This iconic rock venue draws the best musicians, like Category 7 who played their first ever live show here, for a reason. The sound is impeccable, the people are cool, and the drinks are delicious. The whole vibe is a class act. The Whisky rocks; if you haven't been yet, what are you waiting for?

Google
Hands down some of the friendliest staff i have ever met. The venue continues to live up to its iconic status. Parking was close and guarded. I did not have any issues like i do with a lot of other venues (i.e. most places vary but usually an unbalanced mixture of bad staff/great venue or the opposite). Clearly, the Whiskey has a great mix of both. The bands all seemed pleased with the atmosphere as well. The sound was great wherever I stood. We didn't get kicked out of unreserved seats. We got to mingle with the bands, and the merchandise was easy to get to. Oh, and there were a lot of great food choices. It's really a great place for all-ages events. Honestly, I'm having a difficult time coming up with anything negative about the place... there were a couple of law enforcement officers waiting outside after the show, but I'm sure they were there to see cancerslug because they did not mess with us when we left. Wait. I did kind of get the impression there would be scantily dressed people (women for me) dancing in cages suspended around the bar and stage... maybe a warning on your site letting folks know that you no longer keep dancers in cages would be nice and probably keep CalOSHA away, too. But not me, I'll definitely come back.

Google
First time seeing a show here. Friendly staff and cozy intimate place to see a band. The acoustics here are excellent and the music sounds incredible! Our friend’s band, Torn From Stone from Denver did an amazing set! We will definitely return!

Wade Lucas

Google
“Iconic” doesn’t do this place justice when it comes to walking into this hallowed club! It is as rock and roll as rock and roll can get. Dark. Intimate. And ROCKIN!! Be prepared to be shoulder to shoulder and hip to Hip. Depending who is performing on any certain night - the joint will fill up fast! Cocktails were priced normal. Didn’t get a chance to try anything off the menu but the items I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fab !

Larry Diehl

Google
Awesome venue, great drinks and the live music is phenomenal! The lighting and acoustics here are really good. The only downside is the railing on the top floor impedes your view if you're sitting at one of the small tables next to the ledge. The high top tables don't have this issue. Fun place!

Jaxen Sorrell

Google
Security and Workers were great people. Historic place. Went and saw The Doors and it was amazing Robby Kreiger done amazing!

Sandy Herrera

Google
An absolute nostalgic place to see all the greats and upcoming musicians. It is intimate and gives hope to those of dreaming to be rock stars. There are two floors and a bar up and down stairs. This establishment is accessible to all and serves food and drinks. There is parking in the back and out on the streets. You can buy tickets online or at the door. It has good sound and plenty of room for many to come and watch. There are posters and pictures of the greats who have played and visited.

Christopher

Google
The concert venue. The very best. While wandering around Los Angeles, my friend and I happened upon the legendary Whisky A Go Go and Rainbow. Both famous for the rock legends that performed and partied here, walking into both was surreal and straight out of a dream. I dont have a single negative thing to say about any of it. The staff was amazing and full of stories and the vibe was unparalleled. You need to experience this place for yourself if youre a metalhead. Hit a show here then wander down to the Rainbow for drinks after for a perfect metal night in L.A. Be sure to talk to the staff here as well, I have never met a cooler collection of people in my life.

Yelp
My husband, his friends, and I recently visited Whisky a Go Go to catch a performance by Rose Tattoo. The venue itself has a legendary vibe, and you can feel the history as soon as you walk through the doors. The energy was electric, and the crowd was buzzing with excitement. Unfortunately, halfway through the show, I realized I wasn't quite prepared for the intensity of the sound. My ears started ringing, and I ended up feeling a bit under the weather. It seems I'm not quite conditioned for the powerful soundscapes that rock legends like Rose Tattoo deliver! Despite my unexpected reaction, I have to commend the venue for its vibrant atmosphere and the staff for being attentive and helpful. They made sure I was okay and even offered a quieter spot to sit and recover. For those who are seasoned rock enthusiasts, Whisky a Go Go is a must-visit. Just remember to bring ear protection if you're not used to the volume! Overall, it was an unforgettable night, and I'd love to return with a pair of earplugs in hand.

