"Gowanus is home to some of Brooklyn’s best breweries right now, including locations of Threes Brewing, Strong Rope Brewery, and Finback. On a tour of the neighborhood, Wild East Brewing is worth a stop. The brewery specializes in lagers and pale ales with lower alcohol content. They have notes of honeysuckle, Nilla Wafers, caramel, and cherry cobbler." - Luke Fortney, Eater Staff

"The big, wood-paneled tap room at Wild East gets plenty of light, but it still feels like the cozy basement where that one kid with the “cool parents” would pass around a six-pack of Coors. The huge U-shaped bar at the center serves stouts, lagers, and IPAs that beer nerds approve of, along with some of those over-the-top sours that have become staples of most breweries in recent years. Claim a booth with some close friends, grab a board game, and share a pizza from around the corner. (You’re allowed to bring in outside food.)" - Neha Talreja

I hosted a large art show/performance event at Wild East, and they made the process incredibly easy. The event staff and bartenders are so helpful and accommodating, the space is beautiful and adjustable, and the beer is amazing. Special thanks to Casey, Evan, and Lindsay. I would work with them again in a heartbeat!

Google
First off, great beer selection. They really have a great taste for good beer! Secondly, the owners and staff are so lovely and inviting. I have been here not only for casual drinking, but for several events, pop-ups, and parties! They are always friendly and knowledgeable about the beers that they have made. I love to ask questions about the more complex things!

Great beer, beautiful space, friendly staff. Dog friendly. Love coming here on more off hours like a weekday afternoon to read a book or do some work.

Seems like a good spot. Just wanted to point out an experience I had around October of last year. A white lady had called me a terrible word to a girl who was walking with her. I overheard her as I walked past her and several others who were walking with her. They went into Wild East for this Halloween thing involving dogs. She had the smallest or one of the smallest dogs that was dressed up. What she had said stayed with me. I have felt more angry and bitter ever since.

This brewery is a cool place in a great neighborhood. The beer is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing. The barrel aged Influent had nice floral notes and the No Pretense pale ale had a refreshing body. Try the 5 ounce pours from draft to taste what one might cans or bottles one may want to bring home.

Google
Great brewery! Sampled a bunch, enjoyed the Standard Deviation stout. Nice little semicircle bar. They also had Nate’s Detroit Pizza pop up rolling through, which was great. Barry Sanders would be proud. The water comes out of a lion head. That’s cool. Come on by to Wild East and drink like a beast while having a feast (of Nate’s pizza). You will love it.

Google
Tried and enjoyed two sour beers. Then a third when the bartender generously split a can among the 4 of us who were there at last call. Considering they weren't "fruited" sours, some were fairly fruity which I liked. My favorite thing to do at a breweries/beer bar is get a flight, or get ~4oz pours, but that's not an option here. I asked why not, and the bartender explained that flights can grind things to a halt when it's busy.

Google
My favorite brewery in NYC. Popped in here last weekend and had a great time. The bartender was super friendly, the beers were outstanding, and the brewery's two adorable cats made it the perfect day.

Yelp
Very cool space that was Hosting a party but there Was plenty of room* *pretty good beers too!

Yelp
What a gem! Some friends and I held a game night here, and it was the perfect place to do so! The place was not too crowded on a Sat night; there was no loud music; and the ambiance and staff were very chill. The bar also had a limited but good selection of games to choose from (like Uno and Cards Against Humanity), which saved us from having to bring our own. The bar doesn't have much food, but allows guests to bring in outside food - a rarity in my experience in NYC! All in all, Wild East felt like your friendly neighborhood pub. If you're looking for a spacious location for a chill-night-out, Wild East is your place! I'll definitely be returning!

Yelp
We brought our pup in here and it's great. Dog friendly brewery with very friendly staff. This is our first time here and the staff were helpful on recommending beers, especially the ones that put them on the map. There is also a Malaysian curry pop up shop here,Laksa Shop. We didn't get it but it smelled good and is vegetarian friendly.

