5 stars – Outstanding Dining Experience! Wicked Butcher absolutely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, everything—from the atmosphere to the food—was unbelievably great. The service was truly top-notch. Our waiter, Hunter, was incredibly attentive, kind, and gave fantastic suggestions that made our meal even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to the manager, Brian, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of fabulous. It’s rare to feel that genuinely welcomed and cared for at a restaurant. We can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend Wicked Butcher for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

Google
Wonderful dining experience. The service was fabulous, the staff was wonderful and made our anniversary extra special. Would definitely return. Popovers were made to perfection! Wine was good, filet mignon was tender and flavorful. Loved the wicked steak sauce. Highly recommend the spinach as a side. Also, don't skip dessert.

The decor is modern and nice. The bar has great options. The bartender, Tommy, was kind and provided great service. I enjoyed the cocktail he made. I chose this location because the bar menu online stated the Ft Worth location offered happy hour specials. The manager informed me that the specials are for the Dallas location only. That was disappointing and misleading. The tenderloin humus was filling and offered a great balance of creamy and savory. The humus should include more than 5 pieces of pita. The bartender was kind of enough to order more pita.

We loved the Wicked Butcher! The drinks, steak, and all of the sides were fantastic. We loved the crème brûlée corn and Mac & Cheese. Our server was excellent and had great recommendations for us from the menu. Perfect date night spot.

This was possibly the best dining experience I have ever had. Our waitress, Haley, was phenomenal. She knew the menus like the back of her hand and didn’t mind our endless questions. Once seated, we were welcomed with a glass of champagne, and since it was our first visit, the chef treated us to a delicious surprise — perfectly crispy arancini! Everything here was phenomenal, from the food to every staff interaction we had. Cannot wait to come back!

Hands down one of the coolest places in Fort Worth. The ambiance is perfection and the staff are so accommodating, attentive, and great! I came here for my Birthday Dinner and had such a good experience. Pros ( Because I truly don’t have a Con): Champagne Toast upon arrival Complimentary hor doeuvres The Beff Tenderloin Hummus was fantastic! Drinks on point! Incredible staff! Food and presentation= 5 + stars I thought it was also incredibly kind that I was brought out a surprise Birthday cake with a really fun firework candle. Loved my experience here

We stayed and dined at the Sinclair for our 8yr anniversary. Yeven, our waiter, was so friendly and helpful, and spoiled us, making it one of our best anniversary meals so far. We had a water girl topping up our water all night, and the restaurant manager brought us a glass of prosecco on the house. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and seasoned. My only constructive criticism is that the servers should have smaller sections, but Yeven did amazing, and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
The Wicked Butcher Steakhouse in Fort Worth offers a dining experience that goes beyond mere meals--it's a celebration of flavors, atmosphere, and impeccable service. I celebrated my birthday there with a friend, and it was a night to remember. From the moment we arrived, the luxurious and comfortable ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The service was flawless, with attentive staff who made sure every detail was perfect. They truly know how to make guests feel special, from the champagne starter to the rosemary popovers, appetizer tasting, and the divine chocolate chip cookies. The food was exceptional. The super cheesy mac and cheese was a delight, and the rib eye steak was phenomenal--melting in the mouth and so generously portioned that we shared it and still had leftovers. This meal was the best I've had all year. Every aspect of our dining experience at the Wicked Butcher was perfect, making it a fantastic way to celebrate. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-notch steakhouse experience!

Yelp
Maybe it was an off night? The food was 5 stars, and the service was 1 star. (1 star for the GM bringing complimentary champagne which I think is a lovely practice for this restaurant, it matches the ambiance here) I spent time looking up a good dry aged steak and this seemed to be the spot. We ordered oysters (I love oysters but these were just okay, it was the pairing of apple with them that did not mix well for me and I wanted more acidity), however the shrimp cocktail was lovely and the steak tartare cones were to die for, possibly my favorite thing of the night. We also ordered the truffle Caesar, wedge, dry aged ribeye, porterhouse, spinach, and potatoes. I loved it all, my ribeye had the perfect nuttiness that you look for in dry aged meat. My husband doesn't necessarily love creamed spinach and it was one of his favorite things. Food aside, it took 10+ minutes every time for our drinks except for one time. We ordered our first drinks at the same time I ordered the truffle Negroni (fantastic) and my husband a beer. After 10 minutes I got my cocktail, which my husband had seen sitting at the bar and then we waited an additional 10 minutes for a beer... odd but could be a one off, but it continued to happen. I'm not exaggerating, the majority of our beverages took 10 minutes and when you are pouring wine and beer it's a little questionable. Our waitress who was lovely, but I believe very busy because we waited close to 40 minutes just to order everything and after we ordered she came back to the table twice to confirm our order which is fine but then one of the sides we did not order was on the bill at the end. We pointed that out and it was removed. One of the most frustrating points was when we were finishing our appetizers and suddenly our steaks appeared. Our waitress ran over and checked if we wanted our salads and we did... Overall the pace of the meal and the slowness was very disappointing however the food and ambiance were outstanding. We kept wanting it to be one offs but it was consistently terrible throughout, my husband and I were thoroughly confused.

