It’s Called Spaghett and It’s Now My Favorite Summer Cocktail | Bon Appétit

"Found on the brewery's happy-hour menu as the $5 'Spaghett,' this three-ingredient cocktail—Miller High Life, Aperol, and lemon juice—is light, fruity, slightly bitter and just tart enough to keep you sipping. The bubbly, rose-gold drink goes down very easily when served ice-cold and has become the writer's unofficial drink of the summer. It's simple to recreate at home by pouring an ounce of Aperol and lemon juice directly into a bottle of High Life, and it even holds up to experimentation (the author jokes a beer slushie might not be a bad idea)." - ByAlex Delany

Finally deciding to review this place after coming here for over 6 or 7 years. Great finger/bar food (especially their wings) and occasionally other exquisite food items like fresh fried fish, etc. Awesome beer and always attracting the greatest folks in Baltimore. Love coming here.

Stopped by for burger night and happy hour. Everything was good. The fresh house hot sauce is really good, definitely recommend asking for some. Nice spot to grab a bite.

Great spot. Went on burger night and got the Oklahoma for $3 off, burger and fries were both great. Service was good. Beers were above average. A little too dark inside for me but it’s a vibe.

Wet city has some of my favorite beer in the world. Their “Making out with” series is the greatest thing my mouth has landed on beer wise. Also the service here is incredible, the guys behind the bar are so nice and attentive. This was a truly 10/10 experience. I first came here about 2.5 years ago and had a “Making out with Mango” that was the best I’ve ever had, and this place has been in my mind since then and I finally made it back.

Wet City knows how to throw a party! 🎷✨ The hospitality was top-tier, and the New Orleans-themed menu for their Vieux Carré Party did not disappoint! Started with a Sazerac and Hurricane—both perfectly crafted. The Viet-Cajun Shrimp Po’Boy was bursting with flavor, and Monroe Hill’s hot sauce took it to another level. With the other NOLA bites sold out, I called an audible and went for the Fried Enoki Mushrooms and deep-fried mega stuffed Oreos—crispy, gooey perfection. Add in live jazz with the Max Jacobs Duo and this was a night to remember. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
This place is the best of the best - great beer list, fun cocktails that don’t take themselves too seriously, and of course amazing food. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve tried from here but the no temp burger and hot chicken are the two bites I always come back to Also, service is always on point.

Went there to grab a couple of beers. They have a lot of beer choices on tap! We had the Oklahoma Burger and the Mozzarella Sticks. The burger and fries were great!

I was in town for work and looked up a bunch of breweries open on a Monday. I visited this spot and was instantly greeted. I was told about the $12 burger and $3 dry hopped series beer special! I sat at the bar and was recommended several sounds that were incredible! Exceptional service and cool aesthetic. The buyer was great as well. I forgot to get a copy of the check to get reimbursed through my work and Scott Jones promptly helped me get a copy.

Yelp
This place is so dope! Great drinks, the staff is super nice & accommodating, food is well beyond expectations for a drink focused place like this. Atmosphere and vibe are quite diverse, we felt welcome even though we were way less cool than the rest of the clientele. ; ) We got burgers and apps and all were well executed.

Yelp
It's been years since I first went to Wet City, and I was a Yelp Elite back then. Not sure why I never wrote a review before now [shrugs]. That said, I visited Wet City this past Sunday, 6/29 to attend a listening party of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. I came closer to the start of the event and thus I was able to secure a stool at the bar. I like the looks of Wet City - I'd visited this space before it was Wet City and it was in the dive bar category back then, dark and a wee bit gross. However, Wet City is light and bright. Off-white walls and light toned wood (birch???) furniture and fixtures. It gives me Scandinavian vibes, made even better by the awesome art adorning most walls in Wet City. I went with a suggested sour beer, which was OK. Unfortunately I tasted a better beer after I ordered the other, but I'll go back another time for it. Additionally, I ordered a burger which came with fries. There was a bit of delay with my food coming out which was fine given the crowd. The burger was really good! Unfortunately the fries were oversalted and I had to send them back. They came back out with no salt, which was frustrating. Don't swing to the other side of the pendulum, I just want the middle, sheesh. Overall, not a bad visit, but could be better. I'd return to improve my star rating.