Yelp
Came for some Friday evening drinks, this time with our dog as we learned they permit dogs indoors. There were definitely about a half a dozen dogs at any given time, so plan accordingly! They offer dog bowls for water, but considering it can get crowded and loud, I wouldn't recommend your pup if they get too stimulated. Beers are always delicious here, and considering the amount of IPAs most breweries tend to have, we love that WEBC offers a wide range beyond IPAs. The dont have a food menu but occasionally have a food vendor there for limited hours selling a small menu of items; this time was poutine. That aside, they do let you BYOF or have food delivered, which is awesome. We picked up Union Street Pizza around the corner as it was super convienent. We actually only ordered food because... we learned they play some sports! A large screen came down about 7:00pm, only for us to realize they were going to show the 8:30 NY Knicks playoff game. We hadn't decided a place to watch it, so this was perfect. The one massive screen seemed to be visible to the whole brewery, and with the sound on, it was a perfect spot. Looking forward to coming back for future games! Not many breweries show sports, so this was an unexpected win.

Yelp
Always love marking off a New York area brewery. Well, it's not just for this particular area... I always love marking off a brewery I have been wanting to try anywhere and Wild East just happens to be in the NYC vicinity. For Wild East Steve and I enjoyed their Standard Deviation. This beer is a stout which was pretty good. Perhaps not one of the most memorable of stouts that Steve and I had in recent times but I have no real complaints about it either. Flavor features with this stout are roasty, dry, chocolate and a nuttiness along with a creamy body. Very usual characteristics with stouts and perhaps the reason why it didn't stick more was I didn't see much of a unusual signature along with the usual but again... no complaints really, just analysis. It was kind of pleasant drinking stouts more including this one as Autumn is beginning to set in with more chilled weather.

Yelp
Came here with friends for a beer club meetup and had a great time. The space is very large so we were able to hang out in 3-4 large groups without overrunning the place. I love how they have the sinks outside of the toilets because I like washing my hands. The water cups and water fountain coming out of the lion's mouth is very cool too (look down for the foot pump to get the water flowing). The variety of beers was great. I had a Czech pilsner with a side pull as well as a couple of others. Bartender was slammed but kept everyone happy and hoppy. There were no food trucks that evening so I got some tacos from Nene's around the corner and it was perfect. Also, had a celebrity sighting as Willow Pill stopped in for a drink. Will definitely go back!

Yelp
Being in Gowanus, I'm totally spoiled living in brewer's row - can't keep up with all these spots (Strong Rope, Finback, Wild East, Threes, Talea all within meters of each other)! Of all these places, Wild East might be one of my favorites. They have such a beautiful tap room - a nice U-shaped bar you can sit at, and plenty of tables with high ceilings. Amazing outdoor setup too - on a weekend, you'll see plenty of kids, dogs, and young families chilling outside. Their beers are delicious, and they a lot of bottles and cans as well. The customer service is 5 star too - a few months ago, they accidentally lost my credit card when I had a tab open. I had a Chase Sapphire Reserve, so I can assume they probably just mixed up the cards. The employee/manager gave me his contact info to update me, and ended up taking care of my tab! One of my all time faves to grab a beer in the neighborhood!

Rebecca P.

Yelp
This place is lively and a great place to hang out. They have different events from trivia to jazz to comedy with great pop up restaurants inside. The drink selection is broad and creative. Would recommend the turnstyle nopal if you like fruity drinks. I honestly would not recommend the astigmatic as the smoke flavor was overwhelming. Overall this is a great location with drinks that are a great price!

Mae-Elisa S.

Yelp
My friend took me here to try and help me figure out what kind of beer I like! I love breweries but I'm never able to figure out what kind of beer I enjoy. But luckily my friend was there and we discovered that I enjoy Pilsners! They had some very tasty beers and the guy who helped us out was so generous enough to have me try out a couple! He stopped to check on us, chat with us, and tell us all about the brewery. He was super friendly! There are plenty of tables, also seats on the bar and outside. It was such a wonderful time to try out this place!

Li J.

Yelp
I don't always write reviews, but when I do, it'll be for a place as chill as this. Good table space, nice staffs, simple bar design, clean restrooms, music not too loud, good drink selection, outside food allowed.. Just a very nice spot for social gatherings or a game night!

Andrew K.

Yelp
The space itself is pretty cool with lots of seating options. We sat at the bar, which thankfully had open spots. Service was super nice. The beer choices were not my favorite but there is a pretty large variety. Overall pretty chill spot worth checking out if you're not too picky about what variety of beer you'll ultimately get.

