The 15 Best Restaurants In Aspen

"At the Aspen outpost of Hillstone Restaurant Group, you’ll find all of your familiar favorites from sister restaurants like Houston’s, R+D Kitchen, Honor Bar, and more. That might explain why the line outside of this miner’s cottage-turned-bistro starts before it opens for lunch every day. Get there 10 minutes before they open to secure a seat for the crispy chicken torta with swiss, tomato, and spicy slaw and some sides like fries and creamed corn for the table. You might be able to squeeze into the lively bar a little later on, but the best seats are by the central brick fireplace." - katie shapiro

The 21 Essential Aspen Restaurants

"You can’t go wrong at a Hillstone Restaurant Group restaurant, praised by Bon Appetit in 2016 as the owners of “America’s favorite restaurant.” Since opening almost a decade ago in a historic miner’s cottage built in 1883, the always-busy White House Tavern has cranked out classics on a short-and-sweet menu. Go for the Macho Salad, Honor Burger, or crispy chicken sandwich." - Katie Shapiro

Fantastic restaurant. Food tasted great. Worth the long wait for a table (over an hour for a party of 4), especially if you have other things to do around Aspen. The kids loved the food. Plenty of other families with kids dined around us. The menu had just the right level of sophistication that elevated it beyond the simplicity but still allowed it to be done well without alienating the kids. Service was attentive and allowed accommodation for food allergy. Sitting on the patio near the road has its disadvantages. Noise from the cars and motorcycles passing by often distracted from the atmosphere. But on a sunny afternoon I would still recommend sitting outside.

Such a wonderful spot in Aspen. Sat at the bar for a quick no-wait dinner. Staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Very… *Aspen* crowd of customers. GREAT crispy chicken sandwich and cocktails. Did try to come mid week with more people and there was an hour+ wait for lunch. Excellent staff: Lawson(?) Larson(?) … bad at remembering your name sorry! Took care of me at the bar. Hope your wedding in 3 weeks is amazing:)

Google
Excellent lunch here on almost all levels. Our two salads were creative and perfectly executed, as was my cocktail. Servers were super friendly, and the atmosphere was beautiful! Only downside was the slooooow service. My husband ordered a 2nd beer halfway through his meal, but it took so long to come out we had finished by the time it arrived. They did comp it (we only had time to drink 2 sips before we left), but beer should be super quick and they should put a rush on it when you're in the middle of your meal. Other than that, spot on, and we would for sure go back!

Google
Okay so the food was absolutely spectacular! Truly delicious! We tried a wonderful salad, the chicken meatballs and the crispy chicken sandwich. Only rating 4 stars because I was a liitle put off by the service. We were walking around Aspen prior to dining and purchased some cookies from a nearby bakery and had them with us (packaged up in a box) My server Natasha greeted us by saying I needed to take them off the table or they’d come and make us throw them away. Certainly not the greeting we hoped for especially since they were clearly packaged up and sealed. My fiance and I were excited to try several different dishes but when we started by order two appetizers she quickly asked “is that all you’re going to share?” She just was not the most friendly or welcoming especially compared to the rest of the staff which was wonderful!

Google
My friends and I stopped by this place for lunch after a hike and the food was outstanding. The Macho Salad was amazing, and my friends enjoyed their sandwiches and fries. Our waitress Jessica was kind and attentive, and the bartender Covington was very sweet. 10/10, I recommend this place to anyone in the area! My friends and I are planning to come back sometime this summer!

Google
Maybe the best hamburger in Colorado. The place is jam packed in the bar. Seating is elbow to elbow, so it’s overly cozy. That being said, it was a great eatery.

Google
Traveling solo and randomly chose White House Tavern for lunch (mostly because it has the word Tavern in the name - ha!). My server was so friendly and I’m happy she suggested the French Dip which they are apparently famous for. It literally melted in my mouth. Best French Dip I’ve ever had.

Google
Excellent food, cozy atmosphere, great service. This place is a top-tier establishment and doesn’t disappoint. I’ve eaten at their sister restaurant in Palm Beach and it was just as good. The chicken sandwich and the meatballs are must haves, burger is excellent also.

Yelp
Three Words: Crispy Chicken Sandwich This sandwich so wonderful. I've had it during the summer and I've had it during the winter. No matter the season, this sandwich hits. The flavors do such a good job working with one another. The brioche torta-esque bun encases a fried chicken breast, lightly dressed kale slaw, Swiss cheese, and tomato slices! When it arrives, you'll plan on eating two of the three pieces it's cut into. However, as soon as you taste how good it is, I'm sure you'll have no problem finishing the third piece, just like I do every time!

