"After voting at the White Center Library, we think you should dip some chicken tenders into five different sauces from Bok A Bok. Order a spread of Korean fried chicken, with side dishes like kimchi mac and cheese or biscuits with spiced honey, and don’t forget some extra house ranch." - aimee rizzo

"Dipping sauces are the best part about eating wings. If you don’t agree with us, you clearly haven’t tried Bok A Bok Bok. This spot in White Center (with more locations in the U-District, Capitol Hill, and Burien) serves excellent homemade herby ranch, sesame soy garlic, umami BBQ, and a citrusy hot sauce that are all ideal for complimenting a pile of their shatteringly-crunchy Korean-fried chicken. Get the tenders or the wings over sandwiches, which can get soggy in transit, and add on sides like biscuits, kimchi mac and cheese shells, and spiced tater tots to round everything out." - aimee rizzo

"When Bok A Bok is good, it’s really good, and you can expect gluten-free Korean fried drumsticks and thighs with batter that shatters, dunked in tasty dipping sauces like a jazzed-up ranch, or sesame miso vinaigrette. But for the majority of the times we’ve eaten here, we’re disappointed in their chicken, which trends simultaneously soggy and dry. As for sides, you’re in good hands with some incarnation of fried potato, or a homemade biscuit with spiced honey. And while the heat and crispy garlic topping on the kimchi shells and cheese is enticing, we constantly wish there was more salt. We also wish it wasn’t overcooked. If you’re in a pinch and are interested in spending around $15 on a quick meal, you can certainly do that here and not be angry. Especially if you just order some tater tots alongside every delicious dip in the building. photo credit: Nate Watters" - Aimee Rizzo

"With a small, bright interior and friendly service, Bok a Bok serves up juicy double-fried Korean chicken, flaky biscuits, and creamy kimchi mac and cheese. The spicy chicken sandwich with a four-chili sauce and pickled Serrano peppers is a delicious choice for those who like heat. You can also stop by anytime on Taco Tuesdays and get six of their sweet and salty bulgogi chicken tacos for the price of three." - Jenise Silva

Best wings I’ve had from a restaurant. They were so crispy but not overly breaded. I detest fried chicken because there is always so much bread but this was just perfect. I loved the flavor, I got the ones with honey mustard and my spouse got the spicy garlic and I tried both and loved them. I usually avoid getting wings because they are usually way overpriced but the price was good for the portion sizes. Wound up having to eat the tater tots cold because we were so full from the chicken but those were still good as well.

Ordered delivery on ‘taco Tuesday’. Really enjoyed the tacos! The biscuits with hot honey were quite tasty. The kimchi Mac and cheese was a little too mushy for my taste but it could have been due to the time to get delivered. All items were taste explosions and obviously the chicken is the star of the show.

SerpAPI
The two stars are for the the customer service. The cashier was very helpful, patient, and friendly. The food is overhyped. The chicken was crispy but had no flavor you couldn't taste any seasonings whatsoever I was highly disappointed. The fries tasted like fries nothing special. The macaroni and cheese is overhyped I like the kimchi part but it tasted like they use nacho cheese that you would use for nachos and that doesn't belong in macaroni and cheese. The dirty rice bowl was not what I was expecting it was white rice with a runny egg and spicy sauce over it. It was okay. Overall the food lacked flavor AKA seasonings AKA salt and pepper at the very least.. You need more than a nice crunch to make chicken taste good.

Look, you're going to walk in here and see this menu and struggle with what to order first because everything looks so amazing. Ffs, calm down, I'm here to help. I present you with some of the crispy goodness you can't go wrong with: - Chicken thighs w/ spiced honey - Fish sauce caramel wings - Chinese honey mustard wings - Coconut brown butter fried tofu - You hungrier than that? Add a biscuit for perfection. And for the love of god theirself, order 1 tots and also 1 mac 'n cheese AND POUR THAT CHEESY GOODNESS on top of that shiz. Thank me. Curse me. Call my mother. Is good.

The menu is like nothing I’ve ever seen, how was I supposed to choose? … unique fried chicken flavors. Staff super nice. The fry on the chicken tenders was spot on OMG. My tenders were dressed with Fish Sauce Caramel and maybe a little too lightly. I used the spiced honey that came with my son’s biscuit and that gave it more flavor. We also got the salt and vinegar wings ((pleasingly dry sticky skin and maybe not salty enough)) and the jalapeño cheddar chicken which was … a revelation XD like taking fried chicken and rolling it in the powder that comes with boxed Mac and cheese. Cole slaw not so great, too sweet it didn’t balance the heavy chicken. I give this place five stars bc I think it should be experienced, and even if the food was short of perfect I love the concept!

