Who’s Got Soul Southern Grill Soul Food Restaurant from Chef Keith Kash Is Opening in Duluth, Georgia | Eater Atlanta

"Opening next month at 3580 Breckinridge Boulevard in Duluth, this fast-casual, counter-service Southern grill from chef Keith Kash—who grew up in Harlem and credits his Montgomery- and Raeford-born parents for his love of cooking—offers a "hybrid" approach to soul food that aims to deliver a healthier, authentic take on classics. The menu pairs staples like lamb chops, turkey wings, whiting filet dinners, and fried chicken with Southern-inspired salads, grilled and broiled vegetables and several vegan options. Seating is available inside and on a patio but will be limited during the pandemic; masks are required and online ordering for takeout will be offered. The interior features murals, including one by local artist Demont Pinder depicting the Harlem subway station near Kash’s childhood neighborhood. Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday." - Beth McKibben

It was my first time visiting this restaurant. And I must say! Me and my family will definitely be returning again! 🥰 The food was delicious! 😋There was so many choices of meats and different sides to go along! Oh we just couldn’t make up our minds! Because everything looked delicious! The staff was also so sweet and very helpful with telling us their menu! And we got so much for such a great price! I highly recommend you come to eat here! ❤️😊

My ex had had this place while I was at work one day and it was so good to him that he saved me some because he felt like I had to try it. And I did. And it was so damn good. (He had catfish, mac, and greens). My friend and I were craving soul food and I remembered this place and suggested it. This food was so damn good it really don’t make no sense. I had the fried chicken and got it smothered (they put the gravy on the side which I appreciated), with greens, mac, and sweet potato soufflé. My friend got turkey wings, Mac, and cabbage. The food was so good we were just eating in silence. That’s when you know it’s good.

Google
Had lunch with my wife. The salmon was freshly prepared and excellent, as were her sweet potatoes and pinto beans. My BBQ chicken was excellent, as was the yellow rice. The mac and cheese was so-so. The lemonaides were tasty and satisfying.

Google
The food here is underwhelming. I had the chicken wings with macaroni and cheese and greens. The chicken wings were dry and the seasoning was bland even though they were clearly seasoned on the outside. The Mac and cheese was ok—it had a nice flavor and the greens were bland. I appreciate being able to get a plate like this locally, but for the price I expected good flavor. I would go back and try other things from the menu, though.

Today was my first time visiting Who’s Got Soul Southern Grill in Duluth and it was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious! My family and I ordered a variety of dishes and desserts and everything was flavorful and made with loved! I will definitely be going back! Pictured are the smothered pork chops, black eyed peas, and Mac and cheese.

Google
Nice restaurant. Sides are great, meat particularly pork chops and fried chicken had no flavor. No seasoning. I went twice.

I was in town for work and this popped up as a popular place so I decided to check it out. I ordered the Oxtails dinner over rice, side of Mac n cheese and corn, and the peach cobbler. It was FANTASTIC!! Wish I had the time and the stomach to try more items.

Google
Who got soul???? My soul left my body!!!!! LOL My husband normally cooks and said I need a break.... so we went out to grab something to eat. We were at bahama breeze and decided to grab food and go home at Who got soul. We went in close to closing time and ordered a 3 wing plate with collard greens and mac n cheese. Also ordered catfish with cabbage and sweet potatoes. The food was still hot and fresh when we got home even though it was closing time we appreciate the fact the the food was cook to order. My husband was happy he didn't have to stand over the stove AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I even called back to tell Jullian about it but they were closed. We will definitely be back! Blessings and love

Yelp
This was my first visit to this location. I typically go to the Lawrenceville location in the area, but I haven't visited either location in about two years. This restaurant is next to Bahama Breeze, along with a strip of shops and other restaurants. Upon entering, I was greeted by the cashier, who informed me that I could scan a QR code for the menu. I usually order either the pork chops or the turkey wings, and this time I chose the turkey wings with macaroni and cheese, corn, and yellow rice that comes with the wings. I also had a banana pudding, of course. Let's start with the positives: the banana pudding was fantastic, as it always is. I've never had a bad experience with it during my years of patronizing this restaurant; it truly is amazing. The corn was good, and the macaroni and cheese were just okay--not excellent, but not bad. However, the turkey wing was disappointing. It wasn't the typical taupe gravy color I expected; it seemed more like packet gravy. It wasn't tender or falling off the bone, as is customary when eating turkey wings. I would rate it a three on a scale of one to ten. The total for my meal came to almost $25. Do I think it was worth that price? Not really. However, I recognize that food prices are high, which seems to align with the market rate for soul food restaurants. On a positive note, the restaurant was clean and neat. If you are in the area give them a try.

