9 Best Irish Pubs in Savannah, Georgia | Eater Carolinas

"Filling the gap left by the closing of Kevin Barry’s Irish Pub, this new superpub in City Market honors Savannah’s strong ties to Ireland’s Wexford County through immigration. Designed by the Irish Pub Company with much input from Dr. Howard Keeley, director of Georgia Southern University’s Center for Irish Research and Teaching, the pub’s multimillion-dollar buildout sourced not only its namesake inspiration but much of the millwork, furniture, and artifacts that fill its 13,000-plus square feet. Behind the bar is a wide selection of Irish whiskey, while the upstairs level boasts live music, a small library of books by Irish authors, and mirror portraits depicting some of Savannah’s most famous residents of Irish descent, including the Southern gothic writer Flannery O’Connor. The menu further nods to the Emerald Isle with dishes like fish and chips, Atlantic salmon, and its three-day house-brined corned beef and cabbage served with soda bread and butter." - Colleen McNally Arnett

15 Best Warm and Cozy Restaurants in Savannah | Eater Carolinas

"On the Ellis Square side of City Market, this two-story super pub honors Savannah’s historic connection to Ireland’s Wexford County through immigration. Find a nook by a fireplace or the upstairs music room and nosh on a round of whiskey-glazed “shots” — lightly fried bites of chicken or cauliflower tossed in a honey whiskey — or the Emerald Isle cobb salad for lighter fare without sacrificing flavor." - Colleen McNally Arnett

Excellent! I’m a Savannah native but no longer live there. I visit every 6 months or so. I went to the Wexford with family. We had a wonderful experience. I had a Rueben that was delicious. My mom had the pot roast sandwich and my brother had the fish and chips; both were excellent and very large portions. We also had the chicken bites appetizer with honey, which was so yummy. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There was a duo of ladies singing traditional Irish and Scottish songs. They were very good and engaged with the audience. I can’t wait to come back and bring my wife. If you’re a Disney fan and enjoy Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs like I do, you will love the Wexford! I would love to see the Wexford replicate Raglan’s Dalkey Duos.

I visited Wexford Irish Pub in Savannah, Georgia a few days ago for lunch and had a mostly great experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with good vibes all around and a solid beer selection that really fits the Irish pub feel. The soup was excellent, and the fish and chips were very good — crispy, flavorful, and exactly what you’d expect from a quality pub. I also tried a burger, which was good and well-prepared. The only downside was the lamb sliders, which unfortunately came out raw in the middle, and that was disappointing. Aside from that issue, everything else was enjoyable, and the food quality overall was solid. With a great atmosphere, good beer, and mostly strong dishes, Wexford Irish Pub is still a place I’d recommend stopping by. Hopefully the kitchen pays closer attention to doneness next time.

Great place for food and atmosphere in the City Market area of Savannah. It was a busy Saturday night, but they were able to seat us outside after 20 minutes. We preferred outside seating so we were willing to wait, and it was worth it. Our waiter was very friendly and made food suggestions. I had the fish and chips, my wife had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Our meals were served very hot and the food was delicious. For dessert we had the warm apple pie with praline ice cream. A perfect ending to a great meal. We also enjoyed the music of the pub’s guitarist and soaked up the atmosphere of all the activity of the shops and stores around us. It was a perfect night in a wonderful city. This place was highly recommended by a bartender at the Prohibition Museum. He was spot on!

We ate here several times on our trip and loved eating outside listening to live music in the midst of city market. Great place if you have non-seafood lovers in your group. Great value for the experience. We enjoyed everything we had, but note that Fries werent crispy. Generous portions. Celtic knot pretzel was good. We had shepherds pie ( large portion!), burgers and sliders, fish and chips, Irish bread, corned beef( very large portion), and good drinks! I enjoyed the Savannah strawberry smash.

