Wendy's

A few things here. Started out very good. The customer service was extremely friendly and welcoming. My wife went in wanting to order chicken tenders. They were out. There are no excuses to be out of chicken. We really were not negatively impacted by that, but...still. We ordered the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger Combo. The arrangement on the tray was amazing. It led us to be so excited to get to a table to finally have dinner. We looked it over, removed top portion of the bun. The tomato and lettuce looked as if a garden was grown just outdoors it was so fresh. We were so very impressed. We tried the burger and this is the result: we had to add catchup...there were no condiments on the burger. I would have added mustard, mayonnaise, catchup, and an onion (the burgers had a very little amount of mayonnaise - not enough to taste). The bun was fresh, but cold; it would have completely changed the taste for the better, if the bun was buttered and toasted (with the added ingredients I just mentioned along with a toasted bun - you would have a very competitive burger for the price). To continue, the fries were made from quality potatoes as they were whole, but needed to be more crispy. They have potential, but need work. The type drink machine is amazing as you can mix different flavors of sodas such as coke, vanilla coke, cherry coke, etc. My wife and I absolutely love to be able to do that. However, the machine was out of some of the flavors. That's super unfortunate. Overall, the food was a bit less than average. The lobby was clean at the tables, but the windows were horribly nasty. And, the tv and fireplace were an eyesore since they were just hanging there not being used. To conclude, this location definitely has potential. But, the changes needed come straight from management making sure every customer experience has them wanting to come back. Out of chicken, out of soda flavors, and a filthy lobby (windows) all come from management taking care of business! We walked out of the lobby discussing that we did not anticipate wanting to come back anytime soon. I certainly do hope reviews matter and take them as a way to listen, learn, and grow. Because the business depends on customers being satisfied and wanting to come back for more. On this visit, our first at this location, that did not happen! This is the second Wendy's in a row that have been negative experiences for us. That's not a good thing for this particular franchise! Do better or shut the doors! Respectively!

Most days the employees are exceptional however, today they were ignorant and rude. 5 employees within that building and had to wait in line for 10 minutes, no one taking orders. Then had to go inside and wait another ten minutes just to place a order. On top of that the food was stale and cold. If I could rate it less than one star I would. Very dissatisfied with the service and the quality.

Dine in. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. They were out of lettuce and the chicken was very thin. A wall panel was missing in the dining room. The drink machine was that all in one. The normal soft drinks always taste funny.

Not sure exactly what happened. The floor is soaking wet all the time by the drink machine. I’m not talking about spots of water I’m talking the entire floor. As we pulled off we noticed and employee was parked in the only handicapped spot in the parking lot… the food was okay. The service was okay. The cleanliness of the restaurant is questionable.

Paying almost $30.00 for two large big bacon meals for not ONE piece of bacon to be found on either sandwich when I got home is not only insulting but highway robbery!!! I said hold the onion not the bacon 🥓... To hungry to come back and complain but full enough to write this review and complain

We got to Wendy’s at 10:15 wanting breakfast. We sat in the drive thru line at the place to order for 10 minutes. They took our breakfast order, told us to hold for 5 more minutes, then began putting in our order for lunch. After I asked for breakfast again, they said they were out. They weren’t out when we got there. Breakfast wasn't we got there. They just made us wait so they wouldn’t have to make anymore breakfast food.

No doubt in my mind this location will be one that is closed by Wendy’s corporate in 2026. It consistently underperforms all the other Wendy’s in this region by a large margin both in quality and customer service. There’s nothing on the menu that takes 14 minutes to prepare, it’s called FASTFOOD for a reason.

Went through the drive thru. The lady that was working was extremely rude, to the point that we almost canceled our order and left. Horrible service and forgot some of our food.

Went inside to place an order because it was too chilly to sit in the car. Stood at the counter and was ignored. Employees were too busy entertaining each other. As I started to leave, one came over and said can I help you? I said not now, I'll go somewhere else.

This place lacks the capability to operate as a business. Went through the drive thru and ordered. The girl rang my order up wrong and after paying, we noticed it on the receipt, so we said something to her. She informed me that she would give us the right order. After pulling up to the door and waiting for well over 20 minutes with the employee coming out 2 different times wondering what our order even was, they still brought us the wrong order. I went in to confront them, and they looked at me like I had 5 heads. The "manager" told me the girl had no authority to give us what we intended to order even though it was at their fault. She was very rude and caused a scene telling me I needed to pay for the right order and acted like I made the whole story up. That manager is the epitome of why fast food workers don't deserve more than minimum wage.

I try to be fair when I leave a review however my wife was severely disrespected by the staff. My wife placed her order and when she got to the window someone took her card and gave her her food. She sat there waiting on drinks because apparently you can't sub a frosty for a drink that already comes with the meal anymore. Then an employee comes to the window shouting a total in which the my wife stated " I already gave you my card" this made the employee mad and we heard another employee say what the F did she say. The employee located the card and then she said that she didn't take it you didn't hand it to me using condescending tone. We understand that we're not going to receive Chick-fil-A treatment but we don't want to go somewhere where we are completely disrespected.

Went thru the drive thru on our way home from Birmingham. Ordered a jr burger and small chili. Got to the window to pay and they gave me the burger no chili. Made me go thru the drive thru, now 5 cars deep, to reorder the chili. Got to the window to pay, manager was there. I explained this was my second trip thru and she stared at me with glazed eyes like she didn't understand. Needless to say, I gave my husband the chili, went on our way. My husband went to eat the chili and they gave him a fork. Unbelievable!!! What a complete waste of time and money. On the bright side, there is a new Chick-fil-a up the road! Just for clarification, Alexander City location!

This is the nastiest rudest place in Alexander city. How they even are able to stay open is beyond me. The burgers are soaked in Mayo and ketchup. Lettuce is disgusting and wilted. And the employees are rude. I ordered drinks...some were coke and Coke Zero. Lids are never marked. I gave this place a try twice...NEVER AGAIN. Who ever the manager is should be ashamed of how her/his store is represented. But I'm thinking they don't care...so there's that.

Service is horrible! We just sat in line for 20 minutes and no one answered! Two cars ahead and 5 behind with no service! Worker just standing there looking out the window.

The lady who took my order( during a huge rush) was calm, cool, and collected! She was efficient without making us feel rushed at all. The lady making the food was working so hard and going so fast. I'm not sure what these people make but they need a raise!!! Definitely the best Wendy's I've ever been to!

I made an order here and paid cash. Within 5 minutes I knew my order was ready because they announced "Mr David, your order is ready." I NEVER gave them my name. I asked the server behind the counter how she knew my name. She said, "It's printed on the ticket." How did Wendy's know my name? From Yelp location services? Some other App? Checking my apps there were some with location services were "alway" on (Yelp,Weather Channel, to name a few). People turn off locations services (except when using the app). I never inquired from Yelp for a Wendy's location either. I saw it on a billboard. PS: Food was OK.

Visited at lunch time 12:00 noon. Service was quick , food was warm and delicious, staff was very friendly and the bathrooms were clean.

Horrible service! We waited 30 minutes before I just walked out with nothing. Manager was ignoring me at 20 min when I asked if our order was forgotten about. Soda machine was broke and neither of them had ice.

Food is ok. But staff needs a lot of work. Woman asking my order kept walking away so it took a while to place my order. Other employees where walking out of the kitchen to talk with non customers in the lobby. Took way to long to get our food.
