm pretty upset with myself for not having visited here sooner. My first Weera experience was the one on Spring Mountain in Chinatown several years back. That was not memorable so I never thought to try this location. Well I ended up dining here the other day and had one of the best Thai restaurant experiences. Smelling the dishes on the neighboring tables got me excited because the food actually smelled pungent (in a good way) of fish sauce and aromatic herbs. I've had a lot of disappointing khao sois in town, but Weera's crispy duck khao soi was perfectly delicious. Duck was not too fat, soup was flavorful, not overly salted like other restaurants over salt to make up for lack of flavor. Pad Thai was on the sweeter side but still delicious. Beef salad with sauce that had a punch. Quality food here at Weera! Very clean and beautiful restaurant with superior service.

Yelp
Phenomenal Thai restaurant with DELICIOUS foods & kind staffs!! We recently dined here with our couple friends & their toddler girl. Our friends suggested Weera, and we were so elated to have tried this place out. We ordered a ton of food for four adults & two toddlers. We had the crispy duck Panang; crab fried rice; papaya salad; Khor Moo Yang pork, and BBQ chicken. Everything tasted so amazing & fresh. The service was a bit slow on an early Sunday afternoon, but the super friendly staffs made up for it! The restaurant was beautiful with lots of seating options. We cannot wait to return again.

Yelp
Although we've been coming to Las Vegas for several years had never eaten at a Thai restaurant. Weera Thai was recommended by our Thai born taxi driver who recommended we eat here. He was spot on with his recommendation. Weera Thai is as authentic as you can get. The food is excellent and was cooked perfectly. The eggplant and beef was perfect and so was the traditional green curry. The service was superb and the ambience of the place was great. The desserts were awesome both the coconut icecream and the mango and sticky rice pudding were perfect. A great restaurant if you are visiting Las Vegas.

Yelp
We went for lunch after a meeting, and my team was happy I picked this location. Every dish we ordered was delicious, cocktail and mocktail too. The restaurant is nicely decorated , making it feel like Thailand vibes. Our server was so nice and patient. We have a friend who is allergic to gluten and will ask about ingredients used in each dish. I would definitely come back again.

Yelp
While I haven't dined in every single restaurant in Vegas, I feel confident in saying this restaurant is one of the best ones there! The Pad Thai was insanely delicious! And the frozen mango drink was phenomenal, it was mango purée, none of that cheap icy slush most places serve frozen drinks! We also really loved the crab Rangoon wontons! The interior is beautifully decorated and well maintained! The service is top tier, everyone was working hard to offer the best experience! S/O to our server John! He was so attentive and helpful, his enthusiasm and charisma was infectious- we loved him! THIS PLACE IS WORTH LEAVING THE STIP or making a stop to!

Yelp
I've been coming to Weera for 13 years now, but today was my parents' first visit. They usually stick to Korean restaurants due to the language barrier, but they absolutely loved Weera! We ordered the spicy basil clam, pad thai, and Panang curry with rib eye, and everything was delicious as usual. I felt the Panang curry was a bit watery, but I've never had it with rib eye before, so maybe that's just how it is. A pleasant surprise was that they carry Jinro Soju Original, which is my mom's favorite soju. I didn't expect this since not many places offer the original (people tend to drink fresh or flavored varieties). That was definitely a plus, and my mom will likely come back more often now, lol. The staff are always friendly and attentive at this place. We received fast and fantastic service and enjoyed our dinner. Thank you!

Yelp
Small place, decor is nice, we ordered some mocktails that were listed as $7 on the menu, they also had some special slushy mock tails, no price listed...we were shocked to find out once we got the bill that they were $15 a piece, for a nonalcoholic drink that is too pricey in my opinion. I wish they would have posted the price on the picture but we should have asked before ordering 4 of them! My faves are the fried pork belly, the mango salad and green apple salad. Pad Thai and pad see ew were good. Good flavor and good noodle texture.