Yelp
Fantastic! I had so much fun I forgot to take pictures. Firstly, the beer is good. They make tasty suds and that is important. Secondly, the food is GOOD! SO happy to pop into a place for a drink with friends, because they have nice veg options and the food is stellar. Kimchi Tots are very nice, the fake cheese steak is messy, saucey goodness and Jenny had shrimp tacos, which looked fab. They have chicken and other stuff on the menu, if you prefer that, also looked good. Thirdly, they were nice. My gosh, everybody was friendly and fun, the place was spotless, music was interesting and the right volume to enjoy conversation, lighting was subdued but you can read the menu, loved the old school anime on the tube. Wednesday night was "Whiskey Wednesday" with $10 Old Fashions and Manhattans and they were GOOD! I love this place, will bring an army next time. "You like getting Wet?" "Yes, I did."

Yelp
I had visited once before during the summer and had a nice time so when I saw they were having a wings and vinyl music night, I was interested! I wasn't expected it to be as packed as it was. Luckily I was able to get a table. The space is nice, simple but color. The wings were good and drinks consisted of a variety of canned alcoholic drink or mixed drinks. I only deducted a star because the order process was a little confusing. There weren't any waiter, you had to walk up and wait in line to order. I saw someone come to take dirty plates but they never came to take ours so we sat for hours with dirty plates in front of us. All that said, I would still come back and visit again.

Yelp
Where do I begin?! Wet city is a beautiful gem! I love that it is a place for everyone; date night, friends, and I've even seen families come in and eat. The owner is so kind and personable and helpful when it gets busy. I love the themed music nights!!! It's a good time!! Wing night is exceptional! They partnered with the Sauce King himself Mr Monroe to bring you a top tier wing. The Caesar salad with the chickpeas are chef's kiss!! The purple marg is a hit and the beer selection has something for everyone. Thanks Wet City for always making me feel welcomed!

Yelp
Another favorite bar of mine that I recommend to people looking for something uniquely Baltimore. I've been coming here for years. The first time I really remember being here was for one of the very early Night Brunches (literally the 2nd one, if im not mistaken). They had a great, eclectic menu and DJ Impulse was on the ones and twos; the vibes were amazing! We had the best time on a random Thursday, I think it was, and I've been coming here ever since. Not only is this a great brewery, they have a wide selection of some hoppy, some dark, some light and (most importantly for me) sours and fruit beers, they also have a full bar and make amazing cocktails. The cocktails are fun and unique and match the atmosphere. They also have really awesome food you can get bar snacks like a smashburger or wings but you can also get a special like a crunch wrap supreme or a fried turkey wing around Thanksgiving. They have specials every week plus some seasonal and some themed, which are usually pretty fun. Even when its busy the service is efficient, kind, and courteous. This is also a place where you want to get a spaghett and if you don't know what that is, try it here and think me later!

Yelp
I love this place. Never had food this good served sooo fast. Great service. Smash burgers cooked perfectly, literally melt in your mouth. Good fries. Great drink selection!

Yelp
I'll start off by saying the staff were super nice and helpful with ordering- The drinks my friend and myself got were very bland not much taste at all we got a blue and a pink seltzer kind of drink I can't remember the names of the drinks- might have been Peach, Blue Hibiscus, Mint, Thirst and swoon? My friend said hers was interesting- she couldn't taste the mint- and mine (the pink) didn't taste much like anything- I wish I got the lil smoochie- my other friend said it was delicious. I also got the pickles to go which came out 20 minutes after my friends tator tots came out- but they were the BEST fried pickles I have ever had- The ambiance was chill and the decor was super cute- it was clean and modern. I'll be coming back to try other things on the menu for sure!