Yelp
I'm still thinking about this meal after several months. This was probably the best dining experience I've had in my life. We came for a surprise birthday dinner before catching a show downtown. The service was immaculate. Both the server and the manager came by several times to make sure we were taken care of. The food was impeccable. We were given free champagne, popovers, bread, arancini, and a birthday cake - all were amazing. Both of our meals were to die for. Absolutely making this our new special occasion spot.

Yelp
This restaurant is beautiful with low lights and a Longstar Vibe. My waiter was Grace and her service was awesome. There drinks are everything here. I also had the best beef Wellington ever. I will be back.

Justin K.

Yelp
Good service as our waitress had a great attitude and continued to check in on us. It is located in a nice Marriott hotel so the ambiance was nice so it's a good place to hang out. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Ordered the hamachi crudo as an appetizer but it did not taste fresh. Ordered the ribeye as the entree but was disappointed in the steak as it did not have a crust and tasted a bit gamey. I would rate the food 2/5, service 5/5 and ambiance 5/5.

Cassie C.

Yelp
I was in town for work and we decided to try this spot. The service was fast and friendly. The complimentary bread was delicious. We also shared oysters which were also very good. For my entree, I had the bone in filet which was fantastic. My favorite side dish was the spinach, and the brussel sprouts were good as well. There was a great cocktail list too. Definitely a great spot.

Yelp
This is a great spot for dinner! Date night, special occasion, it's the perfect place! The ambiance is dimly lit, upscale. I was here with a girlfriend because our husbands couldn't make it so we had a girls night. Our waitress was so sweet. The GM also came over and offered us champagne on the house, which was so nice. Our waitress also brought us some sort of appetizer as well, it was like a fried risotto ball, sooo good! We ordered steak, me the filet mignon and my friend the wagyu. They even brought the cows certificate over, showing where it was from and that it was certified wagyu which was fun. We jokingly asked the GM if we can see a picture of the cow and he said he could text his contact and get it Food was phenomenal. Steak cooked perfectly. Sides of Brussels sprouts, potatoes were amazing. We also got their chocolate dessert, unreal. I highly recommend this place, everything was 10/10 for me!

Brittany L.

Yelp
Quick Traveler Review -Get a steak. The restaurant cooks these steaks so perfectly, that they literally taste like butter when served. Menu has accompaniment sauces, but the steak doesn't really need it. I ordered my ribeye with Brussels sprouts, which were also delicious. -I saw some people order different appetizers. They can be small so keep in mind. -Spacious bar and restaurant is in attached/ in a hotel, though it's separated well.

Yelp
I've been to Wicked Butcher a couple of times and am pretty pleased with every visit! I was also so happy when they started offering brunch! They always serve a complimentary glass of champagne and amuse-bouche which is a much appreciated treat. The last time I visited was for the Fourth of July! They hosted a rooftop party to view the Panther Island fireworks show and it was actually a great view! They have a wonderful rooftop to enjoy post-meal on any night.

