Heads Up Hermitage — Whataburger Is Finally Back in Tennessee - Eater Nashville

"The Nashville area gets its first Whataburger of many to come this week, when the new Hermitage restaurant opens on Wednesday, January 5 at 11 a.m. The cult-favorite Texas-based brand’s well-known menu ranges from breakfast all day to traditional burger joint options — with customizable burgers, honey barbecue chicken strip sandwiches, and honey butter chicken biscuits, plus plenty of fries with spicy and fancy ketchup for dipping." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Looks Like Whataburger Is Finally Headed Back to Tennessee (Hermitage, Specifically) - Eater Nashville

"Whataburger is set to return to Tennessee, opening a new location at 5055 Old Hickory Boulevard in Hermitage. The Texas-based burger chain, known for its burgers, fries, and breakfast taquitos, had previously exited the state in 2017. The new venue is a former Applebee’s site and is part of the brand's expansion plans, which include franchising stores again." - Delia Jo Ramsey

I haven’t been to this location in a few months but I never had a bad experience here or at any Whataburger. It’s my favorite drive through burger joint. That is until today 7:00pm 8/19/25. The workers were friendly enough and the service was quick, but maybe a little too quick. They were out of Coke Zero😒 annoying but I can switch to Dr.Pepper. Fries were lukewarm and very stale😠 Really annoying and I thought about taking them back, but I was hungry and didn’t want to engage so I just said forget it I’ll just eat the burger. This is where I had to draw the line and leave a much earned one ⭐️ review. I got about halfway through my burger before I realized the meat was RAW!🤢🤢🤢 Not medium well, cold and mushy in the middle RAW! (See attached photo) Serving RAW meat to customers through a Whataburger drive through?! I choose places like Whataburger because, in my experience, they hold themselves to a higher standard than most of their competitors, or at least they use to. Absolutely disgusting behavior! The owner of this business should be ashamed that his store operates in this manner. I’m not sure what the next step to reporting this to the proper agency is, but I’m definitely going to find out. I will not be going back to Whataburger anytime soon that’s for sure 🤮

I have to say I felt like Remy from Rataouille when I ate my chicken sandwich. I still think about how delicious it was every day. Best fast food I’ve ever had!! I waited 15 mins for my food. That chicken sandwich was amazing. I would wait all day for it. I wish I had a Whataburger near me 😭 my son also enjoyed his burger and said it was the best fast food he’s ever had. The only complaint was I ordered it with no onions and it came with onions.

Alyssa and Jessica Perry were amazing and my TWO experiences at Whataburger #1208 today (because I was so excited to be by a Whataburger for the first time in 16 years, of course I had it for breakfast AND lunch! really flipped a roadtrip-for-work-gone-EXTREMELY-wrong into a positive experience to remember! Alyssa’s service was top tier. I asked her if the store sold any shirts, and she asked her manager if there was anything they could give me! Totally unexpected and soooo appreciated! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Thanks for everything! You ladies really turned my day around, you have no idea. ❤️ Please bless Columbus, Ohio with Whataburger next!!

Google
This Whataburger went above and beyond my expectations!! The food was fresh and delicious, but the service was truly outstanding. The staff greeted us, checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed, and even surprised us with free shirts and bags just out of kindness because it was our first visit. They also took the time to engage in genuine conversation, which made the experience feel welcoming and personal. Exceptional service like this is rare, and it made this visit one of the best fast-food experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! We truly appreciate Matt and Jamie for their exceptional service.

Google
Hot, fresh food, prepared to order. I am not a huge fan of Kiosk ordering, but a fairly complicated order was prepared exactly as ordered and delivered to my table within 8 minutes. * That is a relatively long time for "fast food" but for hot, fresh food, I find it totally acceptable. The restaurant was spotless, and the few employees that I had minimal contact with were pleasant. The burger was a behemoth, piping hot and delicious. $21 IS a lot for a fast food burger, but as you can see from the photo, it was as ordered and really a decent value. I'm not a fast food fan as a rule, but after this initial visit, I'm sure that I will return at some point.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Whataburger – Old Hickory Blvd Location Stopped in for a quick bite and was seriously impressed! The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and everything came out hot and fresh. The burger was juicy and full of flavor — definitely lived up to the hype. I also really appreciated how clean the restaurant was and how attentive the team was at keeping things running smoothly. Whether you're grabbing a late-night bite or a quick lunch, this location delivers every time. Highly recommend!

