Perfect. We were pleasantly surprised by our wild choices, everything is delicious. I loved the details that goes into the meal, our sweet potato fries were 3 different colors for example. It was just really good. The beers were great, and the waiters really nice. Highly recommend!

My mom came from out of town and wanted a good burger. I have heard many great things about Whiskey Bar kitchens burgers and thought this would be the most ideal place. I asked the server to surprise me with one of the most ordered Burger. She brought out the buffalo blue Burger. We also ordered onion rings, next order of fries, chicken nuggets and the teriyaki burger, which we all shared among the three of us. The buffalo blue Burger was spicy but not too spicy for it not to be enjoyable. It seemed like the chicken nuggets were freed hard or maybe that's the way they're supposed to be? The teriyaki burger came with a thick slice of pineapple and was a complimentary part of the burger to bring that sweet to go along with the savory. Tater tots were ordered as a side for the teriyaki burger. I ordered a pear cider which was refreshingly delicious and another party at the table ordered a sangria and a coffee. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and kind. Seating was easy. It was during lunch time so we entered put our name on the list and they called and text us when our table was ready, we were sat within 10 minutes. Something notable about the booths is you have to be able to step up to get into them because they are high top boots. The bar and the restrooms are located at the back of the establishment. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. There is also seating outside that is covered located on Broad Street.

Went here for lunch today for the first time. It was a great experience. The staff were very friendly, the food came out very fast, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this location! It met all my expectations.

Google
First of all, thank you Whiskey Bar employees for saving me and my husband's date night!! We loved every minute of this experience!! Awesome atmosphere, awesome drinks, awesome staff and awesome food!! JUSTIN (our server) was a 20/10, he needs a raise! Talk about a kind spirit, smiled and engaged with us. Checked on us frequently and was just simply a delight. India (the bartender) and possibly more... not sure... made the absolute best long Island iced tea we've had here. The food was fresh and hot and not one mistake was made upon delivery. We had everything we asked for and they were perfectly timed. Appetizers were there in 20 min and then the main meal in 15-17 min. The food was delicious, chicken wings, Buffalo chicken dip, the sink burger waffle fries etc... my husband actually said it was the best meal he's had while eating out at a restaurant in about 10 years. No joke!! We will def be back and we once again thank you all for such a wonderful experience.

Google
Whiskey Bar Kitchen is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Augusta. Their burgers are next-level amazing, and the fun, lively atmosphere makes every visit a blast! Every time I’m in town, it’s an absolute must-stop, never disappoints.

Google
The best burger in Augusta period! I normally won’t order a burger at a restaurant because I am always disappointed. They cooked my burger medium rare for me as I requested which was perfectly done.. The menu choices are all unique. Highly recommend going here if you want the best burger around.

Yelp
Whiskey Bar is one of my favorite restaurants in Augusta, especially for a picky eater and a burger lover! I have been multiple times before but this is my first review! The restaurant is unique on the inside and gives a somewhat hole-in-the-wall bar vibe (but cleaner). During the day time, I would say it is family friendly, but at night it can definitely get rowdier so go at your own risk, it is called Whiskey Bar after all. The burgers are very good and are cooked very well with lots of options for customization. I always go for the classic WB(K) burger with Swiss cheese and pickles. The waffle fries are always so crisp and yummy. The same goes for the potstickers as an appetizer. Even their other burger combos that seem strange are actually pretty good if you are into that type of burger. The service is always pretty good. Friendly staff that was quick. Not a long wait on a Tuesday night, but have definitely waited before on a Friday or Saturday. They have a first come, first serve bar as well. The tables can be somewhat cramped depending on where you are sat and it is definitely not an accessible place as the entrance is crammed and all the tables are high tops on the inside, the outside is better with low top tables and benches. The Diet Coke was okay. A little syrupy so their ratio on the fountain soda machine must be a little off. Still good, but I have had better. Overall, one of the best burger restaurants in Augusta and most stop place in the area!

