"What started out in 2011 inside a former chicken hatchery in the River Arts District is now a growing regional chain. The best of the locations is the White Duck that operates out of a quonset hut that sits on the French Broad River. It’s not just about this park-like ambience: White Duck’s tacos are endlessly creative and unique, like the Carolina barbecue, shrimp and grits, and, of course, duck with mole." - Eric Barton

Google
Awesome experience! They had so many different options to choose from. It was hard to make a choice. I had the Shrimp and General Taos Chicken tacos. My husband got a Pork Belly (his favorite) the Steak and Cheese and a Buffalo Chicken. The staff were super awesome. The place was clean, the food comes out quickly.

First time in, and it didn’t disappoint! There were four of us, and everyone loved their tacos. Two tacos was the perfect amount, and we also snacked a little on the chips and salsa before our order came out. We had already started eating the chips and salsa before I snapped the picture, so I apologize that it’s not a good representation of what you get when they bring it to the table. Both salsas were good, and I don’t remember what the sauce in the middle was. I had the steak and cheese and the kid’s chicken taco (the woman who took my order said there wasn’t an adult version, but that it was the same size as the others, so she gave it to me). Great food, great service, wonderful seating area in the back with an artistic wall to talk about! Would definitely recommend!

Google
Cool, eclectic taco joint that serves margaritas and mixed drinks. Inside has a good size dining area with about 12, four top tables. The menu was quite extensive, so if it's your first time, it takes a while to absorb it. In fact, we let a few people go in front of us as we pondered the menu. The tacos were fantastic I had steak, barbacoa, and pork. Very tasty! We also ordered their house margarita which was extremely and we good. The outdoor seating area is huge. And the big plus is it sits right above the French Broad river.

This was a go-to spot for my hubby when he lived in Asheville. It was definitely a highlight and worth trying. We got cheese dip and the salsa trio. The salsa was good, but the creamy one was less of a salsa and more of a sauce. It was not really something I would normally eat with chips. The cheese dip was good. My margarita was also good. Tacos: We got black bean, steak, chicken tikka masala, fish, and pork belly tacos. They were all great! They have some really creative taco flavors, and I did not dislike that. My only complaints are that it was very crowded, and they do not take that into account. Some places stop taking line orders if there are no seats. They will just hold the line for a while. White Duck did not do that. We had nowhere to sit and kind of had to stand around, then were lucky enough to get to join another couple at a table. Also, it was freezing, and the bathrooms are outside, and also cold. Overall, we really enjoyed White Duck. My husband has many times, but me for the first time. The next time we are in Asheville, we will be back!

Google
Best tacos I've eaten. There was a huge line when we arrived, but worth the wait. The line went fairly fast and food was quick to be delivered too. There was a large parking lot, which was needed given how busy it was, but enough spaces to park. We had the mole duck, pork belly, fish, and gyro and don't have anything bad to say about any of them. The pork belly was delicious and was given good reviews for a reason. Glad they still had some when we went. Also loved it was dog friendly, including while waiting in line.

Stephanie

Google
Very unique taco options. We tried several and everything was delicious. Our favorites were the general tsos and the tuna Tokyo. The pickled watermelon rine on the pork belly taco was surprisingly good. Would def go back

Google
Really enjoyed my first meal at White Duck Tacos. The variety of flavors on the menu is wonderful, they really have options for everyone. And the location is really nice, to sit outside and eat by the river. Good quality meal, not too expensive and the food came out quick! Will definitely be returning to White Duck.

Google
Came after a recommendation from a friend. So glad we did. The best fusion tacos we have ever had! Service was friendly and the staff recommendation of crispy pork belly taco was outstanding! Atmosphere is cool with indoor and outdoor seating. Glad we came a little early as the line was out the door when we left.

Molly W.