Google
We frequent this location. The staff is very nice. The location is always clean. I loved in Texas and was so excited when they came to Tennessee and it was just like I remember when I was a kid. Large burgers, awesome fries, thick shake.....I love the pucante sauce, my boyfriend loves the spicy ketchup. Just ask them for it. You do have to wait a few minutes for your meal as it is made hot and fresh always so have some patients..... it's worth the wait.

We are visiting Nashville, and had an awesome breakfast at this Whataburger. Everything was cooked great, bread was fresh, jalapeños and onions were grilled just right. The staff were nice and friendly! My wife and I loved the experience!

Yelp
Restaurant 1208 needs help. We visited this location on May 27, placed our order at 8:52 PM, and received it at 9:14 PM. The food was lukewarm. All soda options weren't carbonated, meaning they were flat, and folks dumped whatever they had chosen, hence the mound of ice. We settled for Lemonade. Usually, Whataburger will provide you with a number, and when your order is ready, they'll bring it to you. Once they hand you the order, they'll ask if you want some condiments: ketchup, spicy ketchup, etc. The server did ask us, but he has yet to return to our table. I went to the counter and retrieved them--no big deal. Finally, the employees were arguing amongst themselves. Sad.

Yelp
We just got into Nashville from Los Angeles, the first thing we did was go to #whatsburger to get a Dr. Pepper Milkshake. One of my favorite meals is the Cobb salad with honey mustard sauce. I didn't know the salad it came with bacon. So, if you don't eat pork or cheese tell them up front. Our young adult son and daughter loved the Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich. The double cheeseburger was also a hit with them. We did not care for the fries. The #whatacatch Fish Sandwich was a little bland. I used the spicy ketchup on the Fish and it was delicious.

Yelp
One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had Gallatin TN). Been waiting in the drive through for almost 45 minutes with only 6 cars in front of me. After sitting for that long to get up to the window, then they asked what we ordered. Completely clueless. So then they asked me to pull up (so they could start fixing the food). stay away from here!
google avatar

Yelp
Just not very good. If you want a bland burger that makes you a little sick, this is the place.

Yelp
Whataburger. What a disappointment. We heard about this much anticipated icon of burgerdom, but this location didn't measure up to those reviews we've heard from those in Texas. Yes, this location is shiny and new. The burger, fry, and shake combo was okay. As was the chicken. The spicy ketchup a nice touch. Just not the spiritual out of body experience I've heard about from the elders. I've had one or two burgers from Whataburger in the homeland (Texas), and never understood what was so special. Maybe nostalgia. Maybe they are better at 2 am after a few drinks. All and all it was a decent experience. Drive through was efficient. The wrong order quickly corrected. The meal itself filling. The typical 'not bad, not great.' Everyone has their favorite burger joint. Whataburger is that place for many. Just not us. But it does rank in the upper half.

Yelp
It's sad that this place just opened. There's hardly anybody at the register. You got a wait for somebody to come out. Which I get I guess but people just walk by you without saying hi you have to grab somebody's attention. I had four people behind in the kitchen look at me and not say anything. I sat there for 10 minutes. There's one other person in the whole restaurant eating and there's probably two cars in the drive-through so it was a slow time maybe in between shifts I don't know but doesn't mean you don't say hi work will be right with you. I had to grab somebody who came walking in with a delivery to help me. As I'm sitting there, waiting the "one car" in the drive-through, came back with her order and they were missing 3 burgers. Aaaaugh check your order on the drive through!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I gotta say, a lot of the low rated reviews and I mean A LOT of them are from when they first opened and when the drive thru lines were bananas. It's much more settled down now. The lines are much shorter, faster, and a pro tip there is zero wait time in the morning! We ordered a bunch food from the lot breakfast menu and I gotta say I it was actually very good for fast food place. The taquitos are more like rolled breakfast tacos and a big portion! We got two taquitos with cheese and one with bacon. The bacon loaded taquitos are they was to go. The house fave was the chicken honey biscuit! Crispy chicken with was tasted like a grandma homemade biscuit. This is a must order! Look I know this is a chain, but it's tough to base your entire perception of a restaurant, especially a fast food restaurant, during their first two months of being open post pandemic. I highly suggest those people come back and give this location another try. Remember, no wait time in the morning!

