I had to delete my original review so I could write a new one, because it must be paid attention to. Let's lay the setting:
friday night. i'm watching my niece because my sister has school tonight. she calls up because she needs to be picked up. i grab my niece, we go pick her up, and my sister says she's in the mood for White Castle. I am too, and off we go.
Get there, the drive thru line is horrendous. Its almost going out into the street, its that bad. So I decide to go in. BIG MISTAKE. I don't know what it is, but anytime I go there on a Friday night i find myself surrounded by....ever watch "Land of the Lost" and that creature Cha-Ka? Yeah, i'm surrounded by a bunch of them, and i'm talking the customers here. Unfortunately, none of them are as intelligent as Cha-Ka, and he was a fictional character for god's sake. I don't know what it is about this place but IQ's plummet as soon as they walk thru the door.
Here's what happened: I'm waiting on line to order and there are 5 people in front of me. The woman behind the register is very slow so the line was very slow, and we've been standing there for almost 10 minutes. I stress 10 MINUTES because there's a point coming up. So a woman, who's been on line longer than me, gets up to the register. Guess what she does? She tells the cashier to hang on, proceeds to use her cellphone to ask what her friend wants to order. SHE WAS ON LINE FOR 10 MINUTES AND NOW SHE'S ASKING HER FRIEND WHAT SHE WANTS?!?!?!?! I guess there's a bad connection because she just hung up her phone and ordered. But then, a woman comes into the place and goes up to the woman. IT'S THE WOMAN WHO WAS ON THE PHONE!! she was outside and now she is telling her friend what she wants. man oh man, i started to have a fit. thank god the people behind her started to as well, and told her to hurry up.
so yeah, that was experience #1. Experience #2 goes like this: now i've ordered and waiting for my food, along with a bunch of other people. A woman orders a chocolate shake, thats it. She waits, im guessing, about 2 minutes before she starts complaining loudly "I just got a shake, can I have it please? It doesn't take that long to make". now, being the smartass i am, i interject myself. "Excuse me," I say, "but all of us ordered before you so if anything we should be getting our food before you, regardless of what you ordered. We were here first and we deserve our food first." naturally that shut the woman up.
and naturally i'm never coming back here again.
