LOVEEE Wiens!! I try to visit at least once a week— whenever friends or family are in town, it’s the first place I take them. The atmosphere is always welcoming, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, food trucks and live music on weekends, and they’re pet friendly! (: Also, BIG shoutout to Michael! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, always provides quick service and actually listens to what you like and don’t like. When I first moved to Temecula, I only ordered Cabernet, but Michael helped me branch out and discover other wines I now enjoy. My current favorite is the Cote Noir—a bold blend of Malbec and Petite Sirah! It’s sooo good! (: If you live locally, I’d recommend signing up as club members. I signed up for the Reds club, which offers up to 8 tastings a day which is an insane deal compared to other wineries! Thank you Michael and staff for taking great care of your customers! (:

My wife and I decided to try a new winery last Tuesday and found ourselves at the beautiful Wiens Cellars. After nearly five years of living in Temecula, we’re always excited to discover new spots, and this one did not disappoint! Scott guided us through a fantastic tasting that we shared, and we were truly impressed by their selection. Their reds are complex and delicious, their whites are crisp and refreshing, and there’s something enjoyable for every palate in between. The staff was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. Though we didn’t get a chance to explore the indoor space, the outdoor seating area was spacious and inviting—we’re already looking forward to coming back and enjoying it. Wiens Cellars is a perfect spot for a couples’ date, and we highly recommend it.

Dog friendly. Kid friendly. Presumably adult friendly, too, given the amount of wine involved. The Tasting Room is relaxed and comfortable—think “I could sit here all afternoon” comfortable. The Cellar Room patio offers the same laid-back vibe, plus you can bring your dog, which automatically makes the wine taste better. The outdoor spaces are spacious enough for kids to run around without knocking over anyone’s glass (a miracle in itself) and the scenery is as lovely as the wine list. Food trucks seem to rotate, which means your odds of variety are high, and your odds of disappointment are low. Highlights: the 2021 Herder Cabernet Sauvignon and 2023 Refugio Primitivo Futures. Both worth writing down so you don’t forget after your third pour. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable without making you feel like you need a degree in oenology to keep up. Five stars. Would sip again.

UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER I can’t tell you how many times I’ve visited since my review a year ago when I joined the wine club! Every visit has been worth the drive. Michael Hall is usually my wine expert, but the few times he wasn’t there we had someone nice too. He is always super knowledgeable about all wines, very personable with everyone around see him assisting, super patient with questions, and so much fun to chat with between pours.😊😊😊 This review is because we attended the kick off of the summer concert series! We had a large group and Michael, once again was an absolute joy!! The setup for these concerts was so cool! Tables on the lawn with umbrellas, open grass area near the stage, vendors setup around the perimeter, and live music before the concert even started! They thought of everything. They only had one food truck so options were limited, but I think they were expecting two more. The Summer Concert Series is a great way to spend your weekend so check it out if you can! I LOVE coming here even on a random weekday, but my favorite times are when they have great live music. ___________________________________________ This is always my favorite winery in the valley! This trip was no different, except I finally decided to join their wine club. Michael in the lounge was so nice! They had live music and the wines were wonderful. My favorite new find was the Malbec! The grounds are beautiful and they have multiple options for seating and tastings. I’m looking forward to returning very soon to experience some of the member only perks! If you’re visiting the area this is by far one of the BEST to experience dry sparkling and bold reds with lots of blends too!! I forgot to take pics.

Had a great tasting at Weins yesterday; tasted a few good white wines and several great reds. They have some amazing Italian red varietal blends, delicious! Thanks, Deb, for a wonderful wine tasting experience!

The events team helped my fiancée and family plan the most beautiful proposal day! I was completely surprised but have been told they were a dream to work with. The staff was so sweet and attentive even on a busy Saturday! What a perfect day!

Great wine tasting especially if you are a cellar room member. Great wines especially red cabs. Tim provided a great tasting experience. My favorite is the Ruby Port with a chocolate kiss.

Our first visit here yesterday was exquisite, beautiful! It was a great experience for our wine tasting because Sam is exceptional great. Great vibes, even if it's blazing hot outside. It's cool and relaxing in the pavilion while watching the live music. All the wines tasted so great. We will definitely go back here.💜💜💜

Brynn was our server. She was fantastic. I alway enjoy the service and wine and experience and Wiens, but Brynn was exceptional. patient, fun, informative and welcoming. Great place to have a date.