Yelp
Burger and fries were yummy. Bartenders are always super friendly and attentive. Vibe is cute and trendy, and the drinks are FANTASTIC. Highly recommend trying the house-made hard cider. Maybe not a place for older people or kids, but wonderful casual hangout for the youngins

Yelp
We very much love the Bmore beer scene, as they have many fantastic breweries with great ambiance & delicious IPAs- I couldn't believe we've missed out on Wet City, during our self-made beer tour trips, as they nailed both of those aspects (though maybe we missed/skipped them because the vibe was definitely more low-key adult only- and we usually have our kids in tow) We visited on a Monday night, for HH to catch up with friends; the place was pretty much dead-giving a darker, more intimate hip vibe- while I was very dismayed to discover the Monday HH $3ish pours wasn't actually a full HH- instead it meant they pick only one beer a night & that's on sale- that really put a kink in my plan to explore the menu ...but that said, the bartender was splendidly friendly about allowing samples so I could narrow down full pour choices at regular price- since the HH didn't pan out & they don't have flights all the IPAs were flavorful, hoppy, with unique profiles- I untapped rated everything in the 4-5* ranges, impressed. they blend very creamy, juicy, dank, and piney variety- we liked them so much we grabbed (well-priced) four packs to go hope I have the opportunity to leave kids behind again & return for another visit-(hoping their other HH day specials fair a bit better)- and I'm already planning my to-go order I will add a note, my friend ordered the burger special with fries & said it was absolutely juicy, delicious- a massive burger well topped well seasoned with crispy hearty fries- highly recommended

Yelp
Every Thursday is a special night at wet city, the wings are amazing, the Service is fantastic and the Atmosphere ( Ambiance ) is one of a kind!

Yelp
Great local brewery that's also the home of a unique new American cocktail (The Spaghet). Has a pretty solid food menu - spicy chicken was a little too vinegary but pretty tasty. Would recommend checking out when visiting Baltimore, very friendly staff

Yelp
Stopped by Wet City to watch the Raven's game. I'm not normally a football-watching kinda person and if I am going somewhere to watch, I prefer to stay away from the madness of Fed Hill or Canton, so Wet City felt like a nice alternative. It was packed! The inside is pretty cool with lots of fun artwork and colorful lights. They only have two small TVs which made catching a view of the game a bit difficult. Literally every seat at the bar and in the dining room was taken. Despite this, service was quick and friendly. I got the prickly pear slushie margarita which was pretty yummy. I also ordered a glass of their sparkling red wine which turned out to be canned. If I had known it was canned, I definitely wouldn't have ordered it. It turned out to be just OK. Sadly, they don't have any ciders here and only one seltzer option which makes the gluten free choices pretty limited. I did try a sip of the seltzer but it was oddly hoppy tasting and not to my liking. On this day, Big Softy was doing a pop up in the kitchen so the only food being served was that menu. His food is amazing and the pizza looked so good. However, I really wish I could've ordered wings or something that didn't contain gluten, so if you're going on the day of a pop up, just know their regular food menu won't be available. All in all, it was a fun visit (even though the Ravens lost) and I'd go back again soon!

Yelp
Once again Yelp & Instagram have found me a new food spot to go to. Parking is a little tricky since a lot of the area has been turned into bike lanes. But once you overcome that little hiccup it's the fun part. The restaurant is great quiet little nice setup with excellent service. I went with the Ribeye cheesesteak it was delicious one knock is I had to add a little steak sauce but it was great. A nice healthy amount of meat & cooked perfectly taste just like it came from a steakhouse. I got the wings for the wife. They were good too nice size cooked perfectly crispy & juicy. Only thing the flavor didn't really do it for me gotta find me a new flavor for the wings but definitely are are worthy of a second chance especially on wing night (Thursday) they are $3 off