Yelp
We came here on a calm Sunday evening for my husband's birthday. Whilst this place is pricey, it is most def worth it! From start to finish, we had an absolutely wonderful experience from the hostess to the maître d'. Being a slow evening, it was nice and quiet. The retro decor is accompanied by a low-lit ambiance and table lights, and each staff member was well-groomed and professional. Starting off at why our experience was so exceptional is Gentry. He is a newer server, but that did not affect his perfectly attentive and amiable service. He ensured we had a top-notch evening. Also, a kind server assistant never let our glasses be lacking in cucumber water. We were greeted with complimentary glasses of bubbly and amuse-bouche which are lovely touches! The amuse-bouche was a scrumptious bite of arancini with truffle, a perfect combo! For y'all who haven't had arancini, if you like risotto, cheese and fried things, it's time you try some! Included with your meal are some popovers (aka Yorkshire pudding) - again, if you haven't had these, you are missing out! Basically, they're bread cooked quickly in a high heat oil to make the outside crispy while the inside retains a more softer, delectable consistency. The ones we had were slightly overcooked, but we weren't too bothered as the inside had a delightful flavor and the accompanied rosemary honey butter put our souls into a state of bliss. All 5 people at our table ordered steaks to our cooked preference, almost all of which were cooked perfectly! The only one that was slightly overcooked was my mom's who ordered a medium well and she was given well done (I know, I know.... medium well is not how a good cut of meat should be eaten, but we're working on her! haha). Each steak had a wonderful char on the exterior, and these were clearly, very very good cuts. Side note: a bottle of the Nebbiolo from Piedmont, Italy accompanied these steaks nicely without breaking the bank. Appetizers: Probably the BEST steak tartare I've had... the horseradish cream and truffle... ugh. I'm drooling again thinking about it. The Burrata was perfection, just like it should taste and just like I had in Italy. I would come back here just to eat these apps again. We, also, ordered the wicked wedge, robuchon potatoes, mac & cheese and brussel sprouts. All were great especially the wicked wedge (large enough to split into 2 with a super yummy blue cheese dressing and perfectly crispy candied pecans) and the robuchon potatoes (I have requested to be buried with these amazingly butter packed, creamy potatoes). The brussels were a nice slightly spicy sweet with the chili orange glaze but could've been slightly crispier and the mac & cheese was good, but I expected more flavor for $16. You know we had to have dessert! I chose the ice cream sundae with brownie bits as the complimentary dessert for my husband who happily ate every bite, and we, also, tried the chocolate tart with peanut butter - this was made with dark chocolate and when Gentry compared it to a peanut butter cup, he wasn't wrong. This is an upscale peanut butter cup though, with the peanut butter on the side! At the end we were brought chocolate chip cookie petit fours (a sweet, complimentary ending to your meal). Overall, I would 100% come back here to spend our money. Definitely a regal experience! Keep it up guys!

Yelp
Not a lot open on Labor Day, to my luck right across the street from my hotel was Wicked Butcher. Had the Wicked Eggs, Truffle Caesar and Chocolate Tart. All 3 executed to the highest level. Each item paired with a libation to pair. I sat at the bar, went in around 5pm so expected it to be quiet, add that's it was a holiday I had the undivided attention of the bar staff and manager. Spent 2 hours there in merriment immersed in conversations of food and travel. Will 100% be back to try main course dishes.

Yelp
Such a sophisticated and lovely space! Service 10/10, they couldn't have been more attentive and friendly! Our server offered a few tasty recommendations that we did order. We ordered way too much, but everything was so good! If we are ever in the area again, we'd definitely return!!

Yelp
My partner and I were guests at the hotel and since experiencing the hotel restaurant is absolutely our jam, we made reservations for 9:30 on Valentines Day. We arrived at 9:30 on the dot and were greeted by a nice gentleman. The restaurant was busy and after about a 15 wait we were taken downstairs. The restaurant is dimly lit and warm. I had requested a booth and was pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort. Shortly thereafter we were greeted by our waiter Jacob. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu for the night was a special 3 course for $135 each. You could also do a wine pairing for $75. Since we received a complimentary glass of champagne upon seating and we knew we'd want to order different drinks, we skipped the wine pairing. I ordered Prosecco and my partner a Smoking Barrel. The first course was dressed raw oysters which came in a pair. I'm partial to grilled oysters but I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the lightness of them. Outside of the slight grittiness, they were good. For second course, I chose the carpaccio and my partner the burrata with tomatoes and grilled bread. Chef's kiss! For the third course, I opted for the petite filet and my partner the lamb chops. Both were amazing but the filet absolutely stole the show! For dessert, mango cream brûlée and strawberry olive oil cake; both incredible. We were both extremely happy with dinner, service and ambiance. Huge shout out to Jacob and John their hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
08/19/24 Sunday 5:30. Went for restaurant week. The restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated. The server was attentive without being intrusive. The experience itself was hit or miss. You start with a sampling of champagne, it is a wonderful surprise. The one bite item which was a cheese ball of some sort with a delightful aioli. That was a surprise as well, followed by popovers. Those were heavenly! The starters were completely unexpected. The gazpacho was a little salty but once you had a bite with the asparagus it was a perfect balance. The entree was a filet with pomme potatoes and asparagus. The filet cooked perfectly except it needed a sauce of some sort as the flavor was just salt and pepper maybe. Our deserts were buttermilk blueberry pie. Tasted a bit flat and maybe old. At the end the server offered coffee after our dessert was finished. Better late...

