My boyfriend and I came in at 4:03am after work, just trying to get some food and unwind. We ordered a burger combo, a breakfast combo, and a breakfast taquito — nothing crazy. We sat inside and waited… and waited… and waited. There was no one else in the building but us, yet 30 minutes went by and we still had no food.
Eventually, one of the workers noticed and asked, “You still don’t have your food?” She went to check and found out that they gave our entire order to a random guy. No name check, no ticket number — just handed it over. My boyfriend asked how that even happens, and no one could give us an answer. We didn’t get our food til 4:47am and there was not one person in the building but us, and there was no tickets on the drive-thru screens. Please look at the photo for reference.
This isn’t the first bad experience we’ve had here, especially involving the same big Hispanic lady with glasses who works the drive-thru. There’s clearly no structure when it comes to handling inside orders — they always prioritize the drive-thru and completely ignore dine-in customers.
We were tired, hungry, and just wanted a simple meal, and instead we left frustrated and beyond disappointed. This is my official call to never go to whataburger again.