After living in the Temecula area for many years, I finally went to Wiens Cellars and I'm so glad I did. I had the pleasure of having Tami as my server. She was so attentive and knowledgeable. She quickly figured out my palate. Each wine she poured me was amazing! I can't wait to go back again to see her and experience their delicious wines.

Megan was the absolute best server we could have asked for on a beautiful Saturday for wine tasting. She was attentive to our group of 5, made great recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. She even helped capture pictures for us. Whenever you come, hopefully you get lucky and can sit in Megan's area. Thanks girl!

since this winery was sold the service and wine quality have done downhill. when you walked in it has a very sterile vibe vs the welcoming atmosphere it use to have. the staff is uneducated on its wine and the quarry is subpar. I've been visiting this winery for almost 15 yrs and was a wineclub member. decided to visit recently and wished I hadn't. all it is now is the "name" nothing else. as they say, what's in a name, in this case allot

This was my first time and our friends are longtime members! Megan was utterly delightful and gave us whatever we wanted to try! She couldn't have been friendlier even though she was managing a lot of tables! I had never tried their wines before and I was a fan of every single one! How often does that happen? Never! I just had to get a bottle of there, delectable Sauvignon Blanc! Now, if only I can get to it before my husband does! Next time, we will go to their barrel room when it is opened! Put this on your list when you were out in wine country! They have so many choices of wines And all of the notes my favorite tunes!

Couldn't of started off in a better place than Weins Family Cellar. Bottles of wine are relatively in expensive and you can tell this place is a locals favorite. Service can be a rather long as the service needs a bit more of organization. THEY DO NOT HAVE FOOD HERE but you can purchase food from the food trucks that are parked outside an inconvenience for me but happy to know they have the option.

It's a great winery. Lots of open space; indoor and outdoor. Very family friendly location. They had a singer for people outside and taste and relax. The people are extremely friendly and gave great information on the wines. Just had an amazing tasting. And would love to go back and taste again.

My friend is a member of the wine club & he wanted to have a lil birthday get together here. He set up 'an experience' in the tasting room for us all - charcuterie, about 7 different wines, & time to savor each. The room was dim & it was nice to be surrounded by barrels of wine from floor to ceiling! After the formal/ official tasting, we moved to the patio, where we had more wine tasting, chatting, & even live music! The nice thing about this particular winery is they allow you to bring your own food to enjoy with their wines on the patio. Altogether we bought about 2 cases of wine - it was such a nice experience & they have lovely staff... great way for them to sell all that vino!

Was there yesterday. Had Tami in the barrel room! She was amazing, knowledgeable and took great care of us. Guied us through the tasting experience l. Overall made our final stop of the day great. Very helpful in the selection of wine to purchase. Walked out with more than I planned because it was good She got a feel for our taste and pinpoint the wine we would most like. The atmosphere was relaxing and they has great ac!!

Awesome spot to help highlight the efforts of rescue organizations, such as California Paws and Southern California Bull Terriers Rescue. Seeing the pups among the vines while having good food and excellent wine is the best feeling in the world! Thank you Wiens Family for hosting such an excellent event.

Food was amazing, they have different food truck vendors every week however so far every time we've stopped by it's been delicious. Live music on Sundays at 2pm is always the perfect tune and volume in the background at the perfect temp. Sam was our server at our visit and she was super friendly. Absolutely loved her, she will be the reason we are back! She had the best recommendations and explained the flavors with excellent detail. Nothing better than a perfect wine tasting with excellent background. Amazing experience 10/10.

A rescue that I volunteer with hosted an event over the weekend and it was such an overall great experience. Who doesn't love dogs and wine? The service was great. Amy was a great host and any questions we had, she was more than happy to answer. The event ran smoothly. I will definitely come back with my dog!

