Please do not go to this Wendy’s literally go to any other Wendy’s. The food quality is always tasting old and stale I really don’t understand how each time I go it keeps getting worse- when I asked for an extra sauce the manager told me I received enough already and the one thing you can’t mess up- the chicken nuggets were soggy and stale I’m really disappointed in this location cause it’s the closest to me but now I have to drive out to another location to get a decent meal. I’m not picky at all but the food at this location seriously needs to be reviewed and inspected.

EVERY TIME and I mean EVERY TIME I come and get a biggie bag and a Dave single they never give me the biggie bag I try calling back the store and they let it ring endlessly it is so frustrating because It’s inconvenient for me to come back to this crappy ass store I ordered around 10:55pm-11:10pm janurary 9th 2025 way to start the year with a terrible review I kept giving chances to this store as I love Wendy’s but this is the last time I will ever come here. Don't eat here!!! Watched a customer bring back "soggy fries" only to see the worker throw the fries back into the fry bin, then give them to the drive thru customer. I told the manager and she did not empty the bin even after telling her. Customer service is terrible as well at this Wendy's. Go elsewhere!

A very pleasant experience at the Wendy's restaurant located in Potomac Run Plaza in Sterling, VA off Route 7. At first,I was at the drive-thru, but I asked if diving in was possible once confirmed, I parked and proceeded inside where I ordered the Number two, the Baconator with three straps of hamburger meat. It was a combo with fries and a drink. Once, I received my meal the assistant manager came to soak with me because I was taking pictures. He was very nice and asked why I was taking pictures. We got into a great conversation as I explained I was a Google Maps z Local Guide, visiting restaurants and providing my opinion of my overall experience. He was very pleased and gave me the background of this particular Wendy's, which had been at this location for about thirty years. In addition, two years ago the store went through a renovation, which explains why the place was so immaculate as far as cleanliness. He explained that every fifteen minutes they clean the facility for customers and maintaining their COVID-19 regulations. In any case, I was very satisfied with my visit and the hospitality demonstrated. The did was good, the service above average and the management's effort to ensure I was going to enjoy my visit.

Went here around midnight, ordered 6 Jr. Cheesburgers all the bread was stale and hard as a rock, the meat was totally burnt like it was re heated in the microwave 500 times, veggies were fresh but totally failure on quality of food. This practice of saving food past it's hold time, seems to be a problem here. Pretty much gave me old, burnt, stale, reheated in the microwave food cooked hours ago... glad I didn't get sick. This place need new management

Replace the management, they're very stingy, if you ordered a decent amount of food, ask for sauce, you only get one and no more. Also been ripped off, ordered a 1$ topped fries w/ 5$ purchase, ordered a biggie bag aswell, staff decided to give me only the topped fries but not the ones that also come w/ the biggie bag. Ever since this place franchise became under Indian (Bhārat Gaņarājya) management or ownership it has dropped down significantly in quality and customer service. Food is not as good as it used to be, the inside is filthy and dirty. If you go through the drive thru they automatically assume that you don't want ketchup for your fries or a sauce for your nuggets. They even have the audacity to put it on the OCS before asking you if you want any sauce. Every single hotel or restaurant business they put their hands on is the same story. This place doesn't even deserve a one star.

Since the drive thru line was long, parked and went inside to order. The one employee taking orders, handling cash, etc was also preparing food for the to go customers or those eating there. She did not have gloves on when picking up the containers of nuggets, fries, burgers, etc...

This was the absolute worst Wendy's I've ever been to. Not only were they rude af and acted like s they didn't want me there, the food was horrible. They just put cheese on an old sandwich as well as giving me fries being old and cold. Not to make it racial, but it always seems that when Latinos find out that the customer is black, you get crappy service like this. I'll never go there again EVER. This is bad and you all should do something about this.

What a wonderful place of business! I just had a VERY negative experience at another POB and so I came over to this Wendy's to eat and I received (as usual) from this awesome location was EXCEPTIONAL greeting and happy faces and wonderful food. It made me remember that every time I come to this place I get the SAME quality service I get from like a Chick-fila and they do it here with like 1/3 the employees. The owner of this place has made VERY important hiring decisions and your current rooster of employees are too notch. There's that wonderful black lady who works in the evening and the always smiling girls that work the place during the midday. I hope this get to the owner because you have a crew of people that are 100% gaining sales per month. I know this because I will now be coming here more instead of going back to the place that tested me awfully. TOP TIER recommend this location :)

Drive-thru only user- I frequent this location since it's near my work and I've never had any issue with this staff. They are always very patient and friendly. The food is always hot. Chicken and fries are crispy. Got my first burger in quite some time today and it was damn good.