Bok a Bok has been our go-to take out restaurant during the pandemic! Their fried chicken is the perfect blend of seasoning and crunchy exterior. It’s great paired with the kimchi Mac and cheese. Reasonably priced and delicious - I would highly recommend!

SerpAPI
This place was absolutely horrible and way over priced. They literally threw kale in a bowl with a piece of friend chicken, called it a fancy name and gave it an expensive price tag. It was the worst tasting chicken we ever had. I’ve had better salads from Wendy’s. I think that speaks for itself.

SerpAPI
Great for fried chicken cravings. I like the recipe, more Asian style I guess. This also eems to be a little less greasy than KFC or Ezells. I liked the different sauces. The tacos were good, although not my favorite tacos. Good quality fast food overall. Good and quick service.

Yelp
This place was so good, that we ordered it twice during my 12 day stay in Seattle. And we also ordered delivery. The friend that I was staying with said the wrap was the closest that she could find to the Beijing chicken wrap back when she was in China. I definitely had to get the chicken wings. In addition, we also got tea, eggs, Chinese, donut, and sweet soy milk. Chicken wings: cumin PROS: - Came warm, almost hot, even for delivery. They are really fast and getting their food out for DoorDash. - Cumin flavor was Bangin. I know this is a particular spice and subjective to whether people like this flavor or not though. For me, it's so hard to find so I love this option. - seasoning was not overwhelming. A nice little bit was on each wing. - Writing was nice and crispy, not soggy when I eat it. Yeah, it wasn't so crispy where it would scrape the skin off the roof of your mouth. CONS: - none Tea egg and Chinese donut PROS: - decent quantity, not to share, though if you were hungry as a single eater. - Chinese donut Still crispy on arrival - TA was a standard TA, but it was really tasty. - Thiago was not overly seasoned, and also not soft too long were the egg, white has the texture of rubber. CON: - The Chinese donut was actually on the warm side, and starting to get a little bit chewy towards the center just from delivery. I'm sure this would be much better if it came out fresh in store. - It does not reheat. Well in the microwave. May be better in a toaster oven. I really wish they had a branch near where I lived. Unfortunately, I guess this means I'll just have to go back to Seattle to get this fried chicken again!

Yelp
Takeout only. Cashier was friendly. I tried the Spicy chicken sandwich (with chicken thigh), serrano pepper and kimchi. I enjoyed the taste, but didn't like the texture of the batter (hard). The kimchi Mac n cheese was al dente and wasn't too flavorful. In short, reasonable price for mediocre food.

Luis G.

Yelp
Lemon wings were so so Fries where delicious Customer service was great They don't have a multi selection of food combination. The chicken thigh didn't looked fully cooked

Eve M.

Yelp
First time here, and I was a little disappointed, in comparison to the Korean fried chicken I've had in Federal Way, which was also a chain. Price-wise, it is expensive for what you get. Taste-wise, nothing really special, just tasted like a regular fried chicken. I had the 2-pc OG boneless chicken thighs (no skin!!!), very crunchy even after it has been in the fridge, but tasteless. I thought the dipping sauce would help but not really. It was on the bland side. The biscuit was nothing special as well. Service-wise, it was quick but there were some stuff missing -- the second dipping sauce that I was promised was not in the bag as well as the ketchup. Would I go back? Perhaps to try the kimchi Mac n cheese, which colleague said was good.

Dina G.

Yelp
Unfortunately, something about this chicken made me not feel so great after eating it, both times. I think it's just too greasy for me. I have a very sensitive stomach, tho, so if you like greasy food and don't typically have a problem you should give it a try to see for yourself. It's an interesting type of crispiness. I didn't like the chicken thighs. The portion is HUGE. The tots were typical tots. Also a pretty big portion. The wings were more enjoyable for me than the thighs. I couldn't tell the difference between with chili flakes and without. I really disliked the ranch dressing. It had a bizarre flavor to me. Anyway, it's gluten free which is great. Maybe with one of the flavors or rubs it's better. For me, it wasn't worth the indigestion. Oh well!