Yelp
Every time I have been in they seem to be over staffed yet food is wrong and takes forever, and staff seems busier cutting up with each other over actually working. Even when you put your own order in at the kiosk, you get to wait 15 mins and watch other ppl have to go up and ask the staff where their food is. This after seeing the car line not move for over five minutes. There is nothing fast about this place.

Clay B.

Yelp
The inside is cleaner than the outside. Service horrible. Food will see. Haven't got it yet. Every table wasn't cleaned and food on the floor. Lastly

Yelp
What? Oh. A burger. And thats exactly how I feel. Just nothing special about this classic melt or the soggy fries. I tasted 2 things: grease and onions. Wait time: could be better. I ordered at 7:11pm (not the gas station) and food came out 7:30pm. I also ordered honey BBQ AND spicy ketchup. I only received the BBQ. There was also I slight confusion because my receipt was #16 and this rude couple infront of me was also #16...soooo ya. Specials: get the spicy ketchup while its hot (every pun intended) its only around for a limited time. All in all...inall... Its a one in done for me.

Yelp
So all of my employees from Texas rant and rave about Whataburger. So I did some research and found out that I didn't need to fly to TX to try it. We were in Louisville celebrating my mom's bday, so I figured since it was only a couple of hours away we could hit up Hermitage, TN (just outside of Nashville) and get some Whataburger. My eyes lit up when I saw that white and orange sign. It was only right that I had on my orange and white Tim Couch jersey. When we got in we were able to order fairly quickly. The manager let everyone know they were severely understaffed so it would be about a 20-minute wait for orders. That was completely fine with me, I grabbed my number and my drink and waited patiently. The food came out in about 10 minutes. I ordered the Southern Bacon Burger meal and a patty melt because I heard they are the BOMB! The Southern Bacon Burger wasn't bad. It was massive and well seasoned. The fries were just meh, nothing special. The patty melt was also just okay, nothing really jumped out at me. I split the patty melt with my mom and she really enjoyed it. Now I can say that I have pretty much conquered every well-known burger chain! Customer Service 1-5=4. Southern Bacon Burger 1-5=3.5. Patty Melt 1-5=2.5. Fries 1-5=2.

Yelp
Ok this could be the biggest disappointment so far for 2023. I don't remember Whataburger being this bad in Texas, wait that's a nice word, AWFUL is the right word. I really felt I was eating cardboard with paint. Did they give me the fake food from the comercial? Because the look was amazing that's about it. I wasn't expecting a super hot meal as it was delivered to me but I wasn't expecting 3 days old cold food either. I don't live that far from the place and it wasn't brought to me by a delivery person that I could say they took the wrong turn and got lost some how and took longer. I'm so disappointed that I would not want to try eating there to see if it's some how better. Nope, I won't even. If you come here, come at your own risk.
google avatar

Joe E.

Yelp
Can't complain about the service because there is none. Pre-ordered on the app twice and spent an hour in the drive thru line each time for mediocre food. Why did people get so excited about this restaurant coming here? Is it possible to give a negative number rating?

Yelp
I decided to give Whataburger another try. I waited in line to place my order behind several other customers, but the line moved fast. The woman taking orders was very friendly, and I placed my order for a combo with no mustard, add cheese, and onion rings. When my order was brought out, I opened my burger to find it overloaded with mustard and jalapeños. This was not at all what I had ordered! Although the tag on the burger was right, the contents were completely wrong. I found a worker who said she would get me the correct burger. I ate most of my onion rings while I waited for a new burger. When she returned, my burger was right, but it was barely warm. Although I hoped I would have a better experience this time around, this trip did not turn me into a Whataburger fan.