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday night to see a friend's band. Bought a table on the railing upstairs - it seats two, but I was solo and didn't want to mess with the GA SRO floor. Parking ($20) was easy and convenient in the lot directly behind. Note that the sign boldly states $15, yet in small print adds that's for the first hour, after which there's a $20 max. I was told my table had a reserved sign with my name and I located it easily. Problem was that whoever was announcing the bands also mentioned on several occasions they had booths for rent. Well, the tables and booths upstairs were not sold out. Many were available. Instead of a Reserved sign on those, there was nothing. And random people would sit at those. Security wasn't making rounds checking, and the night was not busy. So why did I spend $100 when I could've just snagged one of those? To further add insult, about 10 minutes before I left for the night, a large foreign-speaking man with broken English sat down at my table next to me. His friend sat next to him, at a vacant table. I turned to look at him and he just stared back. Clueless. But since I knew I'd be out of there decided to say nothing. No wristbands were given for the tables, which would've been another simple solution. But again, that would require a security person to still monitor who's sitting where. Yes - on a packed night I'd expect this to not be an issue since all tables would be booked. I do have a compliment: Barbara was the bartender and took amazing care of me with drink and food orders. She's great!! Huge kudos. Food: started with the potato skins. Oddly I received 5 halves. Where was #6? Probably went the way that a half egg goes when you order deviled eggs somewhere but just get 3 halves. Potatoes had fresh bacon crumbles, but then there was a half slice of the equivalent of a Kraft Single laid on top that sort of melted onto the bacon. No chives. Just a little container of sour cream. Potatoes were cooked well though. And they were still baked potato skins, so you can't go too wrong. Then ordered the cheeseburger and fries. Fries were great! Cheeseburger (that same Kraft Single) was meh. But I wasn't go there for the food. Again, huge kudos to Barbara! Very funny. Very nice. And of course I'll be back soon. This is a great venue. I just won't buy a table.

Judith T.

Yelp
Love this place so much. It's an iconic venue, so much musical history, acoustics were awesome and staff is so friendly. Highly recommend the tables at the railing. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Y'all, no hyberbole, the Whisky is SMALL! We visited on Monday 05/22/2023 to see the house band Fast Times (renowned '80's cover band), and had such a great time. As we were already in the LA area for a music festival, this night happened to be hubs' birthday, so of course I took him to a legendary rock & roll landmark. The first level has two bars, but few tables & seating. Upstairs offers more tables & seating, plus a good view & additional bar. Note, the stage & dance floor area encompasses a good chunk of the footprint downstairs, and security is rather strict on keeping the walkways open. Arriving later than we wanted (I had to work), we missed the Duran Duran cover band. But the lead singer did join Fast Times on stage for one song, which was a fun surprise (for me). We found a small table upstairs, which gave us a great vantage point. Drinks at the bars were expensive but service was efficient, and my cocktails were strong. We found parking on the roof of a small garage in the next block for $20. Since I'd signed up online for the guest list, we had free admission, and I appreciated paying for secure parking so close to the Whisky. If you're going on a Monday, get on the guest list for free entry: https://www.fasttimesband.com/whisky3

Yelp
The Whiskey is an Iconic Club on the Sunset Strip and is always a Blast. I have played there with my band and recently attended a show with my friends from the Band Plush performing. If you're in Hollywood it's a must to see a show!