Yelp
Weera Thai took me by surprise when I entered to find it super cute inside (lots of colors and flowery). We went on a weekday and were surprised at how busy it was. We did get sat immediately so no issues there. The service was great. The server was knowledgeable, prompt and attentive. The pad Thai was delicious. I don't care for the noodles to be super saucy, which this was not the saucy kind which was good for me. Also the sauce was a good balance of salty, sweet and tangy. The pork belly and papaya salad was SO good and addicting.
google avatar

Yelp
The food selection was extensive! All of traditional Thai recipes in addition to others! Great selection of appetizers and great lunch specials! I really enjoyed the calamari and crab sticks! We also ordered Thai basil chicken which was excellent the chicken was high quality and the vegetables were fresh. We also ordered an eggplant chicken dish which was amazing! The fried rice and pad Thai were very good as well! The Penang curry was excellent. The orange chicken was over cooked and not that tasty. The decor in the Rainbow location was whimsical! I was transported to a beautiful wonderland! The flower wall and bicycle, the hanging umbrellas were just a few of the beautiful things I remember! The other location was more old school not that remarkable, dark. The service was excellent!
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down, this is the best Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. All the appetizers are absolutely perfect. The pad see ew is heavenly, especially when the chef remembers to make it spicy as requested. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the crab fried rice. It's extremely bland, so I kindly asked the waiter if they could add a spoon of Tom yum paste (since they already have Tom yum fried rice) to the crab fried rice. The waiter refused, stating it wouldn't taste good, which isn't true since I make it that way at home. Other than that, the place is wonderful.

Yelp

Yelp
This place was good. Service was great. Food came out quick! And each dish was very tasty. Don't think you could ever order something "wrong" here cause they were all so yummy. Clean restaurant and lots of seating. Their mango sticky rice with the warm coconut milk really hit the spot for dessert!

Yelp
This is a very quaint restaurant. I came in for lunch and had a really good dining experience. The menu here is huge so it was hard to decide on what dish to try. I settled for the Papaya Salad which came with deep fried pork belly and pork skins. The salad was incredible! It was light, crispy and had just a touch of spice in the dressing. Spice levels range from 1-5 and I ordered a 2. The pork belly was crispy and not very fatty which I loved. The pork skins were kind of meh to me. They reminded me of the kind you get in the chip aisle and I don't much care for those.

Yelp
Wait time was 30 min on prime time dinner hour of 7:30pm Wednesday night which was not a surprise because the food is worth the wait! Me and my family of 5 total ordered the perfect amount of food and each dish had authentic traditional flavors that's so good your taste buds would love it! The place is well decorated and definitely feels like a modern Thai restaurant! Vegas has definitely got a Thai spot to eat, will be coming back every time

Yelp
As soon as we walked in we got seated so that was nice. I think this will be my go to Thai place if I want something quick and efficient service. the food portions is pretty good size. This one is located in a busy street in Sahara so parking might be a challenge in their peak hours. They do take reservations but not for the same day is what I was told. The restaurant is not too big and they have a small bar inside.

Yelp
Let's just start off with why I had an extra long lunch. The atmosphere was great. It was a memorable lunch. A lot plays into this review. The ice tea was very fresh. Good strong ice tea. I sat down and next to me a gentleman and two ladies. You could so tell they were mother and daughter. Very pretty. Very nice. They told me her son was in construction in LA. The mom. I asked what was good. They told me the fried rice with pineapples was good and I love pineapples. I told them I was going to make a rose out of the napkin. They had a confused look about them when I said that. As the rose started to take shape they loved it. The gentleman ask if he could buy it for the mom. I told him just he could have it. I wish I would have ask the their names. I enjoy dining out meeting people. The gentleman did come and give me business card. I've got to call and ask him about the beautiful daughter. I hope I can make her a rose. Plus the food and service was great. Btw. Before I knew it she bought my lunch. All I can say is I feel like a winner in life putting a smile on a face one day at a time.

Yelp
The decor in here is beautiful. The menu has a lot of items so it can be hard to decide what you want to try. The servers are very nice here and the food was very good - great flavors, super fresh ingredients. The crispy duck salad was a nice explosion of flavors mixing salty, sweet and spice! This is a big dish so it's shareable for a party of 3-4 easily. I always try a fried rice because it's a classic side item and it did not disappoint. Plenty of flavor, good portion. The beef rice noodle dish was tasty. It resembles a chow fun to me which is why I really like it. The string beans with pork packed a good bit of heat since it was ordered very spicy. The depth of flavor is good. Lastly, the coconut ice cream was a great end to dinner. So refreshing! Loved it!