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch at 12:15 today. 2 prime rib sandwiches and small Cesar's Salad. Kitchen service was VERY slow. Restuarant was almost empty, so no reason for slow kitchen service. Waitress was attentive and not the one responsible for slow service. French fries were hard and crunchy with some being soft and soggy. Prime Rib sandwich was nothing special. Not sure how they have 4 stars.

Berenice S.

Yelp
The steak was okay, the mushrooms were amazing and the cocktails were amazing. I was expecting better taste or more flavor for the price but the service was exceptional.

Yelp
My family and I went here this last weekend and tried several of their dishes and drinks. The restaurant is located downtown FW but you can only get parking validated if you use the Sinclair valet. Note the Sundance Square garages are NOT validated. When we were seated, the staff brought out these interesting bell-shaped bread which tasted like a mix of bread and choux dough so we didn't feel overly stuffed before our meals. We were surprised when our waitress also brought us risotto balls, which my nephew loved! For the appetizer, the Hamachi crudo was our favorite since it was refreshing and fish was fresh. For the main course, the sea bass was a light dish with a good, mild flavor for a seafood dish which contrasted with the steak dishes which had a great seasoning that was complimented by the sides. The desserts we tried were contrasting in flavors and textures. The olive oil cake was dense with somewhat of a cornbread texture. The creme brulee was light as typical of the dessert. The chocolate tart was very rich. We were again surprised by the end of our meal with mini cookies! The staff was amazing and attentive the entire night! We plan to return to check out the rooftop bar next time!

Yelp
Sadly enough, I expected much more. Positives: Great design and decor. Negatives: Limited cocktail menu Service was below par. We sat with empty cocktail glasses way too long whole we could see our waitress flirting with a table of men. Food. No comp bread so we didn't get a chance to enjoy what others report as good. Fried artichoke appetizer was just ok. Over fried in our opinion. Filet was luke warm and butter just sat on top and didn't even melt. Brussel sprouts just, ok. Chicken was good. Like others have mentioned here, shame because this place could be all of that.

Yelp
Wicked Butcher is our new favorite Fort Worth restaurants. We've had several in the past even when we were driving all the way from Dallas. We dined at Wicked Butcher for restaurant week and we are anxious to try the regular venue. Everything about Wicked Butcher is first class. It starts with valet parking. The atmosphere is great. Being served a glass of champagne by the manager sets the restaurant apart. Gia was our server and she was awesome. My wife ordered the Caesar Salad and raved about it. I ordered the Braised Tenderloin Hummus and enjoyed it. What made Wicked Butcher our new favorite is the Filet Mignon. We both ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. We've never eaten a filet as tender. While we dined the manager came by and asked how it was. We told him best ever. We'll be back soon and bring friends.

Yelp
I don't even have words for our experience, but let's try. First off, we were looking for a fine-dining steak experience while in town at our visit at the Stockyards. We almost didn't come because we didn't want to leave the stockyards, but it was 10000% worth it!!!! Let me say this; I've eaten at a LOT of fine-dining steakhouses around the country and this is my top 2 favorite experiences I've EVER had. We arrived a little earlier than our reservation start time and started with cocktails at the bar. I loved the seating area near the bar -- a couch near the high tops. The mood is sexy, elevated, and still full of that Texas country flare. A perfect ode to DFW. Our cocktails were amazing -- then we were seated in the downstairs dining room which is a very cool vibe. We were one of the few guests for a later reservation time, so it was a very quiet, romantic setting. Perfect for date night. My FAVORITE touch, they greet you at your table with a champagne toast I need every restaurant to do this!!! Service impeccable. The dry aged ribeye was delightful. One of my top steak experiences hands down. If you love truffle, the table side shaved truffle butter is EVERYTHING. And the wedge salad, don't even get me started. BEST wedge salad I've ever had. I could drink the dressing If you're looking for an incredible experience with the food and flavor to blow your socks off, this is the spot. Can't wait to come back!!

Barb C.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner tonight. The Lena Pope Charitiy meals was the reason, but we would definitely return. Jacob was an excellent waiter and John, the GM brought us champagne and also came to check on our dinner experience.

Jando S.