Yelp
April 2023 / Hollywood: A friend I've known since high school was visiting from Washington & we had tickets to a concert at Whisky-A-Gogo that we both were super excited about! Music & Hollywood is a fun combo! VIP Booth: Customer service was excellent from the moment we walked in! Our booth was labeled/reserved and had plenty of space, as well as cozy! Our server was highly attentive! (Thanks again!) Food & drinks: Loved the jalapeño poppers, seasoned curly fries & drinks were mouthwatering & refreshing, along with bottled water! Concert: So Many performances were so amazing!! Several artists I had never heard of, but enjoyed immensely, as the energy was amazing & the flow was on point! There was definitely a mix of performers; some established...others...maybe we're making their debut?! Overall: Fun & upbeat atmosphere with excellent service, loved it! Cheers to an exciting event & music that moves you, along with a great time with my friend...score!!

Yelp
Coming back here 40 plus years later triggered tremendous memories Food adequate but it's all about the music But older folks beware No place to sit every time I tried security removed me

Yelp
Best booking on the strip! Great security who are assertively enforcing throughout the night. Bartenders are the goods too!

Yelp
Children, learn your history. The likes of Led Zeppelin, Jim Morrison, the Flying Burrito Brothers, and more all cut their teeth here before becoming world famous. If you're lucky you might get to go here for an evening with Pamela Des Barres where she will regale you with stories of some of these fellas onstage, and maybe the bonus story about the time she felt Mick Jagger up under the table in the booth in the back. The Whisky is a dive, yes, but they know WTF they're doing in terms of music, drinks, and ambiance. You can feel the vibes of the many historic musicians who have haunted these halls every time you go.

Yelp
What a great Halloween party and private venue that took place at the Whisky A Go-Go!! I've never been here and I can see now why it's so popular! The lay out of the space and stage, the sound, ambiance and vibe were incredible! The food trucks were hired and well done as well as great service and security! I will definitely head back again. I was impressed with the intimacy of the proximity of the stage and the sound quality. Great epic night to check off my historical list of things to do!

Yelp
If you would have told me a couple months ago that I'd be a groupie to Gaba Groove, I wouldn't have believed you but here we are! First time attending the Whiskey which was a cool experience. I was able to see both sides of the Whiskey from the bands POV minus the actual preforming and the audience's POV. The venue itself is two stories which is where we spent time watching the other bands. Once it was my boyfriends time to preform, he made his way to the green room to prepare with his band. At this time I went to the bar to get myself a drink for their set. I got a twisted tea which was $10 for the can. I wanted a better view of Gaba Groove so I made my way down to the pit area where the other family was of the band. They started preforming which was a mix of covers and mostly original pieces! Out of the three shows I've attended, this one was their best! After they were done we did stick around to see the band after which was fun. Overall this was such a cool experience and can't wait to see another show at the Whisky.

Yelp
Great place, for drinks, food and music. Awesome atmosphere! Definitely loved the staff and how clean it was. I felt like I was back in the 80s rockin out to some of the best music ever. Can't wait to go back to see some live shows!

Yelp
Came here with some friends, love the food. The burgers are great. I come here usually a few times a year, and always love the experience. The sevice is good. I recently saw Motley Crue here and loved it. The vibe is great, very 80s. Love it. Service is never a problem.

Yelp
Rock and roll venue is a STRETCH. This place blows dude. The food was terrible, the security and staff were awful. They call themselves a "rock and roll venue" but you weren't able to sit if you weren't drinking or eating. You can't stand anywhere other than the "dance floor" if there are performers on. This place is the epitome of rigidity and capitalism- there's nothing rock and roll or even chill about this place worst experience I've ever had at a venue and I'll never be returning. Editing this because I forgot to mention the show also started an hour late and most of us were left waiting outside