This restaurant is beautiful inside, with Irish music in the background. Madison was our delightful waitstaff who took our lunch order. We liked the specials 10/10/25, so Husband got Three Little Pigs Plate (Three banger sausage rolls, spicy mustard, with house cut fries and a wee salad) and I got the Irish Flag salad (Spinach, pear, orange segments, craisins, goat cheese and toasted pistachio with a Jameson Orange Vinaigrette). We sat in a corner booth with two large windows looking out to old buildings on Bryan Street. When our food came, it was memorable and delicious. If they sold the Jameson dressing, I would have bought several bottles. It was incredible!! (Note to management: Please think of selling it.) We enjoyed lunch so much - service, food and ambiance - that we made reservations for dinner. Our meal at dinner was also outstanding. Pam was as friendly and helpful as Madison. Husband got a naked corned beef sandwich on rye with fries and I got the Strawberries and Brie appetizer. Once again we savored every bite of our meals. The only bad thing? We forgot to use our coupons from the Trolley Co., which would have resulted in a less expensive lunch & dinner. Doh! But we don’t regret eating here. Food, service, and interior design were outstanding!

Google
Located in the city market walking district, we ate outside and enjoyed a great meal and enjoyed live music on a Saturday afternoon. Absolutely delicious pot roast sandwich with cheese and mushrooms subbing bacon brussel sprouts instead of chips. Son had a Ruben and husband had Cod sticks breaded in panko. Good beers on tap and fun people watching in one of our favorite cities ❤️🍺💚

Google
Little wait, group of 4, we sat outside. Early december it was a little chilly but they had some heaters that seemed to do enough to make it tolerable. Shielded from the wind helped. There was a solid music artist playing as well. 2 folks got the fish and chips and loved it. One got the pot roast and liked it, I thought it looked nice. I got the Chicken Pub Pie which was scalding hot but the pastry was incredibly flaky and the filling was delicious I just wish there had been more. The side salad was fine. someone next to us got the steak and it looked nice as well. Service was pretty sorry, one server for the 6 tables outside and we all waited a good amount of time for one refill, for a box, for a check and for a receipt. probably just as much time waiting after we ate as we had the entire time until then. it's worth a stop if you're not in a hurry.

Google
Very vibrant and fun atmosphere! Great weather to eat outside on their covered deck. Plenty of seating available. Great fish in the fish and chips. Would have preferred larger potato wedges for the chips. Super relaxing, watching the tourists on the street and horse drawn carriage rides.

Yelp
Lisa was outstanding and from Ohio as well ..OH..! Band was a really cool vibe. Irish coffee & Guinness is the best way to start the last day of vacation! If you're visiting definitely check this spot out!

Yelp
Great evening at the new Wexford Pub! First time visit. I've been waiting for this. Live Irish music, great atmosphere with lots of different seating options. Friendly staff. Good service. Reasonably priced (a pleasant surprise considering the quality of the food). I had a cpl of Guinness Espresso Martinis and a vegan Reuben that did not disappoint. My partner had house brined corned beef and cabbage with potatoes. Can't wait to return! 12/16/25 update. We stopped by yesterday ( we do more often than this review! lol). Seems I have a pattern! Had the veg Rueben, Guinness Espresso Martini, and a smoked Old Fashion. Great service. Can't remember the lovely blonde bartenders name. Very friendly and professional. My one suggestion would be to put server names on receipts for review purposes. But she gets an A plus!

Yelp
Check your order for takeout before leaving! I spent $35 on a salad and an appetizer. The goat cheese appetizer had old, rubbery carrots and brown celery along with rock hard, over done pita chips. The farm salad was half of what I would get in the restaurant with little of the salad extras. I had to replace everything for the dip with my own items and had to add to the salad to make it as it should have been offered in house. Very disappointing and won't make that mistake again. Bartender was the only good thing on this visit.

