From Publix to H-E-B, Americans Are Obsessed With Grocery Stores | Eater

"Positioned as a higher-end grocer that has embraced the 'grocerant' trend, turning stores into dining destinations as much as places to buy groceries and appealing to shoppers seeking premium food and in-store eating options." - Jaya Saxena

How Did Ice Cream Get So Expensive? | Eater

"The store’s freezer aisles present rows of high-end pints where shoppers choose among artisanal brands by packaging and perceived craft; it’s portrayed as the retail stage where modern, pricey ice cream is sold as a nostalgic, handcrafted commodity and where tactics like smaller-than-a-pint containers and premium pricing are commonly deployed." - Charlotte Druckman

Whole Foods’ Price Cuts Seem Like an Ad for Amazon Prime Memberships | Eater

"Announced broad price reductions on hundreds of items—averaging about 20% and described as its "biggest investment in lowering prices"—while expanding deals specifically for Prime members. Independent testing by The New York Times found virtually no benefit for non-Prime customers (a five-cent saving on a typical ~$60 grocery basket) and only modest savings for Prime members (about $2, roughly 3%), with some items like strawberries actually rising in price. For day-to-day grocery needs the impact appears limited, suggesting the initiative is largely aimed at encouraging Amazon Prime enrollments rather than delivering substantial, consistent everyday savings." - Tim Forster

Amazon Plans to Open ‘Dozens’ of Non-Whole Foods Grocery Stores | Eater

"An Amazon-owned supermarket chain known for excluding products with artificial ingredients and for a premium pricing reputation often nicknamed 'Whole Paycheck.' The chain experimented with smaller, lower-cost formats and has explored repurposing large, vacated big-box locations to expand its footprint." - Erin DeJesus

Google
You can find all food you need for your home. There is a cooked food you can take away or you can eat it in the beer bar area. Watching football game with friends. Vegan, vegetarian and traditional food is available. Quality is a very good and you can find everything. Enjoy:)

Google
We had a terrible experience today. The cookies are marked as 25% off for Prime members, but the cashier doesn't recognize that. Talked to the customer service people but they couldn't help either. The cashier was rude when we approached him, and just said "I'm busy. Go talk to the customer service". Won't come back for sure!

Google
This location has plenty of parking, baskets and knowledge staff. The staff is patient and helps you find things with a smile. This store just tends to have limited selection of deli meat and cheeses compared to other whole foods. Also alot of their cookies you self serve also did not get replenished. Overall the cafeteria part was running low on items when we went last. Instead we got pizza and sushi which are made fresh and a really good deal! This store is also a great option to pick up Amazon packages, making it fast and easy.

Google
Very nice location. It has big selection of meats and cheeses. But you will hardly find good fresh coffee here: usually whole foods have decent assortment, but not this one. At the same time there is huge amount of different grains and other stuff in dispensers. For Amazon prime members there are always some nice deals.

Google
This is a (relatively) newer Whole Foods in the area so it does have some frills like a ramen quick order place, the most spacious Floorcraft Taproom, and the WFM coffee bar. They also have a "burrito in a hole" so you don't actually watch them make it, which is a bummer if you want to instruct them to give you more black beans than rice. The price is amazing at around $10 to $12. The sandwiches are just the same. There are a lot of options but the weekly deals aren't as great compared to the other Whole Foods. There is something not quite right about this Whole Foods with the workers. They don't seem that familiar with their jobs, from Amazon returns to the cake makers. You will know what I am talking about once you arrive. I think they do have that self drop-off box for Amazon returns now thankfully. The parking is also not swell because there's so many other restaurants, fitness places, Sephora, etc. going on here. I am sure you will manage but you may have to park outside the main parking lot right in front.

Google
Good healthy options. Got some Dark Chocolate and Berry Chantilly pastries they were really Yumm and fresh. They have so many options for healthy drinks. Would like to try their salad counter next time. Perks to have an Amazon drop off as well.

Google
Free cheese samples are back! 😊 A great Whole Foods, huge, airy, high ceilings, with the excellent service you've come to expect from them. These are many freshly cooked food options, including oven hot pizza and freshly rolled sushi. They have an expanded food and seafood selection. This whole foods also has Amazon One, which allows you to pay using your palm.

Sameer R.