Yelp
I've been visiting this Restaurant for a couple of years now ever since I saw the great yelp reviews. On this visit we started out with Tom Yum Gai with spice level 3/5 (our first time ordering soup here). Everyone enjoyed the soup but I had to tap out after finishing only a third of my bowl. It was way too sour and spicy for me. I love spicy but this was way over the top for me and I ended up ordering a Thai Iced Tea to reset my palette. I was afraid of everything that was to follow because we ordered everything 3/5 spice level. Here's the breakdown of the dishes that followed . Papaya Salad with Crispy Pork Belly - I was surprised that the pork belly had a light crisp seasoned batter and it was very tasty on its own. Surprisingly the papaya salad was mild even though we had ordered it 3/5 spice level. I could just eat this by itself with some rice. I thought the fried pork belly would be way too heavy but it was not heavy at all. Rad Nar- This noodle dish is probably the best version in all of LV. The gravy was very good and I loved they used Chinese Broccoli instead of regular Broccoli and there was plenty of it. The portion was huuuuge. It would have been better if the Chinese Broccoli was not over cooked. Khao Soi with Crispy Duck - this version is unlike any other version I've had so far. The broth is So thick it's more like a gravy. It's almost identical to their Penang Curry. Surprisingly it was not spicy at all. The better choice for the protein would be the Ribeye or NY Steak IMHO which is what I usually order. I did not care for the batter on the duck. The service tonight was excellent as usual. Next time we'll have to try some more dishes from the Isaam menu.

Yelp
Food was so delicious!!! Service was good.Decor was cute. The only thing that was frustrating was trying to get on the waiting list to get a table, however the food was worth it.

Yelp
Went here for my mothers birthday, the whole family enjoyed it, we have been to over 50 thai places, this one checks all the boxes. and has real tom kha soup in good portions. Fresh flavorful chicken. Exceptional service. When in las vegas this is the thai spot to go 2. We tried a couple here aswell and this is the best one. China town location is my favorite.

Yelp
We were staying at the Palace Station down the street and looking for a place to eat dinner. Weera Thai popped up, and I was intrigued by a Yelper's claim that it had the best rad na in the city. So, off we went, and I can say that I agree! I have tried rad na in various restaurants across the West Coast. Their version of rad na is definitely at the top of my list! The gravy is so flavorful and perfectly silky smooth. I appreciated that all staff were friendly and courteous even though we walked in right at 9 pm, an hour before closing. We got cocktails and my lychee cocktail was delicious, with a perfect blend of sweet and sour. I loved that they had plastic pink plates for the little kids! Some people might think the portions are small for the price but I was glad we didn't have any leftovers since we didn't have a fridge in our hotel room.

Yelp
Food and service were on point. Nice ambience. We came just right when they open so it wasn't busy at all

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Thai food! One of my favorites of all time now. Came here with my family and we genuinely enjoyed the flavors and portion size here. What we ordered: -Crispy Duck Pad Kee Mao: Duck is a specialty at Weera and it is evident across many of the menu offerings. We adore flat rice noodle dishes so we had to order this one. When it came out, I initially felt like the noodles looked bland as they didn't have as much color as other spots I've tried over the years, but I was very pleased after tasting it. The thai basil flavor was SO fragrant and lovely. Noodles were cooked well. The duck was crispy as advertised and there were no bones or bone fragments in the duck meat. Loved this dish. -Som Tum "Sarm Lor" Pork Belly: This is a very large platter, perfect for sharing in a family. It's basically the papaya salad dish but with the added addition of fried pork belly, chicharron, and some fresh greens. You can get a little bit of everything onto your plate and eat it together for great flavor and texture. I usually don't care for papaya salad at other Thai spots because I find them to be too acidic and sour in taste but Weera's is perfect! -Panang Curry w/Beef: We asked for a 3/5 spice and didn't think it was spicy. It was really smooth and delicious with rice (you are provided with one small bowl of white rice; any additional bowls are subject to charge). This curry is very coconut-forward so if you like your curry with less pronounced coconut flavor, I would suggest ordering a different curry. The meat was tender and I enjoyed this dish. -Sua Rong Hai BBQ Beef: This dish is very similar to the "crying tiger" dish that other Thai restaurants offer. The meat was really tender and moist and had good char flavor. The tamarind dipping sauce gave a hit of acidity. Delish. -Thai Iced Tea: Probably the only critique I have for Weera. I found the Thai tea to be far too sweet. I wouldn't mind a more tea forward drink with less condensed milk. The restaurant and parking: Weera has multiple locations but we opted for this one as it was closest to our place of stay. The restaurant is fairly spacious and well decorated; bathrooms were clean. Employees were attentive. Parking was easy to find around 1pm on a Saturday. Overall: Menu is extensive. Great offerings and delicious food. Will definitely be back!!!