Yelp
This is a very nice and friendly brewery in the neighborhood. Loves: + Lots of beers on tap, a lil somethin' for everyone + Spacious and modern design + Event space in the back for birthdays and more + BYO food friendly + Dog friendly (!!!) While there are so many breweries in this area, Wild East is one of the nicer ones in my opinion.

Alex S.

Yelp
It's pretty standard for microbreweries to offer one or two samples of their draft beers, however, when my boyfriend and I politely asked for one sample each, the bartender visibly rolled their eyes in our faces (but still proceeded to bring us samples as that is clearly a part of their protocol?). Our (14oz) beers were then served with a more than substantial amount of foam with a good amount of empty space on top of that, but we didn't want to be obnoxious so didn't say anything. On the second round, though, when we were yet again served half-foam, half-beer glasses, I politely asked if it might be possible to get a little less foam. The bartender barked "IT IS NOT" then proceeded to say this particular pour was already a 16oz beer so we were already getting "more beer" (OK? If it's 16oz then it should just be 16oz? What about that is "more beer" if that's what is listed on the menu?) and then proceeded to tell my German boyfriend and me that it was the "European style of pour" LOL. It's not. All of this would have been forgivable had the bartender not been SO rude and hostile. We were nothing but polite the whole time and this really soured our experience. Will not be going back.

Chris B.

Yelp
It feels like the area has become saturated with high alcohol hazy IPAs, which I do enjoy, but this place offers more variety for the everyday beer lover. Very friendly staff, lots of indoor and outdoor space and if you catch it on the right day, you get an awesome collaboration with some of the cities most underrated food trucks and tasty bites. Great way to spend some time. Just wish there was more regular TV viewing for sports, but that's just my bias.

Alex M.

Yelp
Stumbled in here on a rainy Sunday as we were in the neighborhood and the beer list had much dept (over a dozen on tap + had more in bottles) and breadth (pilsners, ipas, farmhouse ales, multiple barrel aged goodies, etc.). I had never tried (or even heard of) Wild East before, so I figured why not give it a shot? And oh it did not disappoint! My partner and I tasted 7 beers in total (they can do 5oz pours for many of their beers), most pictured - the Mental Gymnastics (DDH IPA) not. We really appreciated the diversity of beers and how all of them were delicious and had rich, distinct flavors (not to mention some were real heavy hitters). Our favorites were the Cosplay: Peach, Turbines & Blackbirds, and Standard Deviation. Service was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful! Will def be back again, and next time may even pick up some to go!

Yelp
Tried a couple of the barrel aged sours as well as a dark and mild. The barrel aged sours. All were excellent. Good service and ambiance.

Yelp
Nestled in what seems to be the brewery district in gowanus is a very popular modern looking brewery with a ton of interesting beer options. I didn't know a ton about the beer at wild East brewing prior to coming for the first time but it seems like they have a strong focus on traditional pilsner style lagers. Both their German and Czech pilsners really hit the spot and had a great subtle bitterness to accompany a crisp sweet backbone. I liked their West Coast style imperial IPA better than their single IPA which ended up being much less piny and bitter than advertised. Great modern industrial space, immediately able to get a seat at the main bar despite the brewery being otherwise pretty packed. bartender is willing to let us sample a couple beers before ultimately deciding. there seem to be a good mix of people on dates and hanging out with friends and family. I would definitely take a group here given the vibe and the quality of the beer.

Ivette V.

Yelp
Came in after attending an event nearby. There was seating at the bar so we sat down and were tended to immediately. The bartender gave us menus and asked if we had any questions. I am not a big beer drinker but have a few I prefer. I gave the bartender examples of beers I like and she gave me a recommendation I enjoyed. I like that they offer different serving sizes of beer which allows you to choose as much as you think you will drink. There is music playing but not too loud. People are friendly. There are also games in the back you can use if sitting at a table. Seems like a chill place to get together with friends. If you are in the area give this place a try.

Yelp
Awesome brewery in Brooklyn that I sort of stumbled upon but Im ever so glad that I did. They have an impressive beer menu that spans just about every style you could possibly want, with a nice mix of everyday menu options and some seasonal offerings all perfectly crafted. I was partial to the Belgian/Saison/funky stuff which there was no shortage of. My perosnal fav was the Peche Dulcet, a blended ale with peaches - amazing. The space itself is pretty large and comfortably accommodate quite few good looking people and even handle larger groups. The tasting room is open, airy and very clean and the service was top notch. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a quality beer in a nice setting.