Kathy N.

Yelp
Not good at all. I ordered the 6 piece chicken strips with Chinese honey mustard and my friend got the 15 piece wing with spiced honey & garlic. Both of us did not like the breading for the strips, which was simply hard (not crispy or crunchy). I didn't understand the Chinese part of the sauce and didn't detect any sort of flavoring to indicate Chinese. I thought maybe it would have 5 spice powder or something, but instead there was a very strong mustard taste that was unpleasant and overpowering (and I usually really like mustard and honey mustard!). Honestly tasted like the Signature Select (Safeway brand) of honey mustard. One strip I had was juicy but the others were a little dry. The kimchi Mac was decent and I actually sort of liked it. It didn't blow me away but I enjoyed it. It could've had a stronger cheese flavor and been a little spicier. We went on a Monday so they had a buy one get one free (Tuesdays are buy one get one free tacos). I didn't try the wings so I can't comment on those but my friend did not like them. An issue with both chicken orders was the sauce did not fully cover the chicken pieces. After discussing with my friend, we thought our food was all rather bland despite the sauces. How? Because the sauces were pooled at the bottom of the container. It was almost like the sauce was put into the container and then the chicken on top. Or, the sauces just couldn't stick well to the chicken and slid right off. That was disappointing. It was fairly busy when we walked in to order and it seemed like only 2 ppl were working so I understand why this may have been rushed, but again, the final product wasn't good. Like I said, because we went when it was a little busy, there was a bit of wait. There is a bench on one side for customers to sit. Because of the large fridge/freezer taking up much of the front, it did feel a little claustrophobic. I am giving 2 stars rather than one because the kimchi Mac was decent and the lady working the register was very kind.

Olyvia N.

Yelp
3.5 stars - Definitely not what I was expecting. Starting off with there's plenty of street parking but it could get busy and hard to find a spot. Definitely not a place to dine in, which is fine we got our order and went to the park and ended up having a picnic We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, dirty tots, kimchi Mac and cheese and the four-alarm chicken strips. I was not that impressed with the breading on the chicken at all. The chicken itself is definitely juicy and flavorful; the breading was rough definitely "crispy", I had a hard time chewing it down. I really enjoyed the dirty tots probably one of my favorites; I could just order that all that time. the kimchi Mac and cheese was good - the cheese sauce was very thick and creamy wouldn't say it's the best thing in the world but it's decent

Chris T.

Yelp
I consider myself a chicken connoisseur hailing from North Carolina and this is some of the best I've had. The sandwiches and tenders are fried to perfection and coupled with ranch, it's a contender for dinner each and every night.

Carrie B.

Yelp
Didn't realize it wasn't an eat-in place anymore, but we still ordered and took it to eat in the car! My daughter had the dirty bird and said it was delicious! My spicy chicken sandwich was so good--just the right amount of spice and so many textures...my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it! My husband really liked the tacos as well. My daughter's boyfriend wasn't a big fan of the breading I On his chicken strips, but I thought it looked pretty good! LOL! I wasn't a huge fan of the kimchee Mac and cheese, but it wasn't terrible. I just wish there was a plain version. We would definitely come back, and now we know what we like...maybe next time we'll have wings!?!

John A.

Yelp
Yes it's GF, but meh. Our fam got the wings, tenders, biscuits (for non-GF), and kimchi. I would order the tenders and the kimchi again, and I would ask for 10x the chili flake. The biscuit was dry like cardboard, and just no good. The wings were breaded. You gotta be into that, which I'm not. The tenders were great and the kimchi was amazing. I'd order that kimchi every time, and even on its own. Parking lot is small at the location I visited in white center, but you could easily park down the street and walk to the place to pick up your order. The interior is basic, there is a window to pickup and a couch to sit on if you need to wait.

Mina H.

Yelp
I was excited to try bok bok chicken wings from good reviews. Actually it is not what I expected chicken wings. Breaded was very thick n hard for super crunchy. It is why people like it ? But I prefer light breaded crispy chicken. Dry chicken n wet chicken both of them would be better with more flavorful. With Salt n pepper and curry powder or onion powder. Anyway it was fun to try.

Alisha M.