Yelp
Best Phad Thai I have had in a very long time! Good food, friendly service, pretty decor & by the airport made this a nice way to end our Vegas trip before catching our flight. Phad Thai got with shrimp medium spice level and it was excellent $16.95. 5* Thai Papaya Salad with Shrimp was made to order so very fresh (but something was a bit bitter, perhaps the lime?) $15.95. 4.5* Crab Fried Rice fluffy steamy fried rice with good amount of lump crab! $29.95. 4.5* Thai Iced Tea comes with a lot of ice free with Yelp checkin Service friendly service & easy to get her attention. (food didn't come out as quickly as thought considering not too full but giving benefit of the doubt it is because they make with the dishes with extra care. Located -plaza near the SW corner of the airport & took 7 minute to our terminal via Uber -the plaza is the NW corner of Las Vegas Blvd & Hidden Well Rd (parallel to Hey 215) -enter the plaza just before the corner (note: turning right at the corner takes you straight onto Hwy 215 without any entrance into the plaza!)

Yelp
We had the best lunch at Weera Thai with our extended Las Vegas family. We ordered a variety of dishes: shrimp spring rolls, chicken wonton soup, ground chicken Thai basil, tofu Thai fried rice, shrimp pad Thai, Mongolian beef, and sticky rice with their house made coconut ice cream. Fantastic. Everything was absolutely delicious. They have mastered all of the flavors for their dishes. The only unexpected taste was the Mongolian beef as it was prepared differently from another restaurant we frequent. The service from Wee (spelling?) was kind and attentive. The restaurant filled up after our 11:00 arrival. Highly recommend WT...it's one of our most favorite Las Vegas places to eat when we visit.

Yelp
Really amazing Thai food in Las Vegas! Everything we ordered didn't disappoint. We ordered the grilled Seabass, drunken noodles, spicy shrimp fried rice and more drunken noodles. The service was good and staff were friendly. They answered all our questions in depth and were very knowledgeable.

Yelp
I eat Thai food at least once a month. This visit, I tried their papaya salad, chicken padthai. Both were delicious and authentic. Their prices were reasonable, portions were fair, service was friendly. Decor was warm and clean. Their taste profile was different than Lotus of Siam's, due to a the difference in styles and regions. But certainly possessed the authentic of a great Thai restaurant. I would highly recommend and give it 5/5.
google avatar

Amy Y.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 I ordered the pad thai with chicken and my friends ordered pad see ew, crying tiger steak, pineapple fried rice. The pad thai is delicious, not too sweet or sour. Compared to some other thai places I've had that have lots of sauce and more sour or sweet flavors, I appreciate the subtle blend of flavors that don't overwhelm each other. Big portion and I took half leftover. The service is amazing, the waiters are so sweet and come around to fill water appropriately and ask if we need anything. It was my friends bday and they came to sing and brought her a free dessert (coconut flavored ice cream - delicious) and a small happy bday sign. Ambiance is relaxing, beautiful thai decor, light jazz music. Good place for a casual date night.

Yelp
SO SO GOOD. Truly authentic Thai food. We got the papaya salad, crab rangoons, pineapple fried rice and pad see ewe. Chinatown location is my favorite!!

Yelp
Great Thai food and make a reservation. This place was super busy! The favors were authentic Thai and I enjoyed the food. Portions were average, spice level was on spot for mild/medium. Not super close to me, they have other locations so I'll most likely go to the one at Shanghai Plaza. The Sahara location does have a lunch menu.

Yelp
Trust the reviews, the food here is amazing. I stopped by with a small group of friends for dinner on a weeknight and we were immediately seated and helped. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but we had to flag down our waiter a couple of times. In his defense, we ate the food SO fast because it was phenomenal. We ordered the chicken fried rice, panang curry, and pad thai to share around the table. Everyone only had good things to say. My favorite was definitely the curry -- I wish I was in town long enough to try their other curry options.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're in Vegas, this restaurant is so worth it. With groups or on a date, the portions were generous. The restaurant is on the smaller end so expect a wait during dinner hours. We waited 45 minutes for a group of 7 but it was so worth it. While you're waiting take a look at the menu to see what you want to order. I am growing to be a Thai food enthusiast. Each dish that includes spice is customizable, although I did notice it runs on the spicier end. Be prepared and get mild if you're not big on spice. Luckily, our group was good with spice. I never go for squid salad so I was pleasantly surprised by the dish, and would definitely recommend to others. Tom yum 10/10 and super full of a variety of seafood. Overall, delish!!!