Yelp
Definitely recommend this taco shop!! This location is so nice next to the river and has a ton of picnic tables. The line for tacos was out the door but there was still seating out back. It was impressive how quickly the line moved and how quickly we got our food after that. Service is super efficient. We wanted to taste a bunch of them so we got 7 between the both of us and had different thoughts. Here are the 7 we got: lamb gyro, general tso, chicken tikka masala, thai peanut chicken, crispy pork belly, duck mole, and Korean beef bulgogi. My friends top 2- duck mole & Korean beef My top 2- Korean beef & lamb gyro (pork belly a close 3rd!) My friends least favorite- tikka masala My least favorite- thai peanut Overall the unique take on tacos here is so fun. Like a spicy tikka masala taco?! Say less. Everything was good here and I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Huge fan of White Duck taco. I've been trying to make a stop anytime in passing near Asheville. While I know they have 3 locations in Asheville, I seem to only go to the Riverside one. Which has awesome outdoor seating. Their tacos are serious fire, some of the best and most unique ones you can find. My last stop there, I got 3 tacos in all, the fish, the steak and cheese, and crispy pork belly. While they are all super amazing in their own right. I always eat the pork belly one last, because this taco rates a 20 out of 10. The pickled watermelon is surprisingly good (I actually don't like watermelon) and the sauce pairs perfectly with the pork belly. You need this taco in your belly. I've not had a taco there I didn't love, so go find your favorite. I'm absolutely a huge fan of this place. Trying to plan my next Asheville trip just for tacos.

Kelly C.

Yelp
Only need to say two things here: The soft shell crab seasonal taco was da bomb. The flan was the best flan I've had in a long time. Bonus: they serve beer. Cheers!

Kristen T.

Yelp
You HAVE to go to white duck taco shop if you haven't been before. It is one of our favorite stops in Asheville every single time. They have the best variety of tacos and they are delicious. We always get a whole bunch and share them so we can try different ones. My absolute favorite is the pork belly taco and it's one we each get our own of because we don't want to share. It's that good. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Can't wait to be back in town so we can have some more.

Lauren H.

Yelp
What a delicious little taco spot!! They had such fun mixes like tikka masala and lamb gyro tacos. I don't think they have a taco that is bad. I got the steak and cheese taco, and it definitely goes beyond your normal steak and cheese. Definitely one of the best I've ever had. The black bean taco was good, but nothing to write home about. I tried the coconut lime margarita, and wow! It was so flavorful, while simultaneously being refreshing and overall delicious. I could have one of those every day and be happy. There was also a frozen cheerwine I wish I could have tried. The line - when we arrived, the line was out the door and into the parking lot. Granted, it was Friday around lunchtime. That being said the line moves very quickly. I saw people get their food 5 to 10 minutes after ordering. Our food came out about five minutes after ordering. This spot is by the river, and I can see it being really beautiful in the summertime, when I visited, the trees were still dead, so it was a little dreary. Parking - although there is plenty of parking, it is in a gravel lot that has lots of potholes, the parking lot is at a slant as well, so if you have a lower car, be wary entering an exiting. Overall: I get why this place is popular. I would come back and try more of their unique tacos.

Doretta W.

Yelp
Gotta try a place with sangria as a drink and watermelon as a dessert. Great lunch .. fast, good prices, good food. The parking lot is .. well, rough as it is dirt and rock. Go inside. Order in line. They give you a number, so grab a seat inside or out. Outside is a great view by the river if the day is nice. We tried the General Tso, Thai chicken, and the Baja shrimp along with the homemade queso and chips. Do not skip the queso! Loved the flavor. The first two tacos were really good ... chicken was cooked perfectly, and the favors were great together. Peanut sauce was yummy! We could have skipped the shrimp taco .. did not care for the flavor mix.

Baylee W.

Yelp
Amazing!! Wide range of tacos with such unique options. Our food came out super fast we didn't even sit down yet and our food was ready. You can have the choice of sitting outside in the shade or inside in the air conditioning. Our tacos were loaded up and had a generous serving of meat on them. We got a mix of tacos. My friend got the Peanut Pad Thai Taco, Crispy Pork Belly Taco, and Korean Beef Bulgogi. She said they were all fantastic but her favorite was the Peanut Pad Thai taco. I got the Lamb Gyro Taco, Fish Taco, and General Tso's Taco. They were all good but I would say the Fish Taco was my favorite. The Lamb Gyro Taco is refreshing and the General tso's Taco is crispy.