Yelp
As we started passing this location en route elsewhere, we noticed the drive-through lines were almost nonexistent. Since I don't think I've ever eaten a Whataburger before, we decided to seize the opportunity and check it out. Much like Chick-fil-A at their high volume locations, this place has two lines running with staff members in the lot taking your order long before reaching a menu board or a window. The drawback is not knowing what you want because you've not seen the menu before. Yes, I typically investigate menus online prior to trying new places, but since this was an impromptu visit, I was completely in the dark. The woman taking our order did have a small menu on her person to show us, but turns out it is very limited. Fortunately for me, I wanted to try the basics anyway so I was not perplexed by this. The lines seemed to be advancing at a pretty good rate until we finally reached the actual menu board. From that point, it became a very long wait which was surprising. There were a few times where we considered to just drive away since it was taking so long -- I witnessed at least one vehicle doing this very thing, so I know it wasn't just us that felt it excessive. Finally an employee came to get our payment and apologized for how long it was taking. We then got the card back and a receipt, then -- after what seemed like forever -- the food and drink were finally delivered along with another apology. Sad thing? The food was really cold. Not even lukewarm -- solidly cold. How terrible to wait 30+ minutes for stone-cold food. Between that and the inappropriateness of some of the staff, I am not at all in a hurry to return. There's no point in my telling you what I thought about the taste of the food because...it was cold. Ok, fine. It was alright, I guess. I can see why people might really like it...especially when it's at least a little warm. It vaguely reminds me of one of my favorite burger places in Seattle. The one positive I can offer about this place is that the Coca-Cola is mixed just right. I consume soda very rarely these days and often find it not as great as I remembered it being...but that drink was delicious. Other items of note: The spicy ketchup is NOT spicy-hot (and I am a bit of a spicy-hot wimp), and I kinda like it. I want to try this place again -- prolly in, like, a year or so when it's not so popular anymore -- to see what the food tastes like when it's warm.

Yelp
Does place definitely live up to who it's height. From the moment I saw the location, the line was at least half a mile long. Even after several weeks of being open this place is packed! The trick is to just park in the Lowe's parking lot next-door, and then walk over and order inside. We waited probably 10 minutes outside before we were able to order food. Their burgers are definitely a step above the normal fast food chains. Unfortunately, they charge you for all sauces besides their different ketchups. They do have some spicy ketchups which are really good. The burger itself was pretty large and yummy. Fries were also pretty good and reminded me of McDonald's fries. While I did enjoy this place, I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here. I would just come if I'm in the area already.

Yelp
First time visiting this location since it opened. The space is clean and presentable. Food came out in a fair amount of time. Lots of people were inside. I like their dips and food options. I would love if Whataburger became more eco friendly. HOURS: Open 24 hours, 7 days a week PARKING: Parking lot available

Yelp
I missed my opportunity to try Whataburger a few years ago and told myself that next time I see one I'd give it a try so when this Yelp Elite event popped up I knew I had to jump on it. When I pulled up the line was pretty long which was surprising since it's been opened for a week now. I thought, "oh man this must be good" Two meat Whataburger meal: Yuppp this was worth the drive from Nashville. Chick fil A down the street has a rival cuz this burger was meaty! Not as salty as Shake shack so that was appreciated. Anyways, let's get back to this double meat patty with cheese and onions. The size of this burger was just unbelievable. I mean hellooooo Mickey D's has got nothing on this thing. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since the company's from Texas. Onion rings: Per Kourtney's recommendation I went for the onion rings and it was a worthy choice. I needed a replacement for Zaxby's pulled from the menu onion rings and let's be honest those Burger King rings aren't cutting it. As YouTuber/food eater Mikey Chen would say "until we eat again!" And I shall be back! Shoutout to Kourtney for the help!
google avatar

Morgan S.