Yelp
We always enjoy our time at Wexford's. This time we brought the little one and tried out their kids menu and explored more of what they have. Everything was delicious. The inside is lovely, and there plenty of seating. This place does get busy though! From a locals perspective, this is one of my favorite places in Savannah.

Yelp
Fine pint of Guinness. Good prices. Convenient location. Carded my 67 year old father. Edit: the carding comment was a bad attempt at humor on my part. I enjoyed my time here and recommend it to anyone in the area.

Yelp
This place felt historic and was hustling and bustling when we went on New Year's Eve. We felt a little cozy in there, but we were happy to get out of the cold and eat comfort foods. The food was delicious and we had great service. Hubby ordered the Pot Roast Sandwich and wasn't disappointed. My friend ordered the dinner platter of Pot Roast and loved it. I wasn't disappointed with my Chicken Pot Pie with a wee salad! Ha! We would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick early lunch. Service was great and the nachos were tasty. Restaurant is right on the City Market walk. Great location for a meal and some shopping.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great food and a staff that doesn't stop moving. We ordered the Pot Roast Dip Sandwich and the Reuben with kraut on the side. The depth and richness of flavor on both of these was outstanding. We honestly were so blown away by how good these were. We can't wait to return and try more.

Yelp
Recommend this place! Sat outside for lunch but the inside is beautiful--went to the restroom before leaving and the inside was beautiful. Had the city market smash which was delicious. Hubby enjoyed his drink too. I had the lemon pepper wings which were surprisingly very good. Hubby had the Rachel with fries, both yummy too. We did run into service issues, but the manager was excellent with addressing the issue. There is live music, but we were there too early. My first time in Savannah and I definitely want to explore other restaurants but I would definitely return.

Yelp
We stopped in the other day for a late lunch and were very happy! We sat at the bar and Courtney, the bartender, took great care of us. I ordered the fish and chips (it was Haddok) and so yummy; not greasy and well cooked. I dont know how describe the chips other than they were so delicious I couldn't stop eating them. My husband had the Ruben sandwich and declared it delicious! If you are in the area and you like traditional Irish pubs - including great traditional music; stop in and enjoy!

Yelp
It was ok! We needed to grab lunch while we were waiting for a private tour at the prohibition museum and this was next-door. The potato leek soup was a bit too thick and didn't come out hot so that was a bit disappointing. The soda bread was great though and I enjoyed that. My mom didn't seem more enthusiastic about her sliders than most places so I would say those are average. There was a female bartender that I couldn't figure out whether she was just dry or rude so I gave her the benefit out and assumed it was part of the ambience.

Yelp
Old fashioned Irish pub and eatery. Good outdoor seating if tge weather was a bit better. Better later in the fall Good selection on drink menu. I had my classic black and tan draft but they had more selections of different mixes of drafts. Candyce had her modelo Candyce had the smash burger with cheese and bacon. I had my classic Ruben with fries. Thankfully had the malt vinegar on the table. Great service and wonderful selection for food and drinks.

Yelp
My friends and I absolutely loved it here. You can't ask for a better experience at an Irish pub. The vibes are immaculate. And the service was fantastic (shoutout to our server Parker)! The Espresso Martini with Guinness is genius in my opinion. Never had Guinness in one and it's delicious. For my fellow pretzel lovers, you gotta get the pretzel with beer cheese and mustard. You'll be very happy. The fish and chips with Cole slaw were great. Massive portions and the flavor was on point. Can't wait to return when we are back in town!

Yelp
The wife and I stopped in after our guide highly recommended as Savannah's best Irish Pub. The pub's interior immediately impresses, as the very bar itself was assembled using genuine furnishings sourced directly from Ireland, offering a rich and traditional atmosphere. The Reuben sandwich was outstanding--perfectly balanced with high-quality ingredients. The huge soft pretzels are equally delicious and made for a perfect accompaniment to a pint. For the full Irish experience, a "half and half"--a expertly poured blend of Guinness stout and crisp Harp Lager--is essential and highly recommended. It perfectly complements the meal and the cozy ambiance. The Wexford Irish Pub is a must-visit for anyone seeking a true taste of Ireland, from its unique furnishings to its exceptional food and drink.