Walked into the manager yelling at her employees to hurry up, all of the employees looked surprised and sick of working there. When I gave them my order, it wasn't showing up on their system so the manager told me to wait , so I did for about 15 minutes just for her to tell me she can't do anything about it and smirk when I told her how that's unfair especially since the order was paid for. I feel bad for whoever works at this wendy's.

Today is National cheeseburger day. I asked my daughter to pick up some cheeseburgers which are advertised as only 50 cents today. But they took advantage of her youth and in experience and gave her 3 large #1 on the menu, instead of the smaller cheaper cheeseburgers that were on special today, and charged her $22 for the burgers and an order of fries. After seeing all the other awful reviews, its obvious the owner is on on the poor service and lousy employees knowingly. Maybe corporate should suspend their franchise in order to ensure future better service? Of course I would have gone back to the store but no receipt was given, so more poor service.

Went in during lunch time. Stood near the register and not one employee even made eye contact or said they'd be right with me. The one in Ashburn has never had any issues. I suggest you skip this poorly run dump and go to one where they'll actually take your order.

Garbage management. They messed up my order, gave no receipt. I went back to the drive thru and they tried to charge me for the replacement! This trash-ass Wendy's tried to serve me a premade cold burger instead of one correctly made to order, and then tried to charge me double to get the one burger I actually ordered. GTFOH

A couple specific people are pretty nice in the 3 years I've stopped by this location, but definitely also a handful who barely say hello. Main issue is the lines take 15-20 mins about one out of every three times I go, and not due to some large order. I've literally driven away without getting my order or without them even taking my order due to waiting too long about 6-7 times to go elsewhere. They do at least get the food cooked right when I've gone. I work in hospitality though, fixing these issues isn't rocket surgery

Wow, phenomenal Wendy's. Manager Mr. Khan was so patient assisting an elderly guest ahead of us and even helped him out the door to make sure he got out okay. We got our two breakfast combos with piping hot fresh sandwiches and wedges. So good. Will definitely make future stops here.

My boyfriend and I visited last night and ordered 2 meals in the drive through. When placing the order, the man seemed very irritated. But I am a customer service worker and get that some nights suck. So I continued to be kind throughout the entire interaction. Everything was fine until we had gotten home and my boyfriend had found a fingernail in his drink. Absolutely mortified and disgusting. Go to a different Wendy's.

We went through the drive through just before 7pm. By the time we got through the line, the sit down area was closed. We discovered just after we pulled away that not only did they not give us a receipt, but the order was wrong. I got out of the car just as they locked the door. When I said that the order was wrong, the girl inside rolled her eyes at me and said it wasn't her problem, to go get back on the drive-through line. At this point the line had 10 cars in it! I was going to have to wait what looked like more than a half an hour line to get a correction to something *they* messed up! Instead of just getting the manager, she basically blew me off. I have never seen more disrespectful customer service, on top of them messing up my order. I will not be back there.

I mean, to be honest, most people don't take the time to review fast food restaurants unless their experience was horrible, so take all the one stars with a grain of salt. I live nearby here and have never been disappointed. I would actually go to say that this is one of the better Wendy's that I've been to! The location is hard to beat since it's located in a busy shopping center - a convenient stop on the way home from Target or PetsMart, but also easily accessible from Route 7 if you don't want to fight through the parking lot. The food is exactly what you expect from Wendy's. The burgers are better than a lot of other fast food places in flavor, juiciness, and just overall quality. My favorite thing of course are the Frostees!

I would give a lower rating if possible. We waited 30 minutes in line where we could see that the floor behind the registers were covered in fries. My burger was cold and the cheese had been put on last minute and was not melted. All the tables were dirty, garbages overflowing. The manager was a useless bully, causing more delays and miscommunication. We arrived home to find that our tummies were upset. The cause is usually food poisoning from lack of good hygiene on their part or worse. I know it's a fast food place and standards aren't as high as they would be for say Red Lobster. But this Sunday afternoon lunch ruined our day and our opinion of Wendy's and unfortunately of the neighborhood it's located in. Horrible place. If you're in the mood to be tortured, this is the spot.