Yelp
Trying to sum up my past 2 weeks in Aspen, and attempting to remember the good, the bad and the overall standouts. White House Tavern just left me completely underwhelmed, if not completely confused. Yes, it's a decent chicken sandwich and the prices are what you would expect from Aspen for said meal- but generous portions aside, from the moment I walked in to the minute my friends and I left, we just didn't get the hype. The staff was overly formal for such a casual setting and not a soul was smiling, there wasn't a good vibe amongst the service staff (who seemed like they were doing US a favor by taking care of us), the menu was tired and uninteresting, and it just seemed unnecessarily pretentious for someplace that was altogether meh.

Yelp
Another incredible Hillstone hit! We were lucky enough to walk in and grab 2 seats at the bar on a Thursday night about an hour before closing. This restaurant is very small, yet has the classic welcoming Hillstone feeling in a dimly lit and service-forward upscale restaurant. I got my classic girl dinner comprising of the Rotisserie Kale Salad and French fries. My coworker got the French dip--he said it was excellent.

Yelp
White House Tavern - Aspen We arrived at White House Tavern right when it opened at 11 AM and were lucky enough to snag a spot at the bar with football on the TVs. The restaurant filled up quickly, so arriving early is definitely a good idea. The space is small and cozy, with a warm atmosphere that makes it feel intimate and welcoming. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent. My boyfriend and I both agreed it was the best meal we've had in a long time. The chicken sandwich is absolutely unbelievable--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and a must-try. If you enjoy peanuts, the salad is another standout dish, with a unique and delicious combination of flavors. Overall, we highly recommend White House Tavern for its incredible food and great vibes. It's worth every bite!

Yelp
Favorite place to eat in Aspen. The Macho salad is so delicious, service is fast and the cocktails are great. Cute little house vibes too.

Yelp
Quick lunch with the fiancée after walking around Aspen. We were seated quickly, but it was freezing inside! I ordered the burger, and even though it was delicious, it got cold very quickly. Overall ok experience

Yelp
Cozy little spot. This is actually a Hillstone restaurant. The service was fantastic as you would expect. The food was great too. It is a small spot though so you may have to wait a few minutes for a table. Worth it!

Yelp
This place was packed. Even so, service was great. Server a little rusty since he's been gone awhile but he was polite and speedy. I have the Napoli pizza, anchovies, cheese and marinara sauce. Delish. Thin crust too. My 20 month grandson ate no stop. Plenty of choice beers. They have a bar where a couple can eat too. Parking can be tight in their lot but there's plenty of street to use. It fills up quickly at dinner time so make a reservation if you're more than 4 folks. You'll like this place and you'll be back. Enjoy

Yelp
Really great spot in downtown Aspen. We came by on a Thursday afternoon in the summer, and only had to wait a couple mins for an outside table. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Chicken sandwich was delicious and all the ingredients really put the sandwich together. The deviled eggs was really great, cooked perfect. Salad was also excellent.

Yelp
This is spot was our 2nd choice to eat and glad we ended up here. They accommodated our party of 6 and the service was great. We ordered the chicken sandwich ( I recommend) Along with fries and brussels sprouts that also hit the taste buds right. The spot is small inside but they also have patio outdoor seating with the village view. Great spot with great food
google avatar

Yelp
Eva is so kind and sweet. Very accommodating and helpful. Customer Service (Morgan) is excellent from check in follow up and follow through. Chips Duo is superb, Burger was fantastic and the Kale Salads were unbelievable

Yelp
They have a cute outdoor patio seating area and a dimly lit interior with pockets of tables here and there. There's also a wide bar counter area where you can watch the chefs do their thing. French dip au jus Thinly sliced roasted prime rib high high on a house made toasted French roll. Comes with creamy horseradish. This one really hit the spot. House smoke salmon comes with chef's dressing and toast but I feel that this was over smoked, leaving out any hint of the fish flavor. They do give you an ample supply of toasted bread slices. Crispy Chicken sandwich Housemaid torta, Swiss cheese, tomato, and spicy slaw. This was a good call - lots of savory action in each bite. Kale salad. Emerald kale, roasted peanut vinaigrette, fresh herbs. Generous portion and it's a lot of chewing - but good for you. Service is quick and polite, the food came pretty fast. That's all.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and the service was great. Everyone was very hospitable and the food was delicious. We had the fried chicken sandwich we really enjoy from Honor Bar in Beverly Hills and a kale salad. The ambience is really nice and cozy and the food is delicious Hillstone quality we know and love

Aeneas A.

