A must-try vegan spot in Overland Park
Tried Whole Harvest Kitchen on a weekday and had a really great experience. The vibe inside is beautiful—scenic, calming, and thoughtfully designed. The ambience is easily one of the best parts of this place and makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a slow meal.
We started with their Wellness Flight and sampled three drinks: Golden Hour, Mindful Chai, and Lavender Lemonade. The Golden Hour was my favorite—really enjoyable and something I’d order again. The Lavender Lemonade was nice and refreshing. The Mindful Chai was different than I expected; it wasn’t really my style, but if you like more herbal/unique flavor profiles, it’s worth trying at least once.
For food, we tried a mix of small plates and mains. The hummus bowl with pita and sides like squash and watermelon were fresh and flavorful—everything tasted clean and well put together. For the main course, the Thai curry was excellent, and the tofu paired with it was especially good. We also tried the American burger, which was surprisingly satisfying and solid.
We wanted to try the pizza too, but we were already full—definitely on the list for next time.
Overall: great ambience, tasty vegan food, and a strong menu. If you enjoy vegan/plant-based meals, this is a must-visit in Overland Park.
