"A staple in the Beverly neighborhood for more than 20 years, Wild Blossom is the only producer of mead on the Northern Illinois Wine Trail. Sustainability is a key practice here because they raise their own bees and collect the honey to make the centuries-old fermented beverage. They also purify and use water from Lake Michigan to produce their wines, such as white honey sangria as well as Chicago Bulls Blood, made from a cabernet, Syrah, and merlot blend. Stopped in for a tasting. Yummy meads and a few wines too. Plenty of room to sit. Nice outdoor area. Meads are more fruit forward flavor. We enjoyed ourselves. Edna was very helpful, friendly, and had some great recommendations. Also found out they hold wine making events from a kit. Can’t wait to do that.

Ok now this is my favorite stop so far. This was a location for a harvest host stop. Places we have stayed so far have been more country but we loved this little gem tucked into the south side. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was breathtaking outside and inside it was elegant . we loved the mead amd the menu. You are parked right by the train tracks so if you are a light sleeper you will hear that, besides that it was quite outside. I loved hearing about the bees too! Great stop!

Friendly, community-oriented place with unique mead flavors! There’s a beautiful back garden where you can enjoy your drinks. The Major Taylor bike trail passes behind the meadery so you could even ride your bike there!

I love this place. It’s a hidden gem in my community. If you know you know. It’s plenty of space to chill and sip wine or catch up with friends . They also have bingo on certain nights for $10. They serve food but the pizza is probably the best option. The wings tasted like they were unthawed & warmed up in the Microwave. I personally didn’t enjoy. The wine is great and house made and they have a full bar. For anyone who enjoys alcohol. The Ambience is amazing. The staff is very accommodating. 10 out of 10 minus the wings not being to my crispy liking. Go experience for yourself you won’t be disappointed. I really was excited to go and taste mead at a black business. I can’t even explain to you how surreal the experience was. Hands down the worst service but the mead was delicious. I highly recommend the caramel apple mead. It was so crisp and smooth. Shame Im never coming back because the hot-chama sounded so good! The mead itself was good and I wanted to buy a case for that 10% off coupon. Fyi if you go get some ear plugs because it was so loud and eat before or after you go there.

I met up with one of my girlfriends here. A great spot to gather and sip on some tasty wine selections. The atmosphere is chill and they have great customer service. I just wish they had better food choices, (reason for the 4 stars) eat before you go. It's definitely a nice after work spot if you're looking to unwind. The Dj that was there the night I went was on point. I enjoyed myself!!!

First time I visited this place was nice. This last time I wish I could rate the food/drinks however we never got served. I noticed that three tables received their drinks before us. One table that had arrived right behind us, another that arrived 10 minutes after us, and the last couple (straw) that sat next to us and arrived 30 minutes after us. They also started blasting the music on a speaker that was 5 feet from us which was giving my wife a headache. So we decided to leave. The host/server then decided to run outside after us to berate us into trying to pay for drinks we never even saw. Will never be going back to this place. "A week later" Hey, thank you for caring. Wouldn't have even rated if I wasn't berated.

Awesome place! Beautiful grounds and winery. Edna was our gracious bartender for the evening.Wine and Meas were delicious, had a flight to try different ones . We order a vegetarian pizza that was out of this world ! The wings were scrumptious! Would stay again !