Yelp
I have been here twice and it was a bad experience both times. I was really excited to have a Whataburger in Tennessee but this one is very disappointing. The first time they messed up my order (and way over salted the fries) and this time they somehow didn't receive my order when I ordered through the app so I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for my food. What's the point of ordering ahead if you still have to wait a long time? I called twice while waiting and both times they said they'd bring it right out and didn't. The lady I spoke with on the phone was rude as well.

Alexis C.

Yelp
had two lanes open husband and I went to one where we were the only vehicle trying to order food. complete silence didn't hear from any staff for 15 minutes. we got out of that lane to go to the other lane and all was well. as we ordered in this lane another vehicle went to the previous lane we were in and started ordering right off the bat..wtf had us sitting there for 15 minutes and had to turn around to go to the other lane. also sat in like for over 25 minutes and there were only 4 vehicles..
google avatar

Miranda M.

Yelp
The only reason I'm giving them three stars is because we waited 30 minutes for our food inside the restaurant. It's definitely not 'fast food' at that rate. The food was very good though and the service was great! The restaurant was also clean and seemed relatively new.
google avatar

Sid A.

Yelp
This is one of the worst run QSRs I have seen in a while. Please tell me what is wrong here. We have stood here waiting for over 20 minutes now. The dining room is not busy and there were less than 5 cars in the drive through lanes. This place has really gone downhill compared to when it first opened. Previously, one could understand given the volume of business, but to be horrible when you are slow is inexcusable. Also, there are employees just staring at each other and clocking in and out without acknowledging any guests. This franchisee store needs a hard reset, because to gradually destroy the Whataburger reputation like this is actually depressing.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Takes too long. Ordered on kiosk to save time. Took a very long time. Not sure what's going on here

Joy F.

Yelp
I waited 20 minutes for chili cheese fries and I got some BS in a foam tray. Fast food restaurants are the worst place to stop and eat while traveling on highway. I didn't want to give a star but unfortunately you have to. Sadly!
google avatar

Yelp
Whataburger is a fun place to eat! The burgers are big, juicy and delicious! Throw in some yummy hot crispy fries and you have a great meal. The staff is so friendly it's always nice to eat at Whataburger!!
google avatar

Adam P.

Yelp
This place is an absolute confusing mess after hours. I am a nightshift worker so this place is the only place to get a meal after hours, especially since the pandemic. Staff is rude. Service is slow. Food is okay.
google avatar

Rich A.

Yelp
Burger was great! Service was friendly and fast. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely be stopping in.
google avatar

Estefany N.

Yelp
I have to say that being a Texan, having a Whataburger in Nashville is wonderful! Special shout out to their overnight manager Trina, she was moving constantly and cleaning, delivering food to tables, checking on people's food and had such warmth the entire time she did it. True southern hospitality, she's a gem!!!
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
This Wataburger is WTF-burger. They can't get the orders correct. I eat here every morning because I can't get lunch items anywhere else in the morning on my way to work. This week 3 of the 5 orders were wrong. One of them the manager brought me my order and it was wrong. Placing the order through at the drive though seemed to be a challenge for them, so I started to use the app so they would have the order in writing and that didn't help either. It's like they have the attitude of, "as long as there is something in the back it's good enough" Every week 1 or 2 orders are wrong. This week was the worst.
google avatar

Steven C.

Yelp
This was horrible. The drive Thru design is illogical and food (burger) was not even hot. Mind you it was busy and lunch time. The spicy ketchup was the only Redeeming quality

James R.