Yelp
I've actually been to Wet city a lot and it's always a good time! It's definitely a good place to meet up with people/a group because it's busy enough that you feel like there's a lot going on, but it's not so crowded that you can't hear anything anyone is saying or feel like you're sitting on top of each other. The beer menu and the names of their beers are amazing, totally up my alley, totally love it, and if you're into sour beers you'll be happy too. They don't just have sour beers though, of course! I actually think they have a wide variety, so I guess if you're into beer at all you'll be happy. They have some mixed drinks and cocktails too which I've only tried from other people but no one has ever complained or seemed unhappy with them so I'm assuming those are good too! Also the food. The food is worth a paragraph on its own. I've mostly only had finger food here but everything I've tried I've mostly liked. The great: burger, wings, mozzarella sticks (in the pics with my hand for size comparison). The good: brussel sprouts, fried pickles. Apparently the menu is constantly changing though. And finally, I like that on first look from the outside this place seems like it could be a gay strip club. I like the music choices, it's never exactly the same but always thought provoking, and of course the vibez. These are my favorite kind of places I think.

Yelp
A hipster trendy bar. Came with a few friends on a quiet night. There were some other patrons, but it felt like we were the loudest there. We came to have dinner and drinks before NYE festivities. Ordered a bunch of items but didn't take pictures. Place was a little dark with the "mood lighting". Servers/service were nice and helpful but pretty hands off. You order and pay at the bar. Pick up drinks at the bar; food comes out to your table when ready. Shared the following: Hot Cheeto Deviled Eggs - Meh. It's a fun concept, but didn't quite hit the mark. Coconut Curry Brussels sprouts - surprisingly tasty. The coconut curry sauce was very flavorful and pretty much hid the flavor of the sprouts, which one girl appreciated Hot chicken sandwich - I know it's a fried chicken, but the greasy flavor was overwhelming and I couldn't enjoy it. Burger - this was the hit. I could see why it was voted bested best burger in Baltimore. Fried Oreos for dessert - there was an issue here with the service because they gave our order to someone else when thought they had already brought it out to us. An easy mistake, but had to wait a long time for them. The fried Oreos are the same as you get at the Fair. A tasty treat to end the meal.

Yelp
We came here for the first time and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is very cool - I've never seen an LED fireplace - and the staff are super friendly. There were a few larger groups and people at the bar, but service was really quick. Food: The kimchi tots were really good, I prefer a much spicier kimchi, so these are perfect and mild for anyone who's iffy about trying it! The smash burgers were delicious, I could barely finish my last bites. Beer: We tried a few different beers, the Pilsner-ish and the Vienna-ish were our faves of the night.

Gaby Q.

Yelp
Came here with some friends for happy hour on a Monday and loved the vibes!! The service was great and the food was delicious. We split the Parmesan wings and each got a burger. Their happy hour drinks were delicious as well. Highly recommend this place!!

Steve H.

Yelp
Great smash burger and fries. The perfect quick take out before getting on a train to DC. Staff were all super friendly and attentive despite them being busy. Would come back for sure.

Yelp
Come for the food, stay for the sours! Wet City has quickly become a favorite of ours. Their food is typical bar food but they do it very well. We've had they smash patty burger, Oklahoma burger, hot chicken, buffalo chicken, and poutine fries and liked every one. I suggest checking out their Instagram to see what food and drink specials they have going on when you go. My favorite are their rotating flavor of slushies and their French fries. The French fries are shoe string with some skin left on for the perfect crunch. The down side is that it's not in the greatest area of town. They have bar seating, indoor long benches, and outdoor tables, and on a nice night it's tempting to sit outside, but I've been hassled by both people driving by on the street and people walking by on the side walk. I'll stick with indoor seating.

Yelp
Love the vibes. The food was good as was the service. Great chill place for a casual date or with friends.