Yelp
I ordered a chicken sandwich, and it was up there with one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. To top it off, the service was also great. I was seated within the first couple of minutes of arriving, and I was able to get my food within 10 minutes of ordering. I will definitely be going back here the next time that I am in Colorado!

Yelp
Was on a bachelorette trip this past weekend in Aspen and White House tavern is a must. Being from LA, the hillstone collection of restaurants from Honor Bar to Houston's have always been a safe bet and great time. My party of seven shared two orders of the kale salad with chicken (a must) along with two orders of the dip duo to share. I split the honor burger and the crispy chicken sandwich. The crispy chicken sandwich may be my death row meal. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a solid not overpriced meal in Aspen.

Yelp
Living in Orlando, this is a sister restaurant of Hillstone. It's one of the best burgers you are going to find anywhere and the chicken sandwich is crispy and delicious. With a small menu, all the ingredients are so fresh and the quality is consistent. Wasn't a big fan of the Brussels with the amount of lemon aioli and next time would start with the deviled eggs which are elite here!! Still wanted to highlight incase guests prefer more boiled over crispier Brussels. Note they do not take reservations so make sure to put your name in early as the restaurant is very small maybe only 15-25 tables and the wait times can get very long. Bar is open seating.
google avatar

Sinjini C.

Yelp
I recently dined at White House Tavern and had a mixed experience. We started with the deviled eggs, but were puzzled when they served us three slices for two people--how does that make sense? Portioning aside, the flavor was decent. For the mains, we ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which really hit home with some comforting nostalgia. The fish sandwich was also high quality, with fresh-tasting fish, though the slaw was on the dry side. Prices were fair given the area, which was a plus. However, it was noticeably hot inside for some reason, which made it a bit uncomfortable to fully enjoy the meal. Overall, some ups and downs, but the food was solid.

Yelp
So this was listed as a must got to spot but it just really wasn't for me or my family. My 3 year old ordered the kids grilled cheese and spit out his first bite. I thought he was being dramatic so I took a bite and sure enough that cheese tasted so off. Maybe I'm just not fancy enough, but that cheese tasted so gross. The burger I ordered was the waitresses go to burger but honestly, it wasn't all that. For the price point I just wouldn't come back here again. The menu is very limited and it's definitely more of a Adult scene. I do not recommend taking little ones or even teenagers here as the ambience calls for a more intimate and mature setting. The staff was absolutely amazing and the only reason I'm giving this three stars instead of one. Definitely won't be coming back here.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my best friends taught me you never listen to kids on the mountain & never call your last run. It's always bad luck. This was my first experience at @aspensnowmass, & I went out to hit the mountain bike park first, not the legendary bougie food & booze. It was my second time on a gondola half-way & first time in three seat wide Colorado chair lift to the very top. When I get off I couldn't see the greens, so I asked patrol where they were? His response, "dude, they are one level down, only blues & blacks up here!" Damn! Then this kid in full fox gear comes by, recommends the "French Press" blue saying it's a flowy-freeride, whatever that meant, & says it should be a green. I had two choices, I could man up & send it, or take the lift in fear back down. Fuck it. I sent it.    Winding through the soft dirt surrounded by endless gorgeous white aspen trees at higher and higher speeds made my heart burst with excitement. You could hear me screaming with joy as I road through the banks, not getting off the bike a single time as I cut and cornered each segment with better skill than before. It was the soul cleansing I desperately needed. There and back in a single day was a bit much, but that's me. It was the best park I've experienced so far, and can't wait to go back. Did I crash? Unfortunately, yes, my damn cleats got me again! Did I feast?     There was no way I was hitting Aspen without a celebratory burger and beer. I had to check out the legendary Whitehouse Tavern for their burger and deviled eggs. The burger, perfectly cooked, and one of the most unique and tasty set of eggs I've ever had capped off this epic day! I will be back!    P.S. The jar of pills is full of Advil and Aleeve. The perfect combination for all the pain that fitness causes, and the joy of the reward after.