Yelp
I was so hungry, I dont know if I actually got a real taste of the food-lol! Becoming vegetarian has its challenges and this place was not one of them, they had them SIDES!!! The veggie plate was like $16 which came with 4 sides-all very flavorful-I think! I ordered collard greens, cabbage, mac & cheese, and Black Eyed Peas, the Black Eyed Peas were actually placed in a side container and not photographed. I absolutely love the set up of this location, you can actually sit down and get your grub on. They have fountain drinks at this location as well. The restaurant was clean, and the food was good, unfortunately the food was served with a side of attitude.... and the service was pretty rushed so that the cashier could get back to the lobby to entertain her guest on this particular Saturday. Yes, I will definitely order again, but I will ask them to hold the attitude the next time. Lol

Yelp
We just ate there. The portions were nice and the food was good. I recommend this place to anyone craving soul food

Yelp
The light brown skinned, moderately tall black woman that was a pain in the ass about a year ago must not be there anymore as I haven't seen her since I've peeked in on the Duluth location. The service has been much better and the food is still great! Good vibes.
google avatar

Chelsea H.

Yelp
The food was good, just your typical wing spot nothing really stood out. I did like that they seasoned the fries really good. My friend had the Philly and she said it was good as well. So you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
My Wife And I Enjoyed Great Southern Food Collard Greens, Black Eyed Peas, Mac And Cheese Smoked Chicken, Fried Chicken, Peach Cobbler And A Lot More Delicious Homemade Foods.

Yelp
1st time eating here. Visiting for California. Ordered the smothered pork chop over rice with white corn and Mac n cheese. Food is setup like a Buffett style to create orders. Pork chop was tasty and cut easily with plastic knife. Cream white corn was very rich and tasty. The Mac & cheese was ok. Could have been more creamer, but overall food experience was good. Oh their homemade drinks are delicious!

Yelp
Busy place! People coming in and out, but service is friendly and takes the time for each order to be happy. Very clean, most people take things to go, or at least when I went, but they also have outside seating! Cobbler was good amount of sweetness, I like that it's not too sugary! Could be the piece I had, but I thought I had too much breading. Collard greens and cabbage were seasoned nicely in their own way, tender, and definitely will order that again! Grilled vegetables lacked seasoning for me, but paired nicely with the fish. Mac and cheese good, I can see this being a hit here! I know what to order for next time!

Richard T.

Yelp
$17.99 for a 1/2 of fried chicken dinner with 2 sides. So a just a fried breast & wing/2 sides is $18? Rip off! Also, please teach your cook how to fry chicken! The skin came out tough as shoe leather and the meat was tough & dry because it was cooked so long. Hey did you hear about a new invention, called spices? Salt, pepper, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder, ect. It goes in the on the chicken or breading I'm told. How about a butter milk marinade soak for $18 maybe? Now for the barely good. The Mac-cheese & potato salad was delicious!

Lils T.

Yelp
Julian & Willie are the best! Come through, y won't regret! Food is quick tasty and on point. Perfect for lunch or dinner in bed til a vibes!

Yelp
Went here yesterday for dinner with my toddler to try out a few things an we liked it soul southern food. The restaurant is in a nice little spot that does draw crowd so it was definitely a good idea. The service was simple and kinda fast , the restaurant has the food behind the counter and you can kinda see it through the glass when ordering which you walk up to the counter to order but they will bring the food to where you are seated , they have the option to dine in or order out we decided to dine in surprisingly the food was still hot when served, which was definitely a good thing hot and ready. The restaurant was a little spacious with indoor and outdoor seating area they had one high chair which i was glade it was available for me and my little one to be seat . Not a real big ambiance the place was set up simple. The food was good i give it a over all 7/10 for the restaurant over all the best thing was the red velvet cake and the pineapple with ginger lemonade i loved them both . We decided to try the oxtail with rice and the two sides we had were Mac and cheese with sweet potato soufflé and my baby had the kids meal chicken tenders with fries which both orders came with a piece of cornbread. Food rating Oxtails- falling off the bone they were not stingy with it either but I'm use to the Jamaican kind this was good but the gravy was to oily for me. 6/10 Mac and cheese 7/10 Sweet potato soufflé 7/10 Chicken, tender whatever it was fried in had to be old Grease. Fries 6/10 Cornbread 5/10 Pineapple ginger lemonade 10/10 Red velvet cake 8/10

Yelp
The location is great. Parking lot with lots of space. Everyne is polite and greet you as you walk in. They were quick to give suggestions and answer any questions we had about the menu. The vibe inside the restaurant was pretty chill. Not very big but enough to enjoy your meal. The winner for this meal was the catfish! It was fried to perfection. I love that they fry the whole okra too. Instead of bites. Ngl though....some of the other foods could have used more seasoning. But it wasn't bad. I also grabbed an order of peach cobbler to go, and that did not disappoint. It was delicious. Overall I do suggest you try it yourself. The menu has lots to offer and the food was fresh and hot.

