"During a Sept. 23 campaign stop in Southeast Austin, the Second Gentleman lunched at a Texas-born fast-food burger chain location on East Oltorf with former Representative Beto O’Rourke. He ordered the number two combo (a double-meat burger with fries and a drink) without pickles and added onion rings, looked forward to the chain’s spicy ketchup, and mixed his fountain drink two-thirds Diet Coke and one-third regular Coke; he skipped Dr Pepper while O’Rourke pointed out the shake. The pair posed for photos with staffers and diners, and O’Rourke — a noted fan of the chain — typically orders cheeseburgers without tomatoes.