Yelp
We went in for an early dinner and fortunately there wasn't a wait. One can see with the size of the seating area, why there would be a wait generally. For our appetizers we ordered the trout dip and chicken meatballs(because we were hungry). The dip was so good! The meatballs were fine as well but the trout was lick-able. It was nice to see the cooks in the center taking care of orders while diners were all around them. I had the jackrabbit for my drink and my husband had the margarita - both were very tasty but I would say on the pricey side for cocktails. I had the fish sandwich for dinner and it was a LOT of food but super good. My husband had the macho salad and liked it. My son's honor burger was huge and a bit sloppy and he could not finish it. Our server was the sweetest gal ever - eager to help you out in any way she could. Great food and atmosphere, but yes on the pricey side of dining out.
google avatar

Elle K.

Yelp
Everything we had here was amazing! Great place for lunch! My favorites were the crispy chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, and the fish dip. Must go if you are in Aspen! So good we ate here twice on our trip! Might be a little bit of a wait but service was friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
It was a nice surprise! Restaurant located at the corner of downtown aspen. Venue was small and cozy. The wait time was about one hour. To my surprise, wait time end up being 30 minutes as people we're canceling their reservations. The host was awesome! We more people coming and he was able to make to work on top of that, gave us outdoor seating! It was the perfect view looking at the mountains. Here's what we ordered::: Beef Au jus sandwich- delicious!! Served with savory Au jus sauce. Bread was nice and soft. Favorite dish! Trout dip- nice surprise! First time trying smoked trout especially in a dip. Chicken kale salad- great! Chicken tender and fresh kale mix in dressing. Chicken sandwich- deep fried chicken was thick. Definitely can share this dish. Cream of corn- the jalapeños was a nice touch! Definitely unique. Fries- standard All and all, we had a fantastic experience and service was excellent! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Great place fot cocktails and outdopr lunch The margarita should be on everyone's order fresh juice and awesome tequila. Our server Crystalei was awesome! She was friendly, helpful, and also gave us recommendations for dining and fun in Glenwood Springs

Yelp
Small but classy and the staff and food are amazing. Very busy and you should reserve a spot or you will have a long wait for lunch or supper. Celebrity sighting for us, we sat next to Steve Aoki the famous DJ. He is a very nice man and was accommodating to all the young people who wanted a selfie.

Zimmer W.

Yelp
Every time we visit Aspen we go to this restaurant first. Everything they cook is fantastic as are the servers and chefs as well as the hostess. Can't say enough good things about it. Always order fried chicken sandwich and macho salad. Absolutely superb

Yelp
Aspen is Spendy.....Period! White House Tavern is a lovely place not to blow the bank. Great cocktails, food and ambiance. We started inside with cocktails with a lovely bartender...thank you. Then were seated outside for a lovely meal. Service was great Food was delicious and well prepared. Would def come back

Brenda L.

Yelp
Great service the waiter was so sweet since it was our first time here she suggested the chicken sandwich it was delicious definitely recommend this place
google avatar

Claudia R.

Yelp
Love the place, the fact that it's the place everyone tells you it's a must do. We went, waited outside for 20 mins before they opened. It's a tiny place with outside sitting and heaters. Good vibe, great service, the food is super disappointing. I was shocked how bland it was. Good presentation but except for the fries, we didn't finish any of the 3 dishes we got.
google avatar

Alice Z.

Yelp
Had a really nice dinner here. I recommend coming early if you'd like to avoid waiting - we still waited about 15-20 mins for a patio table at 5pm (though I assume the wait is much longer if you come during peak dinner hours). Unfortunately they don't take reservations Tried the crispy chicken sandwich and creamed corn. So yummy! (Even the toppings for the sandwich were on point). Too bad we weren't hungrier - would have liked to try more on the menu They allow dogs on the patio, which was very convenient and comfortable
google avatar

Sumana K.