Yelp
Wet City is awesome. I love their fun fruity beers, their whimsical cocktails in sippy cups, and the tasty noms. I have had many Wet City beers, but I think their fruity sours particularly stand out. I have never been disappointed by their other wonderful offerings. I first tried one of their cocktails because of the fun to go cups they were using in this COVID era. Their cocktails are creative and delicious. Plus, I now have an incredible array of sippy cups to utilize while walking the dog. Before COVID I really enjoyed meeting up with friends inside. I even went on a terrible date at Wet City that I only didn't walk out of because I was really enjoying my beer. So if you need a first date spot, I promise, a bad date can't ruin Wet City. The food! I have tried and enjoyed quite a few of their offerings. To be totally honest though, the Hot Chicken Sandwich was a bit of a let down and honestly the only thing I've ever ordered that I did not love. My sandwich came pooled in greasy sauce and was over fried. But everything else is amazing. Love the cool ranch Mac and the kimchi tots on my last visit.
google avatar

Maura C.

Yelp
I love wet city! This place has such a cool vibe, but on top of that they also have really good and fun food and excellent cocktails and beer! This is a great spot to grab a drink with friends for happy hour or even a late night. One of my favorite drinks here is the Spaghet which I have recreated many many times after having it here first. I most recently came here with a friend and we got drinks and dinner before a show at the Lyric. It's easy to order everything at the bar and the food came out quickly. Really really loved the fried deviled eggs and fried pickles!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food, great beer and super nice staff. Nice decor and once the street construction is over I'm sure they'll have a cute patio. We're taking some beer home!

Yelp
I dont know why this has been sitting so long. Wet City is lit. My Mom had a salon on catherdral street for decades so i remember when this was a dark and old place that i wouldnt go into. Since wet city has had the space they have definitely opened it up and changed the entire vibe in the best ways possible. And the food is always a hit. The hot chicken, the shrimp and grits, the grilled ceasar salad?! listen they keep a new menu item and im not mad at it. Also the drinks are great as well. Froze? Chyno #1 (off menu but order it, the boy with the blue beard would never lead you astray) Spaghetts!? all available (well the froze is seasonal but everything else is standard fare) a nice "neighborhood bar" that is in a central location. You wont go wrong with this place as your starting point for the night or as your final destination
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
So I searched for a new spot in Baltimore and wet city pops up. Cool name right? So I checked it out on Instagram and it looked absolutely lit! In addition to that there was also this amazing looking dish; gumbo that I had to try. It was advertised for 7$ on Instagram when I saw it. The atmosphere: so it was a Tuesday around 6pm when we came down. And the place was kinda dead. Very quiet. I loved that. I just had a 10 hour day of work so quiet is good. This is a place in which you have to get up and go to the bar to order your food, no waiters. There is a clip board you grab when you first come in, on it is the menu. So I spoke to the bartender (the guy) who did not look too happy. And didn't greet me or anything just said, "what are you having"... I'm like (in my mind) wow! So I just chalked it up to him no having a good day. Definitely a weird vibe in the place. The food: I had the gumbo and it's looks way better than it tasted. The sausage were bland and had no crunch. I felt like they were Frank's. The rest of it was ok like on a scale from 1-10 I give the gumbo a 4. And it was 16$ not 7$ as I saw it on Instagram. The presentation was lovely though. Best part was the fries. They were awesome tasty and plentiful. My guest had shrimp and grits and I was told they were excellent which was shocking to hear from Someone soooo picky. Drinks: The drink menu is soooo extensive it's so many different drinks with a lot of cool names. My guest had some sour peach drink it was really light and tasty it didn't reek of beer like I expected. My first drink was the rose cider and it had a very pleasant taste but tasted like had like no alcohol in it. Next I had a blood orange ginger whiskey sour. I must say the whisky sour was pretty good. I think these guys really know how to make a drink. I can't say that I would come back but I'm betting there were a lot more tasty drinks there. They always seem to have different events there so come try it out you might like it .