We love and appreciate good wine and Wiens (pronounced Weans) definitely has it. Without a doubt, the best wine we have had in Temecula to date. Absolutely the place to go for red wines in the Temecula Valley. Although the Vermentino (an Italian white varietal) was excellent, too - we purchased two bottles. Our favorite red was the L'Autonomie - a Bordeaux blend - got 2 bottles of that, too. But we also loved the Red Crowded - a mostly Sangiovese blend, the Reserve Cab, Reserve Malbec, Reserve Petit Sirah and Bare Knuckle Petit Sirah. Actually their new Reflection - Sangiovese, Cab Sauv- was also really good. Definitely a must stop at all future visits to Temecula. Our server Jade, was so friendly and just a wonderful person. And our server Scott was extremely knowledgeable and personable as well. Absolutely recommend!

I've been here a few times and after going back I have to ask myself why I waited so long since last time? I stopped in alone killing time while I waited for a friend to get into town thinking of enjoying a glass outside under the awesome patio. I ended up staying inside and tasting instead while having nice conversations with several of the staff members. Everyone working there was super nice and friendly. I really enjoyed several of the red wines. It was hard to choose a favorite but the Red Crowded was definitely in my top choices. I work at another winery in town and have been sending people over to you guys left and right!

Super clean, upscale location with GREAT wine and a fantastic, knowledgeable staff. This has turned into our must stop winery when we're in the area. Shout out to Crystal who did an outstanding job helping us wade our way through all the great wines and made it easy for my wife to sign up for their wine club. Now we've got an excuse to come back every two months to pick up our wines and visit crystal!

Now that we are officially members of Wien's family sellers.. We got to enjoy the oak barrel tasting room . This was such a treat, as we were able to taste a few wines that we hadn't tasted before. Such a great experience the staff are so friendly. After our tasting, of course we had to go sit outside and have another one of Carmines sourdough pizzas as sipped a Chardonnay... they are currently out of one of our favorites, the Pinot. So we're really hoping when we come back in February we can load up. In our opinion, this is one of the best wineries in Temecula so if you're going to be a member, this is the place to do it . You can do a tasting every day if you like.

Wiens is the best winery in Temecula Their Reds can not be touched they are the best Tammy is so genuine and really knows her Wine Ask for her when you come Ten out of ten!!

My BFF is a wine club member and he took me for a nice wine tasting. We loaded up on snacks, treats, water, etc., since you are able to bring your own food and use their tables. The grounds are beautiful and you can choose to sit inside or outdoors on the patio. When we went it wasn't busy, but towards the afternoon, it did get busier. It was hot the day we came, so perhaps it deterred many people from visiting. Tasting are roughly $30 for 5 or 6. Ours were free being a wine club member. You also get discounts if you are to buy wines on site, which we did. We truly enjoyed sitting out on the patio with our charcuterie foods and the flow of wines. Our server was great and checked in on us often. This is a wonderful place to wine taste and to bring your picnic items!

Some of the best wine in Temecula Valley and these guys really get hospitality. We went to the Bubbles and Brunch event. The location was stunning. There was live music and exquisite decor, great ambiance.

Woof, Wags & Wine at Wien's Cellars turned out to be such a wonderful event on 06/08/24. Amy (Wien's incredible Marketing Director) and the entire Wien's staff were so accommodating and gracious with their time and the facility/grounds. This combination Adoption Event with Vendors (for dogs & people) was so much fun and a total success for everyone. Having an event at Wien's was truly a blessing for our rescue, California Paws Rescue. They welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to share our rescue and dogs with their customers. The property is absolutely beautiful with an extremely wide variety of wines available for your tasting pleasure. There truly is something for everyone. I cannot wait to go back to visit with my family, including my dog, as they are super dog friendly. Wien's has it all: a great location, incredible wine choices, dog and family friendly, music and food trucks on the weekend, and a top notch staff taking care of your every need. Love Tami!!! She's personable, knowledgeable, warm and knows her shit! I want to hang out with her. A pourer like her makes for a fabulous experience. We bought wine, our friends joined the club and bam...a great time was had by all! The Foume Blanc, Dolcetto, and Petit Sirah were delicious. Best wine experience so far in Temecula! Thank you Tami!