Yelp
This is a hot bar behind the counter type of place. When walking in there is a vibe. Music playing and you receive a nice welcome. I wasn't sure what to order but Willie came to the rescue. I asked his fav, even though I didn't order any of his favs I ended with one of the most popular dishes. I ordered turkey wings, mac and cheese and collard greens with honey butter croissant. I loved the sides and next time I'll get all Sides. I'm not a fan of the turkey wings but my experience topped that. I will defined go back.

Nonya B.

Yelp
First time stopping for lunch. Friendly counter folks, great food, great price. Neat murals to & in restrooms. :)

Yelp
Soul food with an awesome vibe! And I loved that items were made to order, but it didn't take too long. I'm definitely a person who considers the ENTIRE experience (atmosphere, food, and service) when I dine. And this spot did not disappoint. My lamb lollipops were awesome, but I definitely found myself into my husband's plate of turkey wings! And I'm not ashamed to admit that I enjoyed them both! Check them out!

Yelp
Came here while on vacation because I wanted soul food & that seemed to be the best option in the area. Also, their food is already ready for the most part, and with my hanger that's a plus. The establishment appeared clean and welcoming; there was also seating along the windows. We chose to sit here while we awaited our food I did advise the man at the register that I had not been there before, so he did give me a little backstory on the restaurant and food. My sister has been here before, so I used both of their suggestions when ordering. Smothered pork chop 9/10 (price is high for one chop) Very well seasoned but not salty. The rice was dry and bland could use more gravy. Turkey wing: 9/10 very tender and seasoned but not too much on the bone (Forgot to take picture of this) Fried catfish : 10/10 Very crispy and well seasoned, again not salty (I did have to ask for the condiments to go with it) Macaroni and cheese: 6/10 I won't call it baked Mac n cheese, and I don't think they do either. It has a decent amount of cheese but not too much flavor. The consistency is a little more runny than I prefer. Spicy green beans : 5/10 Nothing special. Perhaps canned green beans with just crushed red pepper or cayenne thrown in the pot. Could use more love Cabbage : 6/10 Had a little flavor but taste more on the Caribbean side than soul food side. Idk maybe add some smoked turkey or something to it, but then I know it won't appeal to the vegans. Yams : 8/10 ( I don't eat them) But my sister really enjoyed them but advised they were a little harder than expected Fried okra : 1/10 This is what I was looking forward to as I love fried okra, but these were not it at all. They tasted like they were fried in old oil and as if they were freezer burnt. Truly do not recommend Strawberry lemonade bottled drink : 5/10 Way too sugary and not enough flavor I would definitely return here but perhaps try different sides and check for freshness and quality.

P A.

Yelp
Absolutely no complaints, enjoying my big back activities lol. Flounder fish sandwich loaded(the fried green tomato on it is a hit. And you get two big pieces of fish with plenty of fries. Love the potato salad so I got a side of that.
google avatar

Dee C.

Yelp
Food was good, just wish the cabbage would've cooked a little bit longer and that we got 2 pieces of pork chop because the 1 piece I had was mostly bone. The Mango lemonade was really good but (if you're diabetic, don't get it). Service was fast and staff was polite. I would definitely stop by again my next visit to Atlanta

Isaiah T.

Yelp
Takes way too long to give you your food smh. Some people ordered after me and they ended up getting their food first.

Penny P.

Yelp
No one can touch their Collard Greens - better than Gramama's recipe. Chicken, anyway they make it, baked, fried, or smoked, it's always delicious. Their down home Southern cooking is authentic and Chef Kash "put his foot" in all their recipes. They catered an event for us with little or no notice. Evething was packed up and very timely delivered. It was as delicious as eating in house. Everything freshly made and tasty. For dining in, take out or catered their professionalism and quality is supreme. You need food for 1 or 1,000, Who's Got Soul is your 1 and only destination. Penny Poole

Yelp
Never disappointed their turkey legs are delicious. I also am a big cornbread person and theirs are very good with the perfect level of sweet and salty. The food is very very close that homemade taste. A group of us had our friends giving there and they piled it on. Great portions took home and ate the rest the next day. My kind of restaurant.