Suzanne W.

Yelp
another visit to place that you might pass up but don't .. the tacos are amazing and taste. Plenty of parking and great view by the river

Kevin B.

Yelp
Upfront and honest these tacos may have been some of the best I've ever had, and that's including a lot of San Diego places I went on my honeymoon. Stopped by for lunch on an off Monday as this place gets packed on the weekends. Wife and I each got a drink, 2 tacos and the chips and salsa trio. I got a house margarita, wasn't bad, little above average, however my wife didn't like her Coconut Lime Margarita, tasted too sweet and artificial. The chips and salsa came with 3 different house made salsa, a creamy sriracha I believe and a mild and slightly spicy one, enjoyed them all. My favorite taco I got was the Lamb Gyro one, big piece of lamb topped with feta cheese, tomatoes and cucumber, my BBQ carnitas one was exceptional as well. They also have a tell them if you like spicy option which I took up, they give you a cup of salsa which has jalapeño, habanero and another pepper i forgot to put on your food, simply loved it. My wife's tacos were beef bulgogi and general tsao's. She like the general tsao's a little better as she wasn't fond of the kimchi on the bulgogi. Place has a plethora of seating inside and picnic tables outside right on the river, just a gorgeous ambiance. This is a must hit destination in Asheville.

Yelp
I don't understand the high reviews. Service was good and I really liked the outdoor area, but the tacos just weren't it unfortunately. I'm all for creative combos, but some of these just made no sense. The duck taco could have been great. Duck itself was tender and had potential, but had no flavor. They added pear and cranberries which simply didn't go... Shrimp taco also had potential but was a miss. Too much aioli. Overall too sweet. The "curried cucumbers" had a strong artificial maple flavor. My friends also didn't enjoy their tacos.

J E.

Yelp
While in town for business, several of us stopped in for a working lunch... This place gets crazy busy at lunch time!! We were fortunate to not have to wait very long and we sat outside, as the weather was beautiful. They definitely have ample seating, but they only have 2 restrooms, both outside. The menu is interesting... it's a taco joint, but only a few items were Mexican in nature, most everything was a different ethnicity put into a taco shell. I got their Chicken Tikka taco which had nice flavor and their Japanese shrimp taco which was also flavored quite nicely.... But these could have easily been any other format, such as wraps or served over rice or something. So, I'm not quite sure of this trend to put stuff in a small tortilla and call it a taco. Their salsa were EXCELLENT though! The staff was quick and very friendly too.

Chloe T.

Yelp
Got a full spread. Between all of us we had the gyro taco, fish taco, steak taco, falafel taco, and bbq carnitas tacos, salsa trio, and queso. We would get all of those things again besides the salsa (not because it was bad, but just because it was our least favorite) Highly recommend the gyro taco and the falafel tacos! The guy who took our order was totally fine, but I asked the 2 bus people for bags for our leftovers and you would have thought I was asking for their 1st born child. Overall a good place to take your kids. Food was good, ambiance was chill, service was a 50/50 shot.

Rachel K.

Yelp
A food highlight of our trip to Asheville! This place is highly recommended, and for good reason. It had expansive outdoor seating down by the river, which made for a great place to eat. They had some lawn games as well. Inside they served everything up quickly. I ordered the black beans and cheese taco, as well as the chicken tikka masala taco. Both were absolutely delicious! They come with lots of fillings and two tortillas, so it's basically two tacos once half the filling falls out into your second tortilla haha. So worth it!

Molly M.

Yelp
It's over rated in my opinion. I prefer street tacos that are simple. This is a bunch of bedazzled tacos

Madison T.

Yelp
Delicious taco joint along the French broad river in west Asheville. Plenty of outdoor seating, as well as inside. Great flavor profiles, and a wide variety of food and drinks. I always order the chips and queso, along with the thai peanut chicken and Bangkok shrimp taco. Staff is friendly and service is always excellent. Plenty of parking.

Gloria G.