Yelp
Wound up in the area on a very busy weekend, so went to Yelp for advice. Unfortunately, my experience was VERY different. After waiting at the table for 15 minutes, we got waited on by a very nice man...who never returned. Soft drinks arrived 5 mins later and we ordered our burgers with someone else. Being gluten free, I went with the Metro Burger ("Classic garlic sautéed mushroom swiss burger . . . solid and old school, just like the joint next door"), no bun as they don't have a gf one, with sweet potato fries. Pretty simple order. 15 minutes later it hits the table and has a funky gravy sauce, which may have been delightful, but wasn't on the menu, so I inquired as to whether it was gf or not. Server leaves, another 10 mins goes by, and she returns to say that they are not sure. Fair, can you just make me a burger with only mushrooms and swiss cheese? No problem. By the time it returned, my partner in crime was done with lunch and the burger has another slime on it and the mushrooms have crunchy sprinkles added post cooking. Again, she can't tell me what it is, so I managed to eat 1/2 a plate of sweet potato fries and then left without a simple burger. Cute place, but I'm not into arguing with servers to receive eye rolls over the basics. Add in drinks not being refilled and employees standing at the front, maybe it was just an off day, but I will not return. Oh, my lunch companion was not impressed with his burger either...and that is not a brioche bun.

Yelp
Great fusion flavors and fun vibes Whiskey Bar Kitchen is such a cool spot--love the fusion of American classics with Japanese twists. The menu is creative and flavorful, with something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for a juicy burger, sushi, or something in between. Service is consistently friendly and laid-back, which adds to the welcoming vibe. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between casual and lively--great for meeting up with friends, grabbing a drink, or just hanging out for a while. It's one of those places that never gets old. Solid food, great cocktails, and a fun energy that keeps you coming back.

Yelp
I came here after work with some coworkers, and I've been told they get busy fast, but when we went we were able to be sat immediately. They have a good seasonal menu, and from that I ordered the blackberry lemonade (has bourbon in it). We also ordered the chili pimento cheese burger, pork belly slaw wrap, and Katsu curry rice. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and came out at a perfect time. Prices weren't bad too, and they're known for their whiskey, so definitely go try that too.

Yelp
This bar is located in downtown and has a cool vibe with exposed brick and wooden booths. Fully stocked barn area, too. Service was friendly & helpful. I had their regular burger and onion rings. Burger was solid but could have used a bit more seasoning. Onion rings were tasty, and tasted beer batterered and were crispy. I would return.

Yelp
Whisky bar has a variety of tastie inventions to offer you. The staff is very friendly and patient and are very helpful when it comes to helping you with a delicious choice of hamburger. The ambiance feels like a sports pub.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday evening and the place was packed! It's located in the downtown area and parking was a hassle (tip: find a parking garage fee blocks away). I came alone and seated myself at the bar. It took 20 minutes before someone asked to take my order. And it took another 40 minutes for the food to come out. They were quick to ring me out tho. I ordered a burger with sweet potato fries and they were both good. I think it's a good local restaurant-bar, good for the vibes. Just wish the service was better.
google avatar

Yelp
Been coming here for years but first time dropping a review. It's a tavern/bar and relaxed atmosphere. They have really good burgers here, I usually get the Devils Peak...its spicy so dont try unless you can eat Thai-level spicy. Or get the salsa on the side. I like the sweet potato fries as my side to balance out the spiciness. Pear ale that's on tap is excellent and great for summer...very light and refreshing! Also tried wings...you get 10 and 2 flavors. We got the lemon pepper and maple chili. Lemon pepper was a dry seasoning and I thought the flavors were good...I was surprised by the maple chili...while it doesnt have any spuxiness to it despite the name, I enjoyed a almost candy crunch on the first bute. Service was quick and they brought everything in a timely manner.

