"The Whisper doesn't seem like it's going to be good. It's at The Grove, the interior looks like those hotel restaurants that serve overdone steaks, and also did we mention it's at The Grove. But against all odds, The Whisper actually has not-awful food and drinks, and feels like a comfortable neighborhood date spot rather than a stuffy mall restaurant." - Amy Clark

The staff right down to the owner are wonderful & the food was great & so was the hospitality! Carlos is a great owner made us feel at home, I'd come back anytime!! We are from Pittsburgh and enjoyed it there!! The burgers we had best burger I've had in a long time & the fresh cut fries were delicious!! Thanks Carlos & staff of whispers!

There are some things that are off about this place. It’s a little hidden and comes off quite sketchy when you first walk in. The drinks and food are decent. I used to go when they had their karaoke nights and I loved going there specifically for that reason. The owner is a great guy, always chatting you up and attending to all the clients that walk in through the doors.

Great place. Went twice and both times I enjoyed the night. The staff are very attentive. Seems to be very family oriented and they treat he customers the same way, everyone is welcome. The group is extremely diverse with all nationalities and age groups (from young to old) getting together to have clean fun in one place. The way it is supposed to be. The setting of the place is also nice and melow. If you are looking for fun entertainment and to just relax with good drinks, this is the place. Friday night karaoke. I also recommend their signature wings. Koodos to the owner and his team!

Went here with a couple of friends for a preparty pick-me-up. Got some wings and garlic flat bread, both of which were great. It was very chill on a Saturday night, great music choice, and the proprietors were absolutely wonderful, kind, and attentive.

One of the best kept secrets in town. Not only is the owner a really down to earth, humble man, but the food is great. The staff is friendly and the drinks not only taste great but are fairly priced. There always different events going on during the weekend, a must go.

I love coming here. The bartender Jess makes the best drinks and the owner/manager makes you fell so comfy in here. They do kareoke until certain times some nights and you can catch a game playing other times. It's a small place with charm and is always nice. The food here is also worth trying. I love the Pernil (Spanish roast pork shoulder) with a side of plantanos (fried plantains). The location also strays nice and clean. The location is near Broadway and easily accessible from the train station. It is a nice laid back shot for a casual evening if you feel like going out but not going far or spending a huge amount of money. Whenever I'm in town I love going here because I never had a bad time. If you don't like huge crowds and want to here a mix of music or have a good drink, go to whispers.

Don't hesitate. It may seem suspect but this bar is a diamond hidden in the rough. Amazing food for a place that looks like a dive and the staff is inviting. Not a paid reviewer but you may see me at a bar stool because I love the wings. Make sure you get "whispers sauce".