Yelp
Was a perfect stop on our way back home. Right off the highway, large parking lot (fit our RV) and we could bring our dogs. Beautiful spot along the river. Taco variation was nice!

Amy H.

Yelp
AMAZING a La Carte tacos. Best I've ever had and quite a unique spread. My recommendations are the Pork Belly, Duck, Korean Bulgogi (beware, the Kim Chi has quite a spicy kick to it though delicious) and the BBQ Carnitas. Extremely quick service in a cute eclectic restaurant. 10/10 would recommend, it was delicious!!

Dave W.

Yelp
This is a great place! The food was really good, I had fish taco and BBQ carnitas taco, both were very flavorful (see pic). The BBQ carnitas taco was my favorite. Went with several buddies after hiking. They had shrimp tacos and enjoyed them as well. Fountain drinks are self service here. It was fine fall day and sitting outside near the river was perfect. Small area for indoor dining too. You order inside from big menu on the wall behind the counter. Long line but it moved swiftly. Friendly service at the counter. They give you number and you grab a table and wait for your order to arrive. The wait for our food was about 10 minutes, which is short for fresh great food. Enjoy!

Emily M.

Yelp
I've been here both times I've been through Asheville and it's definitely a go-to spot! This is great for groups because they have such a wide range of flavors, options, and build your own. Chips and salsa is one of my very favorite snacks and theirs are top-notch! Definitely sit outside if you can, they have a nice patio area. It can get crowded at prime meal times but service is quick and friendly, prices are fair and the food is good quality. Very central location with lots of stores to explore before/after.

Lucy C.

Yelp
The White Duck's Chicken Tikka Masala Taco is the best taco in existence, and I will die on that hill. The service is incredible with complimenting and kind staff that move quickly, the ambiance and outdoor seating is wonderful, spacious, dog friendly, kid friendly and unique, and I think about this taco WAYYYYYY too much. I got it last year and have since not forgotten it. I was so glad to visit Asheville again and re order it- smoky, spicy, and creamy and crunchy, a completely balanced taco that is the epitome of gastronomic joy. Please please please come here! You will NOT regret it! Already counting the days until we return to Asheville and I can eat my beloved taco once more

Jasmine H.

Yelp
Came here after seeing all the great reviews. This place is solid, not authentic tacos but still good. The pork belly taco did blow me away. I also got the steak and cheese as well as the lamb gyro, the sauce on the gyro was odd but good. Would come back only for the pork belly

Marina L.

Yelp
Holy crap this was good!! My favorite was the pork belly with watermelon... wow. Tikka one was unique/ delicious too. Beautiful right next to the French broad river and easy parking!

Kimberly F.

Yelp
When we first arrived the line inside was quite long. However we got through quickly and it gave us enough time to peruse the menu. Not long after we were seated our food arrived! The flavors were spot on and each taco has something that added a crunch factor! Overall we enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend!

Gretchen R.

Yelp
Such a fun place! Excellent food and just so fun to sit at a picnic table watching the rafters drift by. Love this place on a beautiful summer day!!

Morgan H.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Super cute spot with great decorations, and it's right off the river. Staff is very friendly. $5 a taco, but I got 2 and felt pretty full. I recommend the Crispy Chicken BLT taco! My bf got the Boozy Cheerwine (w/ Rum) and really enjoyed it, overall great place!

Shelby D.

Yelp
Of all the locations in Asheville, we like this one the best. They have the beer bus outside, parking in general (looking at you, downtown), and the outdoor seating is great with kids and dogs. It also overlooks the river, so it's just nice to sit out there and hang out with your drinks and food. Always felt the service at this one was quicker and the food just tastes a bit better. My fav is the Thai peanut, give it a shot!

Matthew B.

Yelp
This gem was right across the street from my hotel so I stopped by for lunch. I could not have made a better call. I had the Thai peanut Chicken and the Pork Belly. They were so good! I'm sorry I'm leaving tomorrow because i wouild go back and try two or three more. Exceptional. This was the shop right in Downtown.

Hannah H.