Yelp
Customer Service: 5 Quality of food: 5 Quality of drinks: 5 Quantity of food: 5 Parking: 5 Atmosphere: 5 We decided to grab dinner at this franchise restaurant in Augusta, GA last night, and we had a great experience. We were able to easily find street parking nearby. Upon entering the staff was very friendly and quickly got us seated. We ordered some drinks and we could quickly tell their drinks were not watered down. Than we ordered an Elway burger and some of their chicken wings. Everything tasted amazing and were very plentiful. Our waitress wasn't very attentive herself, but the rest of the staff was very friendly and professional. I shall return for more yummy wings and drinks! Thank you to your staff.

Yelp
From the moment I crossed the threshold, I was immediately greeted by the host with a smile and seated in a booth. The lights were firmly dim but up enough where one could see. The game's were on the TV screens and everyone was having a ball. The food was off the hook! I started out with a Lavender Lemonade to drink and buffalo tots. It was so good that I had to get the actual buffalo chicken dip and it was delicious!! Then for my meal, I did the WB burger and added a fried egg and avocado. All and all my experience was excellent and I will definitely return again!

Yelp
We were in Augusta for the Shawn Mullins Concert. This place is about 1/2 mile from the Imperial Theater. Our waiter was very attentive and helped us through the menu. We both had the Tokyo Beef Bowl and it was excellent! We will definitely be back when in town.

Yelp
Great place.....great staff.....great food. Menu is just a little to the left, which keeps if far from ordinary but yet filled with favorites. Busy place. Not a fan of high top tables but doesnt hurt the review.....great job

Yelp
The metro burger was a three, slightly overcooked, and it wasn't that hot, so it told me it was cooked and then almost reheated. Cheese was also not melted as another sign for the reheating theory. Onion rings were adequate but a little greasy. I ordered a Cali burger and liked the cucumber, avocado and jalapeño on it, but similar situation with the burger temp and ordered it with an egg and the white were still runny, which who likes that. The waffle fries were fine but not as good as Chick-fil-A's. The old fashions were a strong pour and I liked the big ice cube without air, the Manhattan was ok, and the whiskey sour was not thar tasty in my opinion nor frothed.

Derek B.

Yelp
I went in for dinner on busy Tuesday night. I was seated immediately. I had great service. I order the Elway burger. It was a great burger. It was messy and tasty. The serve provided a few extra napkins before the food was served. She knew what I was getting into. It was a typical busy bar style restaurant. It was noisy but it was a busy bar. Good place and good food.
google avatar

Birdie P.

Yelp
Love the ambiance of this place. The drinks at every good and strong. It has a pretty big menu, and I think they could do away with some of the items. The curry is very good, and the maple waffle fries were an interesting but great flavor pairing. The service was amazing as well.
google avatar

Moshi M.

Yelp
Ambience. A Service. A Food/Drinks. A Price. A Had drink overs at Metro bar while waiting for table 45 mins at whiskey bar. Hlad to know I could take over cocktails when table was ready. Very loud in here. Hosts and Servers were friendly and helpful. Love their HOt waffle buffalo sauce fries with blue cheese. And the potstickers were nicely filled with pork and delish sauce I ordered the Pig platter with miso sauce. Comes with 2 patties and salad over rice. Get a side of curry sauce for to get a hint of what the sauce tastes like. I'm a fan of both! It gets quite busy , so be patient. I ended up helping server arranging tabs. Overall, I'm still a FaN!

Yelp
I categorize restaurants in "fast", "medium", and "fancy." Fast is for your quick spots. In, out, and consistent. Fancy is when you have to think twice about your outfit. Wine comes by the bottle, cocktails are smoking (literally), food is divine. But most days I find myself at medium. Medium is where you are going to sit, relax, and enjoy a good meal. WBK is such a place. Usually I gravitate to outdoor seating, to feel the full ambiance of the city. You come downtown for a reason right? I want to hear the passing conversations, cars in traffic, see the occasional furry friend taking an evening stroll. And of course I come here for the food. Want one of the best burgers in the area? Here. Chicken and teriyaki? Here. Pork belly sandwich? Yep, still here. And don't even get me started on the buffalo chicken dip and sweet potato fries. Now let's talk about their drinks. When it comes to canned and bottled, they have the usual. Domestics, IPA's, etc. But when it comes to the whiskey, well there's a reason they were named one of the top 50 whiskey bars in the U.S. by Yelp. Even if you do sit outside, venture in to view the wall of whiskey. They truly have it all. And I will mention that their Moscow Mule and Old Fashioned are not for the weak of heart. The team here is always friendly and quick. Also, they use Waitlist on Yelp so go ahead and reserve a table! It can fill up fast.
google avatar

John K.