Google
It’s one of the larger and well designed Whole Foods and located in a bustling area - lots of parking, stores, restaurants and residences in the neighborhood. It has the assortment you expect from a Whole Foods and more. There is a nice bar with sitting area and tvs inside so you can order food or take it from the hot bar and enjoy it with some drinks. The reason to give it 4 stars was just that the hot food wasn’t quite up to the mark but could’ve been that day so will update my review if it improves.

Yelp
Whole Foods is a pretty large place with lots of variety. The one thing I do love about it is the Amazon return section which is super convenient. Service is pretty good but the payment system is a little confusing when trying to use my Amazon account to pay for things. Fortunately someone was at the self checkout area to help.

Yelp
I've been going back and forth on whether or not to write this review because I'm usually the type to only leave five stars, but my experience with Sophia at Whole Foods was so disappointing that I felt I had to share it. From the moment I got to her check stand, there was no greeting, just a rude tone asking me to take a couple of items out of my basket that were already on the conveyor belt (something that's never been an issue before). Then, when she asked how many bakery items were in my bag, I politely asked which item she was referring to so I could give her the right count. She rolled her eyes and said, "I'm not putting my hand in here," with a dirty look. To make matters worse, she was watching TikTok videos on her phone the entire time she was ringing me up. The whole interaction felt unprofessional and made me incredibly uncomfortable. I ended up leaving without even grabbing my receipt because I just wanted to get out of there. It's really unfortunate that such a great grocery store like Whole Foods would have someone in a customer facing role who treats customers this way :(

Yelp
Sometimes you drop into a store because it's reliable like Whole Foods. I expect high quality and equally high prices. This morning I was in desperate need of coffee and quick. I skip the local coffee shop as an unknown and wandered into the Whole Foods instead. The canned coffee was the first thing that caught my eye. I saw several selections for the nitro. Not familiar with any of the brands I picked one at random. Whole Foods needs someone who understands nitro coffee. This ain't it. Self service was a breeze at usual.

Yelp
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER TRYING TO GET OYSTER. WAITED 40 MINUTES FOR NOTHING BECAUSE HE forgot? If he spoke to me??? I went in to get oysters, spoke to a guy in his 20s or 30s with short hair. There were only two types left, and he told me it'd be about 20 minutes for a dozen of each. I said okay and went to the meat section while on the phone, telling the staff I'd come back. After finishing up, I returned and waited 40 minutes. The same guy kept looking at me and nodding, so I assumed my order was in progress. Then, when a crowd formed, another employee asked if I'd been helped. I told him yes, and he responded, "I didn't talk to you." He blamed that I was on the phone and I said I'll come back (NOT TRUE, bc all that was to the person in the meat section which happened after my conversation with him) So I stood there, ignored, and after all that, another person told me they have to restart my order. THEY JUST HAVE ONE TYPE LEFT AND NOT EVEN ENOUGH FOR TWO DOZENS. He could've told me that the moment he asked if i was helped instead of wasting more time while helping other customers first. It wasn't just me but MANY also had their order mixed up. They didn't ask for names when customers placed the order but asked when we came to pick it up. THEN they got down the WRONG NAME and WRONG ORDERS, when other customers asked, he told them "This is what I got. Do you still want it??? Like he has a choice? If he said no then he probably ended up like me leaving the store empty handed after wasting time waiting.

Yelp
the hotbar has really gone down over the years. this picture was from 2023 but i just came back for lunch at 2pm today and was disappointed by the quality/prices! the whole foods mac n cheese used to be exquisite! but now its always room temperature, pasta is mushy, u can see the butter separate in the watery cheese "sauce". not worth it! DO NOT GET THE HOT BAR, there's pizza/sushi which looks delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Recently visited this whole foods market and the vibe is just amazing! They have so much variety in every category that you will have decision fatigue..haha. They have lots of premium cheeses, chocolates, baked goods and cakes. Just loved the variety! They have good number of checkout counters open so overall service is quick. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again to check out cooked food.

Yelp
I mainly come here to pick up fresh veggies for both me and my bunnies (they're so fresh and green here!), but also for a specific brand of chocolate milk (Clover in reduced fat/nonfat version), which comes in half gallon, pint-sized, and half pint cartons. Some of tastiest lowfat chocolate milk I've ever had, and I can only find it at Whole Foods. The hot food station here is not always stocked and sometimes lacks variety toward the evening. But I was able to grab a few items for dinner on a Monday. They had different variations of chicken, meatballs, pastas, vegetables, and vegan dishes available. I got the cacio e pepe potatoes (my preferred fingerling didn't look too appetizing on this day), mac and cheese (which is pretty consistent here, soft and creamy), and cajun blackened white fish (this was a bit dry, but flavor was decent). I'm not too big a fan of the hot food here, the flavor is usually slightly lacking and a lot of the food just dries up after sitting in the trays for so long. But it's not bad. There's no shortage of delicious and adorable baked goods and desserts, like chocolate lava cakes (it's good here!). They also have a large parking lot shared with the plaza which almost always seems to be full, indoor and outdoor seating for dining in, and a quick and convenient self checkout counter to pay for grocery items, where I've never run into any problems. On my recent visit, I had zero interaction with staff, and a positive shopping experience.