Yelp
Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Wicked Butcher is definitely a top destination for one of the city's best steakhouse options. Their main operation is actually in the lower level (#1) of the Sinclair Building, which houses a number of the area's most popular businesses. Overall, this is a place worth checking out, just be prepared to pay for it. Since the restaurant is technically on two levels with the bar and lounge on the ground floor with the restaurant on the lower level, there is a substantial amount of seating options. It is ultimately a very darkly lit, but modern, contemporary establishment that is perfect for a date, groups, and special occasion dining. They take reservations, however, parking is mainly street and/or valet. As per their slogan, they consider themselves "purveyors of fine meat" and I wouldn't disagree. Their cheapest option is a 8oz filet mignon at $53, but our group went harder with a tomahawk at $165 for 32oz of dry aged meat. It was excellent. It was a perfect medium rare and the sear was close to flawless. The meat itself was extremely tender, the presentation was excellent, and the seasoning was on point. I just wished there was more than 32 oz of steak. There were a number of highlights from our meal that included multiple items, such as their robuchon mashed potatoes which was incredibly rich along with their sweet corn crème brûlée. The brussel sprouts were a little too charred for my taste, but I think the biggest disappoint was their mac and cheese with the added lobster meat. The latter was the priciest side but the least satisfying dish. There is a whole section of just sauces and butters for their steaks, which I love. The table side truffle butter ($10) is probably the biggest treat, but the lobster butter ($6) doesn't seem far behind. Whether it's chimichurri, herb butter, or worcestershire butter, I think there's a little something here for everyone. For folks looking to indulge additionally, the hamachi ($21) and salmon crudo ($21) are worth checking out. We also had the wicked eggs ($16), which were just fancified deviled eggs with paprika and quinoa. The roasted bone marrow is the ultimate indulgence, topping the menu at nearly $30 a portion. The service is what impressed me the most. They were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. They also made stellar recommendations and ensured they we got everything from the food to our cocktails on time. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to come back to Wicked Butcher, I just hope it's sometime soon. ____________ (#1) Is it okay to call it a basement?

Hailey F.

Yelp
So, I was hoping to speak to the manager instead of writing this review, but they were "in the middle of dinner service" and didn't want to take my call. I was just there, they weren't too busy and their most well dressed staff (most likely the manager) was standing at the host stand chatting and I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked out the door...Says a lot about management. Is this supposed to be fine dining? Because your prices certainly reflect it. Quality was sub par and the overall experience was not worth the money spent. I came to Wicked Butcher this evening to enjoy a steak while I was in town on business. I ordered the dry aged ribeye and mushrooms. Service was great, which is why I felt bad saying anything. After I left, I decided to call because it just wasn't right.... I spent $140 on dinner (for one) and I'm currently sitting in another restaurant eating. My leftovers went to a homeless man wandering around downtown. When my steak arrived, I was sure they accidentally brought me a NY Strip (I questioned if this was the cut I ordered and I was assured it was). The steak was literally at least 2.5 inches thick, dry (understand it's "dry aged" but that doesn't mean it's dry on the inside) and flavorless. It wasn't overcooked, which was surprising. I think the chef took the worst cut out of the drawer and it made its way through expo, to the food runner and finally, to my table (all without anyone questioning the quality.. how many eyes is that?). My ribeye had zero fatty rib cap, it was instead encapsulated with a thick band of grissel, which is fine if the flavor is good throughout. Mushrooms were flavorless and the quantity for $ was poor. I'm sorry I wasn't given a chance to speak to to management to provide my constructive criticism because this post would not exist - this was a missed opportunity to recover your guests bad experience. - poor quality for the value - food lacked flavor - zero recovery for negative experience. if you were running around busy, I would understand why you didn't take my call

Shelley G.

Yelp
We ordered the Sinclair breakfast and the breakfast tacos, both to die for, especially tacos. Place was busy so the GM, Kayla stepped in and was outstanding! Highly recommend!

Clara E.

Yelp
The Wicked Butcher may be my favorite steakhouse in Texas. The service is impeccable and starts with a complimentary champagne toast, which was brought out by the manager, and a tiny little one bite appetizer. On both of our visits, the appetizer was different. This time it was a fried risotto bite. We enjoyed the dressed oysters, hamachi crudo, and salmon tartare for appetizers. All three dishes were fresh and displayed lots of unique flavor combinations. For our main course, we had the center cut filet and the bone-in strip, both with truffle butter. The truffle butter service was really cool and it added a nice touch of creaminess and flavor to the steais. The brussel sprouts were the typical fare. For dessert we had a lavender creme brulee with a mango raisin chutney. My husband says it's his favorite creme brulee to date. The chocolate tart was served with a salty peanut butter cream that was decadent and delicious. This was our second time dining here and we cannot wait to go back. As far as steak houses go, it's superior and reasonably priced. Check them out for your next date night.