Yelp
After given multiple choices to grab a drink at, I ultimately decided on Wet City. I had this location bookmarked ever since it opened and i'm disappointed I never went earlier. It is such a cute place. I didn't expect the interior to look the way it did. There were a couple of tables available when we arrived but they were filled fast indicating a local favorite. There were no servers so drinks and food were ordered at the bar. The menu surprised me the most. I wanted to try several of their beers. Most of their brewed beers offered unique sweet and fruity notes. Beers from outside their brewery were offered as well. I ended trying the good good, a stout with wasn't comparable to others but still good and tangerine soursop feels, which I loved! A tropical taste just like how it is described that goes down as easily as juice. I want to come back to try their cocktails and food which I hear is a must try especially the hot chicken sandwich. Sweet spot to pre game before hoping around to other bars in the unexpected area of Baltimore.

Yelp
Spectacular food, beers, and cocktails!! You can always depend on Wet City for a great meal, wonderful service, and top notch music selections.

Yelp
I've visited Wet City for happy hour two or three times after work since moving to Baltimore a few months ago (it's just a quick walk away from work luckily), and I've really enjoyed the experience each time. They definitely lean towards sour beers, but their sours are creative and fun in a way that surprised me. One of their sours made me giggle (I think it gave me flashbacks to candy in childhood or something). I've also had bar snacks two of the times I've stopped by for happy hour, and I've enjoyed the food as well (kimchi tots and Nashville hot oysters?! craveable bar snacks for sure). The service has always been good, too. The inside is really cool (I've sat at a table and at the bar), but they have a little outside seating as well that is nice! I really like this little sour brewery. It's fun. It's a great happy hour spot. I'll definitely be by regularly.

Yelp
I've only been to Wet City twice which is absurd considering how much I've seen their beers and burgers on IG when *exclusively when im hungry*. None the less both times the food was amazing, I think most people love the drinks here but the food is equally amazing. The servings are HUGE, I ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were similar to the ones at Food Market. I recently had the kimchi tots and they were PHENOMENAL, and a huge serving for a starter. I split it with my friend and we both agreed that it was the tastiest kimchi ever, I'm in the works of convincing them to jar it up and sell it. Overall a great chill spot to grab stellar food and drinks. Pics to come ;)

Yelp
Great food and drink selection. Vegetarian friendly! Clean and welcoming environment with friendly and attentive staff.

Yelp
Im not sure how all this time has gone by and I havent reviewed this place. i try and review the places I really enjoy after a couple of visits so that I can be sure i love it as much as I thought and after more than a few visits here I can tell you its great! its a tap room so they have a good amount of brews on tap and some that they brew themselves so thats always good. I love a local brewery since the craft beer scene has kinda blown up. The staff here are amazingly nice and are willing to chat it up about the menu and other things so dont be shy when you go in to see them. Food wise I dont know where to start!! The Nashville Hot Chicken is amazing so dont skimp on trying it when you stop in. The no temp burger is one of my go to's when i visit because I love a good burger. And even though i have a weird relationship with shrimp the shrimp and grits are AMAZING. To be honest there isnt anything ive had that I dont love and wouldn't recommend to others. So come on in, get adventurous and order whatever your hear desires because anyway you go, you wont be disappointed!

Yelp
I kept seeing a couple food bloggers I follow talk about Wet City and I finally decided to say 'why not'. I came in right when they opened at 5 and it was just myself and another party. I ordered a drink called grandma shark (apparently they have cocktails named after the entire shark family, including baby shark lol) and it was surprisingly good (I'm always skeptical about cocktails in certain restaurants because they usually tend to be full of sugary drinks and a dash of alcohol). Since I was in a trying mood I ordered their Hot Cheetos deviled eggs. You read that right. Deviled eggs breaded with Flamin Hot Cheetos with a Cheeto on top. It was friggin delicious (and genius). The eggs tasted as though they were pickled before getting breaded and that added an extra kick. For my main entree I ordered the hot chicken, which I was skeptical of because it was a chicken breast and again not everyone knows how to properly cook a good chicken breast. To my surprise the chicken was cooked perfectly, crunchy, and moist. Aside from the unique, but delicious, food the service was also impeccable. I think I'll be back for sure. By the time I left the place was crowded which tells me it must be a pretty popular place after all