Yelp
I only go grocery shopping here and never tried their hot bar so review is only about the grocery shopping experience but this is my favorite Whole Foods in the South Bay

Yelp
Coworkers brought in strawberry cake for our luncheon today. The 6 inch looked small but all 6 of us got a good sized sliced strawberries were fresh, whipped cream was light and cake part was dense (like the berry chantilly cake). Very tasty and pretty. $31 for the 6".

Yelp
It's a nice Whole Foods. It's clean and well stocked but the clientele kind of ruin it. This is where the younger workers go. I've seen those same people steal from here. Watch the ones that carry a small bag to throw stuff in. They duck down, quickly throw a few ice cream buckets in and they go to the self checkout only to not ring them up. Drivers that don't care to park wherever and not follow basic traffic rules. I always come out of here feeling a bit sadder.

David L.

Yelp
One of the best location in the bay area. I'm a huge wf fan. The staff is very courteous. The hot bar is particularly good!

Yelp
Came in a little late for dinner time and was hunting for hot food. A few items were out some items only a handful of pieces left. Got mixture of meats and veggies. All pretty decent. The meatballs were a tad burned so not sure they ran out of juice at some point or just sitting without being moved for a long time. Bought a prebio soda and ate up. Service for checkout was friendly. Agree with a few others that this store seems more cozy than some others I've been to. Was nice to eat here at one of the tables up front of the registers. Will be back for hot food as needed. Decent quality and quick to get. Price a tad high of course.

Yelp
I love this store! They always have fresh produce and such an awesome selection of vegetarian items. A ton of fresh flowers and plants too! The cheese section is my favorite, so many good local cheeses and they have samples sometimes. The hard cider selection is also pretty solid. Moving on to the bakery section, whether you are looking for a breakfast pastry or a sweet treat they have you covered. It is always very clean and employees are always willing to help you find what you need. It's great when things are on sale and prime members get an extra percentage off. Self-checkout is efficient, the only thing that isn't is parking. So I recommend doing a drive up order.

Yelp
i love making Spanish paella. I love it so much I have 5 paella pans. When I first began this edible and communal dish, I remember rolling the minI shopping cart grabbing items for my paellas, even the Bomba rice in fabric bags. I'm so happy the center was created and Whole Foods is one of many anchors in the corner of Augustine and Bowers. The store is large and customers are busy finding and fillimg baskets. I love the food court where one can create their meals by spooning into cardboard meal boxes. Besides the dishes in the dishes ready to scoop, there is a deli section. Nice neighborhood grocery store. I feel the staff is a bit nicer and sociable than the standard grocery stores. Only con is sometimes parking near the store can be difficult bc other business share the center parking lot and it's a busy center

Yelp
Whole Foods is a good market to shop at if you are looking for higher quality meats, produce, general groceries in general. They have all the typical departments Meat & Seafood, Cheese, Bakery, Pre-cooked Food, Salad Bar, Sushi, Pizza, and Ramen. Chantilly Cake is so good here!

Jim H.

Yelp
Food offerings has recently gone from excellent to poor. Since June/July 2025, these are the disappointing changes: - no more cooked kale & mushroom during breakfast - no more egg dishes (I.e. egg whites & egg yolks) at breakfast - no more breakfast dishes ... just egg burrito. I can get that at my company cafeteria for much cheaper - rarely have pot roast during lunch This used to be my favorite go to place for breakfast and lunch. Totally do not recommend this store for their hot bar offerings.