Yelp
Boss Lady and I had a work related dinner here and loved it! She had the boneless ribeye and I the bone-in filet (didn't know it existed) with brussel sprouts and brule corn. She even liked the Ceasar salad. The Wcked sundae was sinful and delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection (medium rare), and the sides were great. The drinks were cold and refreshing. The staff are attentive and in good cheer. Great ambiance for a romantic, intimate dinner with a loved one. We'll be back!

Yelp
Food: 3.8 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 My best friend and I went for DRW but didn't realize that Wicked Butcher only participated in restaurant week for literally a week (Houston's is for an entire month). We still ordered everything we wanted from the restaurant week menu. The hostess led us to a spacious booth at the corner of the restaurant. Shortly after we sat down, my best friend spotted a cockroach crawling around the booth. I didn't see it but we were quickly moved to another table. One of the servers (or managers?) gave us a complimentary glass of champagne as an apology which was nice. -Complimentary Bread: One of the better breads that I've eaten. This was so fluffy and soft. It was hallow on the inside. The house made butter was a bit salty but paired well with the bread. -Hamachi Crudo: Pretty good. There were large, thick pieces of yellowtail and it tasted fresh. Not the best I ever had but it was solid. -Ginger Miso Chilean Sea Bass: We weren't crazy about this one. The sea bass wasn't quite melt-in-your-mouth like we had hoped for. This dish was Indian inspired - it came with basmati rice, cashews, and curry. While I love Indian food, I wasn't a huge fan of the flavors in this dish. I wish the sea bass was over a bed of risotto instead. -Brussel Sprouts: More salty that I would have liked but it was good. -Strawberry Creme Brûlée: My favorite thing that I ate from that night. Not too sweet and satisfying. Once we were close to the end of our meal, we noticed a couple sitting in the booth that we originally sat in. And a few minutes later, I think there was a complaint about a cockroach again. I hope this establishment works on getting rid of those things. I'm rating this 3 stars because I wasn't blown away by anything. Especially for the price that we paid for. It was good but I don't know if I'd go back.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Great hospitality and vibe! The food to die for. However, I am from Florida and it's rare to find a good steak house that can measure up. Out of the handful of classy steakhouses I've been too throughout the nation, I'd definitely say this at the top of my list, if not #1! Things that you have to absolutely try, besides the steak, corn crème brûlée, Brussels sprouts and their daily chef specials. What is this you ask? A little clever something that the chef shared from the kitchen to make your experience that much better. Definitely recommend!!!

Yelp
Went to celebrate an anniversary, without thinking much of mentioning it, our table was greeted with complimentary champagne and a cheers to 4 years. Our server, Ian, is extremely knowledgeable on the menu and can guide your taste buds through the courses and wine list fluidly. We've only dined for lunch before, so our first time being downstairs was amazing! It's a very intimate and romantic setting, perfect for date night. Everything was better than we expected, we even got a complimentary dessert at the end of our evening. I got the Ginger Miso Sea-bass (more of a yellow curry taste, phenomenal), and my partner got the 32oz Tomahawk, with the creamed spinach to share. Unfortunately, by a couple bites in we were stuffed but when good foods in front of you, why waste it? I highly recommend Wicked Butcher for a date night!

Yelp
This place was so good! Right across the street, literally from the AC hotel. Street parking only from what I saw. This place has great food, great service, and a beautiful interior. They do have a upstairs rooftop, but it's only open on the weekends from what I saw. The bone marrow was so good, I've never had bone marrow with Barbacoa on top, but it actually really worked. The steak was really good but I forgot to get a picture. Very flavorful on its own. They make their own steak sauce in house so make sure you ask for that. The asparagus risotto was very heavy on the asparagus, but it was still very creamy. The drinks were delicious as well will definitely be back. Also shout out to the hostess because I need a pillow to sit on because I just had surgery and she literally found me a pillow. Kudos.

