"On the show I watched Langhorne head out with the founder of White Stone Oyster Company, an operator of an oyster farm in southern Virginia; after slurping a freshly shucked specimen he praised its "wonderful balance of brininess, some sweetness, and these little vegetal notes," and he composed two oyster recipes for the episode: a grilled version that combines peppers, country ham, brown butter vinaigrette and a squeeze of lemon, and raw oysters dressed with an aronia berry mignonette.