Yelp
What a horrible experience. I pulled up to order at the drive thru where I continued to wait for someone to acknowledge me which didn't happen. I say "Hello" and wait ... no acknowledgment. I finally say "hello" again and the woman says "I heard you" then something to the affect of "wait and I'll be back to take your order". Huh ? She comes back on the intercom and continues to be "short" with me in her attitude as I try to order. I get up to the window and the cashier never bothers to look at me just holds her hand out (barely) as she says the total and I have to reach out with my torso out the window to get my card into her hand. She just couldn't be bothered or was unwilling to make the effort. The the waiting happens for my one hamburger... This is at 10:51 p.m and there's no one else that I can see that's even in the restaurant let alone waiting for food. It took and abnormal amount of time to get one hamburger done meanwhile there's a guy in the kitchen looking at me like he's sizing me up. When the burger is FINALLY ready he slowly walks toward the window and when he open the window he doesn't say a word and just glares at me as he hands the bag to me. Unbelievable! It's like I've disturbed these people because they now have to go to work and make food for a customer. Well don't worry, I won't be coming back and neither will my friends or anyone else for that matter that I relay this experience to.
google avatar

Beth F.

Yelp
It took 40 minutes in the drive thru for a mediocre burger, heavy on the mustard (their main flavoring I suppose). Never again.
google avatar

Jerry C.

Yelp
Saw no line at 3pm so I jumped in. First time trying-And I loved it!Couldn't Order Online but I assume that's coming soon. 7 minutes in line 15 minutes for the food to be brought to my table. Everything seemed fresh. They bring Ketchup and such to you! I got the double Burger which is A lot. Juicy but Not greasy! Nice flavor. Fries were good and Loved the onion rings. Would I make a special trip for Whataburger? Yup! Would be great after a Preds game!

Yelp
Growing up in Tx I've eaten at Whataburger all my life. I live on the east coast now and was passing through and looked forward to eating here. By far the worst experience I've ever had at a Whataburger. Walking in, the tile floor of the entire restaurant is covered in a film of grease and is like walking on ice. It's seriously bad enough there should be caution signs up. The employees were courteous and took my order quickly with no issues. Drink area was pretty trashed. So bad I actually cleaned it up and even looked under the cabinets to put out more large lids since I took the last one. Sipping my coke it had that dirt taste that comes from the fountain not being cleaned properly, so I dumped it out and got sweet tea that was decent. Looking for a booth I had my choice of crumb covered seat, crumb covered table, or both crumb covered seat and table. I grabbed napkins and wiped off a table and sat down. Only to discover the seats were oddly rubbery like they had been cleaned with the wrong products and they were left with a sticky gummy residue that you couldn't slide on, again it's really bad. My food came out longer than I have ever waited in a Whataburger. I wasn't watching the exact time but it was long enough I was about to walk back up and check on it. I ordered the breakfast burger and a double cheeseburger. The breakfast burger was actually missing the beef patty entirely, and the cheeseburger had all the toppings placed in a ball right in the middle. I'm only writing this in hopes the owner sees this and takes action, because this is an incredibly poor representation of my beloved Whataburger. Again all the employees were courteous and all looked gainfully employed, but this location definitely has some major issues going on. Maybe stronger leadership is needed, not sure, but it's hurting for sure.
google avatar

Gene Z.

Yelp
Just waited 30 minutes for my food. Not sure if they are understaffed or just poorly managed. Food was good, but not worth that kind of wait. Won't ever be back.

Judy C.

Yelp
Waited for a half hour after I ordered to get my food. Food was cold. They claimed they were short staffed. Unacceptable
google avatar

Jacobia D.

Yelp
What' a burger or more like what a long wait for an okay burger. Waited in the line at the drive thru although you can dine inside. I may have enjoyed it more if the worker taking orders in my line didn't just ghost us for 15 minutes. A nice lady showed up and took our orders. They had two lines and both moved smoothly once staffed. I thought it was a good price for a fast food burger meal. It was tasty and flavorful. The fries were a little cold. It's not the best burger I have eaten nor worst. It's a decent burger but definitely not a worth a long wait. I will try again one day.

Kate H.

Yelp
I give one star and that goes to the gentleman that took our order . He was really the only thing worth giving a rating for . If you like paying for overpriced, cold , meh food , here's your place ! We waited 25 minutes at a table for our food to come "to go" when it was fire dine in . It was cold and tasteless. My son got the whatawings , yeah , they had to have been from lunch and redropped because they were not even chewable ! Won't be back and don't see it staying open very long . Stay away from the Murfreesboro TN restaurant !

