Great quality pastry, bread as well. Service is very good as well. Neighborhood shop too. Highly recommend.

The cakes here are amazing, especially the freshly made raspberry ones. The ladies at the counter were so friendly and helped me pick out the most delicious one.

I've tried to support this local business a few times. I feel like I get the worse mean mugging every time I'm there. The staff always looks angry and in a bad mood. Communication is zero. I tried many of their breads and if what you're looking for French or Turkish style breads, this is not your place.

Stopped here for Paczkis for the first time. Great Paczki and service. I will stop here again when in the area.

Delicious Paczki! We bought plum and rose. Both were very good, bit our favorite was the rose.

First time there on a Monday before Paczki Day. Very nice and a great assortment of paczkis, breads and other sweets. And although everything was marked to identify each baked item. It was in Polish. A shame for me because I'm not all fluent, but also because I'm Hispanic. But if items were labeled in English, I would know what to pick. I definitely will be back though.

Stopped here a few years ago when me and my girlfriend first moved to the neighborhood. Was treated with seeming contempt from one of the workers. I'm not sure if it was because we were outsiders to her or if it was a racial thing, but was very disappointed to be treated that way. I was pretty excited about having a place nearby where I could get fresh rye bread. After buying a few things that one time, I never came again. The breads I bought were quite good, service and attitude not good.

This place is absolutely amazing! The breads and pastries they make are out of world. They have a great selection fresh bread, pastries, cookies and cakes, which they bake daily. I have yet to be disappointed. Prices are ridiculously inexpensive... and if language is a barrier for some folks, you can still point to what you want :) I suggest getting there before noon-ish, as some of the good stuff sells out rather quickly. A must try.

Breads are really good and so are the cakes . My favorite is the kilimanjaro(idk if I'm spelling it right ) . It's a cake with caramel , apples and sunflower seeds on top . It's so good that we drive all the way from the suburbs to get it it's a really small place so it's packed on the weekends but they move fairly fast . It's definitely worth the wait

Once a week, I work in this neighborhood and enjoy the fact that this bakery is here. However, just now (3/24/17 at about 7pm) I entered the store with one customer ahead of me. I was prepared to spend a decent amount of money, since I was shopping for cast and crew of a theater production. Two more entered and we're helped right away, and I wasn't even acknowledged. Needless to say, I will never return to this establishment, and I will spread the word about how I was totally ignored.

This bakery is very Polish. Which I only mention because the cheesecakes will have a lumpy/grainy texture that is unpleasant for those who are not expecting it. The donuts are delicious but I'm not quite sure when I should walk in to find them, sometimes I walk in at 7am and there are none and then find them at 3pm, I'm never mad when they're there, I am just confused at when is the best time to find them , since they are there seemingly at random times, and I never know if they will be there when I walk in.

I use to love this place under old management. They were always nice and welcoming. The cakes and bread as well as cookies and some fancy stuff was amazing. It's still good here - I just purchased "waffle pipes with cream", two chocolate Rockerballs with alcohol and apple pie. All good except for the staff taking orders. One lady in particular, older in her 50s, tall and big with really short hair. Very unpleasant. I got ready to pay (25 bucks) and I took out my master card with chip. They tried charging it but then said it doesn't work. I know it works because I just got paid, had over 1000 bucks in my account and I just did my nails so you can't tell me I'm broke. But the lady did. So I said it must be their machine and I gave them other card. They said the other card was declined after charging 20 bucks. That's true it got declined only because I forgot I had 23 bucks left. I told the lady to try the first card again or charge only remaining balance to the other card. The mean lady said "u exhausted your limit" haha but no! Meantime the bag with cake started falling from the top of the cabinet so I rushed to save it. The old mean lady screamed to me to stop and let it be and not touch it until I pay. WTF!? In the same moment younger nicer lady tried charging my 1st card and it all worked and went through. But I was charged twice. They said they voided the 2nd card so I'm waiting for my money back. Anyway the point of this story was: why be so mean to your customer? It's not like I'm gonna steal your bread and run away goddmanit... polish people... unbelievable. I'm polish myself but been living in USA my whole life and my momma didn't raise me like this. The old lady looked at me like I'm about to run away without paying hahhaa... Gosh.. no words. I am not going to come back there ever again. I found awesome bakery on Milwaukee and Bryn Mawr next to Andys Deli. It's wonderful and the staff is so nice! I only stoped by this bakery on Belmont/Austin because I was in the neighborhood.

Excellent bread and pastries. Probably some of the best polish cookies I have had in a long time. The bread was delicious and I will definitely be back. Very friendly ladies and it was extremely busy during lunchtime.

I went in and saw this beautiful girl that I lost my breathe. She was wearing this white blouse with red roses and her smile was so soft that the cold from being outside went away. The customer service that she and the other workers offered was outstanding. The cakes were delicious and a must try. I recommend the Balowe cake. The condensed milk along with the whipped cream and shredded chocolate makes the cake to die for.

Polish bakery with so many things to choose from. I hadn't been to one before but my beau had so he was able to pick up various things. Everything was really great. His sister is a big fan of the rum balls.

The Grandmas bread that they have is very good and soft. I also tried many other items and everything is top of the line. You need to go try it yourself and you will be amazed. I definatley recommend it.

This bakery is the best in the area! Everything is fresh and home made. The women working at the bakery are very kind and are willing to let you try samples. Keep up the good work!