Yelp
SO good. Went on bar hop around the area and glad we made it here. We got a few 8 Oz pours and really enjoyed the beers - especially the sour gummy worm and chai one. Even better than the beer, which was hard to top was the FISH SANDWICH. Bartender recommended it (He was awesome. Super nice & give other local recommendations around the area) and it SMACKED. It was just the best fish sandwich I've ever had. Excited to come back & try more!
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Stopped by here for happy hour one time since we live extremely close by. You choose your own table and order everything at the bar. We got a few of their cocktails to start and had the hot cheeto fried deviled eggs, burger, and hot chicken sandwich. Cocktails were nice and strong. The deviled eggs were excellent and the hot cheetos were a fun little touch. The hot chicken sandwich was pretty big and demolished very quickly! For a place that claims to have Baltimore's best burger, it was okay at best. The beef was a little dry so it was crumbly (hence the one star deduction). The final bill was also one of the more expensive happy hours we've been to, so I doubt we'll be back. Glad we were able to try it out though!

Yelp
A cool neighborhood gem Wet City reminds me of a modern Cheers, where regulars and locals come and feel right at home. You get the feel that everybody knows your name. The place is quaint with very low lighting that creates an intimate and inviting atmosphere with a calm and relaxed vibe. The menu is limited in quantity but there is a variety in options. There is something for everyone from vegetarians, to chicken lovers, those that prefer duck and even short rib poutine for something new. I tried the poutine for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The gravy dried the dish out a little but overall it was good. There is a nice variety of beer selections so the beer lover husband of mine was happy. I would go back to try the lemon pepper wings or the popular hot fried chicken dish. Great spot to try if in Baltimore and you are looking for something off the beaten path

Yelp
I can only speak for the takeout drink experience during the pandemic, and it was great! Wet City has a large selection of craft drinks that you can order ahead and pick up at the door. I had a "making out with boysenberry" beer, which is both tart and sweet at the same time. I also tried some of the mama shark mixed drink, and it was delicious!! Very, very sweet and fruity. Prices for the mixed drinks are steep but it's very reasonable for the beers.

Yelp
I've been following Wet City on Instagram now for about 2 years and I'm so glad I finally got a chance to come here! You walk in and the atmosphere is great, you've got the purple and blue lights and good music. We started with an appetizer of their Confit Buffalo Chicken Wings which were, no exaggeration, the BEST WINGS I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE! They were so juicy and fell off the bone. They were absolutely incredible! Then for an entree we split their Thanksgiving sandwich called The Gobbler. That was also very good and I'm glad we got it when we did cause it sold out in about an hour and a half! It had everything that you want during thanksgiving including a cranberry chutney which was amazing! Their beer wasn't the best I've ever had but it was still good and the Pumpkin Coquito Slushie that I had was very good! Overall, I would 100% come back here and I will tell all my friends to come here as well!

Yelp
Honestly, this review is years overdue. Wet City is the best kept secret that isn't so secret anymore! The chef keeps the menu items interesting, changes them as new ideas flow, and uses great, seasonally available ingredients whenever possible. Their recent nationwide publicity on Bon Appetit, Thrillist, Forbes (among others) and TONS of local publicity is so well-deserved, it would be selling them short to just say "great job," they have earned every bit of publicity and deserve even more. Great in-house brews plus other great microbrews, their Spaghett which has transformed a Miller High Life into something amazing... and that food menu... *drool* So many reasons to give Wet City praise! Go and give them a try! You won't regret it.