Yelp
Not just for tourists! Local gem. Monday 80s night with special performance and cover band is just $10 cash/or FREE with rsvp!! A whole night concert, lots of space, great speakers, great lights, amazing performance. Can't believe it's $10/or FREE!! Our friend's visiting parents from mid-west interest of this show got us here last month. Parking: Valet $10, or $15 on a Monday night. There were plenty of meters but actually cost the same but you'll have to feed the meter so just pay valet. Admission: $10 cash. Or if rsvp just that morning through their band site, it's free! Crowd: Thought it would be all tourist but hard to tell. Many people dressed up for 80s night in darker attire vs colorful ones...wondering if it could be just certain people's daily style. Really not much people. Upstairs seating get filled up by mid show. Down stairs are the dancers, and a few of them. Maybe at 25% capacity? We don't mind. Love having so much space. Option to sit or join in dancing downstairs. We danced upstairs instead though by our high top tables. Security is heavy which I'm fine about. - Upstairs is seating for those of us grabbing snacks/food too. You don't have to order meals worth. $8.50 fries were huge portion for sharing. Bar and merch upstairs too. Best view to watch too! - The 1st floor you enter has the performance stage, dance floor, restrooms, bar, merch. We came to see Black Sabbath and the singer was great! Come early to grab a table upstairs. We came at 8pm when it opened. Bartender-tress was really sweet. Forgot drink prices but all of us plan to return again with a bigger group.
google avatar

Yelp
Classic rock venue. A great place to see a show. Bartenders are excellent. No complaints about the food but go there for the music.
google avatar

Vera W.

Yelp
It's okay. Very tiny and cramped ambiance. The service upstairs from the female bartender with long brunette hair was honestly terrible even though I tipped her good. The younger security guard with the fade haircut was harassing a group of girls all night. Honestly, this venue has went downhill. Always overselling tickets.
google avatar

Yelp
Iconic spot. Absolutely a must see. Drinks are strong, staff is amazing. I had one of the best nights of my life there thanks to all the wonderful people who made it happen!

Yelp
*Late review I've been to The Whiskey years ago to watch bands play but this time I was able to watch one of my best friend's kid and his band (Halfway to Neptueplay here at this iconic LA spot. Love that they give opportunities to up and coming bands trying to make it. A huge deal because When In Rome was headlining that night.

Yelp
Fun times!!! Russell Crowe was so much fun here a couple weeks ago. Had a blast. I'm hoping he returns soon

Yelp
I've been going to this venue for a long time, and I like a lot of the shows I've seen at the Whisky. However, there is something I want to address. Last night I came there and used my opposite sex's restroom by accident. How did this happen? I couldn't notice anything immediately given the fact the opposite gender's restroom's door was FULLY WEDGED OPENED, interior fully visible (so anyone can stand over and see inside if they wished), and given that we are now in the world of MANY gender neutral places w/ public bathrooms, the Whisky's management of the facility seemingly suggested this is a first come first serve restroom area. Actually, no one questioned me coming inside. No staff attempted to stop me ... nothing. Upon using it and exiting (it was very clean - kudos to the Whisky for keeping it good!), a guy in the security staff noticed me and started acting hostile to me with my mistake - suggesting this guy's job is to notice women coming in and going out of that place while it's fully visible. That's a little odd. If taken in careful and strict consideration, that should be a female employee watching that space - if not stand in front of what would be a CLOSED door for its intended 100% privacy. Three stars. The best part about this place is the quality of the entertainment the Whisky brings and the clean facilities the patrons can use. The bad here is the impression of the security's attitude and how they are fully exposing a facility they intend for identified genders (which I guess staff are judging people's physical appearance - never mind others who have a personal identification/preference).

Yelp
Much better than before! I last went here about 10 years ago and got hassled by a female security guard at the door and then kicked out for filming. I remember bouncers barking rules at everyone the whole night. The bartender was a drink Nazi and you couldn't start a tab. Just a terrible experience. I'm happy to report that things have changed for the better! I saw Wild Child on Sunday night and it was a way nicer experience. Everyone was friendly, the bouncers were more chill, and I ran a tab at the bar without issue. My only complaint is the shots are tiny. Like 1oz. You'd think a place called the Whisky would be nicer size shots.
google avatar

Bonnie G.