Yelp
Came to Weera Thai during our trip to Vegas to relax. My wife's cousin referred us here and we ordered a large selection of food. Overall, the food was good and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed it and would recommend those looking for some Thai options to come here. They also have other locations in the Las Vegas area.

Yelp
I ordered papaya-salad spicy 5, added crab and my friend ordered boat noodles. We had 2 appetizers which were fish cake and couldn't remember the name but they were like golden bags. Very delicious! Still want to try other locations. Love that they have the spice tray. Service was good.

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! The decor is beautiful, especially the colorful floral wall art. The food was amazing - my favorite is the crispy chicken panang curry. My go-to item for Thai food is always panang curry, but the crispy chicken makes this better than most! The food is great quality and the service was very good as well. Adding this restaurant to the rotation!

Yelp
Finally found a babysitter and went out for a date night! we were wanting to hit up china town, and had a hankering for Thai. We went to Weera Thai and we were not disappointed! We got the cucumber salad and chicken satay, easily the best flavor of cucumber salad I have had, and the chicken satay was fantastic! Such great flavors going on here. For main courses we ordered chicken Panang curry and Pad Thai with combo meats. It was all freshly made, but the Panang won here. The best Panang I have ever had, chicken was perfectly cooked, and it was perfectly spicy. We like spicy food, but have been burned by ordering too hot before. We had the option of 0-5, and opted for the 3, it was a good level spice, without being overly so, that you can't enjoy it. We will be back! This was a fantastic Thai restaurant in a cool area that offers lots of after meal options- shopping, dessert, etc.

Yelp
We were seated immediately and it looks like they have increased their menu. WOW so many different choices to make. The staff were friendly and quick. They were playing good music and it had a chill vibe. For the appetizer we shared the crab Rangoon. It had great flavor and I loved the dipping sauce. I had the Pad Prik King with chicken and spicy level 4. My meal was so large that I got a second meal out of it. I'm sorry I forgot to take pictures at the restaurant.

Yelp
This place is definitely a hidden find I would have never thought of for a Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. The atmosphere is very cozy, elegant, chill and warming. The staff is very friendly and hospitable even during their busy times due to EDC on a Monday night. They have a bar area, seating area, and wonderful selection of food/beverages more than expected. Too bad, my stomach can fit so much, but I had the Cha Bar, Khao Soi NY Steak, and Roti coconut iced. Definitely need to come back and try more of their dishes and different locations, as I was told the decor is really nice.

Yelp
This restaurant is truly authentic Thai. The food was wonderfully balanced and full of flavor. The food was praised by a group of people inside. My server is an angel, and I love her. Love you to visit here again and enjoy another great meal of happiness.

Yelp
Weera Thai is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Thai flavors in Las Vegas. Their menu boasts an impressive array of dishes, each bursting with the vibrant and aromatic flavors that define Thai cuisine. One standout dish that keeps me coming back is the crab fried rice. It's a symphony of textures and tastes, with generous chunks of succulent crab meat, fluffy rice, all expertly seasoned and wok-tossed to perfection. It's a simple dish elevated to extraordinary heights. The catfish salad is another winner, featuring crispy catfish shreds atop a refreshing bed of greens, herbs, and a tangy dressing. It's a light and flavorful appetizer that perfectly balances the richness of other dishes. For those seeking a heartier option, the street food duck with noodles is a must-try (sorry I can't remember the name). Their roasted duck with curry-like sauce and noodles is an absolute showstopper. The moment this dish arrives at your table, the aroma alone will transport you to the bustling streets of Bangkok. The duck is perfectly roasted, with crispy skin and succulent meat that practically melts in your mouth. The sauce is rich, creamy, and bursting with complex flavors that dance on your palate. The noodles are perfectly cooked, absorbing all the deliciousness of the sauce. I'm salivating just thinking about it! It's a dish that will haunt your dreams, leaving you craving another bite. If you're a fan of rich, flavorful dishes, this is a must-try. And if you're lucky enough to visit during mango season, their mango sticky rice is a delightful dessert. The sweet, ripe mango paired with the creamy coconut sticky rice is a match made in heaven. For durian lovers, Weera Thai recently introduced a durian dessert that my friends rave about. However, as a durian-hater, I can't personally vouch for it, but it seems to be a hit with those who appreciate the pungent fruit.

