West Town Bakery And Tap - Review - Chicago - The Infatuation

"This location of West Town Bakery is—you guessed it—right across from the stadium. And like the original in West Town, it has baked goods like cookies, cake balls, and pastries. But because this is Wrigleyville, this spot serves beer, too. It’s still a good place to sit for a cup of coffee and a piece of cake if that’s more your thing. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

West Town Bakery Review - West Town - Chicago - The Infatuation

"If you want to impress vegans and omnivorous friends alike, head over to one of West Town Bakery’s many locations because they have something that will please just about anyone. This Chicago institution serves cakes, scones, muffins, donuts, and about a hundred other things, all of which they make from scratch in their bakery. If you’re looking for a morning treat, you can’t beat their vegan chocolate or banana nut muffins. Alternatively, West Town Bakery is one of the best places to find vegan cupcakes. Theirs are smooth without being too oily, which is sometimes insurmountable in vegan baking, given that oil often replaces eggs. While their flagship location is on Chicago Avenue in West Town, you can also find them in Wrigleyville. Their River North location in the Acme Hotel is temporarily closed, but they expect to open back up in the next few months." - Cyd Seifert

"Instead of being chilly or soaked inside the stadium, fans have stayed dry while enjoying cake pops at West Town Bakery & Tap." - Ashok Selvam

Delicious coffee and a wonderful view - even if you are not a hometown team fan! The staff was friendly and the service was speedy. Delightful pastries as well. Didn't try the breakfast sandwiches because we had already eaten at the hotel, but the descriptions looked amazing. A great place to stop and take in the surroundings.

Good food and coffee! This location is connected to the hotel next door and doesn’t necessarily have the vibes that make you want to hang out a while, but if you’re just stopping through it’s a great option. Service is a bit slow, I saw multiple people get in line only to leave before ordering. Staff was friendly and the lavender lemon scone was delish.

Before I left I was able to get my Goose Island beer on tap here and it was hands down delicious. They also had something called a Homer Donut which Being a huge Simpsons fan I had to get and I didn’t regret my decision whatsoever. The staff was ever so friendly and talkative and this was quite the enjoyable place to visit and kill some time while in the city. You also have the greatest view here as a customer and if you work here your view out the window couldn’t be any better, historic Wrigley Field.

They have amazing pastries, ham and cheese croissant and crème brûlée wheelie are just the best! Coffee was ok, nothing special. Great location and friendly staff. A bit on the pricey side.

Worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Overcooked dry sausage and a HOCKEY PUCK of scrambled eggs. The biscuit was fine. Don't bother with the explanation about how the main kitchen is off premises - this needs to stop being sold. When most restaurants don't have the necessary equipment, they don't serve the food. For anyone considering buying this sandwich: don't. McDonald's is next door and much higher quality. Original review: Outrageous pricing. Small iced coffee, a bottled tea and a cake pop was about $15. This place also closes way too early in the day. Quality is okay - Starbucks cake pops are better and cheaper.

Great little spot to grab coffee, tea, a sandwich or sweet treat! Great customer service, friendly & professional! I stop in every day we’re in town!

This place is so cool. From the interior design to the service and food. I recommend to visit. Prices are reasonable. Spent $40 on 2 coffees, 2 sandwiches, and few cake balls.

Made the cutest birthday cake for me and it was insanely delicious. So moist and flavorful and vegan!