After many visits to Temecula, I had never stopped in. My oh my I am happy I did on this visit. I ended up visiting two days in a row!! As a wine retailer, I could not get enough of their reserve wine. Abel in the tasting room seriously made my day. He was incredibly kind friendly and community oriented - I ended up making friends with the folks beside me. Silvana and Donna were qually kind, welcoming, and made me feel like I'd been visiting there forever. All of us ended up coming back the next day for a reserve tasting (they were members) with Spencer in the barrel room. AS A WSET WINO, HE (his knowledge) and the WINES were VERY IMPRESSIVE. I can't wait to return on my next visit.

I attended a dog rescue event with California Paws Rescue and the grounds for the event were beautiful and very spacious!

Wonderful wine selection! Love the server in the tasting room, personal touch and recommendation at its finest. Highly recommend! Shout out to Sam! She gave us great recommendations. Would definitely be back with my wine lover friends! We especially loved the following: Amour del' orange, sauv blanc, red crowded, amour sangria, refugio cab and rosé.

This is my favorite winery in all of Temecula. Yeah, the wines are excellent, but the service is even better. Our favorite server is Samantha. When we first went, she was our server and she completely sold us on a membership. She has the best upbeat attitude and she's always helped us out with a smile on her face. We've gotten a chance to know her a little better this last time and this young lady is absolutely a gem. Such a great spirit, that's the reason why we keep coming back. Oh, and the Dulce Maria wine helps too. 10/10 would recommend.

A shout out to Donna and Silvana for their amazing customer service. They made us feel at home, so much that we became members. We had a really good experience and their wines and bubblies are really good. Thank you ladies! Ps: this winery lost a star on this review because their manager Sandy was not personable at all. She was supposed to cover the bar and rushed to pour us one tasting (you could tell she did not want to do it as she forcefully clicked our glass with the bottle) and then disappeared. We waited 15 minutes for someone to return and pour us the rest of our tastings.

What a beautiful venue to have an event. We had our California Paws event there with many vendors and it was a huge success. Grounds are beautiful and accommodating to large number of vendors. Wines are great also in their restaurant.

Tami is one of the main reasons I became a member at Wiens! She is friendly and always makes time to give us the best service. I've yet to visit another Temecula winery with red blends as good as Wiens. Ten out of ten recommend.

Came to Wiens with my husband. It was his first time wine tasting. Crystal was our server and she was amazing. We had a great time and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. My husband even took a bottle home.

This is a winery with beautiful surroundings, exquisite patio area, and very nice ambience in the tasting room. Years ago we were members and had to cancel the membership because we lived in Arizona and could not receive shipments from May through September, occasionally into October because the temp was so high and UPS trucks are not air conditioned. In fact, we had to cancel all our memberships once we got a shipment where the wines were 90 degrees upon delivery. Still in Arizona, but we can now make fairly regular trips to Temecula to pick up wines. Joined again!!! Why? The wines are just as good, if not even better, than they used to be. Long story short, we came home from a two day trip with 14 bottles of Wiens wines. We must have spent two or three hours tasting, having the lunch we brought with us, and speaking with Tim and Jade about the wines and wine travels. Tim was our primary server. He is incredibly personable and very knowledgeable about these wines, and wines in general. Tim was also serving several other couples, so Jade would fill in when we needed something. She, too, was knowledgeable and personable and kept an eye out for when we needed something. In addition to the delectable wines, the service is sheer perfection making for a remarkable visit. Temecula has some very inspiring wineries with Wiens being among the best in terms of quality and variety. Stop by, ask for Tim or Jade and get ready for a wonderful morning or afternoon.

Jack made the experience!!! We arrived on a warm Saturday excited to taste wine. We parked easily in the lot, and headed inside. Our door was opened by a kind greeter and once inside two gals greeted us. We paid for our tasting and found a spot inside for our tasting. Jack greeted us and explained the wines beautifully. He took his time with us and knew so much about each wine offered. We enjoyed our tasting and Jack really made the experience memorable. I highly recommend tasting (they have so many fun selections to choose from) and their wine club felt friendly and accommodating. Thank you Jack for making our experience extra special! You are an absolute gem. Grateful for you!!!

Wine is wonderful. Ambience is lovely. But what really made our visit perfect was our unbelievable amazing server Brynn. She immediately welcomed us and cleared an empty table for us. She was kind and sincere - a true asset to Wiens!