Yelp
Cute corner spot- the vibe is screaming Irish which I loved. We sat outside and loved being able to people watch the walkable street. We got the crab cake, it was good! The sauce was a huge highlight! The lavender martini was really yummy too, not too sweet. Service was very quick and attentive.

Yelp
Well this place is a treasure, so the reviews are right. I can't add more than what has already been said. If you go to Savannah do not leave without getting the cabbage that melts in your mouth. The corn beef is flavorful and mouthy, nice cut. The fish and chips were what fish and chips should be, crunchy fried tasty fish with good fries. We ate outside, which was nice because you can people watch. But next time I'll try inside, the decor is old school rich pub former. Great atmosphere in and out and it's in the City Market. Tip: eat here before the Ghost Carriage Horse drawn tour, it's literally picks you up feet away.

Yelp
Love this place! The service is great, the drinks are legit and the food is amazing. Been here 3 times and had zero issues each visit. I really like the atmosphere and the comfortable places to sit. The fries/chips might just be the best I've had in Savannah. I also love that you can choose what type of bread you want for the sandwiches, really makes a difference for a picky eater like myself. Everything I've had so far has been great and I'm looking forward to trying even more stuff on the menu.

Yelp
Two floors, great service, fun atmosphere. As part of a large group of people when there we only had appetizers. Everything was better than expected. For a place in the heart of the pedestrian tourist trap area of Savannah, this is a solid bet when deciding where to go.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for an afternoon bite. Greeted & seated right away. Order sliders and fish bites. Both were tasty. Service was good and quick. Now they we not that busy. Place was nice looking with plenty of seating.
google avatar

Kristy M.

Yelp
This traditional Irish pub in the heart of Savannah's historic market district is the perfect stopping point on a hot, busy day. There's an air conditioned inside to escape the heat- but we found the covered outdoor dining area to be perfect for people watching. We kept it simple for lunch, and shared a table full of apps. A delicious, flaky crabcake, an incredible whipped goat cheese dip served with pita chips and veggies, fish batons which were basically fish sticks, and pub chips- fries with beer cheese, bacon and green onions. Priced decently and perfectly located right next door to the Prohibition Museum, this is the perfect lunch spot!
google avatar

Yelp
A huge, sprawling Irish pub with multiple bars, dark interior, lots of Irish colors. Great vibe for sure. Took a while for me to be greeted, but after that, server kept close tabs, and another server even helped her to make sure my water stayed filled on this very hot day. I got the lunch special, pigs in blanket, salad, and fries. I wish this place served traditional pub fries or "chips," but these were okay. I also got the pretzel, which is HUGE, and could feed three or four people. I dipped both dishes in the spicy mustard (which is not that spicy) and the cheese dip. Both dishes were salty and hit the spot on a sweltering day. Typical Irish fare: fish and chips, burgers, lab sliders, pot roast, various types of Reubens, shepherd's pie, chicken pub pie, various soups and salads. Their city smash, made with strawberries and basil was delicious and I got a round two in a to go cup. Located at city market, it would be super easy to stop by here for a great meal then peruse the shops and art galleries or stop by the Prohibition Museum.

Yelp
This was a first time visit to the Wexford. We were seated rather quickly on a Saturday evening as reservations were made online. We were seated on the second level of the restaurant, right next to the musicians stage. The live entertainment began just 15 minutes after our arrival, and we found it to be a delightful addition to our dining experience. Our appetizer of Whiskey Glazed Chicken shots arrived within about 10 minutes. They were tasty and heightened our expectations for the main courses. The main courses we ordered were outstanding. The Guinness Pot Roast, served with vegetables, was rich in flavor and required no additional seasoning. It also came with a delicious serving of soda bread. The Wexford Farmhouse Salad was impressively generous in portion size and tasted fantastic. We opted to add salmon, and it was cooked to perfection. Though it felt like we spent more time there, our entire dining experience lasted about one hour, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I am definitely looking forward to returning for another visit!