Yelp
I was super excited to take my husband here for he's birthday as I've always thought it looked beautiful. The decor is modern, the ambience is great and the people on the hotel lobby level were super friendly and polite. We got taken downstairs to the larger area which was also pretty. Our server immediately told us they were running way behind on service so to get our orders in asap. It was Tuesday so I would hate to think what a weekend would be like. She brought out water, took drink and appetiser orders and brought out a little amuse-bouche from the chef which was a nice touch. They also brought out a glass of champagne for each of the guests as it was a birthday, another nice gesture which is how my review made it to a 4. Then it started to go down hill. They did give us complimentary pop over rolls which were great. To start We got the wicked eggs, great and the bone marrow, it was good but they put a lot of what tasted like pot roast on top which I think too away from the actual marrow, the bread was great though. Now for the steak. The whole table got steak. The 3 that got the 8oz fillet cooked medium said it was good and my hubby said the lobster tail was delicious. Myself and another got the bone in strip not the best. I asked for mine to be cooked medium/rare it came out well done. It took soooo long to come out I didn't want to send it back. I also ordered a $10 truffle butter which she brought out after I was done eating on a knife as a sliver, I was still charged $10 for less than a teaspoon amount I got after I ate. She also forgot our side of mac but brought it out whilst we were putting leftovers in to go boxes, frustrating. The other sides we received were yummy the spinach, potatoes and cauliflower were great the corn was interesting. They did also bring out a free birthday cake at the end which was lovely and it tasted so good. So the little touches that were unique helped the place hold onto my higher rating, but I wouldn't rush back when there's so many amazing steak places in Fort Worth. No

Yelp
I visited Wicked Butcher with a coworker on a Monday while working in downtown Ft Worth for the week. I got the salmon and it was delicious! My coworker got a caesar salad and I was jealous because it looked delicious. We enjoyed our meals. The service was good. There were not too many people in the restaurant yet due to us going around 5/6pm. Fast forward to Thursday, I had been thinking about my coworker's caesar salad all week, I had to go back for one before leaving town! This time I go alone for lunch and sit at the bar to enjoy a drink and a meal. The bartender was super friendly, she was attentive and made sure I enjoyed my drink she made. The caesar salad tastes exactly like it looks (view pic), amazing lol. The house-made croutons are everything! I spoke this place up so much I did a to-go order to take to my friend in Dallas. He was just as impressed as me! :D

Yelp
I've eaten here three times and have been left underwhelmed each time. Food is 4-4.5 star but the service is terrible. First visit I ordered an app and main - the app and other's salads came with everyone's main, with the exception of mine since my main didn't show up. By the time the waitress came to check on the table, everyone was done eating so I passed on their offer to make my main. Second and third visit it was the service again, always understaffed. App dishes are never cleared, they just push them aside and serve the main course. No follow up, you get you meal and you are on your own u less you manage to flag someone down. Good potential with the food, the service kills it.

Yelp
I suggest if you're having the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer you just wait until you're finished with it to order a main course. The shrimp and the dipping sauce are perfect. They serve five of the biggest cold peeled shrimp I have ever seen in a restaurant. And I ate them all! Trouble is, I also ordered a steak and there was nothing to do but put it in a "to/go bag"and take it home. The vegetables are sensational, especially the buttered, tender, asparagus shoots. Service was perfect. Extremely courteous, attentive, informed and appropriate! Atmospheric conditions are excellent too with a wide staircase leading to main dining below sidewalk level at Sundance Square. The wine list is breathtaking, including the prices! It took a moment, but I shopped around and bought the cheapest Malbec ($55) on the menu, a little Argentinian number I had never heard of, and everyone at my table, including some pretty fancy wine-sipping types,, thought it was perfect. To quote the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back!"

Yelp
OMG is all I can say everything is amazing from the glass of complementary glass of champagne to the amazing service. The ambiance is great for a date or just getting together. The bread you have to try the bread, it reminds me of thanksgiving, so good. Make reservations a few days in advance, totally worth it!