Yelp
Overall, A decent Friday night takeout meal. We ordered wings, fries (no cheese), Kimchi, coleslaw, and a chicken sandwich. The wings were great, flavor preference for me though.. I'm not a fan of aniseed type flavors and I could taste it prominently on these wings. Next time I'll try the sesame soy wings. This food is pure comfort food once you mix a bite with the kimchi, coleslaw and fries with your wings.

Todd O.

Yelp
Got 50pc wings, take out, while heading to a friends potluck lunch. Food was hot and ready when we arrived. Included lots of sauces. It was a hit! This place makes great wings if you like a crunch!

Dianna T.

Yelp
I've been to the Bok a Bok in Burien, but we decided to try this one in White Center since it is closer to our house. There is plenty of free parking in this area, which is always a plus! Apparently they don't serve drumsticks anymore, which is a bummer since they are my favorite. I decided to order 2 piece fried chicken thighs instead. They are boneless and you can choose two dipping sauces. I went with Spiced Honey and Bok a Bok Ranch Sauce. I also ordered a Biscuit with Spiced Honey as a side. The food was excellent! The thighs are huge and it is kind of nice to not deal with chicken bones. The sauces were also really good and I think they improved the packaging because now they make dipping really easy! The biscuit was also soft and delicious. All together it was a lot of food for one person! The employee who took our order was really nice and friendly. He was cool even though we had trouble deciding what to order. There are no dine-in tables at this location, but there are some benches where you can sit and wait for your to-go order. They weren't very busy when we went and it only took about 10 minutes to get our food, which was awesome. We would definitely come back here.

Jason B.

Yelp
U-District location. Got two chicken sandwiches, kimchi mac n' cheese, tots and 5 wings. Chicken in the sandwiches was woody--not good. Sandwiches extra sloppy--buns need to be bigger to fit the chicken. Tots were crispy. Mac n' cheese uninspired. Wings unremarkable--nothing special at all. Not going to go back.

Christina M.

Yelp
Went to the location to order some food, was a little disappointed to see they closed the dining area as we were planning on dining in. The food was pretty good and the cashier was friendly. The fish sauce wings were weird, it was a weird smell bringing it up to your face to it but it was surprisingly delicious and crispy. The tator tots were extremely rich and very good, the one thing I didn't like is it did come with egg, so the white stuff you see on top is basically partially cooked, runny egg white which was a textural nightmare for me. I like it in the sauce but I didn't expect gelatinous gunk on top so I scooped it off. The kimchi Mac and cheese was so so, I wouldn't order it again. It feels like it could be great, but their Mac n cheese is super bland to be complimented with a food like kimchi. We had the sesame and kimchi and chicken burger as well which were also very good. All in all, I'd visit again.

Lola G.

Yelp
The only chicken wings I crave. I only get the original with chili flakes. Add the miso vinaigrette as a dip and I could only eat that for the rest of the day. Their batter is unmatched. I also love their dirty rice bowl. Very tasty. I've only ever gotten it delivered so I can't comment on the restaurant itself but I highly recommend trying it out if you're craving classic chicken wings with a twist.

G S.

Yelp
Great food but celiacs beware!!! I was SO excited to find a place that has GF chicken! They have dedicated fryers and what sounds like good protocols on their website, but I test all my food and the honey garlic wings have come back a strong positive for gluten on more than one occasion. Even though they have gluten free batter and dips, something they are using has gluten in it. Be careful. If they could solve this I would eat there every week. No kidding.

Tony C.

Yelp
Great little spot! I was very pleasantly surprised. I have heard many good things about this spot and really wanted to check it out. I ordered the dirty-tots, strips with the spiced honey and garlic, and the yuzu green chile sandwich. The sandwich and the dirty-tots were great! Basically what I expected and was very fulfilling. The strips were very good but the sauce for me could be slightly tweaked. I would have hoped a slight bit more garlic and a slight savory taste with a little less sweetness. The main point for taking a star off is due to the take out experience. I really think it would help keeping the dishes fresh if the sauces were in a separate container that the customer can pour on themselves when they reach their destination.

Cooper H.

Yelp
Wonderful service, scrumptious tenders and delightful mac n' cheese. Though it is a bit pricey.

Krista S.

Yelp
We used to frequent the Burien location all the time and loved it. The food was consistently good, it was ready when they said it was, and the staff was lovely. However, we've been to the White Center location twice now and been disappointed both times. The first time our food wasn't ready when we were told it was (we ordered online) and had to wait an additional 15 minutes. The portions were smaller than the Burien location and just not as good. This second time, the portions were still smaller and the wings were terrible. There was barely any meat on them and they were overcooked. It makes me sad to say it but I don't think we'll be coming here again.