A. S.

Yelp
Their "fresh-made" organic peanut butter has gone bad and tasted funky and it was in stomach of my family. We called for concerns of toxic elements it could cause and the store manager basically showed no concerns but just ask me go back to refund while I already mentioned the trip isn't worthwhile. The store is not next to my door. Horrible customer service and the lesson just told me to be careful of purchases even it's from "Whole Foods"
google avatar

Yelp
Oof! These juice girls delivered such a negative energy! Underpay or overwork are not the case as both are illegal. The root cause IMO is management incompetency. They simply hired the wrong people and are not training them right! Any unhappy ungrateful entitled stuck-up biased types can be "groomed" with proper, sufficient customer training. The lack of customer orientation in their mantra leads to a toxic corporate culture. Therefore, their hating the job or despising the customers are clearly showing on their faces, manifesting with the nebulous expression of rolling eyes and the subliminal hostility. The metals on her face were like our interaction - cold and soulless. They didn't even bother faking mannerism or gratitude as a result you got none. My Green Goddess tasted good. It just didn't make me feel like a Goddess when ordering. Hahaha. One of the pizzas tasted salty and a tad greasy but ok. Customer service is terrible in Santa Clara location. Both employees and managers definitely need professional training.
google avatar

Yelp
We came for a cookie butter coffee that is all over TikTok. Price & size way better than Starbucks. The taste was good. What was crazy were the lines to pay for food. They have a stand right in front of the coffee counter with muffins, cookies, etc. Any of it would go great with coffee, right??? Well you can't pay for those items at the counter! What??? Well, no pastries were purchased.
google avatar

Yelp
Compared to other Whole Foods locations, this place seems like it's the largest location and it's also in a nice area. Their parking lot is big as well. There's even a bar with plenty of seating in the area. The staff here are friendly and happy to help out. I appreciated the cashier notifying me that showing your Amazon Prime QR code gives a discount. Most of the food court food tasted good. I didn't enjoy their sweet chili tofu since the texture was harder and thicker than expected. My favorite was their lobster bisque which tasted creamy and not too salty. Their mashed potatoes were really good as well. I do wish there were more protein options instead of just chicken. This Whole Foods location is pretty clean and has more items than other locations. This location is definitely my favorite Whole Foods location.

Amy A.

Yelp
Friendly staff and great selection! The meat and fish department staff goes above and beyond. The only negative is parking can be a challenge on weekdays.

Dale A.

Yelp
Nice store. Some people who work there are not nice. Walked in with my registered service dog (I have PTSD from my military experience) and was confronted by one of the employees that informed me that my dog was sniffing around. Dogs do that but I regress. The manner at which this employee confronted me was concerning. When I acknowledged her concern, she looked at me, and in a rather hateful manner retorted, uh hu. I usually go to the Alameda store where they love dogs. No love here at this store. Later forever.
google avatar

Andrei M.

Yelp
Poor management and/or lazy employees that are trying to work less and less as time goes by and save on cost. Morning or evening, can't seem to find this place properly stocked lately ... Also, seafood section is almost all frozen stuff, inhouse bakery stuff is few days old, eggs, dairy most close to expiration date.. The fruit/vegetable area seems to be the only one that restocked properly. Only one or two cashiers open so you always have to wait and there s always a few products that they can't scan...
google avatar

Anny O.

Yelp
They have a wide selection of bakery items here! My favorite is probably the classic chocolate chip cookie but there's so many options. We came on a Thursday night and it was fully stocked. We got 4 items for about $3.50. They weigh per pound. The only thing bad about this location is the parking. It was pretty difficult to find parking during the dinner rush.
google avatar

La D.

Yelp
I was really disappointed when I got home to find the strawberries and cucumbers both had mold!

Janet W.

Yelp
Get the rats out!!!! They have been dealing with this for months in Cupertino. Now u can add two more with infestation in Ranch 99 as well. No shell shock there!
google avatar

Dan J.

Yelp
This whole foods NEVER has grilled chicken available at the salad bar. Who wants a salad with no protein!? Chicken is more important that lettuce to a salad in my opinion. And call me crazy, but I don't want salmon on my salad. That's all they ever have... SUPER WIERD. Team Whole Foods, please fix this cause your store is great otherwise. P.s. could also use some better craft beer. Get some moonraker!
google avatar

Nathalie B.

Yelp
They should not let staff spray a bunch of cleaner all over the tables and around the people who are eating right next to them?!?!?!? Hello I love the smell of cleaner fluid in the air while I'm eating?!?? If you need to wash the tables get a damp cloth soaked in sanitizer like every other eatery who understands proper food safety and sanitation and hygiene practices!!!!!!
google avatar

John J.