Jason L.

Yelp
Full Disclosure: a good friend of mine is one of the owners. But that doesn't make Wild East any less of an awesome brewery and must-do experience if you're over in Brooklyn. In fact, it's worth an Uber ride or train from Manhattan just to experience their phenomenal selection of beers, from Czech lagers to Saisons to Stout, and many more hand-crafted beverages by their experienced brewing team. The trio of owners started this venture before the pandemic and have worked extremely hard to not only make this into a thriving business, but also to employ local people, train and empower their staff, and develop meaningful relationships with neighbors and other local business owners. They recently re-started tours and "Beer Class" during the evenings, and have food truck partners on the weekends. Their on-tap selection of beers doesn't go above 5% ABV, which means you'll be able to enjoy many beers and a variety of tastes without getting hammered and passing out on 4th Ave. You can purchase bottles or cans (as can you from a variety of other places in the city). I encourage you to take a trip out to experience Wild East for yourself and enjoy the fantastic selection of beers and Brooklyn neighborhood ambiance!

Jan L.

Yelp
Wild East Brewing Company has a great tasting room and private event space. Amazing craft brewery with awesome beer options. Can conveniently order online for pickup as well.

Lucius R.

Yelp
Love the space, hospitality, and beers. However, having been here a few times on busy nights, they often only have 1 bartender which leads to very long wait times

Haley D.

Yelp
First time visiting was back in July and came back in October. We came for a brewery tour and tasting on a Saturday. We arrived early and sat in the main taproom. We were approached by a friendly staff member who ended up being our tour guide. The main room is spacious and bright. I love the u shaped bar they have and the chairs they have. It's very aesthetically pleasing. They also have a cool water fountain from a lions head. The tasting and tour occurred on the brewery floor. It was a small and informative experience. It was great learning the story behind each beer and asking as many questions as you wanted with no judgement. We even got to meet one of the brewers which was pretty cool. I definitely would recommend this brewery as a great place to hang out and experience great beer. I really enjoyed the table beer we got to share at the end and their Patience and Fortitude Pilsner.

Ingrid S.

Yelp
What a great addition to the Gowanus brewery zone. I can't speak for the outdoor seating. There are some heated seats out in front. But I tried the indoor area recently and its very well spaced out, huge inside, limited party per table, and contactless ordering. They only request you order a bag of chips per table and if you're hungry they have pizza from around the corner at Union pizza that you can order straight from your table. Hours are now till 11pm as well when I think some of the other breweries have been closing earlier. I've tried a pretty good range of the menu at this point: Quiescence - Farmhouse Ale (7.9%) Definitely tasted a robust edge to this with some strong caramel flavors. Maybe a little honey. Maybe a little prune. It's both funky and sweet but balanced well. Apricity - Sour Fruit Berliner Weisse (4%) This was my friend's beer so I only had a quick taste of it. It tastes like straight up orange juice. I really don't actually enjoy orange juice is the unfortunate thing. I was really hoping for more of an Ithica apricot wheat vibe but I was getting more of an aftertaste from having too many mimosas on a Sunday vibe instead. Cosmic Arena - Farmhouse Ale Saison (5.9%) Very drinkable. To me it tasted like having a glass of wine. A little tart, a little buttery. Pass the cheese. I can session this. Let's watch some Dynasty. Moral Dilemma - Imperial Double Stout (8.5%) Chocolate heavy. Hint of cherry? Definitely had more of a barrel aged taste to this one than their other stout. So I definitely preferred the taste of this one more. Rouge Reserve - Sour Fruited Berliner Weisse (4.2%) This is probably one of the best girly lite beers I've tried in a good while. My friend's drink and it tasted like a pink starburst with a bit of a sour kick. This doesn't emasculate him at all. Noncompliance - Imperial Double Stout (9.6%) For some reason I wasn't as crazy about this stout as much as the other one. I don't think I even have a proper reason other than it just tasted heavy and the other had bolder and richer/more complex flavors than this one. Beers can be poured in larger glasses or half pours. Most of them are in wine glasses which is kind of unique. I think the one thing I would have liked is if they had flights. The selection I've tried is from two separate visits lol. But honestly, I was impressed both times. They're reasonably priced, friendly, and have a larger selection on tap right now than what Threes had when I popped by.