Yelp
A big selection in their wall of whiskeys, as you would imagine with this name, but good food as well. A somewhat limited menu but a really good burger with bacon on this 1st visit, waffle fries & an Old Fashioned came recommended & was good. It's casual dining in an open atmosphere including tables & bar seating. Service was just fine as well.
google avatar

Kimmoi C.

Yelp
Definitely dropped in with my family to grab lunch. Loved that we were seated right away during a lunch rush. Waitress was super accommodating and gave really good recommendations for what to get. Drinks were also very good.
google avatar

Kim A.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting. It was an "ok" experience. I wasn't impressed as I thought I'd be. I must say, we didn't have to wait the entire 15 minutes we were quoted to be seen. That was a plus. It was quite louder than expected in the restaurant. The noise didn't run us away. I ordered lemon pepper wings double fried and regular waffle fries. Unfortunately, my wings were not double fried and they were a little stingy on the lemon pepper. My waffle fries were overcooked but I ate them. I saved my wings to take home and gave them away. I may visit again but order something different and hopefully the experience will be better.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
They have a varied menu, staff was friendly and food came out I had the works hamburger it was messy but very good the meat was seasoned to perfection the brioche bun was lightly toasted my only complaint was the loaded tater tots they were just plain tots with topping spread on top they were ok but expensive for what they were
google avatar

Rob A.

Yelp
Lots of potential, but they have a lot of work to get it right. We went on a busy Monday night. But Monday- not a weekend. It took 45 minutes to get drinks, one was eventually comp'd because they took so long. Then got food 5 minutes later. It was badly over cooked and relatively bland. Didn't get the right sauces. And couldn't say anything about it because the waiter only came by right after dropping off food and when we called for the check. Maybe it would be better another time, but it wasn't good tonight.

Robbie O.

Yelp
A $14 Cheeseburger is on the high side for a cheeseburger, at least for me. I was looking at the menus on this site and they started out at $9.70 under $10 that's a fair price. Now at $14 that's too much for me. I'll stick with Chili's. Free refills.
google avatar

Thalia M.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite place for a burger in Augusta. They're juicy, and my order is always correct. The staff is friendly, and if it's busy, you can head next door to their other business, Metro Pub & Coffeehouse, for a beer or coffee that can get charged to your Whiskey Bar Kitchen tab.

Susan S.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch today. Had the best BLT sandwich I have ever had. My husband had a fantastic reuben sandwich. Waitress was great.
google avatar

Andy V.

Yelp
Had the cali burger with waffle fries. Got some side sauces of preference. Food and service were good, with waitress recommendations. It's a chill spot with good food for some time out in downtown. Their menu isn't too big but a previous look can help you find a standout item of your interest.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
Easiest my favorite burger joint in town. Always consistently great. Drink menu (especially whiskey) is extensive. Haven't had anything there that I didn't love!

Yelp
I regularly travel all over the country, and end up trying a wide variety of bars/restaurants. As somewhat of a Scotch aficionado, Whiskey Bar (Kitchen) is definitely deserving of a mention. They have a solid collection, plenty of bourbon, but especially good if you are looking to for Rye, Irish Whisky, Japanese, or Single Malt Scotch. But more importantly, they are one of the more generously priced locations I have encountered. Most bars charge 20-25% of the bottle per pour. This is constant across most of the US, and from cheap to expensive whisky. Whiskey Bar (Restaurant) seems to average 10-15%, which is unprecedented, allowing connoisseurs to experience a significantly wider variety for the same price point. The atmosphere is good, the service is great. If you are passing through Augusta, I highly recommend stopping in.