Yelp
The best Thai food I have had in Vegas as of yet, there are a few that give this place a run for its money but the food... is... opulent It is authentically delicious and the menu, without exception, has savory, unique and smashing flavors and mouthwatering dishes for everyone in our party. My wife doesn't like spice and neither does her mom, but this place makes it worth the "pain" of the heat to experience the authentic Thai flavor for them. I love the kao soy with the chicken, and the papaya salad is a sharing plate my wife second guesses in sharing with every bite she takes. The ambience and service here matches the opulence of the golden tapestry and ornaments found inside the restaurant and is a credit to this city in making the food scene all the better. I have lived here 12 years, don't leave the city due to the food scene and this is my favorite place to eat in the food capital of the world known as Las Vegas .. I couldn't recommend this place any higher.

Yelp
Came back for the crispy papaya salad and it was amazing. It is light and airy, not heavy or oily. The green beans balance the dish sauce, and the acidity of the tomatoes is perfect. Of course we also had to get crispy duck curry again which was just amazing as the last. They changed the menu slightly and they now have happy hour from 4-8 M-F. You bet I'll be back again!

Yelp
Our other night's dinner was spent at Weera Thai (on W. Sahara Ave.) FOOD & DRINKS At first, we ordered drinks and some appetizers. I had a Lychee Temple and my husband had the Bluemoon. Thereafter, we ordered Kung Sarong, shrimps wrapped in crispy noodles. It was delicious, especially after dipping them on the sweet and sour sauce. For the table, we shared the following: Pad Thai, Papaya salad, Chilean Sea-bass with spicy sauce, and the Yellow curry with chicken katsu. The sea bass melted in my mouth as I ate it with rice soaked in its spicy sauce. The yellow curry was ordered by our friends. Again, another delicious dish. I couldn't decide which one was my favorite. SERVICE Our server, Kay, was pleasant and engaging. AMBIENCE The place is definitely not a place you would take a date and have a one-on-one talk. It was packed! I would come back to Weera Thai (on Sahara) again, and will definitely recommend this Thai restaurant while you're in the Las Vegas area.

Yelp
Guys, I can't talk about this place enough. Our friend's mother told us this Thai Restaurant is one of the best and she is RIGHT. We ordered food to go, and got the following: - Nam Khao- 5/5 - Roast Duck Pad Thai- 10/10!! IT WAS SO GOOD!! - Pad See Ew- 5/5 - Thai Egg Rolls- 5/5 - Green Curry- 10/10!!! All the food portions were great, pricy, but honestly, worth the price! They give you plenty of nam khao and pad thai noodles. Absolutely loved it and would definitely come back to get it!

Yelp
Great lunch specials at the Sahara location. This is part of a small chain of Las Vegas Thai restaurants. For around $15-18, you can count on having a delicious lunch. Each one comes with a good portion of salad and soup. We ordered the Thai iced tea but didn't know it had half and half. My companion and I are lactose intolerant so we couldn't drink it at all. The waiter was nice enough to exclude it from our order. Back to the food. We are the papaya salad with bbq chicken and the Tom Kha noodle soup. Both dishes hit the spot. The papaya salad was refreshing and the Tom Kha was sour and delicious! Sorry no pictures. I was too hungry and forgot. The ambiance was good. Mid-range place for work lunches and outings. I would come back again for my next vacation.

Yelp
Weera Thai, specifically their Sahara location, has been recommended to me countless times, and I was finally able to try it today! From beginning to end the service was amazing. We were greeted with a smile, they gave great suggestions to things that were unfortunately out of stock, and were overall very kind and helpful the whole time. For the food we tried: -Pad Se Ewe lvl 2 spice (5/5), this was super flavorful and the lvl 2 spice was enough just for a little kick at the end. I'll go 3-4 next time! The portion was much bigger than I thought also for $14 -Mongolian Beef (4/5), I was expecting the beef to be fried or battered but the way this was prepped was good also! The sauce was very light and slightly sweet even with lvl 3 spice. -Taro Puff (10/5), this was SO GOOD in all the best ways. Warm, flakey, savory and sweet from the coconut sauce they serve on the side! I love that they have such a huge menu and that they include a large list of mocktails. The Lychee drink we got was super refreshing and I loved the hint of coconut:)