M D.

Yelp
Decent beer, but way too many children. I'm not sure why there's a trend of adults bringing their small children to bars, but it's deeply annoying. If bars aren't a safe place to get away from other people's screaming brats, then nowhere is safe. Unfortunately, Wild East has embraced this trend, with screaming five year olds and crying babies all over the place. Hey parents, take your kids to the park, not a bar.

K C.

Yelp
Our group of 5 cane here last night after an event next door. Grateful that they were there for the connivence purpose, but surprisingly and unexpectedly for the varieties of good beers and the yummy remans. I got an east coast IPA. It was very nice. We also ordered a few Tan Tan noodles, a few dumplings, and beers. Everything was great!! The order cutoff time was 10, but we chatted at the outdoor tables till almost midnight. No one rushed us out. Great service! Great outdoor seating!! A really cool and chilled place to hangout with friends, both indoor and outdoor. Left me with such positive experience! Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood!! Tips: Don't forget to order the seasoned eggs in your reman! The egg was beautifully done!;)

Lana V.

Yelp
Such a lovely space to hang out with friends. Plenty of space, amazing beer selection (and wine and cider for those who don't drink beer), fun vibe during the day with babies and dogs welcome and a more adult vibe after 8. I had a birthday party here which was so easy to organize last minute. They let me reserve a table and even offered the beautiful private space while but my friends and I enjoyed the main floor by the bar too much to move. There's board games and option to bring in food from outside. It didn't seem to get over crowded on a Saturday night. I would definitely love to come back.

Dipali G.

Yelp
This brewery had a very industrial brewery aesthetic which was really awesome! The place is very big, there was a baby shower happening in a private room! I came here for a birthday party and thought that idea was great because it was easy to get a few tables together and enough space for us to walk around or hang near the bar. There is a wide array of craft beers on the menu! I would definitely be back again

Sungeun J.

Yelp
Love everything about this place. Spacious, bright and clean space. Wide selection of interesting beer from tap and bottles. Bartender was easy going, attentive and took time to explain menus and make recommendations. Beers are priced reasonably compared to other over hyped places in the neighborhood. This place doesn't serve food so they allow outside food. Plus it's dog friendly, inside and outside. Simply two thumbs up. I live in Manhattan but will come to this neighborhood only to sip good beers and chill out here.

Kathleen X.

Yelp
Such a fun brewery/bar! I came here by chance with a friend since we were looking for a warm place to hang out, and though it was a busy Saturday afternoon we still managed to find seats. I ordered the Supersaturated and my friend ordered the Prescience (I think?). I'm not really a beer person but according to my friend both beers were decent! And as someone who usually actively dislikes beer, mine was definitely drinkable. This seems like an exciting, happening place that's great for crowds (and dog friendly, too)!

Rob W.

Yelp
I'm beyond excited to be able to visit this sensational space when I can actually sit back and enjoy it in its full glory with some fellow beer connoisseurs. In the interim, I'll happy schlep a bit out of my way to buy their excellent beers and take them home to savor. I should note that they do have a few outdoor tables in front of the brewery for current seating options as well. Just to say that the to me, the inside looks just like what you'd want and expect of a brewery/tap room--a huge warehouse smelling of delicious hoppy goodness... feels like a pure beer haven--if it weren't for the 'rona regulations and respect for the workers in there, I think I would have just wandered around for hours soaking in the spot. The masked yet welcoming staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and will be happy to offer descriptions and recommendations. Holly led me in the direction of a few excellent beers based on my preferences (as well as a couple of beers she had recommended to me in the Beer Run shop in NYC). As to those beers, they have impressively diverse offerings, whether we are talking style, delivery method (cans, bottles, crowlers, etc.) and even ABV, which I think speaks to their burgeoning beer expertise. I've tried four of their beers now, and have been incredibly impressed with each. Their Alfresco (Kolsch) and Moon Atlas (Czech Amber) are excellent examples of each style--smooth and drinkable, but with interesting, subtle hints in each--perfect summer brews that are flexible, pair well with food... just delightful. They feature several farmhouse saisons--many featuring my beloved Brettanomyces. I was a bit nervous about the Prescience w/ earl gray--many such experiments fail for me, but this one was exceptional. And there are so many more options... just writing this has made me want to go back up there for another order of whatever I can carry back to South Slope. Impressive that so early in their business, they are producing such sweet, sweet beer.