What a beautiful surprise. Stopped in for a tasting, Crystal was an amazing server. The property is gorgeous.The red wine is amazing. We were excited to sign up as members. Nice food truck and live music Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. A Temecula must try winery!

Haven't been here in 10 years and now we know why. They don't have any food. Pizza truck on Mothers Day ran out of food at 2pm right when we got there. It was supposed to be open until 5pm. -1 star. The rest of the day was great, jenga was fun, and the combo red wine was the best red I may have ever had.

I am appalled by how I was treated the other day at Weins. As a guest to multiple wine club members I was never treated so badly. Your employee, Sandy, outright verbally abused everyone at our table and treated us like criminals. We had 3 members and 6 cards. Sandy reported our friend for having too many cards, but there was no inquiry. We were treated like we stole wine, and then my friend had her membership revoked and became banned from the premises. I even reported Sandy to the mod, but even the manager had the story wrong and blamed our table for "stealing cards" . Apparently this happened to multiple members. I won't be going back to weins, as a guest nor ever signing up for a membership. Absolutely appalling behavior. My parents have been members to multiple wineries for over 10 years in Temecula, not once was anyone ever treated so badly. Shame on you and your staff.

Almost a decade ago now, we were very close on choosing Wiens for our wedding venue. It in my opinion is a staple in Temecula because of its history and consistency of delicious wines and beautiful landscape. It has become a mandatory stop in our wine tasting adventures in Temecula. They don't have a kitchen but you can find meats and cheeses inside. They also partnered with a taco truck and pizza vendor. Food is excellent. Here is my truthful opinion. I'm a huge advocate for Justin Wines. It was the wine that was featured at our wedding. Wiens comes a second best to Justin. This is 100% a compliment. because when we are not in Paso at Justins, you'll absolutely find us at Wiens.

Customer service was great! Our server was Silvana and she was phenomenal! She helped in selecting the right red wines. She was very patient and helpful! Hope we get her again next time!

Rose was absolutely amazing. she catered to us, this was our first time at this location. She talked us through the menu and made sure our wine selection was OnPoint. There were questions initially, but she guided us through the menu to make sure we understood each selection, and with each selection we were completely satisfied. Again, thank you Rose you are absolutely amazing and Wiens is lucky to have you. Cheers

We absolutely love Wiens, and now we're thrilled that they offer authentic Italian pizzas! Pairing their exquisite wines with such delicious food was the perfect touch we didn't realize we were missing. Thank you, Wiens, for elevating our dining experience and always being so welcoming to us!

Back in Jan we came here for the first time. What a treat. We had a great time and our lady behind the counter was super amazing. We will recommend the winery to our friends and family.

Very disappointed! Came back to Wiens today. Because of the heat, we (again) went to building at the back (old members room). When we checked in to get our membership pour cards, we were told to sit at a table with a menu, so that's what we did. We assumed that these tables came with table service, as we saw other tables nearby being served. Again, nobody came to serve our table. Quite frankly, at this point, the service now sucks. We get basic service for a membership and premium priced wine. When our membership comes up for renewal, unless something changes, we will be moving on.

Delicious wines, friendly hosts with sommelier-level knowledge. and a large tasting room. Our host, Ryan, recommended the best wines for us to taste based on our selections and expressed preferences. If you're finding Temecula winery tasting rooms a little crowded on your visit, Wiens's tasting room can accommodate a large number of groups, so it's a good place to go on a crowded day. Their tastings are moderately priced, and they offer varietals available at few other Temecula wineries. We've been members for a while. We have to drive hours to come and visit, it's always worth the trip! The cellar room tastings are an exceptional experience and a great way to start the day. We almost always end up coming back at the end of the day as it's one of our favorite places. The serving staff is knowledgeable and the operation staff has helped us plan visits with friends that we still talk about.

Great day at this winery. Love this place, and more for the red wines. Been a member since 2018. Silvana is a great! Great knowledge and fabulous customer service!!! Come visit!

Wow! What a great winery in the Temecula Valley! Super delicious wines and great service! If you go in for a tasting, ask for Laila! She's knowledgeable and friendly! We had such a great experience, we signed up as members.