Yelp
OMG. A MUST TRY!! Everything and I mean EVERYTHING here is delicious!!! EVERYTHING!!! So flavorful and I can't stress enough FRESH!!!! EVERYTHING IS MADE FRESH DAILY and stays warm but not left out warm. The Mac & cheese, oxtail and rice are my fav. I don't like hush puppies but theirs is fresh and does not taste like you're eating a fish grease ball. It's soooo soft on the inside, golden brown on the outside and so flavorful! Their food is PERFECTION! Their drinks are amazing. A bit on the sweet side but it compliments the food. The pineapple ginger is the best in my opinion. They are not short handed either. For the price you pay, you get plenty of meat with their rice to meat ratio!! Their deserts are so fresh and well made! Just an overall great place. Customer service - could improve but it's not terrible. I say this because the people that hand you your food at pickup are always pleasant. At the register, it feels as if you need them but they don't need you a bit sometimes. Kindness costs $0.00.

Yelp
Wow! Absolutely delicious. I ordered the meal through Ubereats. I'm sure it's 100 times better when you eat it at the restaurant but even on Ubereats it's delicious. My co workers have asked that i add this place to our list of restaurants to order from in the area whenever we order lunch for us again. Not sure what the bad reviews are there for but I will give it a 10/10!!
google avatar

Jeaneia Z.

Yelp
Okay so let me start by saying the food is good. My turkey wings & gravy is always so full of flavor. The greens had a bit of a sweetness to them today that wasn't very favorable but still not bad. The Mac was nice & cheesy- always a great side to get from here. The dressing w/ the turkey gravy on top is the bomb! My daughter & nephew both had catfish- IT WAS GREAT!! The sweet potato soufflé is a hit & miss. Too much nutmeg or maybe some sort of zest. Not sure. But it's usually pretty good. Just not always the same. My hubby got the smothered pork chop- he said it's very good! Lots of gravy!! & the flavor is there! Not salty, not bland, FLAVORFUL!! Service is always great! You see the same faces when you go so I love that!! Always a nice cool vibe! Really love the atmosphere & the overall location!

Paul T.

Yelp
While visiting Duluth I came across this restaurant. The outside is very inviting and the inside is just the same. Anyone walking through the door is greeted with a smile and they don't rush you to order. I had the blackened catfish and shrimp which was on point and recommend to everyone. The shrimp were tender and not chewy and the fish moist and flaky. Sides were collard greens had the right acidity and not looking like mush. All behind the counter were very personable and helpful. If you have a chance to go here, please do.

Yelp
Happened to be in the area for work and wanted something good to eat before heading back home to Tampa. We decided to check this place out. Soul food was going to hit the spot. Went in a d ordered, sat down, and waited for our food. At first, I thought it was taking a little longer to get our food brought out, then it came out, and we understood why. The food was super fresh and hot. You can taste the quality in the food. I ordered the catfish with fried okra and coleslaw. It was the absolute best I have ever had. If I'm ever near this place again, I will be by again.

Steve Z.

Yelp
Really good and tasty food. The wings are quite large and it's the white wing. Would def come back!

Tiffany C.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place, but sadly it missed the marked. I tried their fried chicken with mac & cheese, sweet potato soufflé and lemonade. The fried chicken is made to order, so expect to wait about 20 minutes, which I didn't mind. The disappointing part is the taste. The best part of my meal was the lemonade. The entire meal gave generic cafeteria vibes and for $20 (including the drink) for me it was just a waste of money. I ended up throwing away the majority of mac and cheese and half of the soufflé. The chicken I ate, but it was bland.
google avatar

Clarence G.

Yelp
Food is good. Service a little slow. I would recommend. Mango lemonade and regular lemonade is great. Jerk chicken was also good.
google avatar

Tameka B.

Yelp
THE BEST SOUL FOOD AROUND. THEY STAY PACKED. The cooks you see will shock you (stereotypical). Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, oxtail over rice and gravy. Cornbread, greens, peach cobbler ( not better than my moms) but it's good. They serve you HUGE portions so wear comfortable elastic pants or dress because you will feel like a stuffed turkey with left overs.
google avatar

Kamonie D.

