Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings - Seattle - The Infatuation

"White Center has a new sports bar right along 16th Ave, and the name might sound familiar—they’ve been operating as a Mexican food truck for years. The menu includes dishes from their mobile operation, like massive nachos and burritos. Plus, there are plenty of TVs, a full bar, and a regular DJ." - kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo

The staff is wonderful. Everyone who works here does an amazing job. They are so kind and attentive. The ownership seems lacking. They seem to make the women dress in a way to attract male customers. I worry that there is no one to protect them. I came to watch the Mainers playoffs with 6 other women. We had a great time and our service was really great. We get together weekly and we’d like to come here but we’d also like to see the women who work here treated better. They are so good at their jobs. They are super kind and on top of things. What we hate is watching men stare at their asses while they are doing their jobs. We have a large community here that like this this place. We’d like to support this bar if you can treat your workers better 😊

I never ate here and I never will. I pulled into the parking lot next to crawfish house (which I guess was the wrong parking lot). I was going to get something to eat from Crawfish House and this little Mexican got out his conversion van and told me I couldn't park there because it was for Whateke parking only. The parking lot was empty with exception of 1 pickup truck that was parked there. When I said " my bad, I was going to the crawfish house, I didn't know", he shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't care". Extremely rude.

Best margaritas I've had in a long time! We had the nachos, Whateke burrito, and quesadilla, all way above what I would expect for a sports bar. I'd honestly come again just for the margaritas and delicious food, let alone the sports. A crazy amount of TVs, great place to watch a game.

Whateke Sports Bar will be popping up in the spot last inhabited by Que Chevere Restaurant and Bar. Whateke specializes in tacos and burritos and you’ve probably seen their truck around town at fairs/festivals. Could be a great spot for 2026 World Cup viewing!

Awesome sports bar that will pretty much put whatever you want to watch on any of the many tvs!!! Margaritas are delicious, the Diablo shrimp tacos are a must have and if you are lucky to have Joana as your bartender you will not be disappointed!!!

Stopped in here for a drink. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is fun. White Center has been missing an all around sports bar, so it’s nice to have one so close. I look forward to coming back and trying the food!

Google
Stoked to see another bar pop up in white center….even more stoked it’s a sports bar. TVs line all walls in the place…going to be ideal for football Sunday or any sports season in general. Oh and food and drinks were great. Thanks!

Yelp
Freshly remodeled sports bar in heart of white center. Good food. Homemade chips and delicious hot salsas. Tons of TV's for all sports games. Friendly staff lots to look at. Lol.

Yelp
Sports bar... what they don't tell you is that it's a tit bar. felt awkward the whole time, and the food was mid.