Yelp
Visiting the area for the area for the first time and if you're in the area - you know there are a ton of options. Today we decided on a Irish Pub. A really nice-looking place. Inside and out. Although we didn't partake looked like a full stocked bar. We decided on water and sweet tea. As for our meal: Wifey had her favorite, Shepherds Pie. Trust me she's an expert - LOL. She tells me, it was good. But nothing special. It was FULL of meat but lacked a bunch of flavor that she expected. The size was very fully but again (get this) maybe too full with meat. Me, I had the fish and chips. Fish was nicely battered and the fries were very good. The fish portion was decent, but I could of used a little bit more fries with the meal. Lastly, our server did a very good job. He was attentive and checked on us several times during our stay. So I would eat here again, but I do think the wifey might went with something else. So enjoy you meal.

Yelp
Was hoping for something a bit more authentic in an Irish Pub. Understand this is Savannah GA...but when you make "Irish Pub" part of your name you are setting an expectation. Food was good. Drinks were good. Service was very good. Was a busy Saturday...but they seemed organized and efficient.

Yelp
This was our 2nd time to Wexford and what a marvelous place to eat! We went with good friends for a birthday lunch & we're not dissapointed. For appetizers we had the Guiness Pretzel and Poutine Fries, actually a Canadian dish. The beef gravy & cheese curds on the Poutine fries were incredible. Two of us had fish & chips and I had the pot roast with potatoes and root vegies. Everthing was served on unique & colorful plates. Much of the interior was imported from Ireland. Having been to Ireland, I can tell you, it was truly like stepping into a Dublin pub. We will most certainly go back!

Melinda B.

Yelp
It was warmer, so we sat outside. I had the whiskey cauliflower small plate and the goat cheese small plate. Plenty to eat!! As I took left overs home. Both were delish. Hubby got the chicken pot pie. I think he left hungry. Food was freshly made. Service was good. I recommend this one. I will probably go back to try other things on the menu. Prices were reasonable for what you got. No complaints at all.

Yelp
Decent restaurant. Service was interesting but intermittent. We were seated for over ten minutes without menus. A waitress came delivered menus and took drink orders. Another table got seated and the same waitress was there immediately delivering menus and glasses of water. We ordered an app. We were going to have dinner there but decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere.

Yelp
More than a 5 star casual dining restaurant! Great food & portions, wonderful/friendly service, enjoyable live courtyard music, perfect weather for outside dining!! Pam made us and our Golden feel very welcome and comfortable and ensure us that there was no rush to leave. We were seated in front of the courtyard to hear Ray Tomasino, the evening's live music entertainment. His music choices were right up our (and the other customers') alley. Pam participated in our banter to help us decide if we were sharing an appetizer (we had planned to do the goat cheese which she said was a great choice) and an entree. Unfortunately, we couldn't completely agree on the entree selection With Pam's participation, my husband chose the popular Chicken Pub Pie & I went with the best Fish & Chips. What huge potions and presentations that matched the awesome flavors. I wish we had taken pictures before we devoured our meals. I had the refreshing City Market Smash cocktail before & with dinner. After dinner, I had the Wexford's Iced Irish Coffee after asking Pam if I should get the Irish Coffee or Chocolate Martini. She didn't hesitate, the Irish Coffee. Pam kept the dog bowl full of water for our very thirsty Golden and brought out an excellent grilled chicken for him. Wexford may be relatively new, but they know what they are going. The interior has been carefully planned as if you were in Ireland. What a really nice evening we had.

Mary D.

Yelp
Nice environment with authentic furnishings from Ireland. Corned beef and cabbage was salty and soggy. Pot roast was excellent!
google avatar

Morg W.