Lisa P.

Yelp
Service was fun and helpful. Please remember to tip these people who are epically serving us. Now let's talk bok bok chicken. This place knows how to serve it up mega size fried with delicious crispy slaw, nice fresh soft bun in an adorable build a bear style box. A fabulous accompaniment to bok bok are the food trucks on the corner next door. Our Camp Staff group of 11 helped the local economy by consuming from all; bok bok, Best Roasted Corn and the Taco truck (name unknown). See photos of logo, menu and food from bok bok.

Victoria S.

Yelp
Gluten-free fried chicken WITHOUT pre-order? Sign me up! True, parking is hard and the area can be a bit sketchy but the food makes up for it in strides. Now let's talk chicken. Bok a Bok only uses high-quality ingredients - fresh, never frozen antibiotic-free chicken which is the secret to their juicy fried chicken. The portions are also huge. We shared six chicken strips and still had two pieces to take home. Don't forget to try the add-on sauces. All of them. This is where Bok a Bok shines. My favorite is the homemade ranch which has a zest of spice balanced perfectly with acidity and creamy richness, but every sauce is amazing. You just need to find which one is yours!

Fern Z.

Yelp
Today I messed up and ordered a meal to be picked up at capital hill instead of white center. What did they do? They remade it for me at no cost. Has boka bok lost money on this order? well they probably broke even but they certainly got a 5 star review and we will continue to be long term customers of their establishment. If you read these kudos to whoever was working the 6pm shift at the white center location, they deserve it.

Savy P.

Yelp
One of my favorite places that I tried in seattle. Kimchi mac n cheese was the best I've ever had and the tacos and chicken sandwich also hit the spot. Soooo yummy

Diana X.

Yelp
The fried chicken sandwich and anything involving the kimchi cheese sauce is a must-have. The chicken sandwich has a fantastic note of yuzu sauce, and is perfectly fried, crispy and crunchy. The crispiness is airy, and the chicken inside is almost suspended in the crispy shell and is super juicy. The pea sprouts are kind of overkill - somehow another green seems more appropriate. But with the sauce and distinctive fried chicken nestled in the bun, it's still an incredible chicken sandwich. I had the tots with kimchi cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was so good that I tried looking up how they made it later, since there's a couple of Youtube videos with the chef. The kimchi sauce is good, because of the slight whiff of fermentation and spice that adds a complex kick to what is normally a pretty plain cheese sauce. Love the slightly Korean-inspired fried chicken joint that this place is. And lot it even more for being a White Center thing.

Caleb V.

Yelp
Chicken was very hard and difficult to chew. I ordered the spiced honey and garlic tenders and I could only really taste honey on it and very little flavor of spice or garlic. I also had the fries they were okay pretty average fries but with gochugaru(Korean chili flakes) on it.

Derrick L.

Yelp
If you are in the Seattle area, Bok Bok Chicken is a local business you would not want miss. First and foremost this restaurant is not like your average everyday fried chicken place. It is not a chain or a franchise as it is locally owned and operated. The thing that makes Bok Bok Chicken stand out is not the interior, not the location, not the exterior... Bok Bok chicken stands out from other friend chicken establishments because... You guessed it, the chicken! Each bite of the chicken has its own unique flavor and crunch. While the chicken overall is prepared the same way, the staff make sure each bite is worth while. Each bite, each crunch, each piece of chicken is made locally and the flavor and quality shows it. The chicken can be seasoned with different condiments, dry rubs, etc but if you want the true flavor, get it basic then having the dipping sauces/condiments on the side. Bok Bok. When mixed together, the chickens cripsy flavorful breading and the sauces make this chicken absolutely mind blowing. The interior is unfortunately closed down due to Covid, meaning there are zero opportunities for indoor dining. The interior is modern with a splash of bright colors and decorations, including signed posters of Guy Fieri as he visited this restaurant as a featured segment on the famous show "Diners, Drive-inn's, and Dives" from the Food Network. The exterior has a handful of seats for patrons to wait for their food but nothing spectacular. Parking is shared with other businesses in the shopping center, again, nothing extravgent. If you are looking for awesome chicken and other unique food entrees at an affordable price and easy going staff, this place should be on your list!