Yelp
I don't mind waiting nearly an hour for two sandwiches. I get when people are busy especially unexpectedly. I DO mind (when inquiring about a wait) to be met with rudeness and sass. Plan better for a Friday folks and when you are unable to provide a quality experience acknowledge that with professionalism, kindness and some sort of offer to make it right. You lost a regular tonight.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem with a chef curated menu and a rotating list of seasonal beer on tap. I almost don't want to write how Good it is because It already gets so crowded. ALL of the food is amazing. My only complaint is that it's sometimes over seasoned for me (too salty- specifically the chili). The steak is one of the best steaks I've had in my life as are the Brussels sprouts. They also offer happy hour specials during the week where you can get a great deal on the Nashville hot chicken (also amazing). I've never had anything here I didn't fully enjoy. The overall vibe is very relaxed and the service is very good but don't expect to be doted over.

Yelp
I had friends in from out of town for a very special occasion ( 11/11/23) . I had heard awesome things about Wet City and begged my pals to go . Sadly, when we got there it wasn't nearly as exciting and inviting as we had hoped . It was dark, and boring to say the least ... more like "Wet Blanket" as my pals put it . The biggest disappointment wasn't the food, as they actually have some tasty dishes ! IT WAS THE SERVICE FROM THE BARTENDERS!!! They were all quite unfriendly and never said hello or welcome when the 4 of us approached the bar. The one gal with the mask gave me an attitude when I asked her what the frozen beverage was ... and seemed even more annoyed when I asked her to repeat it since I couldn't hear her clearly. ( please note that the frozen drink machine wasn't labeled with the drinks name or else this could have easily been avoided.) Unfortunately, right after this she told me "NO" when asked about an orange crush or something similar. This was extremely frustrating as they had a beautiful full bar behind them. As a fellow bartender, I really hope you all try harder next time to give all guests a better experience and learn from this review .

Yelp
Second visit here and I have no complaints. The service is fast with tavern style ordering. You just grab a menu by the door, have a seat, and walk up to the bar to order when you're ready. The Hot Chicken is flattened chicken breast that's breaded. So, it look larger then it actually is...but tasty.

Yelp
The food wasn't bad at all but the service leaves more to be desired. To order you have to go to the bar, I felt like the bartenders were intentionally avoiding me and once they approached me I got a "what do you want?" Very unprofessional and callous to a customer. I'll never come back here again. This place seems to have an issue with people of color...

Yelp
Howdy yelp, this review will cover my third experience at wet city. I always come to order their hot chichekn during happy hour and it always hits my spot. Today I asked Amanda if they would like to go to wet city or go to a Megan's place to have spaghetti with chicken in vodka sauce. Personally I prefer chicken pasta in a white sauce so I wasn't 100% game (don't tell Megan) As you can see we opted for wet city. I ordered, you guessed it, hot chicken as well as fried deviled eggs and soft pretzel. I also got a drink, it was a blinky slushy and it was really tastee. It tasted like a pina colda. It came with pretty flower (see ketchup smiley face for reference) Afterwards I went to rite aid to buy heavy duty swifter mop replacements and then we went to the pet store to look at collars for my girlfriend. The collar was like $20, so I decided not to. I was skeptical about the fried delivery eggs but they were surpisibgly good. Hot chicken slapped as always love that stuff. I'll be back.

Yelp
Always such a fun vibe when I come here with my friends. The food is fast and delicious and the drinks slap (big fan of just good old ranch water).

Yelp
My husband surprised me at work for an impromptu birthday dinner here. It's about 3 blocks from my office. I drive past it every day and had no idea what it was. What is it? A super cool bar/Gastropub. Incredible beer menu with tons of options on tap including stuff in nitro. Knowledgeable folks behind the bar to give advice. They had several sours which are my new favs and from local/small craft brewers. Hubby is even more of a beer geek and loved the options. Food was amazing. We started with the fried deviled eggs. I need about 3 more servings. Perfectly crispy but smooth inside. We split the short rib poutine and confit ancho pork tacos. Aside from a few fries there was nothing left of either. Perfectly cooked meats. Superb flavors. Didn't have room for dessert but there was a carrot cake option. I had no idea this place was so close or so good. Need to go back soon with friends.