Yelp
This place is pretty tasty, came across it on accident. The wait times can get to be pretty long though so be prepared for that in advance even though it appears that most of the food is prepared in advance. The guy who brought us the food was super kind and helpful but the cashier could've definitely improved on her customer service skills. The food was good but I don't think that it was enough to make me go out of my way to come back here again
google avatar

Terrie S.

Yelp
The sweet potato soufflé was excellent. My husband had the peach cobbler which is awesome as well. Everything else was good. I'm big on service, Customer Service, which they need to work on. There really is no Customer service or service. You order, self seated. If I'm missing something I ordered, an apology and my item is all I need. Not a grumble about not knowing I wanted it now! I ordered it!!! Be wary when you see no refund signs in a restaurant
google avatar

Dominique H.

Yelp
I try to be as honest as I can in my reviews. This restaurant is in a convenient location, and serves soul food to the Gwinnett area. The parking lot is shared with other establishments as it is connected to several businesses in the strip. The restaurant has plenty of seating on the inside. The customer service was okay, not terrible but not excellent either. They offer variety from chicken, to seafood, to beef or pork. The taste of the food was lacking for me. I ordered turkey wings, cabbage, and mac and cheese. The turkey wings were tough, the cabbage wasn't cooked down enough, and the mac and cheese was okay. I may go back to try other menu items but this was my first impression.

Monica M.

Yelp
Everything's great, comfort food made with soul. You can never go wrong here. I haven't had anything that didn't taste good and they reopened their dine in
google avatar

Gail W.

Yelp
Cold, unwelcoming, no forthcoming directions on how to order. This location is no match for the Covington Hwy location. The Covington Hwy location is excellent!!
google avatar

Keda F.

Yelp
I ordered 2 meals on UberEats: White Meat Fried Chicken, with Sweet Potato Casserole and Mac and Cheese also baked Turkey wing over rice with black eyes peas and Mac and Cheese...what I got what DARK meat, ugh, and no Turkey wing with rice a AT ALL!!! I contacted UE and they would not reconcile the issue so I wasted $32 on food that I didn't received. I will never order from here again...then the DARK had a never to not even be sufficiently seasoned. I do my best to support local restaurants and even local black owned businesses. I don't like to waste money and I had no time to order something else since I was due back at work. Don't order from here especially since they get orders wrong and don't want to refund the bill.
google avatar

Andrew A.

Yelp
Pick up order. The collards were great, the sweet potato souffle was more like a dessert (!), and the shrimp were great too. My only complaint was the beef ribs don't come out like the ones advertised by Fox Brothers. That's my issue not theirs. My order was waiting when I got there, a few minutes before scheduled. They were not busy that day I guess. I will repeat to try the other selections.
google avatar

P P.

Yelp
So, I finally got to eat this locations food. The first order was delivery and I was pleased. The beef ribs were smoked, meaty and very tasty. The fried green tomatoes were just right. The blackeye peas were just right! The greens could have been a little more seasoned, but they were good. Didn't realize they were located in the same plaza as Bahama Breeze. Since they are fairly close decided to do an in restaurant order. I had called before going to inquire if the oxtails were cut in half and was told "no". Many restaurants do and that really is not a good practice due to ending up with bone shards in the food. I digress, so I ordered the oxtails which come with rice and my old standby of collard greens with blackeye peas. While I waited on my food, I used the restroom. It was very clean which is always a good sign. The interior and exterior of the restaurant was also very clean. So got home to enjoy my meal and lo and behold, the oxtails were cut, not in half but vertically. So, could not really enjoy my meal trying to be sure I did not ingest or get bone shard stuck in gums. Again, the greens could have been a bit more seasoned, but overall a good soul food restaurant.
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
Customer service is unfriendly. Food was dry, Mac cheese noodles was so dry and the cheese is over burnt. The baked chicken wasn't juicy, and my yams tasted like cans! Overprice for a mediocre establishment, stick to the original Location in lawrenceville. Much better establishment, same bad customer service though.

A F.

Yelp
Got a veggie plate because I really needed some veggies while staying at a nearby hotel. Got cabbage, black eyed peas, greens, sweet potato casserole and a cornbread. Everything was good, honestly. Price was reasonable- $12 and it'll last more than 2 meals. If in the area again, I'd come back
google avatar

LaTasha A.

Yelp
Came to the Duluth location. Food was okay, nothing great. The wall art going towards the bathroom was really cool. It was tough to see the bathroom signs with all the wall art. Small outdoor patio. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Candy H.