Yelp
A disappointing experience. I've been to a good number of Whataburger locations in Texas. Every Texas location was cleaner and had better tasting food. I don't know if this is the "standard" for Whataburger locations in Tennessee, but I will not return.

Yelp
Prior to Covid, I used to travel to Texas often. This hit the spot and was exactly how I remembered. The burger was amazing and fries were fresh. I opted to walk in and order. I didn't wait in line more than a couple minutes, everyone was very friendly, and received my food in less than five minutes. If you're one of those giving this a low rating because you spent so much time waiting in the drive-thru, don't punish this location for your poor choices.

Yelp
Waited over 45 minutes for our food. When I asked why it was taking so long, was told they were dealing with a rush, however the restaurant was not busy nor was the drive thru. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Nothing about this place is "fast food".

Yelp
Good and service were great! Great BLT! Thanks Sheila! However, it took way, way too long to get food in the drive-thru. Car in front of me drove off from the speaker.

Yelp
Great burgers and milkshakes. It was my first time trying whataburger. Usual fast food place, busy during dinner so we went inside to order and eat.

Yelp
Back in the 70's, I worked at Whataburger on Nolensville Road. It was very good then. Only served burgers, fries and colas and shakes. It was simple and good. The owners were from Texas. It was there for several years before selling and tore it down. I've been to some in Texas since and the menu is so big, it's like they have no much, can't concentrate on the 'start', the Burger. The wait is just too much a for burger that's not that good anymore.

Yelp
Glad Whataburger finally opened up here because this place fits into Nashville perfectly. You'll feel spring in the air when you walk and witness this fast food tornado destroying every customer within its walls. French fries littered everywhere, customers left and right walking up to the cashier to complain about an incorrect order, people having no clue where the line starts due to the chaos blanketing the store and standing 16 feet away from the actual line. I saw a dude with an eye patch on licking straight counter top and that was the most sane thing to happen while I was there. Absolute mayhem. Witnessed someone complaining that they waited 40 minutes for 2 burgers with fries. Absurd. My order came with two fries. To no one's surprise I only got one and unfortunately made the decision to go back in and request the 2nd fry. Let me tell ya, this was a bad bad mistake. I now know the first lesson I'll teach my children. Cut your losses! Waited in the "complaint line" that developed for 20 minutes before reaching the front. Then waited another 20 to get the second bag of fries. By the time I got home every spec of grease was cold. I never got to truly taste whataburger food when it's "fresh". No shot I'm risking going back there again to try. If you're an adrenaline junkie this is the place to be. Just make sure to stay low and stay away from windows if you want to survive. Good luck out there everyone.

Yelp
I was the only person in the drive thru at about 11:15 am today. It took 10 minutes for my order to be taken. I ordered their #1 meal. Then they asked if I wanted cheese. Of course I want cheese. Oh, that costs extra. It was about $9.25. I then waited 15 more minutes at the second window to get the food. The fries are grainy. Just all in all not worth the time.

Yelp
Waited over an hour for my food and the order wasn't right. What a joke. The order was a patty melt combo with a coke and an additional fry. No additional fry and they gave me a diet coke... Again, waited over an hour.

Yelp
Not really sure how to even start this review. Nothing was good about the visit here. First off, I got in line (took an hour from ordering to receiving food) was greeted by the most unpleasant and rude employee. She didn't even look at me and acted like I was inconveniencing her day by coming. After ordering the lanes broke off into two (one by pick up window and one next to that). I was asked several times what my name was and what I ordered, again very unpleasant employees. I was even handed the wrong order TWICE. When I finally received my order ( kids meal chix tenders ) It was cold as if it were in a refrigerator. All I can say is DO BETTER and hire BETTER people who can actually smile. This location is not a good impression on Whataburger.

Yelp
As a native Texan, Whataburger is one of my favorite places to eat. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this location way out in TN certainly exceeded my expectations! Tastes just as good as back home. Staff was friendly and the tables were cleaned regularly.