Yelp
I just realized they never got back to me. Looks like they just copy paste the same response to every negative review.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Aight, this is just for the Bar, because we all know Whole Paycheck is, well, just that. This place has two very enticing qualities for me. 1. Beer 2. It's like, 100 metres from my work. Ya know those days when you're like, "man, brohemian, brosephino, BroChodeMan, ChadBroChill, I can't wait to get home and have a nice Cold One with the boiz [lady boiz ;)]!" Well I got news for you, you silly goose! You don't even have to wait to get home! You can just waddle yourself over to the bar nearest you and have all the fun right after work! And just between you and me, sometimes I don't even wait until after work, but just go ahead and start during lunch ;) But don't tell my boss that, cuz I will deny it and UP AND DOWN DON'T YOU DARE TRY ME SON, I WILL END YOU!! KThxBai! LuvYou :D

Yelp
Whole Foods has always been our alternative whenever we can't go to local Farmers Market. We love their array of fresh fruits & vegetables. They also have fresh cuts of meats & seafood which is a plus for us good source of protein. We get lost in their cheese isles it's like a kid in a candy store for us love seeing what's the newbie in town... Also we have tried their prepared meals like soups sandwiches ( we love their tuna sandwich on rye bread) sushi , pizzas , empanadas etc... we love everything here...their bread selection is also good ( I love freshly baked bread ) so need to be extra careful passing through all the goodies .... Staff are always eager to help & very friendly plus they always restock their produce which I love .

Yelp
They put an entire display of very fragrant soaps next to the self check out. If you have migranes, or going through chemo, pregnant, or have some other breathing issues/ disability you can't stand there and wait for self check. You end up dizzy with migrane gasping for air. Please reorganize the store to be ADA compliant for indoor air quality / VOC considerations .
google avatar

Chunichi C.

Yelp
The store is clean and food is top tier, but you definitely will pay for it. Items are pricey. The meal prepped items are really nice for quick easy meals. Also Amazon prime members get discounts.

Yelp
Looking for exotic mushrooms. Only place I've seen that has Lions Main mushrooms consistently, among others as well. Love the checkers, always have a great attitude and very friendly.

Yelp
Help me understand why I could not order a pizza that was on promotion this week because the customer service person behind the counter said corporate never sent us the recipe? My mom went to this location and had no issues ordering it... why all of a sudden they don't have the recipe. I'm assuming they didn't want to make the pizza since the lame excuse of not having a recipe. The staff working at this location were unprofessional and having their own personal conversations in the prepared food area and making customers wait till they are done before they help you. Leadership needs to evaluate their staff to ensure staff is attentive and delivering on their deliverables because I'm sure I'm not the only person that has encountered this issue. Upon checking out and paying for my other items the cashier was not friendly, he clearly didn't want to be working, no hello or anything, just told me my total and that was it. WFM is a higher tier market and I expect better level of service, I'm not shopping at a lower tier market.
google avatar

Vicki B.

Yelp
I've heard about Whole Foods amazing produce and customer service. I'm sad to say I experienced neither. I bought some grapefruit the over the weekend. When I cut into one three days later, the grapefruit crumbled into fruit dust. Literally. It wasn't cheap so I schlepped myself and my grapefruits back to the store. The guy behind the counter seemed insulted I was returning them but grudgingly took them back. I would have thought he would have asked if I wanted to get a couple more but I got no hint of empathy, courtesy or eye contact. I did get my refund after showing him a receipt. I'm sure the receipt was necessary since they probably get a ton of practically senior citizens walking out with produce they didn't pay for only to return it for a refund.
google avatar

Meeta A.

Yelp
This is such a huge store. Bigger compared to the other whole foods I have been to. They have a lot more variety. And a few eateries/coffee spot inside the store itself. The staff is not particularly friendly but i wont give a negative star just because they didn't smile back at me.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Big parking lot which is needed because this plaza gets busy! My favorite is going to their dessert area and choosing something from their display case. I like how Whole Foods keeps everything organized and darker colored themes instead of fluorescent bright like other grocery stores are. They have a lot of self check out stations. Use you Amazon Prime scan to get extra discounts upon checkout.
google avatar