Yelp
First of all this place is very expensive. We got one turkey wing plate, a two turkey wing plate and a white meat chicken plate that totaled l $78.02. We did not get any drinks but at this price they should've been included. We did get dessert, peach cobbler and one red velvet cake. The small desserts are five dollars and up. It took about 20 minutes or more for us to get our food. We were dining in. It's my understanding that chicken is supposed to be cooked fresh. This is the second time we have come here and gotten chicken that was not cooked fresh. The combination breast and wing were very tiny. Definitely more of a $10 Popeyes box than a soul food plate. The turkey wings were not fresh at all. They had to be cooked Saturday if not before because they tasted like fridge. The food was lukewarm when we got it, at least if you're going to charge $78 for three plates and three desserts the food could be hot. I know that this is cafeteria style and proper hot/cold holding temps should be maintained on all food. The greens were tooo smokey. Tastes like they added liquid smoke. There are tiny white balls of something, I'd assume turkey all over them. Corn muffin was delish. The service wasn't all that. The employees did not look happy at all. The peach cobbler was ok and the red velvet cake was on point. We will not be returning. This is our second experience just like this.

Jane D.

Yelp
So after a former traumatizing experience with "soulless food" in the surrounding area I decided to give this place a try. I got the ribs, fried green tomatoes, grilled zucchini and squash, peach cobbler, and the honey butter croissant. Everything tastes like ma dukes was in the kitchen telling your business to your aunt the whole time she was cooking. The only things that I would say left me wanting to go hook up my plate were the semi bland veggies and Itty bitty 1 count croissant. It low-key hurt my feelings like damn I know summer is coming but run me the goods. Anyway I'll check this place out again when I want some good friend green tomatoes. I gotta take a star off for the iced tea though. It was disrespectful for no reason. I don't know if I got a rude batch or something but it was not trynna show my taste buds any love.

Carrie T.

Yelp
Do Not Patronize... Be Ware...Theives Work at this Restaurant...unauthorized charges were put on my card...I asked for management to call me about my card and no one has called me yet...Do Not Patronize this location.

Othel H.

Yelp
I've been to this location a few times, and both the staff and the food have their bad days. It is ridiculous to invest $300,000 or more in a business and let staff who make less than $12 per hour run your business. I'm not sure why owners start to disappear after opening multiple locations. The food is good and, on a few occasions, decent. This location is always spotless, including the kitchen, and the employee uniform appears to be clean as well. The fact that the crew uses hair nets and gloves while preparing food will keep me coming back. Let's face it, even Chick-fil-A occasionally provides poor service. Every restaurant has its low points, whether it's the food or the service. If you can keep supporting Asian restaurants and businesses, we can keep supporting black businesses.

Yelp
Had sides catered for Thanksgiving. It was not good, had no love or soul in the food. The food had no seasoning. The mac and cheese tasted like boiled noodles with cheese. The collard greens had too many stems and no meat or seasoning. Sweet potato soufflé tasted like pie filling. I have been to the restaurant and the food was good, but I guess they outsourced the catering. I would have done better going to grocery store. It was way overpriced for quality. I don't mind paying for good food, but this wasn't it at all. NO SOUL!!!! Please don't ruin you holiday dinner with this food.

Yelp
We try to support our Black owned businesses whenever possible, so we bypassed a few other places to try this place. #done The customer service is in need of a overhaul due to the lack of concern for making sales or creating repeat customers. We were told we couldn't add to our order made at 8:15pm.. at 8:25 because they were shutting down to close at 9pm... Some customers walked in at 8:35pm and almost begged to have the cashier take the order. There was food in the serving trays and they were not ordering something that needed to be made like fried chicken or grilled cheese. So get there early and come hungry. The portions will not disappoint and the food is well seasoned. My folks didn't like the stuffing, but I thought is was good. The turkey wings were a hit and my fish was tasty. Kids liked the mac and cheese but it was too "crusty and dry" for the older ones. Maybe if the establishment puts a sign up saying the kitchen breaks down at 8:15 or teach the cashiers to NICELY EXPLAIN this to the customers before they order...this will improve the customer experience. They need jobs, and we need more businesses to support where we dont feel like the business is doing us a favor by letting us spend their money with them. We have enough of that with other large chain restaurants. 3stars for the food because it is good. Come earlier and be warned of the rest.

Yelp
Ordered 4 meals today for around $70.00. I was missing a side dish for each meal, the greens tasted like it was "canned greens", smothered porkchop taste as if it was a few days old, and the customer service was "so so". In essence, it's not worth the price!