Yelp
Really fun Sunday morning. Our friends Daughter Owns School of Rock in woodland hills we came to see her grandson solo an Elvis song and play bass . Sunday was their performance debut for the current class. The kids all did super jobs , mostly playing classic 1950's rock . One of the young ladies graduated out of the program and she had a beautiful signing voice. Another young lady who sang told us how much music helped her anxiety and being in front in the stage wasn't scary for her . Service: We had to get our own drinks from the bar but 5 stars to the Manager & staff who went out of their way at our request for a bloody mary. The bar tender told us 15 minutes they will be back . they went to purchase the mix and brought back spicy and standard. since this was a 10:00 door call we weren't interested in scotch at 10 am. Big Kudos for the Managers . They generally don't carry it since they are 99% a night club. understandable and impressive that they took the extra step for non professional performance guests . We will be back for some Major Rock concerts here . Know that there is very little seating so be first in line for open seating and wear comfy shoes because you have 50% chance of SRO , besides if your here for a concert I doubt you'll be spending too much time sitting . Rock on!

Yelp
A BIG shout out to Anthony & Amanda who did a great job handling a big crowd that was getting frustrated with waiting much longer outside than expected but it was all good. Now the BAD NEWS...your Bartender was charging 20.00 for well drink's when they were 14.00. When I called her out she gave me back my money... NOT COOL :/

S. K. L.

Yelp
Checked out a great band from Orange County - Rozco Blanco - at the Whisky on February 3 and worked the show as a photographer. Need to say that everyone at the Whisky who played a part in putting the show together was friendly, down to earth, professional, and helpful. Just an incredible staff to work with: Tyler for booking, Jeff with sound, Todd with getting backstage access, Tisa with the tickets, the bouncers, and the service staff ... everyone was great. Made it a fun and enjoyable evening for everyone in attendance! Can't wait to be back for another show at the Whisky a Go-Go!

Raymart R.

Yelp
First time here at Whisky and I came to see a band from San Jose, The New Nothings, and it was a blast. It is a really intimate venue with a good sound system that is mixed well. The food was good for its price point and it gave off the feeling it was made at a family barbecue. The staff and security were super friendly and truly want people to have a good time. It was nice to see a lot of history hanging on their walls; if you have the opportunity to be in the back dressing rooms, there is a photo and signature of the late Aaron Carter. If you have nothing going on and want some live music, I highly recommend checking this place out!
google avatar

Tia M.

Yelp
Not at all what I expected. Very different vibe than the Viper Room. This was 2003 mind you, but I didn't feel welcomed. No one chatted with us, was smaller than I imagined but that's not a reason to knock off stars. The lack of welcome was though, zero bienvenido unfortunately. Two stars because it was cool to visit a place the Doors played. Viper Room we were welcomed and met Keanu Reeves and he put us on his guest list. Crazier still we were the only ones on his guest list. Myself and Jenna. Step it up Go Go
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
This is a historic Los Angeles club! It's in a perfect location. We found easy parking on the street. The bartenders were super nice. The music was amazing!

Yelp
Loved this place!! I thought it was so cool being there just because of all the history surrounding it.
google avatar

Aleksei Y.

Yelp
Great Place to visit! So much history ... you can smell it in the air! Nice food a variety of drinks!
google avatar

Sara W.

Yelp
This was our first time at the Whiskey! Wow! So much energy and an eclectic group of musicians. It was smaller than I thought it would be but it wasn't too crowed when we were there. We were there to watch a friends's band- Grievance- they ROCK! Anything But Human and Saliva played after and they rocked but it was sooo loud! Thank goodness we had our earplugs. You can dance depending on the crowd. They have an upstairs with tables. I think you have to reserve those. Our friends had them reserved for us. There's three bars so no reason not to get a drink and you shouldn't have to wait too long. Bathrooms are small but hey, they work, and we're clean. Perfect! Go and enjoy and remember you're surrounded by music royalty memories!

Yelp
The Whiskey is such a legendary spot, you've got to check it out at least once if you're in LA. Great shows & the best of people... also surprisingly good food (or maybe I was drunk lol)

Steven E.