Yelp
White duck is and always will be a classic Asheville staple. Some of the funkiest tacos around make for the most fun meals! I love their location on the river but downtown is also the true OG. There are so many options to choose from but the pork belly with pickled watermelon is one of the ones I have to order everytime I go. The Buffalo chicken, chicken tikka, and duck are also other classics! Don't sleep on their delicious sides and dips as well. Their queso and salsas are a delicious accompaniment!

Michael T.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place, unfortunately the food is just ok. Stopped here for a late lunch. We decided to order 8 different tacos and share. We ordered the following tacos: Thai peanut chicken: This was one decent, better than most but not great 3/5 Korean Beef bulgogi: flavor was pretty good. The kimchi was not overpowering. 4/5 Fish taco: this one was just ok 2/5 Steak and cheese: this one was just ok 2/5 Chicken tikka masala: This one was just ok, slightly better the others 3/4 Bangkok shrimp: this one was my favorite. Really liked the flavor and the shrimp was nice and crispy 4/5. Thai peanut chicken with jackfruit: Stepmother is vegetarian se we got these for her. You can substitute jackfruit in a few different tacos. This one was her favorite. 4/5 Chicken tikka masala with jackfruit: She did not like this one as much. 2/5 Pork belly: I really wanted to like this one but it was nothing special. The pork belly was not marinated or anything. 2/5 Service was good. You just order at the counter and they bring it out to you. I did ask a lot of questions about the different tacos and they were happy to help me decide what to order. The outdoor seating is really nice, great view of the river. That have cornhole you can play for free. Great place to go with a group and relax on a nice day. I would come not come back again.

Glenn K.

Yelp
Stumbled upon these truly unique tacos while traveling and it's above and beyond expectations! Vast selection of unique flavorful tacos. My favorites were the Duck tacos and the Pork belly, however, every darn taco I tasted was even better the the previous which was already outstanding! Can't wait to visit again! Where is Guy Fieri when ya need him!

Nicole V.

Yelp
YUMMY!! first time trying out white duck taco shop and it was delicious. I got their pork belly taco, steak taco, and fish taco with a House margarita and chips. The fish taco was definitely my favorite probably followed by the pork belly which I just picked up and ate (I felt like the tortilla was getting in the way lol). The steak taco was also tasty, I just preferred the others more!! The line wasn't too long when we got their, but eventually it went way out the door. There are a ton of seats inside and a buncccch of picnic tables outside if you want to enjoy the nice weather!!

Becca B.

Yelp
Tacos for under $5. Fresh salsa trio with tortilla chips for under $5. House-made queso dip with tortilla chips for under $5. Delicious sides such as fresh corn for under $5. Have I caught your attention?? White Duck Taco Shop is a popular spot in Asheville to enjoy unbelievably tasty tacos with unique flavors such as chicken tikki masala, Bangkok shrimp, lamb gyro, Korean beef Bulgogi, Bahn Mi tofu, tuna Tokyo, and MORE! Try one of their cold margaritas or sangrias while you are there as well! There is plenty of seating indoors as well as outside next to the river. The food is delicious and the scenery is beautiful! There are even outdoor games such as corn-hole. This is a great spot to visit on a date, with friends, or with your family (kiddos included). Highly recommend checking this spot out!

Nick B.

Yelp
The problem I ran into in Asheville is, I suspect, a common one. I didn't have a lot of time there, and there were a lot of interesting restaurants to consider trying, but the White Duck kept showing up on lists and recommendations from locals, so I went for some tacos and a beer, and I can see why the place is so renowned. Great service, good value, some interesting and unconventional taco ideas, and some classics. The shop is simply furnished, it isn't a place to linger for "ambiance", but everyone's friendly enough you may just decide you need a second round.

Kim N.

Yelp
This restaurant popped up while I was searching for good tacos for lunch and it has very high ratings so I had to check it out. Honestly, after trying a few, I did not like any of them personally. But my family like a couple of them. However, none of us felt impressed and we're not interested in going back here (sorry, just not for us). Even the pork belly one (the most popular based on the server's suggestions) was not specially good either and we were surprised the pork belly came as a whole piece. The cashier/waiter was enthusiastic to suggest us what's good to choose. What's I like most over here is the outdoor seating area. It is by the river. And the indoor decor looks really cool. Plus, there's plenty of parking spots.