Sunday night, about 9:00 PM. Kid taking orders did not say a word to me. He just stared at me until I placed my order, then pushed the tray at me, No thank you, no nothing. All the tables were filthy, garbage all over the floor. Chili was thick and dark like it was the bottom scrapings from their pot. Cheeseburger was OK. Yuck.

I don't have unreasonable expectations for fast food. But this was disappointing by any standard. Messed up the burgers Had to go back to counter to get remainder of order Cold fries Burgers that were clearly cooked over an hour ago Litter on the floor in the dining area The manager was being harsh to the cashier and as a result she was surly If it wouldn't have been a hassle to do so I would have asked for a refund and gone to the Five Guys on the other side of the parking lot, which I should have done in the first place.

The service was ok. However they completely messed up my food order. I ordered a large drink, large fry, and original chicken sandwich. Instead I got a bacon cheese burger and bacon cheese fries. I know it's not relevant but I hate bacon. Also, I never got a receipt so I couldn't go in there and tell them they got it wrong as I was on lunch break and didn't have the time to argue. Disappointed and still hungry. Never coming here again. Five Guys will have to to do.

Wanted to give Wendy's a second chance especially with their new special 4 for $4. The service was too shabby because the place is run by a bunch of teenagers who get overwhelmed and freak out when having a few customers in line. The line begins to grow longer and orders get mixed up and delayed. Their double stack hamburger is more like a slider; you can gobble it down in two bites. Their fries are tasteless and their nuggets are too soft and almost mushy. If you're hungry you need to spend about $10 there to feel satisfied. The final verdict: Wendy's is off my list: never again.

They have breakfast now so my husband and I were excited to try it. First of all, this my new favorite fast food breakfast ever! (I still love you chick fil a lol). Maybe it was so good because they just started and it will go downhill as they all inevitably do, but I hope not. But let me tell you about the manager. He was so friendly, and so patient with the cashier who CLEARLY just started. I ordered hot tea and was told they didnt have any. When the cashier asked him, he said they did not, but he actually went and happily got a tea bag from his own personal stash for me! Then "plated" my food on the tray lol it was adorable. The restaurant was clean and inviting.I hope they can keep up the food quality for breakfast.

This place can be either a hit or miss but is typically a dud. The food is normally cold, orders are normally messed up and every now and then you'll come across an employee that can hardly speak English and will just do their own thing instead of getting your order correct.

I ordered the jalapeño fresco chicken sand-which. It was disgusting!! The chicken was so stringy and strange i almost puked!!! Mcdonalds has better chicken than this crap!! The sauce excessive!! It was oozing out and was horrible!! It was like a cheap cheese sauce you can buy for $2. I wont be buying from wendys again. Horrible food. I have this disgusting flavor in my mouth now making me want to gag!

Who reviews a Wendy's? Well, I do, but only because this one is sooooo bad. In my younger years I worked a fryer, so I know how disgusting the fryer oil must look at this Wendy's. It most likely hasn't been changed in weeks. It's nearly black. There is a layer of gooey slim on the fryer basket when you pull it out, along with a thick layer of it along the bottom and slides of the vat. So, if you add chicken nuggets to that oil, you end up with an over-cooked, hard as a rock, turd of a nugget. It's dark brown. It's stinking and saturated with old, dirty oil. And that is how I describe the 6 pack of nuggets I received recently at this Wendy's. Ewww. Never again.

You see these amazing deals on the Television about $1 spicy nuggets or $1 Frosty's, but then you see the "at participating locations" below. Well, Wendy's in Sterling does not participate in anything! Big disappointment. Although, I do encourage you to haggle. Most times you can get a manager override.

This location really is ideal for everyone. I wavered between giving 2 and 3 stars. The burgers/sandwiches are pretty fresh tasting and our orders have been correct for the most part - see below - (very standard orders/no special requests.) My issues which drop it to 2 stars are as follows: 1) The Fries are consistently cold/luke warm...they are never HOT. They taste like they have been sitting there a long time. 2)The drive thru is SLOW. 3) The drive thru order taker is unintelligble and no one in the car can understand what he is saying. He needs to speak up as well as enunciate/speak clearly. 4)If we order a 10pc nugget, we expect to get 10 nuggets...not 9...my kiddo has gotten shorted twice and it's kinda ridiculous that we have to tell the kid to count his nuggets before we leave the drive thru window. With that said, their corporate revamping of the menu has created some fantastic and very tasty new sandwiches...Hello Asiago Ranch Grileld Chicken Club!!!! YUM!