Edith L.

Yelp
The thighs and wings is the way to go. We tried the strips the first time and it was dry. This time we decide to go back for something else and it was definitely the right decision. The online system is faulty tho, as someone mentioned before it won't allow you to put a custom tip and it does not register other so you are force to tip at least 10% which is annoying. I ended up ordering through yelp since it's the same price and allows you to put a custom tip. Also dirty rice is bomb!

Janet N.

Yelp
Bok a Bok, how can you be both disappointing and so good? I just don't get it. Bok a Bok stays breaking with my heart with each visit I make. The chicken wings are delicious, don't get me wrong. There are just some inconsistencies in how it's seasoned. There are days when it's perfectly seasoned, days when it's bland, and days when it's salty. Just make up your mind! Sure there are dipping sauces that accompany it, but the point of a perfectly cooked chicken wing is that it doesn't need any sauce. It is the star, it doesn't need any backup dancers. On top of that their customer service is pretty inconsistent as well. Sometimes they're nice, sometimes they're crabby. Pretty sure there was one time I visited where the cook completely ignored my order and fried up everyone else's who came after me. It took nearly an hour for me to get my food, like why? I feel like I'm in a bad relationship where I keep coming back only to get disappointed each time. Any who... come to this place with caution, patience, and low expectations. It's good, but not that good.

Neha K.

Yelp
If you love spicy , like spicy hot fried chicken ... then look no further . I love ordering food from this place . Their chicken is sooo delicious, crispy , tender and bursting full of flavors . I absolutely love the spicy chicken sandwich and yes it's pretty hot . Don't hesitate to order the kimchi Mac and cheese . It is definitely a unique twist to your traditional Mac and cheese and all for the better . Yummy tater tots - NOT soggy and hella crispy (yes even with delivery) and I've also had wings from this place (fall off the bone chicken) I love that they give the wing sauce on the side. The orders are prepared pretty fast . I've had good experience with delivery and takeout . So yes, to sum it up this place is

Nami N.

Yelp
I saw bok a bok Chicken for king 5 Evening TV show the other day. So here we go~ came around 2pm Labor day. I was disappointed once tasted food...below that my expectations. Since it was our first time, service guy suggested us to try 6 strips of chicken breast strips $13.85, kimchi mac n' cheese $5, house-made biscuit w/ spiced honey $2 each and sesame soy garlic sauce & 4 chili hot sauce 0.50cents each. I didn't care that two of sauces. Sauces we had didn't seem like that right combination of flavors for that chicken. But I liked Chicken breast, juicy, tender & thick meat. .

Elizabeth E.

Yelp
Fried chicken can be done great or wrong there is no in-between. Crispy, well seasoned, juicy but cooked through meat is the desired outcome. Bok a Bok does an excellent job of making sure their Fried chicken is done great. Fried to perfection and seasoned well! The Dirty Bird sandwich is yummy. Brioche bun, dill pickles, ketchup with a side of cheese sauce and a fried boneless thigh. I asked for the fries to be extra crispy as I'm not a fan of floppy fries and they were cooked to perfection. Cheese sauce was good and I utilized to dunk my fries in.

Edmel R.

Yelp
First time at Bok a Bok! I had to look at previous reviews and instagram reviews for the best foods on their menu. Though, when you get there at the White Center Bok a Bok, they have a suggestion at the counter for all their best foods! So if you're indecisive, much like myself, I would go with their best things on the menu. The dirty fries comes in tots and over rice. My preference is with the fries! My cousins got the tots and rice, which all hits the same. The salt and vinegar wings came in a dry rub with pickles over it. Not my favorite combo, but it works, though I would take them out. I would definitely go back for those dirty fries!

Ellen C.

Yelp
I'd give this place a 3.5 - not quite a 3, not quite a 4. I thought the food was good (the asian fried chicken taste), but in the end I wasn't really satisfied with my meal. It was expensive for what I was getting. We ordered plain tots, 10 piece dry chicken wings, a chicken sandwich, and a biscuit. Thankfully I had a 30% pickup coupon from DoorDash, otherwise I would not have ordered so much (and was still shocked at the total). As a chain I thought it would've been cheaper, so I thought the quality would be much much better than what you would expect from a Popeyes or a Chick-fil-a. The quality of the chicken sandwich was on the lower side; you can definitely get a better chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-a, and for much cheaper. While the quality was lacking, the flavor was there. The 10 piece dry wings were pretty good, but lacked any unique flavor. Understandably, this is the way asians fry their chicken and I didn't feel greasy eating it afterwards. Biscuits were also lacking in flavor unfortunately. The location was a bit sketchy as well. Overall I would only come back if there were some sort of promotional offerings, and would only order their fried chicken (no chicken sandwiches). The tots were cooked fantastically, though I have never had complaints with anyone's tots ever.