Ngan N.

Yelp
This is a casual place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Love the outdoor seating. The river is right next to us, made me feel like we're camping. Very relaxing and great place to spend time with friends and family. Ordered 6 different tacos ($4.85 each). We wanted to try pork belly tacos but it's sold out. You probably need to get there early lunch time ~12PM to get them. We got there at 3PM. You can replace meat with jackfruit and you have vegetarian options. - Steak and cheese taco - Peanut chicken taco - Fish taco - Bangkok shrimps taco - Tikka masala taco - Korean beef bulgogi They are medium size tacos so decent size but flavors are a bit disappointing. Not flavorful. The only one that stood out to me is shrimp taco. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Other than that we didn't interact much with anyone else.

Andrew K.

Yelp
This place rocks! These tacos are so unusual! Have one of several! Also, the chips and queso are very good. Solid service from the team.

Kimberly N.

Yelp
When we knew we were going to be spending a few days in Asheville, one source for food suggestions for us happened to be the "Not The New York Times Cooking Community" on Facebook. A mom was coincidentally bringing her son to Asheville a few days ago for a little getaway and asked for recommendations. So many folks recommended White Duck Taco Shop, we had it at the top of our list! This evening, we we had our opportunity to come here after spending a day walking around the River Arts District and all three of us loved it! The friendly gal at the counter said the Bangkok Shrimp tacos were the overall favorite here so both my daughter and I chose that one. My daughter also had the Banh Mi Tofu (her favorite) while I had the Fish, and my husband had a Chicken Tikka and the Black Bean. The tacos were $4.85 each. For sides, we shared a Chips and Queso and the Green Chili Black Beans. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and delicious! It's clearly a local favorite because it got very crowded right after we arrived! If we ever come through Asheville in the future, we would definitely make a stop here again!

Holly D.

Yelp
Fun stop on the way to The Guitar Bar- hubs got the Gyro taco, friend got buffalo chicken and I got the Bugolgi. Also had to have the chipotle grits. They were my favorite! My taco was loaded with meat and had tons of flavor. Great concept for an Art District. There must have been 20 varieties including vegan options. Beer and wine also and a great outdoor dining area right by the creek. Service was as quick as it could be as the line goes out the door. Another find thai I would Love to see in Melbourne.

Leslie R.

Yelp
We came here because it is pet friendly which is great! We grabbed a drink that was real good and a few tacos and chips and salsa. Wasn't a fan of chips and salsa. There tacos were very unique but ok.

Asma A.

Yelp
Everyone told me this is a must eat taco spot, and boy was I disappointed! Feels like they just put the ingredients together but it didn't mix well. I took those same people that recommended this place to another taco spot and they changed their mind as to what a good taco should taste like! Never coming back!

Joy B.

Yelp
The service was really fast. It was a pretty warm day. Inside ordering was a bit of a wait but it gave us time to look at the menu and make decisions. It is one taco. We had to ask to see if we can share if it was more than one. We sat outside by the river. Very chill. Food came out so quick and the flavors for the mole duck was a flavor profile I hardly get but I'm glad I did. The apples really hit the spot on that one. The pork belly taco had some grapes in it along with watermelon I loved it. Will be back again

Jenny Z.

Yelp
Heard this was a must-stop and I'm so glad we did! Stopped for lunch on a roadtrip and loved it. There is a bunch of seating inside and out. Outside seating is right along the river and I'm sure so fun in the summertime. We came in December but it was surprisingly good weather that day so we got a dosage of sun and short sleeve weather as we waited in the bathroom line lol. It's a casual, order-at-the-counter restaurant and the food is phenomenal! We ordered a huge spread. Creole shrimp and grits, lamb gyro, Bahn mi tofu, Thai peanut chicken, Bangkok shrimp, Steak and cheese. Out of those I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits taco (unique)! I did not care for the banh mi tofu since the tofu was cold. Flavors were all really good but prefer my taco warm. We also tried the chipotle cheese grits which were super tasty.