Yelp
Just to make it short, a must. Venue for new bands to play and get noticed . As the old great whistle stop I call it lol two of my favorite venues and most of the great shows that made TV or now on you tube , or yelp or some music place prior to signing the big deal. I feel they should be a must but definitely on your bucket list the history of them alone would be enough to blow one away rock & roll will never die " True " Much love & peace whiskey a go goo a must go see and feel the karisema
google avatar

Tony G.

Yelp
Such an amazing time at the whisky a go go . The history alone of this place is amazing. Such great bands and awesome sound. I never have had a bad night here and have been come here since the 80's back in the glam days when the strip was packed. The zeros show was sold out and what a hell of a night for all !!!!!!!!!!!!

Eric S.

Yelp
Great time at the Whiskey, staff was amazing. Very nice setup even has valet parking directly behind the building.

Yelp
OK, this was it for me! Ever since I was like 10 years old, listening to amazing music by 60's and 70's rock bands, the Whisky was ever present in these band's climb to stardom. There was a mystique about this music venue that I understood even back then. 40 years later, I was finally able to go. It was better than I'd hoped it would be. We didn't even care who was performing. Live music is pretty much non-stop at the Whisky. We happened to get lucky and see guitar Queen Nita Strauss and her band, as well as 3 really good opening bands. I loved everything about the Whisky. The sound, for a relatively small venue, was incredible. The staff, bouncers, bartenders, etc......were great. The stage for bands was perfect. Pretty small viewing area, but we go right up front for all shows. There are full bars throughout the first and 2nd floor of the building. Drinks, albeit expensive, which was no surprise, were well made. This is a very well run, professional establishment, despite some negative reviews about staff. I've been to hundreds of venues around the country. This is top top tier! I can't wait until my next trip to LA. The Whisky A Go Go will be my first stop for good times.
google avatar

Jenna J.

Yelp
The best place on earth. Such a historical landmark. Great energy, great staff. strong drinks and amazing sound. A MUST VISIT

Alan Z.

Yelp
Intimate iconic venue. If the walls could talk, you would be spellbound for eternity. Go catch a live act you like here, the sound is really dialed in . The staff was courteous and even checked in my motorcycle helmet. I ride in because I can park between two cars on the Sunset Strip for free and walk in with zero drama.
google avatar

Jenn B.

Yelp
So went last night to hear Tommy Howell perform which was awesome! Have to tell you our server Jerry was on it!!! And security guards especially Brian was so helpful I have a bad leg /back and he would help me walk wherever I was going and offered to bring me a chair when I was standing ... door guys where so nice and helpful also! such a great time! Great drinks and food! Love the venue!
google avatar

Steven S.

Yelp
5 stars for the venue and its history. 0 for today's management and organization. They sell slot to perform. Saw a lot of mediocrity. A lot... Same stage of EVH, Frank Zappa, Zeppelin, etc. Very sad. In addition to that, main events have four to six opening acts (!!!!!!!!!!!!), apparently all paying up to eight hundred dollars. All about business.
google avatar

Nadine S.

Yelp
Haven't been here since the 90's (haha...I won't tell you my age but I'm not old. Meeting up with some friends that I haven't seen in a while. The Whisky is always a good vibe and from the minute you walk in the door. If you're coming for an event buying tickets online, check out the reservations section. You can get a table reserved and great viewing but you have to reserve it with your event ticket. Cool place, historical! If you're visiting LA, this is a must visit landmark and on a great street in LA to walk down.

Maddie L.

Yelp
came here to see my friends band play! sounded great and the stage is nice! got a cup of soda for $6 which is a little too much for me. they are super strict here for some reason! we were standing on the floor and kept accidentally standing on the carpet and security was on our ass to move. they also were telling people they couldn't lean on the wall and a group of kids were shining and waving flashlights and were told to stop. randomly they had a camera fee for $25??? wasn't even a professional camera it was a shitty old camcorder my partner was using to get some cool footage for our friend. wild it cost more to film than my ticket to the show which was $20. we ubered as parking is a little iffy in this area unless you park in a random lot.
google avatar

Tatiana B.