Yelp
Absolute garbage. Took over 45 minutes to get the food "due to wifi issues" when we just ordered in person. No seating. Food is mediocre. Do yourself a favor and eat at the Mexican food truck next door.

Yelp
Quite a drive from the city but worth it if you are looking for some crispy juicy chicken! Ordered the 15 piece with two sauces, Korean and soy garlic. Both were delicious and a must try. The fries were solid as well, crispy and nicely seasoned. The place is pretty small with limited seating but it wasn't too busy at the time we went. Parking is limited and we had to parallel park across the street. Would come back if I'm ever in Seattle again!

Yelp
I have really missed Korean Fried Chicken since leaving CA, so I was excited to here there was a place in White Center that had it! This cute little spot serves up some tasty tasty fried KFC. In addition to fried chicken, they also have chicken sandwiches and rice bowls and sides like tater tots and kimchi mac n cheese on the menu. For my first visit, I decided to order the two pieces of drumsticks plus the rice bowl. You order at the little window. The girl who took my order was really friendly. It wasn't terribly busy there and I got my food in less than ten minutes. The verdict: the fried chicken was good! Not as good as KFC places in CA though. The outside was crispy and light at the same time. But you have to dip in the sauces they give you for flavor. The rice bowl however was a no go. I would definitely skip this in the future. It's just a rice bowl with kimchi, cubed radish, and an egg. I guess it was nice to have some rice and kimchi to go with my chicken, but the kimchi itself was just whatever and the bowl itself was kinda plain. The fried chicken is good so definitely get that. The space is small - it's got a few tables, but takeout is definitely a good option (pro tip: take your KFC to go to nearby Beer Star that's less than a block away and eat it there with a nice cold draft beer!). You can also place your order online. The place is also really cute - their logo is of a cute chicken head and it's all over the restroom too. They have free stickers too! I'll definitely come back for more fried chicken and to try some of the other stuff on the menu, like the fun sides!

Yelp
The place is pretty small. When we came on a Saturday afternoon, there were 2 tables other than us. A guy would take your order at the walk-up window then you seat yourself. He was friendly, he would try to strike up conversations with you to try to get to know you when you place your order. The service was fast, we didn't wait that long for our food. I ordered the hearty green salad which was good and I did enjoy, and my sister ordered the kimchi mac 'n cheese and said it tasted average. We shared the korean chicken strips and tater tots, both also tasted pretty standard and relied mainly on the dipping sauce of your choice since the chili salt powder on top is just a sprinkle and doesn't add flavor to the strips and tots. For the sauce, we got the sesame soy garlic & korean bbq ranch sauces. We were not a fan of the bbq ranch, but the sesame soy garlic sauce tastes pretty good. Overall I think the tots and strips can use more salt or seasoning for flavor. Parking was easy, there's plenty of street parking.

Yelp
Lots to like here. First and foremost, the fried chicken is *really* crispy. Both the chicken on my sandwich and the dry wings were exactly as I had hoped... Ultra crispy. On the downside, both my sandwich and 'dirty' tots were quite soggy. For the sandwich, simply toasting the bun longer would help with this. For the tots, next time I'll ask for the sauce on the side. Overall, quite good for easy takeout.

Yelp
Chicken drums and spicy chicken sandwich are pretty good. Sandwich bun was totally soggy so it was a fork and knife effort. The Kimchi MAC-n-cheese was bland. Velveta type sauce. Fries were soggy and not spicy as advertised. Quite frankly, the chicken at the Popeyes a block away is better.