Mallory L.

Yelp
We stumbled on this brewery in our day in Brooklyn and I'm so glad we did! The bartender, Robin, was so knowledgeable and so fun to talk to. He gave us some great recommendations for what to do and see during our time in New York, and we had a great time hanging out with him! We also enjoyed all the beers we had; we love going to craft breweries and this is easily in our top 3. Each beer was so good and so complex. If we are ever back in NYC, we will definitely visit Wild Easy again!

Chuck C.

Yelp
New brewery in an area that has a ton already (no complaints here). They are doing a take out service only, and have had to delay their full opening due to the lockdown. They high ceilings, and solid tunes they are playing lead me to believe this will be an awesome hang out spot , hopefully sooner than later The line out the door for beer tells me they are already known, so that's a plus as well. The staff is nice as can be, and the selection is huge. Wishing the best for these guys, happy to be able to support them now, and hope to continue to do so.

Pat L.

Yelp
Great beers! Probably most impressive is that they had several distinct types that they all do well, not just a "one great type and some OK ones" type of brewery. My favorite was their nitro stout, but also had their English Brown, an interesting sour and a couple IPAs, and loved everything I had. They were super dog friendly (both inside and out since they don't serve food), with lots of dog owners and dog lovers there - probably the best spot to take your dog I've been to in NYC! Bouncers and staff were super friendly. Tons of restaurants around and you can get it to go and eat it at their picnic tables while enjoying their fine beers. We'll be back, often.

Scott J.

Yelp
Well brewed and properly served lagers that are worth checking out. That had other styles that looked great, but I stuck with the Czech and German styles. Stylistically accurate. Tasty!

Joseph T.

Yelp
We came here for a few beers after dinner. They have a great outdoor dining setup with about ten benches making it great for groups of four to ten. About half the benches are covered yet not enclosed. They also have a tech forward set up featuring a QR code menu where you can order and pay directly from. They've also partnered with a nearby pizzeria to provide the same convenience for food. We had a couple of their wine inspired berlin weissers and a couple of their farmhouse style ales. They have a great variety and the quality is superb. Lots of options from softer and sessionable options to flavor forward bombs.

Yelp
Had beers at Wild East Brewing Co. on Saturday evening. I really liked the space and was impressed by the quantity and quality of the beers. Quality: I feel Wild East Brewing Co. is often lost in the shuffle of the breweries in Gowanus, but it absolutely shouldn't be. My first visit was eye-opening and I will absolutely be back. The first impressive thing is the huge selection of beers they had available. They had 20 beers on draft during our visit, plus a few more in bottles. They split them into different categories, but notable were the number of farmhouse and sour beers, a clear focus. During our visit I tried Fervor & Defiance, Funhaus, Prescience Green, Cosmic Arena, Turnstyle Tinto, Noncompliance, Hypersaturate, and Monopoly: Galaxy. My favorites were Hypersaturate, a DDH DIPA, which was unbelievably smooth and Turnstyle Tinto, a Berliner Weisse, which nailed that sour balance. There were no bad beers, but Funhaus was a bit boring and would not be one I selected again. Quantity: The size options are clearly marked, with most offering a smaller option 8-10oz and a larger option 16oz. Value: $5-$8 for Beer Pours depending on size and selection. Ambiance: Wild East Brewing Co. is located in the Gowanus area of Brooklyn. They have set up a pretty large outdoor seating area, with a constructed covered area in the street and several other tents along the building. Walking inside I expected a warehouse feel, but it was very stylish. While it had some industrial elements, it also had sleek tables, wood finishes, and lighting that highlighted the bar area. Large barrels were visible through a back window, displaying some of the brewing process. The music selections were also on point with a fun mix of indie rock and pop. Crowd: The brewery was fairly busy on Saturday evening. We were able to grab a seat without waiting, but there was never more than one or two open tables at a time. They are also very dog friendly, and you can expect to see dogs inside and out. Service: They have you both order and pay via a QR code, but I appreciated that the servers and bartenders still checked in to see how everything was and provide other recommendations. Parking: A fair amount of street parking in the area.