Yelp
I love shopping at Whole Foods especially this one. It's relatively big, well-lit, wide aisles...feels less crowded and cluttered especially in comparison to the Whole Foods in Mountain View. They also have an Amazon drop-off here which we have used quite often. Good selection of ready to eat food options...nice big salad bar, pizza, sushi, bakery, cheese selection, even an olive bar (closed during the pandemic) Ample parking and also quite a few businesses, restaurants in the same plaza which makes it a nice one stop shop. Restrooms are clean. Appreciate that they have sanitizing wipe dispensers near the entrance and exit. Also they are very happy to offer a new surgical Face mask in case you forgot yours or just need a new one. Staff is generally friendly and courteous - no complaints. Good selection and variety of options in every category. I love going to this Whole Foods. I also love the Whole Foods in Downtown Sunnyvale.
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
One of the best Whole Foods Market in the area. They have an excellent selection of produce, meats, bread, cheese, and desserts. There is always some sale going on, and even better if you have Amazon Prime. Produce has been trending towards cheaper prices than usual (relative to our inflation situation, of course). Be sure to check out the meats department for fresh cuts of chicken, pork, and beef. As for desserts, you will need to make the cake pre-order in person because they cannot finalize the order unless you provide payment upfront. Go for the berry chantilly or the tres leches if you just need a slice. Last, I always go here for Amazon returns. They are very efficient and do their best to make sure you get the proper refund. Parking is easy but nearly impossible to find spots in the front.
google avatar

Yelp
Horrible customer service in the deli, hot food and salad buffets, check outs. Total apathy. Absence of any caring skilled manager / store manager. Experienced this at noon, 2 PM, 3:30 PM. 4:30 PM. It's clear that the only department with caring responsible staff is the produce. Telling everyone to avoid this Santa Clara mess. Look instead to Sprouts or Trader Joe's for consistency and quality. No matter how many receipt customer surveys nothing has improved or changed from one year ago.
google avatar

Wes M.

Yelp
The nastiest pork I've ever eaten in my life. The pork belly was heavily contaminated with skatole and who knows what else. Stay well away from the butcher department.
google avatar

Yelp
I was looking for the bakery photos online in this place. Unfortunately I didn't find any. So I decided to take some when I was there today and post it here. Highly recommend the New York cheesecake. It's one of the best cheesecakes I have. It worth every penny you paid.

Yelp
First word that comes to mind when I think of this Whole Foods Market in Santa Clara: G I N O R M O U S !! Since my girls and I were having dinner in the same plaza we decided to take a quick stroll and checkout what WFM had to offer. The store is immaculate, fully stocked, and the ready to eat food options are amazing!!!! This particular WF's bakery department is the biggest I've ever seen and they offer a vast selection of treats for any/all occasions. They also have a full bar with a nice list of beers & wine ready for consumption. 5/5 stars. This Whole Foods Market is all that & a bag of chips!! Bonus points because parking is so plentiful and the staff is so cheerful. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Got some Kumamoto from wholefood after work today. When I got it, it was alarming how small they were, but after I shucked and served them w a homemade wasabi cocktail sauce, they were quite good. 12/14 have their liquor retain in them. They were at $2.67 each, I got them un shucked, because I want to retain those good liquor on the way home. Probably would not get this variety again as they were so small.

Yelp
Love this whole foods.. my fav one to visit since I can walk to this one now! They have breakfast burritos that are to die for, blue bottle new orleans, eggs, veggies, fruits, cheese & crackers, non-dairy milk, and much more. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing .. tho the prices do put a dent in ur wallet.

Yelp
This review is purely for the cakes at Whole Foods. We had high hopes for the Chocolate Eruption cake but it was disappointing. The cake itself was dry. The icing was too sweet. Needless to say, the cake went unfinished and ended up in the trash. :-(

Yelp
This is one of my two favorite Whole Foods locations in the Bay Area. First off, the parking situation is easy and plentiful because they share a parking lot with several other restaurants and shops. For now, they have one entrance in and one exit out. I'm going to assume after the county restrictions let up, they will go back to allowing people to enter and exit from the two main doors instead of just one. As far as why I like this location, number one is the feeling that the inside feels much more open, possibly tied to the taller ceilings. I also feel like the aisles are wider but then again, maybe it has to do with the tall ceilings again. What I can say for certain is their flowers and fruits selection are more plentiful and more diverse than some of the other locations I've been to over the years. The staff here has always been friendly and mostly competent, except for the occasional new cashier who struggles with figuring out how to charge certain vegetables. Otherwise, I love coming here on a weekly basis.

Yelp
This place is clean with great selection of quality food. But every time I have driven all the way there to get a smoothie, the juice bar person is on break and will be back in 30 minutes No one else covers and managers don't seem to care when I let them know. Extremely poor customer service. I love Wholefoods and am very disappointed In this one.