Yelp
We came here for a quick lunch around noon after visiting Maroon Bells on a Sunday. It was already packed with a few larger parties waiting but luckily, we were only two so they were able to seat us quickly. We ordered the deviled eggs and the kale salad with chicken - both were divine! My husband order the burger and had absolutely no complains. Definitely pricey but that's the Aspen normal. I will definitely be back! FYI- they don't take reservations
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
Great Sunday afternoon lunch staff was very friendly and the prime rib French dip was fantastic fries were good as well the wife had the chicken sandwich and she loved it a definite go to in aspen

Yelp
Had lunch on a Saturday in June after seeing it was well reviewed. But we were very disappointed. Put our names on the list around 11.30 and were told it would be an hour for an outside table as we had our dog with us. Came back an hour later and waited another half hour to be seated. The menu is extremely limited and did not reflect what I had seen online. Very few options for GF. I will say the outside patio was a very pleasant environment to sit and have a meal. Inside looked nice too when I went in to use the bathroom. Hubby ordered the French Dip which he was happy with, despite no GF option. I ordered the burger. We shared a serving of fries and deviled eggs as an appetizer. Food came out fairly quickly, which was great after such a long wait to be seated. The deviled eggs were average. The fries were below average - how can you mess up Fries!? What oil are they using? I don't know but it needs to change. My burger was a huge disappointment. Again, how can you mess up a burger? In Aspen? At $24? Geez. The meat was not enjoyable and the whole meal was subpar. I only ate half (rare for me) and hubby ate most of the rest as he was hungry. But he agreed; it was not good. But at least he said the French Dip was really good. The next table all ordered the chicken sandwich and said they have eaten here before and it's the best thing on the menu. But for $88 including tip - no alcoholic drinks just water - I wish we had eaten elsewhere or brought a picnic. We paid another $9 to park for an hour or so. Of course, We expect Aspen to be expensive: the location and ambiance of the White House were really nice. But the food quality and flavors fell very short and I doubt we would return anytime soon - either to the White House or Aspen. Our first visit to Aspen in 2011 was lovely but it's changed a lot since then. I don't mind paying decent money for a really good meal... but this just wasn't. We had a much better burger and fries at a drive thru joint in Montrose this evening for $22 for both of us. But that's hardly a destination! Just something to hit the spot. White House - if you read this, please take a look at how you can improve the most basic items on your menu... these were not gourmet... but it should not be hard to at least deliver above average meals In Aspen. The fact we are still talking to friends about what a disappointment the food was one week later is a telling sign.

Yelp
Pretty decent, albeit expensive, lunch. That said, it's Aspen, so everything is pricey here. I was a little surprised to not have more restaurant choices on a weekend, but I guess we're in that gap between ski season and summer, so a lot was closed. Even though we showed up a little after the lunch rush, they were busy, and we waited about 15 mins after putting our names on the list. Not wowed by backless barstools, but whatever. We were tired and hungry. The beer menu isn't huge, but we decided on a few to try. Ironically, we liked each other's beers better than our own. We split the duo chip and dip app with guacamole and a spicy cheese dip for $16. More dips than chips, it was nice when the waitress offered to bring us more chips for the rest of the dips, both of which were quite good. My wife had the french dip au jus sandwich, and I tried the crispy chicken sandwich. Again, both sandwiches were very good. A little surprised to see a sandwich or burger not come with fries, so we split a side order for $8. Glad we did that rather than get our own, because the fries weren't great. Kind of tasted like stale McDonald's fries, to be honest. Service was fine, if not spectacular. My wife's water glass had lipstick on it. Water wasn't working in the women's restroom, and the first time I went into the men's, they were out of both soap and hand towels. In this regard, not sure the overall ambiance they're trying for hit the mark, at least with us.

Yelp
My star rating: * Totally avoid. Why are you even open? ** Avoid unless the last restaurant on earth. *** Several important misses. Not recommended. **** Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended. ***** Hits every mark of perfection. Just go to WHT and enjoy a wonderful experience!! PROS Friendly, attentive staff (especially GM Chris and Staff Sandra) Amazing super-fresh entrees Fast service Nice wine and cocktails menu Cozy, clean restaurant Outdoor seating CONS No reservations taken, but we always managed to get a seat in a timely manner.

Yelp
This is at a great location , hard to miss. They get busy and full quickly. We were glad to be seated in 10 -15 mins, as soon as we seated they served water. Friendly staff. Cool vibing music playing in the background that makes your foot tap. One of the staff was dancing and looked very happy. This makes me happy knowing people who work here enjoy and tat shows in their customer service. If one person took our order , one refilled our water , another helped with our questions overall great team work. This is the first time I was impressed by a restaurant where I saw this level of collaboration. I said the same to them before I left. Food is awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again!