Sujin J.

Yelp
This place doesn't need good reviews for the sake of the restaurant but for the sake of the Yelp eaters who are always on the hunt for good food, good times, and good company!!! You cannot go wrong to order any taco here since everyone around the table ordered different things and they all loved their food. I had to try pork belly taco because I have never tried pork belly with watermelon rind pickle (technically half rind and half watermelon flesh). They go well together and the creamy green sauce that lines the taco was delightful. The only surprise was the pork belly had a lot of fat and mainly fat:) Cooked to perfection and there is variation on meat and fat ratio that is so prevalent that it is hard to expect what to get. I am used to half meat and half fat marbled version so it was a little surprise but I am sure it is what is expected for connoisseurs out here for it to be legit pork belly. I am glad to have tried this taco so I would not forever wonder about how it would taste and it was very good and refreshing! Just know what kind of pork belly you are getting (biting) into! My husband loved the tofu Bahn mi tacos. Lots of seating outside and they process the order very quickly:) Will definitely come back here the next time we are in Asheville, hopefully soon!!!

Daniel J.

Yelp
This is always a favorite of mine. Great food and you can sit right by the river. The house margaritas are great. I haven't had a taco here yet that I don't love!

kira i.

Yelp
This taco shop provided a unique and fresh vibe to the taco scene. All of the menu items looked amazing. The general tsos taco was my absolute favorite and I have been dreaming of it ever since we left the place. ABSOLUTELY recommend, you are missing out on the best food in Asheville if you don't come here!

Yelp
The selection and uniqueness of the tacos was SUPREME! You buy each taco independently so you can mix and match whichever way you want! I was in HEAVEN!!!! I couldn't choose just 3 so I got FIVE and they were all amazing! The workers were polite and the tacos came out ALOT more quickly than I thought they would! 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
If you want some funky taco options, this is the place to try! I've been to the other location a couple of times but this one has way more outdoor seating. The tacos were amazing. I got a spicy buffalo chicken and a fish. They were both tasty but I liked the fish one more. I also had a frozen coconut margarita that was great! There was plenty of places to sit inside and outside and the line moves pretty quickly, so don't let the line out of the door scare you. Quick service and outdoor games were available too!

Yelp
Such a great taco place. Food was delightful and environment was also great! Steak and cheese taco is a for sure must.

Yelp
Tacos had good portions but I wish they'd asked about what tortillas because it doesn't specify on menu. Also when you pay the waiter asks if you want to leave a tip and there's no visual-- that always bothers me because it feels like you don't have a choice in what you tip and can't see your bill.

Yelp
Great food! We went to the River arts district location. The line was long, but moved quickly. A long line doesn't deter us - we figure people are waiting for a reason! We ordered chips and queso, chips and salsa, a thai chicken taco and street corn salad (me) and the duck molé taco, and jerk chicken taco (hubby). The queso is amazing. The salsas were also top notch. I didn't love the Smokey flavor of the red salsa, but hubby did. My Thai chicken taco was amazing. Great combo of tropical salsa (mango, cucumbers), cabbage, chicken and peanut sauce. I did not care for the street corn salad at all - it was missing a creamy element. Hubby didn't care for the duck molé taco.... It was too sweet for him, and not what he was expecting (he said it tasted like Christmas - the cranberries & apple I assume), but he did absolutely love his jerk chicken one. He was surprised that both were sweet, with no spice. There was a note saying to ask if you liked things spicy, but we assumed there would be a mild spice to at least the jerk chicken... but there wasn't. Overall, 4 stars. We didn't do our usual "What's the best thing on the menu" that we normally do. I would, 100% order the Thai chicken taco again. Hubby said he would try the crispy pork belly taco, and ask for recommendations. We would happily eat there again and recommend it! We plan to bring our other kids back this fall - we know they would LOVE the entire experience. Great atmosphere for groups, and for just relaxing. Music was a bit loud inside - but there's tons of outdoor seating!
