Oysters tasty Customer service impossible Was double billed probably accidentally but numerous emails and unreturned phone calls have yielded.no resolution Customer relations abysmal. Probably better to find another oyster supplier

I ordered the 100 ct shelled oysters for a party directly from the website. The process of choosing the delivery date was easy, and the package arrived on time. The oysters were fresh and delicious - everyone loved them. Great experience, will definitely order again soon.

Absolutely blew our minds. We ordered the 100 ct Whitestone Oysters and it was delivered within 48 hours as promised. The description of the taste was spot on because we were worried that it might be on the salty side. However, to our pleasant surprise, the oysters tasted great (not sweet, more of a neutral and rich)! My wife actually asked me to make a shooter!! With only 20 out of 100 shucked, we are 20 for 20. We even steamed/grilled 8 of them and they were all great. I am excited to bring them to my neighbor's tomorrow because I know they will pretty much devour the other 80. I think I need to order another 100 at least for Thanksgiving :)

Glad to be the first review from a happy customer. I have bought directly from their online store twice since last year. Every time the oysters arrived fresh. The taste of white stone oyster is easily the best among all east coast oysters if not the both east and west coast. The size is about medium, some are smaller and some are larger. They are relatively easy to shuck. I didn't master it the 1st time. But at 2nd time, I can easily shuck whole 50 within 30 minutes. The taste is mild with some sweetness, not salty, not fishy at all. Very smooth and pleasant to eat. Think about you can eat at least twice as many as you usually eat, so plan ordering accordingly. Absolutely will order again. One question for them is: is it save to eat oyster in summer months?

We ordered 100 oysters for my birthday and unfortunately we were not pleased. We received them on 7/23 for the party on 7/24. Many of the oysters were bad and had opened. The oysters that were good, tasted okay. We stored them in the fridge overnight as instructed to do so. Super disappointed as oysters are my favorite. But we will not be ordering from them again.

Happy customer! This was my first foray into mail-order oysters and I was very pleased. Living near the Gulf, I shuck/eat Gulf oysters often and frequently order non-Gulf varieties at restaurants, but I thought I would try another variety at home. White Stone's packing was great and, even though Fedex dropped the ball and delayed delivery by a day and then delivered to the wrong address, there was minimal loss. The shells were much cleaner than the Gulf oysters I am accustomed to dealing with and shucking was no problem at all. The oysters were even larger than I expected, with a clean flavor profile. My GF and I went through all 100 over the weekend. I will definitely be ordering again.

I bought a bag of 100 and the taste was very good but the shells basically disintegrated or turned into slivered shards of shell. I've opened a few thousand oysters in my life and this bag was one of the hardest I've ever tackled. I'll give them one more shot but if I get a similar bag as the first, it will be my last.

We've order 3 times now through Goldbelly. The last order, a few days ago, there were several oysters open and inedible. Finally heard from Goldbelly after several days (their customer service is usually faster than that) but never heard a peep from White Stone, who I messaged directly. That was disappointing. The previous 2 orders were excellent. Now deciding if we chance it again in the future. We've ordered 100 oysters and 50 in the past.

Best oysters I've ever had delivered to my doorstep. I love the convenience of date scheduler on their website and all of the recipes! And they were super clean, and fresh- my friends loved them as well! Highly recommend.

Got The oysters today, I'm from Massachusetts I usually get them local the shells were so thin opposite end from the hinge they just kept disintegrating while trying to shuck... and of course the shows was fallen side little pieces wish I just stuck with my own local oyster company learned my lesson.

This company went cheap on shipping live oysters and expected me to receive oysters 4 days in transit. Said they would be fine?? They advertise overnight freshness delivery but did not follow there website ads. So buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So sad to waste seafood due to greediness and incompetence's!!!!!!!!!!

ordered the 100 oysters, arrived late and almost melted ice. opened 6 of the tiniest oysters ive ever seen. I took pictures of 6 oysters i opened alongside a quarter, theyre not much bigger than a quarter. 6 oysters was 1 bite. 1 bite. 1 bite. we were not impressed, for the amount of time and energy we put into shucking these god damned things, we went no further. took 3 pics of the tiniest, most unflavorable oysters ever....then we took a picture of the other 94 oysters in the outside trashcan. screw this company, this was after we ordered from vita-choice....same thing. at least they refunded our money. unbelievable the size of these oysters, why dont these people let these oysters live more than 3 months to increase the size? again, the product didnt match the picture, ripped off again. weve sworn off oysters. damn, when we rinsed them off, there were brown worms about 4 cm long crawling all over them, even when we opened them up......not taking a chance. the oysters werent even tasty at all. at least the 6 we ate. hope we dont get sick.

The greatest oysters around the Northern Neck area!!! The oyster shells are beautiful, and the oysters are meaty and fresh.
