Wild Tavern

This fabulous neighbourhood restaurant has some of Chelsea’s best food. It’s pricey, but it is absolutely fabulous. From the crab pasta at the bar to lobster (here have both locks and foreign when in season) and caviar, and an extraordinary wine list, this is a local secret. The steaks are outstanding too -the highest grade meats cooked to perfection and served beautifully. The lamb rack is thick and tasty and again cooked perfectly. This is quality dining -some would call it British but I’d call it international food of the highest order. My favourite nights here are spent sitting at the bar having dinner, and the waitress Iona is absolutely brilliant. She makes fantastic suggestions and has an energy and service level way beyond anything I have seen. Absolutely brilliant.

I had ravioli and desert. The ravioli was great, but nothing really special or creative. It has the ricotta and lemon fillings. The desert was okay. I like the idea of adding sour passion fruit to a sweet chocolate mousse, but I wish they added a bit more passion fruit, it wood be more balanced that way. The atmosphere was nice, and service was amazing! I think I would like to comeback and try more dishes, because the ones that I chose was good, but simple, and trying something special would be nicer

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wild Tavern, and I must say, everything was top notch! From the food to the service and the atmosphere, the experience was exceptional.We started with the Beef Carpaccio and Artichoke Salad, both of which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced and the presentation was impeccable. For the main course, we had the Linguine Lobster, which was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly cooked "al dente" and the lobster was tender and flavorful.To finish off our meal, we enjoyed a delightful cheesecake, and were pleasantly surprised with a belated birthday cannoli, generously given by the Sardinian Manager (we regret not catching your name). She was incredibly friendly and professional, as was our waiter Sorin, who provided excellent service throughout our visit.The atmosphere at Wild Tavern is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or just a lovely lunch/dinner out. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you for the great hospitality and memorable experience.

Food was good, service was attentive and the place looks very lovely. Lots of activities inside while the streets outside are rather serene. I went earlier and got the chance to walk around. It is a very nice area.

Very decent portions given the place and the price range. Be careful not to order too many sides as they are huge. Good quality food and great service. Try to seat outside if you can, but be wary that it can get really hot in the summer.

I can’t say I’d recommend this place. From the moment we ordered a bottle of wine, the experience started going downhill. Instead of offering a taste to both of us, the waiter only poured it for the person I was with, completely ignoring me. I found this quite frustrating, why assume only one person gets to decide? It felt dismissive and set a negative tone for the evening. The food didn’t do much to turn things around. I had a steak, which, unfortunately, was bland and lacked any real depth of flavor. For the price, I was expecting something far more satisfying. With these service hiccups and underwhelming food, I simply wouldn’t return to this restaurant

Love the place and the plates really full of flavour! Amazing We went there for a little celebration with friends and I have to say we really enjoyed the atmosphere, the attention, the place… also we could stay there for ever…!!! Also the people working there STUNNING. Definitely I will be back there, already share the location to many of my friends and community as this is a place to be. A neighbourhood gem! For anyone lucky enough to live in Chelsea, or anyone visiting the area, this tucked away spot on Chelsea Green should definitely be on your radar. A warm, inviting dining room (we went for lunch, but I imagine it becomes very romantic in the evening) and charming staff - we were greeted with a big smile by Faith, and our waitress Lucia was spot-on with her recommendations. The specials were a particular highlight - the blue fin tuna with truffle, and the beef bolognaise were both outstanding. The cauliflower starter was also delicious, as was the cannoli for dessert. All in all, a fabulous place for lunch or dinner!