Yelp
The restaurant itself is really cool -- music and decor make you feel as if you've jumped into the movie P.S I love you (all that to say -- it's very much so giving Irish!) Our waitress was very kind and upbeat. She had great recommendations (which is always something I look for!) The food overall was delightful. All of the food was PIPING hot. Salmon was season well. Fish was crispy. Chicken was crispy and the sauce was pleasant. It's definitely the type of place you return to.
google avatar

Donald C.

Yelp
Nice ambience. Definitely a Irish pub vibe. Old fashioned was good. They have nice mock tails also. Chicken tenders and chicken shots were a big hit. Fries are homemade. Fish bites were full of fish. The only negative I found was with the burger. It was overly seasoned. I mean to the point of being g too salty and everything. It may be my sensitive taste buds but I couldn't eat it at all. Everything else was just fine e though. Waitstaff was nice and prompt. I will return.
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
Nice Irish pub to go to if you're in the area! The space was pretty decent, we were able to fit a stroller inside. They did have happy hour but it was only on certain beers and apparently it was something that was new. They did have their house chip on happy hour. We also had a whiskey glazed shots chicken tender but you can still the whiskey in it so don't get it if you don't like the taste of whiskey. They did have inside and outdoor seating and they had live music during a certain time
google avatar

Jack L.

Yelp
Menu was out of date and service was basically nonexistent. Also pricey for the amount of food served and quality. Just a tourist trap at this point.
google avatar

Ivana S.

Yelp
Ate upstairs which is very open and airy compared to the bottom floor. Ordered crab cake and it was fantastic comes with those little drop peppers that are so yummy! My husband got a sandwich that had onion rings on it. That's the item everyone should get in the menu. Soup was ok but a little salty and the chili was fine The bartender was so kind and friendly our drinks and food came out timely and the prices are average for the location in Savannah!
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
Enjoyed dinner here last night (which was our last night staying in Savannah). Enjoyed Mac & cheese with a small salad. We enjoyed and appreciated the waitstaff checking in on us frequently!
google avatar

Darrin B.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere but crowded and noisy. The food was OK but the salad was really lacking protein. But the others in my party enjoyed the food. The server was great she went beyond to give us good service.

Yelp
I unhesitatingly declare Wexford Irish Pub the best Irish Pub in Savannah and one of the best I've ever been to. The food is Outstanding ! We had the following things recently and loved every one of them. First and foremost, the (real) Shepard's pie (made with lamb) is wonderful. The flavor is great, it comes out in a cast iron skillet and makes for a nice sized portion. The Irish Mac n cheese was really good too. It took me a minute to adjust and appreciate the real Irish cheddar in the recipe but I came to love it. You can add, bacon, chicken, shrimp or corned beef (my choice) to add some additional protein. While I didn't try the "Fishwich" fish sandwich, I was told that it was really tasty. Also, the French fries were awesome. They offer a nice selection of Whiskeys, Scotches and other offerings. The wine list is decent. Not Great but not bad either. I'm torn on the beer selection. It too is good but not Great. We were at another local (British Pub) that had a fantastic selection of craft, domestic and European beers. This would be my only suggestion for Wexford. Add about 5 - 10 more craft beers (draft, bottle, can) to the menu. Our sever Greg was awesome. He went out of his way to make it a great experience. I wish I knew the name of the bartender but he was really nice also. There is NO doubt that I'll be going back on my next trip to Savannah.
google avatar

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
The server Alicia is amazing! She's bright and bubbly and great with conversation and recommendation. The bar is loud but it's an Irish Pub and certainly delivers with drunk middle aged men...that said it was a nice spot that was well appointed with decor. The food was hot and good and portions were huge.
google avatar

Tom C.