Yelp
Whether it's pick-up or Uber eats, it's gonna be the same experience! The food is so delicious, packed with flavor, and somehow comfort food without the slug afterwards. I order the wings and Mac and Cheese. The wings are so crispy and big, you will be surprised! Also their sauces are so good! I recommend the soy ginger. Chefs kiss! I want to thank the staff for the smileys faces and exclamations you leave on the bags. Makes my day

Yelp
Was craving delicious chicken so we ordered from this location via DoorDash for delivery. Unfortunately there was a driver issue and DoorDash canceled our order at the last minute. The location had closed before the order was picked up. I contacted the restaurant quickly to see if we could just go pick up ourselves. They were so helpful and asked the staff to kindly wait a few minutes after closing for us to go and pick it up. We rushed down there and got our order. They even went the extra mile to make our meal better, throwing in a few extras because of the trouble and wait. It was above and beyond what was expected, considering it wasn't their fault at all. Thank you Bok a bok, and thanks to your sweet staff for coming to the rescue of two hungry patrons!!! We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Went here on the recommendation of a friend and while the staff was nice as can be, and I appreciated the non-conventional takes on dishes, the end result wasnt so hot. Ordered the OG chicken strips with a few sauces. Kim hi Mac an cheese and the biscuit. Too much food for one person (Especially because the strips are BIG!) but I wanted to try a little of everything. Chicken was passable though the breading was really hard and crunchy. I liked the soy dipping sauce but overall found the coating to be too tough and overbearing. Kim hi Mac and cheese was HEAVY and just made me feel like I was going to get sick off it after a few bites. I threw it out. The biscuit was passable but not flaky, buttery or anything to write home about. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly so 5 stars there. The handle of the box they gave me for takeaway broke after 20 steps so that was annoying too. Overall, there are better chicken options.

Yelp
Bok a Bok has been recommended to me on a couple occasions and figured I'd give it a try! My husband and I ordered two sandwiches - the new classic and the sesame soy garlic. We shared a kimchi mac. We ordered ahead through Yelp and were a few minutes late, so keeping in mind it may have not been super fresh, we were still a little disappointed. Our order was ready when we arrived which was great. The employee was gracefully dealing with a customer who asked a million questions. The sandwiches had pretty good flavor and the meat was cooked well! Not too fatty and the batter was crispy and tasty. We were disappointed that sandwiches were both slathered in sauce, though, to the point that it was overpowering. My sesame soy garlic sandwich had lemon aioli, which tasted good but really overpowered all the other flavors. I wanted the sesame and garlic flavors to come out more. I'd suggest asking for light sauce on the sandwiches to avoid this issue! The kimchi mac was super heavy and we realized were not a fan of this trend (love kimchi and mac but not the combination!). It didn't have that satisfying cheesiness we wanted. It started out good but as we kept eating, we weren't fans. I'd say that this place is pretty good with kind service, and I'd come back to try the wings, but will stick to places like ma'ono for a chicken sandwich!

Yelp
Service was kind and helpful for us being first time customers. A short wait. Food was plenty and flavorful. Great quality.

Yelp
Honestly, PASSS. Got half way through the classic chicken sandwich before I started gagging. Sweet sweet pickles with a fried chicken thigh? Chicken thigh is already really greasy and then it's battered and dipped in oil. Idk what it was but my body was just like nah. Being from LA I've had quite a few amazing chicken sandwiches in my day. It's a safe bet, always a great choice. Idk what went wrong with their version but it's gonna be a NO for me. Never going back. I think it's because the chicken seems to be battered rather than like coated in flour or dry rub. Idk. Just can't bring myself to eat here again. The meat felt slimey and greasy and I couldn't even finish it.

Yelp
Great service and amazing food! Came here because of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and it definitely lived up to the hype. We ordered the Bowl of Shame (minus the poached egg and Chile sauce on the side. I'm not an egg fan.) We were immediately greeted upon entry and given a menu to review. We waited about 5 mins and our food was ready. It was very flavorful and unique. Being from Florida I haven't run into anything like this!!

Yelp
Came here after seeing the downtown location on Triple D! There was a bit of a line but nothing too bad. I like the interior of this place. Definitely lives up to the name. I decided to get the crispy chicken wings, kimchi mac & cheese and the dirty tots. The chicken was super crispy. But the flavor was bland like they forgot to season them. I didn't get any sauce for my wings so that's probably why. The dirty tots were scrumptious and the kimchi mac & cheese was delicious as hell. I never even knew how much I loved kimchi mac & cheese but now I'm all about it. The lady said that the downtown location is a little different so I will definitely try the downtown location also. All in all I would say my first time here was pretty good.