Yelp
AUGUSTA, GA: you know Brie, always finding the best places to take her parents to drink...and she found another one! Whiskey Bar (kitchen) is one of the Top 50 whiskey bars in America according to Yelp! We had a great time at their dog friendly outdoor seating which faces the bustling Broad Street! Global food, OVER 200 whiskeys, a healthy beer-list, and a full bar, makes it THE PLACE to hang out. The best staff gave Brie so much love too!
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
I went with a group of coworkers for dinner. This had been on my list for a bit so I was glad to get the chance to check it out. We split edamame, buffalo chicken dip, and the death valley salsa. Our favorite was the buffalo chicken dip. The death valley salsa was good but I didn't think it was that spicy (maybe I missed something?). The edamame was okay but I prefer Sole's spicy garlic edamame. I had the sweet potato fries with coconut cream sauce and the pork belly wrap for dinner. Even though the wrap is on the appetizers menu, it is a full sandwich, so come hungry. The fries with coconut cream sauce were decent, but not my favorite. The wrap was really good! Everyone else enjoyed their meals too.

Nicole J.

Yelp
Wings good but my burger was burnt ( I got it well done but it burnt) very disappointed did not send it back cause I had to leave family. Had an appointment. it too 45 min wait. So husband brought food home. Waiter was nice
google avatar

Yelp
Drinks were strong & food was great. Good spot for pre-concert/show vibes. Booths are big but bar area is very tight. We will be back!
google avatar

Lynette J.

Yelp
The food was great. I had a cheeseburger and it was good. It was thick and juicy with the extra cheese melted along side the usual condiments. Service was fast and friendly. Great atmosphere.
google avatar

Leigh Anne Y.

Yelp
The food is amazing!!!! I always get The Sink. It is a bit pricey, but when I want to treat myself to the best cheeseburger around, I will make that drive to Augusta because it is absolutely worth it.
google avatar

Al J.

Yelp
This place is a must stop if you are a whiskey fan like myself. Great atmosphere, very laid back. The staff here are amazing and very friendly. The food was ok. But the whiskey was great. Lots of choices.
google avatar

Adam K.

Yelp
Burgers were very good! Make sure to ask for medium rare if that's what you like. Our server was very kind and really easy to talk to. The place was buzzing and that meant it was hard to hear, but we still had fun. The Breakfast burger was amazing, it has a sort of French toast - Croissant bun and a maple glaze, it was almost like a McGriddle but way better. The garlic aioli was my favorite, although I did also try the maple chili sauce, which was good with the breakfast theme, and the remoulade, also great. We will definitely be coming back here!
google avatar

LaRonda F.

Yelp
This place is awesome and gives a bar feel as well as a great restaurant! The steak is awesome, the salads are awesome ans the burgers are awesome.
google avatar

Natasha R.

Yelp
Really great selection of drinks, and drinks can be customized to taste. I had the katsu curry bowl, which was excellent- the pork to rice ratio was great, the pork was crispy, and the rice was flavored well with grated ginger and onions that really elevated the dish. I didn't expect the Japanese flavors to be great in Augusta, but I was pleasantly surprised. Burgers were also great, and highly recommend the sweet potato fries. I have previously tried the Devils peak and can confirm that it is not for those with low spice tolerance, but it is my personal favorite.

Chill98 B.

Yelp
As always they didn't disappoint. The service was great, food was amazing, and our out-of town guests commented that their burgers were amongst the best they've had. My wings were cooked and seasoned to perfection!
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
This place is quite solid! Their menu is small but has a variety of things to offer. It's always a hit with my friends. Their burgers are insanely tall (see pic for reference) and reasonably priced. (5/5 stars because the bread is also amazing! They had like. Croissant buns or something.) I love the different topping combos they have for them. Their sweet potato fries and coconut sauce is also ~heavenly~ 5/5 stars. The waffle fries were thinner than chickfila version which means they were not as soft- some people prefer one over the other (3.5/5 for me) Tip: you can sub any burger with chicken if you don't eat beef! They also have pork cutlet and pork cutlet sandwich which is really cool but I havent tried those yet.
google avatar

Marty B.

