"Breweries are great places to escape TVs, and Whiner in Back of the Yards, inside the Plant, provides exactly that." - Ashok Selvam
"Whiner is inside a massive Back Of The Yards warehouse-research facility called The Plant. And while we’re not exactly sure what type of research goes on here, we support it because Whiner’s beers are fantastic. They focus on barrel-aged brews with a variety of funky beers ranging from mango coconut stout to lime and cucumber ale. And make sure to check out their resident pop-up Heffer BBQ, which happens to have one of our favorite burgers. Their industrial taproom makes you ask “Is that really a crack in the ceiling or is that an artistic choice?” But there’s plenty of room here, so it’s perfect for post-work hangs or a birthday." - josh barnett, adrian kane, john ringor
"Whiner Beer broke into the mainstream with Le Tub, which it proclaimed the first beer designed for drinking while in a bathtub. What happens in the privacy of a drinker’s own home isn’t up for discussion, but in public, Whiner is known for its barrel-age brews, and it’s not just about the stouts. Find fruit beers, sours, and more." - Ashok Selvam
"Heffer BBQ touching hearts and tummies at Whiner Beer Company in the Plant." - Ashok Selvam
"Whiner is inside The Plant, a huge Back Of The Yards warehouse-research facility. And we support whatever they're researching because the beer here is great. Whiner focuses on barrel-aged brews with lots of funky beers. And if you don't care about beer, their resident pop-up (which happens to have one of our ) makes this brewery worth visiting. Though the industrial taproom makes you wonder if the cracks in the walls should be checked out or are an aesthetic choice, but there’s plenty of room here, so it’s perfect for post-work hangs or a birthday." - John Ringor