Yelp
We wanted to try this place since it opened, but something always came up and we just got the chance today. That is our misfortune. The food was fantastic. The fish and chips and the shepherds pie were some of the best we've had, even after many trips to Boston. We were there at lunch time so the upstairs was closed but we did go up to have a look around. It's a great area, big stage for bands, a huge bar and plenty of seating. We will be back and often.

Yelp
Love that this place was pup friendly, covered outdoor patio & they even had little dishes for water bowls. Our server was super friendly, we came on a weekday around lunchtime & sat right away! I got the crab cake and my husband got the burger and then we ordered some truffle fries to share. The burger was definitely the best tasting then the crab cake then the fries. But honestly these fries were very underwhelming... disappointing that we spent like ~$12+ for those truffle fries when they were pretty,.. mid :(

Yelp
We had a great time and the food was delicious. Our server was kind enough to bring the service dog with us a bowl of water. The vibe with the live music was great. Would totally go back

Yelp
Was quickly sat at a table. Server was extremely pleasant and gave me the right amount of time to decide on a drink. The bar made a fantastic Jameson Sour. Ordered the Guinness Pot roast with soda bread. Food came out quickly, was hot, beef was fork tender and vegetables were nicely cooked. Great atmosphere, friendly staff...

A taste of Dublin in the heart of historic Savannah. Stopped in after a carriage ride and thoroughly enjoyed the Wexford! Highly recommend, service and drinks were spot on thanks to Ethan our bartender. So good I'd like to hire him! Worth visiting just for the decor, all original interior imported from Ireland.

Yelp
We had just got in Savannah about mid afternoon and was checking things out. We saw Wexford & decided to check it out. Once they said they had Smithwicks on tap I was in. We arrived in between rushes (lunch and dinner). A little unorganized but understandable. We chose one area and said we couldn't sit there because it was reserved for a party, try using a sign reserved that would help. Then they attempted to put us in some corner that was hidden from the whole pub. Everyone was very nice and suggested we could ask us if the outdoor area we be alright and it was a perfect suggestion. We actually went for drinks but ordered apps. Nachos, Chicken bites, and sliders. I went for Smithwicks right away. The others ordered Bloody Mary's. Beer was ice cold and the others had said that was one of the best Bloody Mary they had in a long long time. The only problem with the Bloody Mary was the fatty and limp bacon. We were told it was Irish style bacon and that's the way cook bacon. My suggestion is to try Candied Bacon. A little more cost however it would've sent the Bloody Mary over the top and people will order more than one. When we come back to Savannah which we definitely will try Wexford's again. Nice place good food and cold Smithwicks. I hope they take me up on the candied bacon suggestion. Our service was very good fast and attentive. Good job everyone.

Yelp
Was walking around the area trying to find a place to eat and saw this place. Looked at the menu and said, let's try it. Good choice on our part! We sat outside which was so cute and aesthetically pleasing. They had live music and it was a nice ambiance. We ordered waters and when the waitress brang them over, she accidentally spilled it all over the table and some got on my friend but honestly, no big deal. It happens and it was JUST WATER! I'm adding this cause people need to stop getting mad at stupid stuff like that. We're all human and accidents happen. She was very apologetic and ran for towels to clean it then got him a fresh glass. Totally forgot what he ordered but I got the Shepard's pie. Was gonna get a chicken sandwich cause I didn't wanna spend too much and then my friend "yelled" at me that he's paying and demanded I get the Shepard's pie cause he knew that's what I really wanted. Lmao! HOLY HELL FREAKIN DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! Haven't had Shepard's pie in years and this was mouthwateringly good. I was in heaven. I don't usually eat salad but decided to give it a try since it came with it and even that was delicious!! This place is a little too expensive for me but if I know I'll be in Savannah then I think I'll put some money aside to go back. Two thumbs up from me!!

Yelp
October 2025: I had the fish and chips. The fish was good but the chips were soggy and with no salt. After tasting, I added salt but still couldn't eat them. Service was excellent. Beer was cold. Great atmosphere.