Yelp
Such a cozy tavern! The staff was so very nice and welcoming. Attentive and eager to give recommendations when asked. The menu has so many tempting options. The smoked salmon and the trout dip were considerations, but I decided on the Macho Salad and a side of fries. My salad was full size and was plenty filling for one person. Rotisserie chicken was plentiful and tender. Avocado, goat cheese, corn, dates, and tomato in a bed of kale, topped with a lemony vinegrette. So tasty, I highly recommend it. The side of fries were not worth mentioning. My cocktail of choice was the Jackrabbit. A tequila base drink that was delightful. The staff was really the whipped cream on top, and the evening was a success.

Bob S.

Yelp
Casual place with good service, many choices and really good burgers and fries. Vanilla sake also delicious

Krystal P.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous! Great service and some of best food in Aspen. Casual and cozy. 10/10

Yelp
We came late about 8:20pm before 9 closing time, it was full house and very crowded, we were told no seats available anymore. We were lucky to grab few bar stools, well this was the only chance if we didn't want to go find some fast food. My wife ordered Kale Salad and I ordered Honor Hamburger, we didn't wait long. My wife was very satisfied with freshness of the salad, my hamburger was tasty as well, the beef was juicy.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and delicious food! We had the Macho salad, the French dip and fries. All were great. Margarita with jalapeno tequila was spot on too!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Had a nice dinner at White House Tavern while visiting Aspen. It's pretty tough to find a good meal in Aspen without paying an arm & a leg, but White House was one of the more reasonable options. We ordered the fries with dipping sauces ($8) along with the Honor Burger ($24) and Crispy Fish Sandwich ($26). We wanted to get the French Dip, but they were all out. The fish of the day was grouper and the sandwich was delicious. The fish was perfectly battered to be crispy, yet juicy and the toppings were fresh and bright in flavor. The burger was good too, although I've had better tasting burgers that didn't cost over $20. Kind of a ripoff that the sandwiches/burgers don't come with a side for that price and it's an additional $8 just for ok fries, but we realized pretty quickly this was the Aspen norm. The service was good and the ambiance was nice. An elevated tavern with fresh food.

Lauren A.

Yelp
Delicious food in the heart of Aspen! Cozy atmosphere. Make sure you are ready to wait at least an hour, or sit at the bar. Owned by hillstone

Jeff F.

Yelp
Had the French Dip, Fries and Dip Duo. All around good meal. Cool atmosphere. Busy but not crowded. Excellent team approach to service. Kinda wish the French Dip wasn't so good so I could bring myself to try something else.

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Whoa, what an experience at White House Tavern! This place is small but it's worth the wait or better yet, see if you can find a spot at the bar....which is exactly what we did. This place is by the same owners as Houston's and Hillstone restaurants but you would seriously think it's a small local Aspen business by the way it operates. Menu is small yet with enough variety for everyone. We started with the smoked trout dip and per usual, I wish it were socially acceptable to lick the bowl clean. I needed a vegetable in my life post Thanksgiving so I went with the macho salad and it gave me life. Not sure if it was because it was loaded with veggies or because I'm still dreaming about their cornbread croutons but damn, it was a fulfilling salad. The bartender Matthew was amazing, can't wait to come back and see him again!

Yelp
Went there on a Saturday for lunch with no reservation, a 45 minute wait. Got seated at the proper time and the server was quite good. Kale salad was huge and if you loved kale a great salad. She ordered the french dip and she told me it was amazing. So why just good -- we ordered the brussels sprouts appetizer and it was both raw and barely prepared. Virtually not edible. The two drinks were quite good. All and all a good meal, great service, no more or less.

Yelp
The French Dip was fantastic. The sandwich is made of thinly sliced roasted prime rib on their homemade toasted French roll. Everything about it is perfect. The ambience is dim and cozy and the service is fast and friendly.

Yelp
Great Food. Aspen Prices. The atmosphere is busy. Will need to step in, put your name on the wait list. They'll text ya. Enjoy.

Yelp
Had a tasty summertime lunch at White House Tavern: Dip Duo of queso and guac served with fresh warm tortilla chips was a nice starter. Kale Salad with chicken and peanuts was hearty and tasty. Others had popular chicken sandwich on buttery rolls and wolfed it. They do some well-made cocktails and side of fries. Definitely definitely make a reservation. Waiting on an open table is a long long mess that will probably bring you close to skipping out....after the first 55 mins of waiting and watching tables turn to reservations.

Yelp
We ordered sandwiches and few drinks plus fries. The crispy chicken sandwich was just amazing. 10/10 recommend this place!