Yelp
Update: I received a message from Maureen Singleton aka Tisa the manager harassing me about my review and how I was lying...you can't make this stuff up. LOL Don't work in this industry if you're not going to be level headed, understanding and accommodating.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
I haven't been here in ten years, and last night was the first time I went. I was happy to find the place was still the same. The place was packed, and I was really happy to see the bands play. This is a pay to play venue if you are a musician, and I don't think that has really changed. One drawback to visiting here is the parking. Over the years, parking has gotten tougher. I arrived at 9 for a 9:30pm show and was panicking because I couldn't find parking. Luckily, the Viper Room parking lot was open, and I was able to park here. It was like $20.50 for 2 hours, and if there is no attendant, you can pay with your phone. I would suggest taking an Uber if you plan to go. Either way, I enjoyed the show and the crowd.

Yelp
Where legends strut their stuff, past to present. Interestingly, playing the Sunset Strip has become prestigious again, especially with the demise of the Key Club and House of Blues. Bands such as Van Halen, Guns and Roses and nearly all heavy metal acts moved from small bars to the Whiskey, and for how long it lasted, filled arenas. Today, it's cool to play at the club associated with so many successful musicians despite its relatively small space. Over the years I've seen local nobody's, the lesser known prog metal band Fate's Warning, and more recently, the legendary Michael Schenker. Kicking off a world tour by taking over The Whiskey for three consecutive nights is a rare move but for a man who's been to hell and back and plays better than ever, it's a bold statement. For me the intimacy of seeing a star barely seven feet away is worth the painful standing. However, I might break down and get tickets for a table upstairs next time, if there is one. While selling out a show is impressive, it does mean ticket holders should arrive early to stake a place near the stage. Sometimes you have to see two to three opening bands of varying styles and stage presence (the worst are a bunch of clowns dressed like pirates). Naturally, a headliner has the best sound but the old building seeps history of rock and roll and is worth experiencing at least once.

Yelp
Nothing better than seeing a show at the historical Whiskey A Go Go, well..... unless you get to see your son performing with the awesome SOR House Band. Nothing is better than that! The line to get in went around the block but the employees and Security were great, they got through the line fairly quickly. There are some nice booths on the 1st floor you can reserve, I believe they are around $400 and include a set amount of tickets and bottle service. We reserved seating on the second floor which was $75 and was next to the railing but was perfect because we had the best view of the stage. The booths downstairs are nice but when crowded the view is not so great since everyone is standing on the floor. There is a bar downstairs and one upstairs (the one upstairs opened a little later than the one on the 1st floor). They do have finger type food you can order as well. We got our son potato skins and he enjoyed them, prices are decent for both food and drinks (again especially in the area). Overall the sound was pretty good, the band sounded amazing plus it is just an amazingly iconic venue. The staff was super cool and whether it was entering the venue, getting a drink, or a bite to eat they got through everything quickly (especially since it was very crowded). The show was fun and again it made it that much better being that we got to see these amazing young adults perform. If you have a chance to check out a show there, it is fun. Whiskey is large enough to have a nice show yet you feel intimate enough to enjoy without thousands of people.

Yelp
Great place for concerts besides parking can be very difficult if you don't want to pay for parking. Drinks aren't to bad at 9 bucks for a concert that's about average

Yelp
To the one complaining about the "Balcony Karen", I can understand Balcony Karen's problem. She paid $100 each table for some inconsiderate person like you to go up to the balcony seating you didn't pay for, and block peoples' views and climb all over them and their guests during a pandemic as though you paid your way up to the balcony. If you want to sit in the balcony then reserve a table. If not, there's plenty of standing room on the main level. The only Karen in this situation is YOU.