Yelp
I've wanted to check out this brewery for months and had a fantastic experience. All COVID precautions were in place and the indoor and outdoor set up were both very comfortable. Their beer was phenomenal. My sister and I tried the festbier lager, Czech dark lager, and DDH IPA. They use proper glassware for each beer variety which I appreciated. We hope to come back soon!

Yelp
WEAR A MASK! PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING! FLATTEN THE CURVE!!! DONATE PLASMA IF YOU'RE ANTIBODY POSITIVE. DON'T DRINK/INJECT BLEACH. SUPPORT #BLM PROTESTERS. SUPPORT MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESSES. Their taproom isn't quite finished yet, but they're open for take away. They've got their proper social distancing precautions down, and they have hand sanitizer in spades. At the moment, they'll do growler fills and they offer resealable cans. I think they stopped doing crowlers recently. Plus they're now canning, so you can grab a quick 4-pack. They're also in a lot of local places too, including Key Food and craft beer specialty shops like St. Gambrinus! The Superlative (DDH IPA) is amazing. Surprisingly smooth for 6.2%, and not too hoppy. I also got a fill of their sour Berlinerweisse called the Turnstyle. It was tart, and sour, so good if you're into that. Next time I'll get the fruited version (the Turnstyle Spritz) since that's more up my alley. If you get the reusable cans, you can return them for a discount the next time around!

Yelp
Great beer, great service, and great atmosphere! If you visit be sure to also try the Chicago Snap hotdog if it's still available - some of my friends even ordered it more than once it was so good

Yelp
Pretty chill spot! Stopped by on a brewery excursion in the area and had a great time. On a Friday the place was not super busy and had a decent amount of seating available. The staff was super chill and grabbed a table without any issues. DOGS ALLOWED INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. Beers: decent selection of mixed varieties - ipa, pils, lager and pale ales. I had two IPAs and a pale ale and they were all good. I'd recommend the supersaturated or prescience pearl. Nothing mind blowing but a chill brewery and spot. I'll stop by again probs

Yelp
We stumbled upon Wild East on a Sunday afternoon and wow, this place has been my favorite find of 2021! Highlights for us were the friendly quick service, delicious beer and great selection, lots of natural light, simple yet stylish design inside, clean bathrooms, ample spacious seating indoors. Will be back and will be telling my friends.

Yelp
Incredible, just incredible. Super helpful staff. Big comfortable, industrial space. Pages upon pages of unique options, all delicious in their own way, and at a great price. I'm sure to come back often, bravo.

Yelp
What a wonderful space! Of course, we cannot fully appreciate it just yet (thanks, COVID) but they are open for take-out which is wonderful! They have a few menus posted on the doors so you can choose ahead. Once you've entered the huge warehouse space, you are greeted with a smile (and on one occasion the heavenly smell of brewing beer). We have stopped in three times so far and have loved all of the drafts we chose. I am a huge fan of their Turnstyle options which are crisp, sour beers. They had three flavors: original, tropical, and some berry flavor. I definitely loved the original and berry, the tropical is QUITE tart. The Saison is a lovely staple as well. I can't wait to go back and try some more. Once we get through this whole pandemic, this will be a great spot to hang out with friends and sip on some tasty beer.

Yelp
Firstly: This brewery is definitely following good COVID practices! Good social distancing and sanitization! Secondly: There's great outdoor seating available! You can bring your own food as well (just need to buy a bag of chips). Most importantly: the beer tastes amazing. Definitely try the Hypatia's Wit Farmhouse Ale.. soooo refreshing!!

Yelp
I wish I could give a better review. The "bouncer" was not at his station to check our covid vaccinations. Then he proceeded to use a extremely disrespectful tone with my friends who walked past the station and had walked near the bar. As we tried to explain that we are out of town and he proceeded to yell that he didn't give a fuck where we were from and if my friends understand English. This was extremely offensive. His co-worker proceeded to threaten us. I've never wrote a yelp review on anything. But this warranted a warning for New Yorkers and visitors to avoid this establishment. There are many other fantastic brewing companies in the areas that are much more welcoming and respectful. Avoid this place entirely.

Yelp
Great new brewery in the Gowanus beer corridor. They were supposed to have a grand opening in April but did a soft opening with outdoor seating given current times- inside looks great too. The two beers I tried- the pale ale and wheat saison were great. Best part they have almost 20 beers on tap which is unheard of for most breweries.