Yelp
Yummmmm! Wicked butcher is definitely a hidden ft worth gem. When you walk downstairs to your table you instantly feel like you're transported to a different time. The restaurant is cozy and beautiful. It's wonderfully romantic, from the low lighting to the candlelight. The staff dress so cute.. I love the converse. They are also some of the friendliest people in a time where customer service is often a lost art form they shine. When you are first seated you are greeted with a glass of champagne and an amuse bouche (great touch). Now on to the food. We started with the tuna and salmon tartare and it was amazing. I haven't stopped thinking about it. All the food was good, the drinks were good, and if you want a good steak this is the place. I was too full to have dessert but they looked good. My birthday is next week so I plan to go back

Yelp
This was the second time we have been here. We came here for our 3 yr anniversary & this year was our 5 yr. Let me start by saying we will go back 1000 times again. Food is Uh-MAZING. But the difference in two yrs did change a lot. The first time we went, we felt under dressed our waiter was great and treated us like we were the king and queen of the building. We felt very special our first time there. Food was amazing and everything was so much more than I could ask for. Jump forward to this year. We dressed much nicer and felt over dressed. Our waiter once again amazing, floor manager amazing took time to come talk to us. However did not feel like king and queen this time. Food was so good when you think they can't get better they do. I would go there a thousand times again.

Yelp
Where to even begin....once of the best restaurants I have been to. The attention to detail was bar none! Very much enjoyed the upscale ambiance. Decor was on point - modern and swanky. Liked the individual table lights, they always make for great mood lighting. Service was top notch. You are served complimentary champagne and ceviche from the Chef. It makes you feel appreciated and valued as a patron. Great touch! Our actual server, Alex, was beyond amazing. Funny, engaging and attentive. Now onto the food.... here's how good it was...we were talking and I was telling a story and mid-bite completely forgot what I was talking about and had to stop enjoy the food some more. It was quite funny but a testament to how good it was. I would consider myself a foodie. Someone who eats out a lot. I have visited a lot of cities in the U.S. and have experienced high-end dining experiences and this was as I said one of the best I have been to. I commend the Chef, Owner, and Staff, well done!

Yelp
Awful service. Johno at the host desk was terrible. Half empty restaurant and they wanted us to wait for a table. Too many other, much better options in Fort Worth. This place isn't worth your time, because we were not worth their time.

Yelp
Sat at the bar and had a few glasses of Prosecco. The bartender was super nice. We had already eaten dinner and decided to try their Wicked Sundae which was super good. It has little sweet popcorn chunks in it. Great atmosphere. Nice and dark and a view of the downtown streets for people watching. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday evening for dinner. We didn't have reservations, but came a little early. It got a lot busier as it got later. There seemed like there was more seating downstairs, but the main floor was pretty small and intimate. Our server was great and made good recommendations. We walked here from our hotel and I am not sure if there is any nearby parking. My wife got the asparagus risotto and I got the dry aged ribeye. We shared the mushrooms and the Brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious and and the portions were huge

Yelp
First of all my mother and I thought we had reservations and didn't. The manger Jono was very accommodating, told me not to worry. Luckily for us we got seated in Brook's area, she was absolutely amazing! Brook knew the menu very well and offered great recommendations . I had the filet mignon with the best mash potatoes. My mother had the sea bass with the jasmine rice. We enjoyed our meal I definitely recommend Wicked Butcher. 10 out of 10

Yelp
This restaurant has great food and treats it's customers wonderfully. I had a group of 7 and the evening was efficient, the food was wonderful, and the wait staff was friendly and informative. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Yelp
The team at this restaurant is so strong. Very well trained and diligent on watching a needs during your dining experience. The Rosemary popovers were delicious. The pork and chicken dishes we ordered were also prepared perfectly. So good

Yelp
My wife and I went for dinner for our anniversary and it was absolutely fantastic. Everything from the cocktails to the food and most of all the service was incredible. After trying various other highly recommended steak houses and leaving very disappointed and not being able to justify the cost for a mediocre steak and basic service, Wicked Butcher exceeds the standard on all fronts.

Yelp
One word ISABELLA!! She rocked and knocked experience into the stars. She was giving the entire time from her style to her presence to her presentation of my cocktail with a stylish flair just wow. She honestly made the meal for us her service was beyond greatness it was a whole vibe. I had my first Father's bday brunch and the food was great. The steak was cooked to my liking although a little smaller in size than I usually get I was still satisfied with the overall taste. Once again Isabella came through with the presentation of the steak. It's very hard to find good servers who are passionate about giving an amazing experience and she delivers over and beyond. We want to go back but only when she is there.

Yelp
I've dined here a couple of time and have enjoyed my meals and service each time. I've had their Brussel sprouts, Mushroom Melange and Corn Crème Brûlée as our sides. All delicious. For my main entrees, I've had both the Herb Roasted Chicken and the Seared Salmon. While they were both very good, my preference was the salmon. Service was quick. The restaurant itself has a nice warm and upscale feel without being pretentious. It's a nice place to dine when in Downtown Fort Worth.