Yelp
Cool place, great service and good food. I loved the Pig Sandwich with sweet potato fries. My companion had the salad and said it was below average. She also had the edamame but it was way to garlicky. ID like to try more items on their menu.
google avatar

French D.

Yelp
Ambience & Service so far is A1. Bartender was a lil slow. 1st time in life I've had a Mule served in a regular glass. Interesting. Sweet Potato fries were lukewarm, not crispy but tasty. Side Ceasar Salad descent. Sissy had the Teriyaki Chicken burger -- no tomoato, onions, greenery... just chicken, cheese, pineapple and some sauce.. Real lackluster. When Sissy start askin the price then you know the math and menu ain't aligning. Lol Again Service... The young ladies at the door PERSONABLE! Our server Tre - perfect. Table -- wobbly. Water -- invest in a filter.

Yelp
Atmosphere was okay with a host waiting out front. Inside it wasn't packed but not empty either. Sat at the bar to eat, gentleman next to me ordered the wings which were all legs no flat pieces. I ordered the California burger and subbed out a chicken breast. Came topped with Avocado, garlic Aioli, bacon and pickled cucumber. Chicken breast was hammered down thin and almost non-existent in the sandwich, it was almost as bad as the service from the bartender who obviously cared more about their phone at the cash register than the bar full of patrons. Would not suggest and won't be back!

Michelle R.

Yelp
Great place to eat. My bff goes there more than I do. I need to take her so we can go together. I love the fries.

Maria H.

Yelp
First time here. Great location and atmosphere. Loved the cocktails and the service was great.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Great food, great atmosphere, great location! I would suggest WBK for anything from watching a game to a special night out. The appetizers are great and the burgers are expertly cooked. Add to that an amazing wall o' whisky. Wow! Try something from Scotland, Kentucky or Japan. You'll find your fave! When in downtown Augusta, swing by the WBK!
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
We frequent WBK often since I work downtown however this last visit was subpar at most. The waitress was not very attentive to our table and the Buffalo chicken dip was very thin and lacking actual chicken. While I have always preferred WBK for their drinks and not their food, this past visit was a little disappointing.

Yelp
While in town for the first day of the Masters practice rounds, we stopped in here while exploring downtown Augusta. It was a Sunday afternoon and we came downtown to take a stroll and see what was going on. The street itself felt deserted with most restaurants/shops closed. Whiskey Bar (kitchen) was the most happening joint on the block, and possibly one of the few/only things open on Sunday, since it seemed like most people who were in town for the Masters were flocking there. Outside and inside were packed at tables and same with the bar area. We were able to grab 3 stools by the main door and setup shop there for a couple hours. We decided to come back to Whiskey Bar on Monday night after leaving the golf course. Again groups from the Masters were filling up the bar. We were able to get a table without a wait and ordered beers/dinner. We all got burgers - two of us the remedy and one the cali. The burgers were really tasty and hit the spot. Their onion rings are also really good. I'm glad we found this spot since it doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of options in town! My one nag is on the restrooms. They only have 1 female and 1 male stall. I had to wait a decent amount of time each time I needed to go.
google avatar

Courtney Z.

Yelp
Whiskey bar is a downtown staple. With a customizable burger menu + non burger options, it's a great place for friends and families. As the name states, it's a whiskey bar so there are tons of whiskeys to choose from + a full bar for other cocktails. My favorite drink is the Canadian mule and my favorite meal is the lava shrimp wrap. This place is consistently great. Servers and bartenders are friends and knowledgable. The shelving behind the bar is top tier craftsmanship. It can get busy and the wait can get long so I suggest reservations.
